It was a miracle. No. Clearly more than that. This was an act of providence surely. A Deus Ex Machina, perhaps? Had the hand of the lord almighty itself reached down to influence the events of the... well... not exactly living, but shinigami world, I suppose. Let's not dice details, this was incredible. Astounding even, nay miraculous. Kaen Youji was actually doing his job. The thought would be enough to make any who knew him to break down laughing. Well, except his Vice Captain anyways. He actually did what she told him to do. But on his own intitiative? Wow. That was something else.
Anyways though, he had escorted a rogue shinigami to the Senzaikyu for imprisonment while his sentence was pending. Kaen was actually wounded from the fight! Must have been a helluva guy to take down for the third seat to be injured like that. Maybe that was why Kaen had done it. Maybe. But the job was done, and Kaen was looking forwards to relaxing afterwards. And by relaxing, I mean faceplanting on the couch in his office and completely ignoring his paperwork. But I digress...
As Kaen exited through the Senzaikyu entrance he accidentally bumped into someone. "Oh! Sorry. I wasn't paying attention!" He admitted to the person as he bumped into them. "I'm a little tired. I'm very sorry." He added, apologizing a second time. And wounded.... I should probably check in with squad 4 about this....[/color] He thought to himself, as he didn't know any first aid himself.

Today had been a rather odd day for Ritz. Despite the fact that her main expertise was in defensive support and not in actual healing she had been sent to go treat a returning member of the 7th squad, the third seat in fact. She had been told to meet him at the Senzaikyu where he would be dropping off the rouge that he had been assigned to catch.
Now Ritz had never actually met the third seat in person, though she knew his name. So when the very person that she was trying to find literally ran into her she did not know it was him. she stumbled a bit quickly regaining her balance and standing to face the person whom had run into her. She would hold up her gauntlet clad hand as he apologized. "It's alright I'm fine...say...are you Kaen by any chance?" Maybe she had gotten lucky and had just found him.
Kaen looked at the girl as she spoke and nodded. "Huh? Yeah. I'm Kaen." He replied. "Shichiban dai-san-seki." He added, mainly as a formality. Yeah, he used Shichi instead of Nana. Whatever. Kaen didn't believe in it being an unlucky number. Anyways, back to the matter at hand. "What about you? Why would you be looking for me?" He asked curiously. Huh? Had they already sent first aid? That was mean! Seriously.... were they expecting him to come back like this? Well, given that it WAS Kaen it wasn't surprising but.... still, you'd think someone would at least WAIT for you to come to them first.
The girl was about as tall as Kaen was, though her build was a lot more slender, as opposed to Kaen's lean muscle. Though the third seat's reddish-black hair added quite a bit to his height, making him appear a little taller than he really was. "You've come a long way. Fourth division's not exactly close to this place, is it?" He commented, observing her curiously. Not exactly a common uniform. Metal armor was located at several parts of her uniform. Really unusual, especially the fact that it appeared to be European in design.
