Karakura Town sure was a rather new sight. People were bustling around on the busy city blocks, and not one section of any street seemed to be with a person stopping, all had predetermined destinations, and avoided each other quite naturally. It was different. Or, to Toki Kiyomi, new resident of Karakura town, it was strange. She lived in quite a suburban place, so, that many people in this busy district was a bit overwhelming. She hadn't even gotten to her new apartment, since she could pay off the cab driver to take her directly from the airport to her new home.
So, she was lugging a suitcase, her guitar on her back, and a rather large amp covered in a casing in her other hand, while walking through the rather busy street. 'Everything is heavy. So. Heavy. Damn it.' Kiyomi thought to herself whilst she continue walking into the direction she hoped was her apartment. Her eyes had bags underneath them, the plane ride was bearable, but. . . She just couldn't sleep for some reason.
"It shouldn't be far now. Just two blocks away." Kiyomi murmured while consulting a map at that light, looking around while she sat on her amp's case. She was waiting for the light, but, it was good to take a look around the area to see what was around and what not. There were several stores around! A train station, a food restaurant, even a rather odd looking store that sold weird merchandise, from the looks of it. But she was across the street, she couldn't judge it from the daunt looking object stacked in front of the store.
An old man walked into the store wearing a beige trench count, and a matching bowler hat. He had a thick moustache and a stern looking gaze. Kiyomi thought he looked pretty intimidating for some reason, but, she couldn't quite place it. Her eyes narrowed on him as he walked into the store and noticed he stopped to gaze back at her, and in that same instance, she suddenly felt a heaviness pushing her off her amp and straight to the ground. She let out a surprise "Eh?" as she fell, her eyes widening and then shutting close upon slamming into the ground.
It was a small distance, but falling onto concrete generally hurt. "Ah'. . . Damn it!" She hissed out once she propped herself. Had she kept her eye on the old man, she would notice him tilting his hat a tad and walking into the store with a sly smirk. But she was busy regaining composure amongst the dozens of eyes that stared at her random fall. "Hey, are you alright?" "Maybe she's woozy or something. . ." Random assumptions were being flung around, and she hadn't even said one thing. . .
'This town is really gonna be something' else, won't it Ichiro?'[/i] The thought brought a smile to her lips, while her eyes closed. Her hands were patting herself down, getting off any smudges from her attire. It was dirty, and she'd definitely need to change, but she felt better doing this anyway. "It's ok. I'm fine. I'm just getting off a plane so, sorry for," she stopped for a moment to pick up her map pamphlet and place her guitar back on her back before she continued. "The scare, feel free to go on!" She opened her eyes only to see the crowd had dispersed. The people were truly heartless!
But she smiled anyway. She turned to look back at that weird shop, only to shrug and continue on her path.
Within the store.
"Hmph. You see these fucking Japs meddling around!" Yelled that same old man wearing the bowler hat. He put extra emphasis on the word as he neared the shop owner, who only smiled. It was weird to see he was quite fine with this man being a blatant racist in the middle of Japan, towards Japans people. But he was aye-okay with letting him rant about them. The shop owner was also a old man, with age showing just as obvious on him as the other man. He was polishing a vase rather intently, as if he was completely focused on it, but he asked the man a rather abstract question.
"So you felt it too, hmm?"
The angry bowler hat man stopped talking, and lowered his gaze, tilting his hat with his left hand once more. A reiatsu had flared out from the girl while she was looking at him, and it truly shocked the old man. But he had to stop it, in case a hollow or something or another were to come and attack out in the open. "She's another one." He murmured in a menacingly calm voice, while the man polishing the vase only nodded, letting a smile grow on his face. "You might have another student on your hand. . ." While he was talking the old man picked up a rather odd looking jade statue. "Jung-Hwa, Master of Heaven's Broad Strike."
The old man stopped polishing his vase as he turned to smile at the man named Jung-Hwa. "Fuck that! I already have a fucking Japanese student and a mutt fighting each other. I don't need to sully my art anymore with these damned Japanese. . ." The man's temper seemed to cool down once he stopped speaking. "I'll drop by later." He murmured, putting the serpent statue down, making his way to the exit. "Seeya Jung, be well~." The shop owner spoke in a playful tone, as if they were friends for quite sometime.
Once the man left, the shop keeps smile turned into a wide grin. "It's been a while since anything fun happened~. Ohhh. What the gears of fate have in store for this town. . ."
