Plotline: [Soul Reapers - You have been dispatched. Orders have come in through Central 46 to investigate rumors of a invasion of West Rukongai. The Invaders seem to be powerul, so only Captains and Vice Captains are dispatched. On the way through the Rukongai, a path of destruction seems to mark your path. All houses were destroyed. In district 60, here is a giant pile of mutilated bodies stacked in the middle of the road. Lurking around this pile of bodies is strange, powerful Spiritual Pressure. Watch out.

Arrancars, Rogues, Akki, etc. - A mysterious figure approached you, explaining a plot to attack the Soul Society. He expains to you to wreak as much havoc as possible. He then opens a Garganta. When you arrive, you see that people have been here before. Districts 55-59 have been completely destroyed, leaving only a smoking wreakage in it's place. ]- Explain the plot of your adventure.

[Enma, Lord of Hades]

Krrssshhhh. Krrrsssshhhh. Bing. Bing. Bing. The sounds echoed in Enma's ears. He sat atop Sokkyokku Hill, for no one was presently there. He was cross legged, his back leaning against the Soul Cross. When he heard the sounds, it was because of a little speaker he'd been trying out to attempt to communicate with patrols. It didn't work. It was just a bunch of static and beeping. He threw it away, and it shattered against the ground. Enma stood up. A Hell Butterfly was swooping past him. But, due to Enma's aura, it quickly fell asleep. He put his finger over it. His Mahou technique, which put everyone around him with inferior reiatsu strength to sleep, even worked on animals. He instantly gained the images. This Hell Butterfly had been heading to someone else. But, Enma was probably more powerful than that someone else. A disturbance in West Rukongai. Alright, a miniature invasion.

This wouldn't be tremendously difficult. Enma dealt with stuff like this a lot. Usually it was a larger scale, a plan by some group. It was rare that someone was stupid enough to do it openly. Everyone knew all about Enma, Lord of Hades. The Devil, Enma. He was strong enough to defeat multiple Captains at once. And strategically, he was a genius. He picked up the Hell Butterfly, transmitting his own message into it. It quickly woke up, given a renewal from Enma's own energy, and flew off. It was going to spread the message like a disease throughout other butterflies. Squad 7 was going to get the message. Everyone would soon be all over West Rukongai, or off somewhere else guarding. They were going to strategically defeat low level enemies, while Enma himself took out the high levels. The low levels wouldn't be able to stand in his presence.

Enma disappeared from place. After a few minutes, he got to West Rukongai to see the destruction. No worries. Squads 1 and 4 would take care of the collateral. They'd repair everything relatively quickly, and save almost all of the lives. It would be as if nothing at all had happened. Well, for their side, anyway. For the enemies foolish enough to attack the Soul Society, which by now was well known as The Devil Enma's turf, it was going to be Hell itself. Enma was the strongest Captain besides the Captain Commander. His power was greater than any Espada. Greater than any Captain. He was going to crush any threats that he encountered. More specifically, he was going to completely kill them. He had powers that they would never even dare want to mess with. Enma began his journey, a simple walk through the carnage. His senses scanned out, looking for enemies. [OOC: Don't forget to provide stats for all new enemies. Enma has an active technique that puts all enemies with inferior reiatsu strength to sleep.]

That's all for the template. There are a LOT of stats, but don't get choosy and just give some to all. The result could be quite negative.

Suddenly the pile of dead bodies shifted, and most of them were dissipated. An Arrancar jumped down, creating a giant crater where he jumped. He stood up, easily towering over 8 feet. His robes were ripped, revealing his muscular chest. His hollow hole was smack dab in the middle of his forehead. The remains of his Hollow Mask resembles Liberty spikes, but white; each about two feet long, jutting everywhere out of his bald head.His feet were clad in dirt, grime, and blood, and he was holding a dead spirit in his hand. Even as Enma watched, he consumed it.

The Arrancar stirred. He straightened and turned to look in Enma's direction. His low voice grumbled. "Who are you, Soul Reaper?" His low voice sounded like gravel grating in a garbage disposal. Now that he turned, his eyes were brilliant red; much like blood. His teeth were filed to sharp points. His hands, relaxing by his side and drenched in blood, are calloused, his fingernails sharpened to points as well. His face is immensely scarred; it looked like someone carved it out of granite, someone with dull tools, no expierence, and who had barely the hintest of what a human face looked like.

Unbenowst (hopefully) to Enma, three hollows had decided to take advantage of his momentary distraction and sneak up on Enma. All three are higher Adjuchas. There is a Tiger hollow, a Wolf hollow, and a Gorilla. The tiger has blue streaks down his otherwise white body. The wolf has gray spikes coming out of his mane and end of his tail. The gorilla is almost entirely white, except for a red round mask, with spikes around the edges. The Tiger was coming from his right, the Gorilla from his left, and the wolf from right behind. They are all Class 2.

[Enma, Lord of Hades]

Enma started to gaze out at his foe. Hidden behind the bandanna, his face frowned slightly. Enma glanced to his sides with his eyes, which were the only visible features amid his makeshift mask. His eyes were bright crimson, and his pupils were X's instead of just regular dot-like, circular pupils. His enemy might not notice it, given the distance required to see this, but most people at a fair range saw it. Enma continued focusing on the Arrancar without speaking. That was when the Adjuchas all got close enough. They were finally within around twenty or so meters of Enma. Instantly, his aura caved over them. They fell asleep. It took around 30 seconds total, but it had been affecting them ever since they got within range of Enma, which was when they first saw him. Their slow, silent approach had just made the effects stronger, so that when they were within a striking range, they could no longer hold up.

Sleep consumed the three Adjuchas, and they fell to the ground, out cold. Enma glanced around at them. "You shouldn't walk with such heavy steps." he noted. "I heard you before you fell asleep." He then looked at the Arrancar in front of him. A quick analysis of the body showed Enma what was coming. In terms of power, this guy had brute strength. That was obvious. But his leg muscles, though tight, were not runner tight. They were body builder tight, with the muscles focused mainly along the calves rather than the thighs. The thighs were less tight than the calves. This guy wasn't fast. His speed was inferior, meaning that Enma, a fast mover to begin with, wouldn't have much trouble maneuvering around. But, that reiatsu strength was pretty high. This guy was slightly stronger than Enma in those terms, which was why he had yet to fall asleep while in Enma's presence.

Basically, if this guy was a user of Hierro, he would be difficult to cut. Enma's strikes would probably be an inch more shallow than normal against a steel or diamond type skin. This quick analysis gave Enma the ability to locate the best way to effectively deal with the Arrancar as well. Enma was not feeling the need to release at that moment. His preliminary analysis revealed that despite everything, his enemy's hierro wasn't strong enough to keep Enma from killing him through a vital spot. The throat was a good example. The heart and wrists too. The correct veins in the ankles and calves. Lots of possible areas. The enemy would expect some of them. Except the calves. It was not common knowledge for someone to know that there was an artery there that one couldn't afford to have cut. Enma was instantly in front of the guy, his sword drawn, and diagonally sliding across the right calve. If this cut the artery, his enemy would be unable to use that leg, and would bleed out in seconds.

This didn't require a very in depth hit to work, so hierro was useless in this case. "It doesn't matter who I am. You're too slow to keep up." Enma said. He was right. His speed was four times that of the enemy. Four times. It was highly unlikely that this guy could defend on time.

Enma's Remaining Reiatsu: 2500 Reiatsu

The Arrancar roared in pain and jumped on his uninjured foot. The blood drenched his foot and the ground. However, after a few seconds, the wound closed up and healed completely without a scar. Why you- Soul Reaper, you will pay for that! He roared and shot two Bala towards Enma. He reached to his side and brought out a giant Khanda. He swung it towards the Soul Reaper. Tell me your name, Soul Reaper, so i can carve it on your tomb! He roared.

His fighting was, quite obviously, berseker. No style, no elegance. Just pure, unadultered rage and strength. Once hit with his sword and even an Espada level Heirro (except Kuroi's) would be rendered in half. As he swung, a two Bala shot out of the tip of his blade.

REMAINING REITSU: 2800/3000

[Enma, Lord of Hades]

During the jump, that was a good opportunity. Enma missed it though. He purposely chose not to seize it to attack. His enemy was angry. Very angry. But his enemy was also a fool. When the first two Bala shot out, Enma stepped to the side, moving with his superior speed, and hacking into the Arrancar's hand. This carved it off at the wrist, causing the twin Bala to explode before they could be fired. He had four times his enemy's speed. Enma's attacks were flawless, and a counter was unlikely as a result of the speed difference. But, this also meant that the unstable Bala exploding across the arm left burns. And so in that way, more damage was inflicted. More damage meant that it took longer for the high speed regeneration to heal it. And so while that happened, Enma decided that he'd have to carve up his enemy. High Speed Regeneration worked well, but it couldn't repair all wounds instantaneously.

If he inflicted enough damage, it wouldn't keep up. Though, he didn't think that was necessary. His opponent, swinging with an Indian Khanda, was easy to defend against. It was a use of brute force. No style. The Khanda was a momentum based sword. It gained power from the momentum of an elegant, detailed battle style. If used with only brute force, it lost its effectiveness. It was easy to defend against. Enma stepped to the side to evade the Bala, which he saw charging. They flew past him. With his superior speed, Enma reached out with his free hand, grabbing his enemy's wrist as it extended with the Khanda. He caught it dead on. The grip on that weapon was awkward, and not much power could actually be gathered in it without knowing the proper style. His enemy was using arm strength, not body strength. Enma pumped body strength into catching that, putting his momentum into grabbing that wrist.

As a result, he was able to catch it without being physically overpowered. He couldn't hold it for long though, or his enemy would just jerk away and hit him with that massive physical ability. So, Enma just carved his blade across his enemy's neck, aiming to decapitate while the two of them were so close together. With that distance, and with Enma's power behind it, there was no way that it wouldn't make it through. And, with that speed of his, there was no way that it wouldn't hit. The speed difference was too high. Enma's blade was easily just going to decapitate the Arrancar, just like that. Of course, Enma was the perfect opponent for weak enemies that relied purely on physical strength and the like. The only way to defeat Enma was with skill. Only powerful, incredibly skilled enemies could do so. And even then, it was a real chore.

Enma's Remaining Reiatsu: 2500 Reiatsu

The Arrancar's howl of pain was cut short as his head was severed from his body. His head landed several feet away, amidst a pile of rubble. The body of the Arrancar fell to a heap, bleeding from the several wounds until his body got cold.

The Rukongai was quite ... a bit too quite. A piece of rubble fell off a nearby house. A scream was heard in the distance. Nothing more. Suddenly, a house exploded in front of Enma. And out from the wreckage stepped ... a red Mr. Manhatten? That's right. A Failure. A failure who's Spiritual Pressure was "fire." Get too close to this man, and you'd get burned severely. He walked towards Enma - but naked - and laughed, a long, drawn out wicked laugh laugh, obviously mocking the little captain. Steam was coming off him and his eyes were a deep black. He was easily over 10 feet tall and was built along the lines of a Gate Guardian. However, the cunning look in his eyes was smart ... scary smart, liking into the eyes of a fox.

So little Captain! You killed the tiny Arrancar! Congratulations! However, little man, I won't be as easy. He laughed again, his face twisted into a unrecognizable shape by his smile. He pointed his pointer finger at Enma. Hado #4: Byakurai Pale Lightning. A single, concentrated bolt of lighting shot out of his finger, headed directly towards Enma. He laughed again. It was a weak shot, obviously used just to test the Captain's defenses.

A Failure? Enma had heard of these guys. He'd fought a few the first time they'd invaded the Seireitei. From his knowledge, they all had the same abilities. They could utilize general techniques from all the races, and they controlled large floods of reiatsu. The floods usually had a single property. The easy way to kill a Failure was to land one good hit. If that hit made it through, then it was a piece of cake since the Failure would explode a few seconds later. It was dangerous due to the explosion, though, so one had to be good at getting distance immediately after. Their floods were easy enough to defend against. Usually the reiatsu strength was massive, but nothing special in Enma's book. The best way to stop it was just to land a single hit on the Failure and ignore everything else, causing the Failure to explode. Doing it from a distance was best. That way the Failure couldn't find a way to latch on and stop escape.

There should be an easy way around this. I experienced it in the last battle. An unblockable attack. Releasing is out of the question if I intend to defeat this enemy and maintain stamina for others. Enma stepped to the side quickly as his enemy aimed a finger. From stepping to the side, he vanished in a blur of speed. He was at an equal speed with his enemy, sure. But, that meant he could screw up his enemy's aim. With a single movement, Enma moved five meters behind his enemy. This meant that when the byakurai fired out, there was no time to redirect it to hit Enma. He was already moving away after getting behind the Failure. Of course, this enemy wouldn't have a problem following Enma. The problem would be in getting byakurai to hit, which it wouldn't. On second thought, I have my ways to maintain stamina. May as well just release.

"Prepare to see a power unlike anything you've never seen before!" Enma declared. He was ten meters away from the Failure now, in front of him, facing him. His sword instantly glowed, transfiguring into a golden staff. "Illuminate, Tomoshibi." Enma said. He slammed the butt of the staff into the ground. It had an odd circle at the top to mark the head. Inside of the hollow circular metal piece was a golden flame, small, but burning. When he slammed the staff butt into the ground, the flame changed to a black color instantly. A black circle of light and energy formed in front of Enma. Inside the circle was a triangle with a circle in it. Surrounding the triangle, runes and glyphs of all sorts of symbolic meanings. A black column of reiatsu flew out, straight at the Failure. It was fast! The black beam simply continued out, heading straight towards the enemy.

The Failure laughed his mocking laugh again. Very good, Soul Reaper! He said as Enma dodged. Why did you release, little Captain!? Afraid for your life?He laughed again and held out his hand flat, straight up. "Bakudo #81: Danku - Splitting Void." A red tinted rectangular wall appeared directly in front of this Failure, stopping the pillar of Rietsu in it's tracks. He laughed again. Very good, little Captain! You have earned my name. The name is Kokkaku (koh-kah-koo) Numarsatra (Noo-mar-sar-stra). And you're Little Captain?

He laughed again. He held the flat of his hand out to Enma. Hado #32: Oukasen A strong blast of yellow spiritual energy flew towards Enma; with his Reitsu strength, it should prove to be quite damaging.

KOKKAKU NUMARSATRA'S REMAINING REIATSU: 2275/3000

[Enma, Lord of Hades]

"It's in my nature to show off. That's a flaw of mine." Enma said. "Not that you'll live beyond this attack to see further proof of that." The beam hit Danku, and Danku suddenly shattered. No, not shattered. That was what would happen if it was broken. It dissolved, vanishing instantly as if something had consumed it and turned it to less than ash, erased it from existence even. The blast hit Kokkaku dead on, and continued eating away at him. He couldn't get away anymore. The blast got through his defense, so he was done. His Kido couldn't even be cast because of a sudden pain that was forced through his body. Even if the Hado had been cast, the blast was large enough to simply destroy that too before it even shot out. Just like the Failure's body. It was eaten away until nothing remained. It didn't disintegrate. It simply vanished. It took a few seconds, sure, but it was destroyed completely, as if it had never existed. Not even the smallest traces of ash or dust could be found. But, while Kokkaku was in the process of being destroyed, Enma smiled from behind his bandanna.

He didn't grace the enemy with an explanation. There was no need to state his power out loud. But, Enma knew. His Zanpakuto Tomoshibi's power lay in four different flame types. By jamming the butt of his staff onto the ground, Enma changed the flame type. Each flame had two properties. The staff was able to create magic based attacks, meaning attacks that appeared to be arcane sorcery. He created physical weapons or beams, or even shields, using magic circles generated by his staff. The properties of these attacks and defenses varied based on the flame. The two properties of the black flame were 'Annihilation' and 'Eternity.' Attacks from the black flame could survive eternally, bracing any defense, carving through it no matter how much of it there was, and taking any beating and continuing despite this. Annihilation allowed it to destroy anything in its path. The blast destroyed everything. Defenses, enemies, etc. The only way to avoid death was to dodge.

The other flames had potential to be blocked, depending on how one did it for each flame, but the black flame was Enma's strongest flame. It was this power that had given him the title 'Lord of Hades.' It was part of what had given him the secondary title 'The Devil.' He was strong, and this black flame was far beyond the Failure Kokkaku's power, clearly. Enma was a Captain. Someone like this posed no threat to him at all. With that done, he disappeared, heading off to the source of the scream. While doing this, he exhaled. "Someone with no control over their own power cannot defeat a Gotei Captain. Rest in peace." He muttered. Enma continued forwards, towards whoever had screamed, towards whatever had screamed. He kept his senses peeled, ready to react in a single instant at any disturbance. He kept his Shikai active. There was no need to shut it off, after all.

At the source of the scream

No spiritual pressures could be sensed. However, an evil laugh, coupled with scared screams, echoed through the remains of District 56. All the screams were suddenly cut short. The evil laugh echoed again.

Suddenly, the wall started moving?! No, an invisible creature was moving on the wall. It laughed coldly. You will make the perfect meal. It spat something at Enma; it was bright green and slimy.

Enma stood in place as he arrived. He couldn't sense anything, but he heard the screams and laughter, and he heard the voice. He noticed the wall moving, shimmering even. An invisible enemy? No, total invisibility wouldn't have the shimmering of the wall. Transparent? Something like that. Partially invisible, but not completely. Enough that Enma would have a hard time locating the enemy. But, it wasn't a very big deal. District 56 was a middle class area for the most part. Locating this enemy wouldn't be too hard. Enma slammed the butt of his staff into the ground, and the flame turned red. Instantly, another magic circle like the one he'd formed earlier materialized. The difference was that this one was red, and what formed wasn't a beam, but a circular shield in front of him that was identical to the circle, just bigger. Whatever was heading for his shield hit, and slid off. Within seconds, it evaporated, and disintegrated.

The two properties of the red flame were 'Disintegration' and 'Solidity.' As a result, defenses with the red flame were dead solid. They couldn't be broken. Not without a massive effort and a massive attack. This was good. Disintegration meant that solids coming into contact would turn to ash. Essentially it meant that if Enma used an attack with the red flame, he could turn anything hit to ash. It was something that killed instantly. While not as effective as the black flame that destroyed everything in its path, the red had its uses. Now, the creature had made several mistakes. First, the laughing and talking. Enma had locked on from the start to the general location. He'd memorized the trajectory of where the beast was going. When the wall shimmered and the spit flew out, he knew how fast the beast had moved, and the direction in which it was going. He knew where it would be, the trajectory.

He could destroy it by targeting the general area with an attack. He slammed the butt of his staff onto the ground, and the flame turned gold again. A magic circle formed in front of the staff, and a large wave rushed out towards a place near where the shimmering had been. It looked like wave of energy. Anything within around thirty feet of where the beast had been was in range of the attack. Enma didn't see dodging as possible. Though the creature was fast, he'd struck out at a destination near the shimmering point, not actually there. It was in the general trajectory. The enemy certainly would not be able to evade this attack. Which left one option. Blocking. Blocking the attack. Enma didn't have any intentions of letting the Hason live very long. He didn't like low level enemies coming after him. If an enemy was going to attack him, it should be high level. Defeating weakling after weakling was tedious, though he did do that very often, time and time again. Arrogant creatures always underestimated him.

Enma's Remaining Reiatsu: 2300 Reiatsu

Suddenly, another chuckle came from behind Enma. And another one from the side of him. And another one from the other side. The fire hit the building and burned through; however, no burned carcass remained, nor any remains of bodies. The three Hason ... copies? ... ran around Enma and formed to one, distinct being.

It was obvious now that it was a Chameleon Hason; its two large eyes, the crest on its head, and its reddish hue all gave hints to that. He rolled his eyes in different directions and chuckled menacingly. He suddenly disappeared, as if in a mirage. A slight shimmering could be spotted moving around ... multiple areas?! It appeared his powers had to with Mirages and Camouflage. But that leaves one more ... !

Suddenly, a giant tongue came leaping out of the shadows, covering twice the area of Enma's flames. It was moving insanely fast; the only option was to dodge.

HASON'S REMAINING REIATSU: 2550/3000

[Enma, Lord of Hades]

In his years as a Captain, Enma had encountered numerous enemies. Camouflage based abilities were something he'd already experienced. He knew exactly how to defeat an enemy like this. To take advantage of the surroundings and light to hide and attack was smart for some animals. However, for this beast to believe that it could actually defeat a Captain with such a mundane ability was foolish. There were MANY ways that Enma could defeat this enemy. He figured that he'd give it a show. The tongue had yet to approach. When the debris cleared and this enemy failed to be found, and during the laughter, Enma already knew. He'd have to attack in retaliation. A red magic circle formed in front of his staff. That was when the tongue lashed out. A powerful beam shot out of the circle, stronger than previous beams. This one directly impacted the tongue, but it also blasted Enma backwards.

He'd wanted to use a blade shape or something, but he was too slow. He didn't have time. Therefore, he could only propel himself with the beam in an effort to dodge by continuously moving backwards. In moving backwards, Enma ensured that the tongue had to keep extending to catch up with him, though there was a limit to how far it could extend, meaning that eventually it wouldn't be able to reach him. Not to mention that the beam that propelled him was red, and was heading into the tongue. This meant that if it hit the tongue, it would turn the tongue into ash, disintegrating it. While propelling, Enma touched his foot down on the air ground. By this time, the beam should have already hit or failed depending on how the enemy could react. It was probably impossible to retract the tongue on time, meaning that dodging in some way, or redirecting or something similar, were impossible. It was practically a guaranteed hit on that tongue.

As Enma's foot touched on the air ground, he used Shunpo. He disappeared with that stepping technique. One more disadvantage for the Hason. No stepping techniques. Enma materialized high above it. No matter what, it would see him, even if he didn't see it. Of course, Hollows and Hason could not stand on the 'air ground.' It couldn't reach him. On top of that, it would be unable to attack him shortly. "Change." Enma said, manually changing the color of his flame. It turned purple, and instantly his body began to distort. Giant, evil tentacle, dinosaur, dragon, and other monsters materialized all around Enma, roaring and screaming as a purple beam of energy zig zagged towards the Hason. If it hit, it would burn the Hason. Enma knew where the Hason was because he'd seen the tongue. And he heard the cry of the beast. He had a pinpoint location, and was shooting at it. The beast would no longer be able to see Enma. He was surrounded in the sky by the monsters.

A scream was heard; a demonic, pained scream from the Hason as it's tongue was burnt off. However, before it was consumed entirely, something seemed to ... cancel out the Fire?! Was it possible? It turned out it was. A man stood there, outlined in a red cloak. He was holding a golden broadsword, bad ass I might add. He grinned and tweaked his nose. Leave! He growled at the Hason. It followed his orders without further ado. He turned to face the now-tentacled-and-ready-for-rape Enma. And now, on to our audacious Captain. Enma, or the Lord of Hades. Your abilities are Magic; or, more precisely, Circle Magic. You have learned many, many separate martial arts and weapon styles. You are certainty a force to be reckoned with. He grinned and hefted his sword onto his shoulder. However, so am I.

What appeared to be a giant, snarling dragon made of Enma's own attack shot back at him. The man smiled mercilessly. She stabbed the ground and four pillars rose up, surrounding the man; it seemed his Bakkato main ability was to control the four main elements. He then pushed his finger at Enma. Hado #8: Byakurai Pale Lightning The lightning bolt shot out of his finger; however, the sheer scope and size of the attack was far beyond that of a normal person. He appeared to have mastered this particular Kido; it will be seen what others he might have mastered as well.
