The First Formal "Fainting"

OOC: This thread is a social thread. It is the first meeting of Xochilt and Enma. In this thread Xochilt will gain her desire for Enma and want to become his mistress. With all the elements it should be pretty interesting. Also Rin is joining Xochilt to guide her in her journey. I mean it's obvious that "sisters" like to help each other out. So Rin's just got to help! Though there may be no hope for Xochilt she will not give up!

Xochilt had heard word that Enma, the devil comes to the outskirts of Rukongai. Aspiring to become captain herself she was very interested in learning more about this captain. She didn't know too much about the captains since she had been outside of soul society for so long. She was accompanied by his vice captain and good friend, Rin. With Rin Xochilt would be able to surely find this captain of interest. All the bars had been closed because or destroyed because of their infamous partying, so they had nothing better to do. Xochilt was swelling with eagerness. "So, what's your captain like anyways? Is he cute? I hope so, there isn't very many shinigami around that have caught my eye. They just don't make them like they used too." Xochilt asked as they neared the edge of Rukongai.

Soon they would be near the woods.. This ment they were going to need to start being stealthy so they wouldn't get notice. Which unfortunately for them wasn't easy because the two acted like loud buffoons when they were together. She kept her eyes forward in case she spotted anyone. "I hope he is dreamy, from what I've hear he is pretty strong aswell.. though not much of anything is known about him. Just that he goes by the devil.[/i]

So it seems as though Rukongai just couldn't handle two ladies having a good time in a bar. Lame. Proves that both Rin and Xochilt were so much more better than these lame, second rate bars. Hmph. It's only natural of course~ So now they had to occupy themselves with something else. Something like spying on her dear, sweet captain, Enma. She saw his exposed torso ONCE but not his face. Sure, sure....she was "indecent" for looking at that one time in the hot springs but that's such a harsh word, ne~? Why don't we call it curious. Hell, who wouldn't be? Almost no one knew what he truly looked like. So this would be a nice little adventure to go on.

"So, what's your captain like anyways? Is he cute? I hope so, there isn't very many shinigami around that have caught my eye. They just don't make them like they used too." Rin blinked as she brought out her fan and started to fan herself. About Enma-taichou, huh? "Enma-taichou...Is rather quiet. Ne...Between you and me, he has quite the stomach. But he never removes his bandana! It upsets me quiet a bit." she pouted. She was really curious. She just wanted to put a face to the image as a whole. That was all she wanted. "He's a bit of a recluse too. He's almost always by himself. Not very social I'm afraid" she frowned.

When they got to the woods, Rin would keep a look out. Enma, whether he liked to believe it or not, stuck out like a sore thumb in the sense that almost EVERYTHING fell asleep when they were around him. "Ne, Xochilt..Keep an eye out for anything that's sleeping. When he's around most people, they fall asleep. I would think the same goes for animals too." Makes sense..right? Sorta ish?

Xochilt raised her eyebrow when Rin spoke about Enma. "..People they fall asleep." These words were the most intriguing. Why was it that he cause people to fall asleep? Would the effect be the same on her? She was very interested to find out. The whole part about him being a recluse passed over her. She didn't think about what he might act like because of it. No instead, she also thought about how no one had ever seen him. This also sparked curiosity. This man was very peculiar. He wasn't like the others, and that's what made him so fascinating. Xochilt was in a fog at the moment now. She was caught up in different fantasies about what Enma could look like. Several simulations of their first interaction went through her head. There was one where he took her into his arms caressing her and there was love at first sight. Then she thought about how he could be a knight in shining armor. A few more romantic themes that are always highlighted upon were thought about also. She was in for a huge surprise.

Xochilt then tripped on an indent. Quickly she caught her balance and stumbled to a tree. A man was laying there. he seemed to be slightly drowsy. Xochilt jumped up and down pointing at him. Then got very quiet. "I Think we are getting close." She whispered realizing what a fool she must have looked like. She normally wasn't a giddy person but for some reason she was acting different then normal. A sense of foreshadowing perhaps? Then she inspected the man closer only to notice that he had sake in his hand. Feeling like a moron she walked past the man pretending the event never happened. They weren't getting close, the man was just a drunkard. "So, Rin.. is there anyone you have had your eyes on lately? anyone at all? I mean there's got to be someone in soul society. Or perhaps elsewhere? Girl talk time." Xochilt needed to take her mind elsewhere Enma was playing games with her mind and he hadn't even met her yet!

[Enma, Lord of Hades]

Blades slammed into each other with a great clanging sound which echoed throughout all of Rukongai like thunder, and then the opposing blade cracked and snapped in half, the blade of the victor tearing through the hide of the victim, cutting deeply in to end that mongrel criminal's life in one swift blow. Put simply, this was the work of Soul Society's strongest Captain. The Devil, Enma had been the one to annihilate this base as well, a large compound of terrorists who'd planned to bomb infiltrate the Seireitei, and then bomb the Seireitei itself. Enma had tracked them for months, waiting for all of their leaders to gather before he moved in and took them out on his own, six dozen total enemies.

Enma was wearing the same as always, this being his mounds of weapons hidden underneath his Shikashuko pants and shirt, further covered by his buttoned up white Captain's Haori. The black beanie and camo green bandanna that he wore to make up a mask covered his entire face, and hair as well, leaving nothing visible except for a narrow slit to show his eyes. His eyes were crimson red, and instead of pupils he had "X" in black in the dead center of these eyes. He truly did have the eyes of a demon, though the rest of him didn't look half bad. Not that anyone else knew what he looked like, seeing as his mask never came off in the presence of others. Typically, he was stronger than most people by a large margin anyway, so in his presence they fainted.

All around, only the leader of this group had been able to withstand Enma's sleep power, and so he'd stabbed them one by one quite easily. The leader had only barely managed to stumble out, dueling for under ten seconds before his sword shattered, and Enma killed him viciously and without mercy. There was no need to let these people, these threats to his home live. Enma was not a merciful man, and that was why they also called him Lord of Hades. Enma was one who sent many men to Hell, ending their lives to do so. He had learned years ago how to abandon his heart, and how to kill. Enma knew how to take a life without feeling any sentiments at all, though this did not mean he lacked understanding of the value of life. He simply prioritized.

At any rate, sheathing his blade, Enma disappeared from sight. It wasn't until a small, barely open bar that he reappeared, walking in and sitting at the counter. Enma's mere presence caused all within the bar to fall asleep, and those in the surrounding street to also fall asleep. The bartender alone managed to stay awake, grinning with all gold teeth at Enma. It was noticeable that the bartender had quite a powerful spiritual pressure, enough to remain awake in Enma's presence. "You'll have the usual, Devil?" the man grinned widely. Enma nodded. "The whole bottle. I'm celebrating today. After today, I'm going to be out for a while. I'm going to hunt Exus Kei." This of course was code for something else. The bartender simply grinned, however. "Good luck." he said, slamming a bottle of vodka in front of Enma.

Xochilt was not the only girl caught up in thinking about what Enma's real face might look like. As his vice captain who's worked with the man for decades and has never seen his face, it just wasn't bloody fair to her! Not in the slightest! She'd always wondered what it looked like. She's seen abs but she couldn't quite put a face to it all; which to her, was the most important part. The empress was rather curious you see. As curious as a kitten. She was tired of that damned bandanna. If she got the chance today, she was going to rip it clean off his face and do them both (Xochilt and Rin) a favor.

"I think we are getting close." Rin looked at the man skeptically and raised an eyebrow. He looked like he was out of it..but she could smell the alcohol. He wreaked of it. "..Ew." she cringed a bit. Drunk bum? No thank you. Let's carry on and search for her captain, ne~! "So, Rin.. is there anyone you have had your eyes on lately? anyone at all? I mean there's got to be someone in soul society. Or perhaps elsewhere? Girl talk time." Rin perked up at this and blinked. The last time she had anything remotely close to girl talk was in that one fight where that disgusting little hippie asked if she was in love. He was so rude...he wasn't even courteous enough to give her his name. He was quite the peasant. She didn't mean that in a nice way either.

"Ne..I'm already dating someone. No one in Soul Society I'm afraid." Rin would lean in close to whisper in her friends ear, "An arrancar. So you'll have to keep that bit under wraps~". It was illegal. Enma knew, but he didn't say anything about it. In fact, he probably thought that she was off her rocker. Oh well~ "He...hates me~ And I mean that in the nicest way possible... Though, he'd never say he loves me. The boy simply can't bring himself to say it! Which, I'll admit, is a bit worrisome... I mean...It's not wrong for a girl to want to hear she's loved, ne~? Other than that, things are great~" she smiled. Rin considered Xochilt to be one of her greatest friends...so it was only natural that she told her about her girly troubles and whatnot. She was probably one of the only ones who she'd tell actually.

Xochilt had regained her clear mind and continued walking along the tree line. There was no sign of anyone falling asleep.. at least that she could see. However she continued walking along it while she listened to Rin talk about her lover. She raised an eyebrow at the mention of an arrancar. Though she wasn't judging, she was slightly concerned. "This 'man' do you see yourself being happy with him? Something seems a bit off about your relationship.. although it might just be due to the circumstances." Xochilt turned to look at Rin. She wanted to look at her face as she responded. Subconsciously Xochilt was moving in a direction towards a bar she had recently heard about since the others had all failed to handle the two. This search was getting boring and there was no sign of Enma anywhere. Xochilt continued to move forward however because the bar had to be close.

Xochilt would never dare tell a soul anything about Rin that could damage her reputation or offend her in anyway. So there was nothing for Rin to worry about. Friends would never do that to one another. She actually found the situation between Rin and her the arrancar quite interesting. What were the chances that enemies would fall for one another? Other than in story books and movies obviously. "Does this, person have a name?" Xochilt was eager to know his name that way if she ever came across him she would be able to see what he looked like. You have to know what your girls man looks like it's only fair so they could properly gossip about him.

Xochilt walked by a few people on the ground. They had fallen asleep but Xochilt was too caught up in conversation to notice. She was listening for what Rin had to say. It was comical because the people were in plain sight yet they went unnoticed by Xochilt. They were getting closer to Enma now. But how long would it take for them to find him once they noticed that he was near? He might possibly sense them and try avoiding them. Things were about to get interesting..

[Enma, Lord of Hades]

"It's all leading up to that point, isn't it...?" The bartender asked with his huge grin. Enma pulled out the bottle from underneath his bandanna, slamming it onto the table, empty. His eyes were burning with fierce, flaming passion unlike any other. Enma was grinning from behind his mask. Usually, he didn't grin, and he usually didn't even talk to people either. This bartender was a longtime friend of his. The bartender of course knew what Enma looked like too. Enma had been coming here since he'd still been in a rogue group with his friends. He'd come here to reveal what he'd become as Enma later on. Of course, this meant that the bartender was the only one to know Enma's real name too.

"Yeah." Enma said. "Hell. One day, I'll visit Hell for myself, and I'll be successful in returning." The bartender put another bottle in front of Enma, who didn't take it immediately this time, but instead waited for a few moments. One had to be careful with alcohol, after all. Enma was particularly strong in his resistance to it, and of course it was natural that he didn't want to get drunk, or even tipsy. He didn't want to lose his judgment or anything like that. "I've heard rumors of an Arrancar in Las Noches who shares a similar goal." The bartender said. "They speak of a man who wishes to enter Hell for revenge. They say his strength is unlike anything we've ever before imagined. They say that with one attack, he could probably level Seireitei."

"He won't be able to do that while I'm here." Enma replied coolly. "I told you when I first took this identity, I'll protect it. This home of mine, and the people that inhabit it." In particular, it should be noted that if one saw Enma's sheathed blade, they'd notice the handle had changed. In reality, so too had the blade. Enma's Zanpakuto blade had become black, and there were red flame patterns dancing across the dead center of the blade flat in a thin line. It was still a katana, but it was a cool new design that Enma had decided to take on. The blade was much more effective than it had previously been, believe it or not. Enma was quite proud of the way he could use it. The swordplay behind it was rather masterful.

With that, Enma stood up. He put a bag of coins onto the table, taking the bottle under his bandanna momentarily. When he set it back onto the table, it had more coins in it, and it was devoid of liquid. Quite a magic trick. "Take care." Enma said. "You should walk around without your mask once in a while." The bartender said. "You'll learn quite a bit of good can come from being less mysterious."

As Enma reached the exit, he looked back. "It's only in Hell that I'll have that kind of luxury." he concluded.
