Thread Title: Nowhere is Safe Participants: Scarlet vs Leonie World: Human World Death Setting: Non Death Enabled Rating: R Location: Seiyu in Saitama (Japan) Special Conditions: N/A Circumstances: Scarlet has gone out shopping in Saitama in order to gather up everything she needs she’s gone to Seiyu. Once there she encounters someone that has it out for her without her knowledge.
Shopping shouldn’t be something aggravating nor demanding, how hard was it to just get to a store and collect what he needed in order to live your life easily. Well it seemed no matter what part of the world that was a fantasy. Shopping usually turned into a nightmare with hundreds of frustrating monsters scurrying around doing whatever they can to get in your way. This was how Hikari felt when it came to the subject and why when it was her turn to do the shopping for the house she waited and then went to the largest shopping center nearby in order to get everything all at once.
This was the only way Hikari felt she could accomplish getting everything she and her mother needed for the next two weeks. Putting up with the random low brain activity of people around her was something that she could only handle so much before negativity infests her brain and she begins to wonder if saving these people is worth it. What even she couldn’t understand about her feelings though was how shopping was worse for her than her job. She didn’t like that much either yet it affected her far worse than this stupid situation did. Getting to Seiyu took her a little time, but now she was inside with a cart and could get what she needed fast.
It didn't take long though for her to experience the very things that kept from her shopping on the regular. Simply going through the store wasn't the hardest with occasional someone blocking a walkway or two people having a conversation without any regard for the others trying to gather up everything on their own lists. Things that while minor nearly caused a blood vassal to become visible on Hikari's forehead. Pushing her cart from the end of one ally to the opening was something that she hated especially when she had to do it constantly. A fond reminder of why she hated it though was when a man only a few years older than herself based on his appearance slammed his cart into her own then scoffed at her as if she were the fault.
"It's ok, don't wish for a Holllow. Don't wish for a Hollow. He doesn't deserve it, none of them deserve it."
What Hikari wasn’t aware of though happened to be that she wasn’t alone in the oversized convenience store. A member of the Vandenreich had picked up on her yet she had no clue. Training to sense the signature of others was something she still hadn’t made any progress with, while knowledge about Quincy. . . was limited to the name. A Fullbringer as clueless as the humans she typically saves was near one of the Empire’s soldiers. How would the two interact, how were the others going to fair and what would happen to the produce if a fight occurs?
