Why did he let people do this to him? Was it because it was Aura? Was he just stupid? As Aura grabbed ahold of Luke’s entire face, the man was just confused as to what was going on. Like an inexperienced idiot he had lowered his guard when, in all reality, Aura probably could have crushed his skull right then and there. He felt her fingers lock into position as she clutched his face, prompting him to grab at her wrist right as he was lifted off the ground and hurled like a toy through the air. Luke’s head hit the elevator walls hard, managing to stun him for a second. Vision was blurry with flashing stars painting their way across what he could see like a spectacle of galaxies. ”You fucking idiot.” Luke heard rumbling from within his mind. Before he could recover and react, Aura had already pressed her advantage. She was fast, remarkably fast, and was already on him mere nanoseconds after he hit the wall.
A well-manicured hand was pressed directly into his chest as she simply pushed down into him. Pain erupted from his chest as the metal construction of the elevator gave way to Aura’s pressure, pushing Luke through the floor. His head hurt, his chest hurt, and now his back hurt as he was literally pushed through bending metal into open air. Both Bounts were sent falling into the open elevator shaft. Aura’s opening move was a successful one. Luke hadn’t been expecting her to pull something like this. As rushing air greeted his back, Luke’s vision recovered enough for him to look directly at the woman still on top of him. A small smirk formed on his lips.
Platzen.
Without warning save for a spark of reiatsu inside of him, twenty feet around Luke in all directions suddenly exploded. The sound of shattering ice filled the elevator shaft as Luke Clyburn seemed to suddenly and violently explode into shattering chunks of ice and frost. Or at least everything around him did. Aura, if she was still ontop of Luke, would get violently thrown back into the underside of the elevator. What’s more, she’d find the parts of herself struck by Luke’s explosion covered in ice and frostbite. With distance created between them, Luke simply let himself fall while never taking his eyes off of Aura. Those amber hues of his, illuminated by the use of reiatsu, remained locked on the woman. Watching her, studying her, focused entirely on her. He couldn’t help it. He smiled.
Focusing, Luke gathered together the ambient reishi in the air and pulled it into his body. Aura would see the reishi, manifesting visibly, pulled into Luke’s body. The injuries to his head, his chest, and his back would no longer be a problem as Luke quickly fed on the reishi to regenerate his injuries. The easily recognized ability that all Bount possessed, Immortality Drink. Using ambient reishi in the air and consuming it through his body, Luke was able to heal the damage Aura did to him. He felt refreshed and as good as new, prompting him to smirk up at Aura. So she’s an enhancer type. He thought to himself.
With how many battles Luke had been through at this point, he had come up with terms that helped him break down the variety of fighting styles that existed. Luke broke people down into two categories; Enhancement and Output. Using himself as an example, he would be classified as a Reiatsu Output-type fighter. Someone who’s focus was on reiatsu-based Techniques and Releases and outputting as much power as he could. His reiatsu output was insanely high. Whereas Aura was what he would consider a Reiatsu Enhancer type. Someone who used reiatsu to improve their physical capabilities. Their strength, their speed, their durability, and their senses. A physical powerhouse.
Of course, there were subcategories and different branching paths that existed as well. Aura was more than just an enhancer, based on what Luke was sensing from her. He could feel the sizable volume of reiatsu that she had. Much like he did, Aura was also a deep well of reiatsu. But whereas Aura dominated in the field of strength, Luke was a monster when it came to his reiatsu output. He couldn't help himself from smirking. He felt excited. ”So this is what you want to do, huh?” Luke asked up at her. A memory came to the front of his mind. Both of them, together, in Taka’s club practiced together once. Back when Luke didn’t want to train her at all out of fear of her condition. But now, looking at the woman she was now, Luke couldn’t help but feel excited. Maybe he would have some fun.
”It’s been a long time, Aura, but I’m more than happy to play with you for a bit! Don’t disappoint me like that old hag did!” He shouted up at her before looking over his shoulder to see how much of the elevator shaft remained. His grin widening, Luke decided that things were a little too cramped. His eyes settled on the cables supporting the elevator. While he had come to the club with his sword, he had set it down before his conversation with Eris. The chaos in the room caused by her Doll and his application of Ken caused the weapon to get thrown somewhere and lost in the mess of it all. But it was fine. Luke didn’t need a physical sword.
He stretched out his right hand's fingers as reiatsu collected and was concentrated onto that point. The shadows inside the elevator shaft stretched and pulled themselves towards Luke’s hand, mixing with his teal-colored reiatsu. The mixture came together and formed the exact shape of a katana with a square guard. He might not have had his physical sword, but it was fine, he had this. His Rand der Nacht. Luke swung outwards. Not at Aura, but at the elevator cable. The sword of darkness cut cleanly through the cables, causing a predictable chain of events to occur. The cables either went loose or snapped upwards, freeing the elevator and causing it to begin to fall seconds later. This left Aura pinned between Luke and the falling elevator.
But then the man vanished. A sound similar to a skateboard grinding across a beam echoed through the elevator shaft as Luke, using Schiene, travelled down the remainder of the elevator shaft and out into the open air of the Citadel at the bottom. Grinding to a stop across Air Ground, Luke turned his attention back to the shaft to see what would happen. He was confident that Aura could deal with this. You had better not disappoint me. he thought to himself. Let’s see just how badly you want to go to Soul Society.
Remaining Reiatsu: 7350 / 8000
-100 for Platzen
-150 for Immortality Drink
-300 for Rand der Nacht
-100 for Schiene
{Platzen}
Technique Name: Platzen (lit. ‘Burst’)
Technique Class: 6 - 15 TTP.
Technique Type: Bount Reiatsu.
Usable By: Bount.
Technique Element: Varies.
Technique Cost: 100 Reiatsu.
Description: A custom stepping technique for Bounts with elemental dolls, Platzen allows for an explosive burst from the Bount’s feet upon making a step. This technique propels them at 10x their Speed, similar to a Shinigami’s Shunpō. Upon use, however, a ten-foot area around them will immediately be attacked with an element from their Dolls’ powers. Only one element can be utilized at a time, and these apply basic effects; fire burns, ice will frostbite and freeze, darkness/shadow will make a shadow, et cetera. Proficiency allows the user to either suppress the elemental effects, granting them a quiet stepping technique, or suppress the stepping technique, allowing them to explode outward with elemental damage just by paying the reiatsu cost. Mastery increases the Speed of the step to 12x, and the range of the elemental attack to twenty-feet in all directions.
How to Use: Charge reiatsu into the feet, and jet around.
Drawbacks: Expensive for a 10x stepping technique, until Mastered. Regardless of which version is utilized, this technique always counts against the user’s stepping techniques per post.
Incantation: N/A.

{Immortality Drink}
Technique Name: Immortality Drink
Class: 3
Technique Type: Bount Technique
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects:
This allows them to strengthen their Willpower and rejuvenate their bodies by feeding on the souls of others. This is a technique that all Bount eventually learn to use. Bounts are humans that were plunged into a spirit form. Essentially, they were half killed. Bount are like half human half spirit creatures. Thus, they are not immortals, despite having the power of spirits. As a result, Bount developed a power to sustain immortality for themselves. This allows them to either feed on dead souls to sustain their immortality, or feed on living souls to sustain it for a longer time. This technique also allows Bount to take in spirit particles to heal their injuries. This technique counts as Class 3 for learning purposes, though its various uses vary in Class.
How to use technique:
It is necessary to bite the victim to suck in their soul. If the spirit particle effect is used, simply release Reiatsu and have it suck in spirit particles. The Class of this technique depends on the extent of the usage. Sucking in a dead soul is Class 3. Sucking in a living soul is Class 2. Sucking in weak dead souls (as the majority of Bounts do) is class 6. Weak souls can be a child's soul or a young girl's soul. Healing injuries is where the other classes are used. Healing slashes and whatnot, or injuries less severe than that, is class 4. Healing stabs and impaling is class 3. Healing severed body parts and whatnot is class 2. Regenerating organs (though this does not include the heart or brain, as they cannot be regenerated) is Class 1.

{Rand der Nacht}
Technique Name: Rand der Nacht (lit. ‘Edge of Night’)
Technique Class: 2 - 180 TTP.
Technique Type: Bount Reiatsu.
Usable By: Bount.
Technique Element: Shadow.
Technique Cost: 300 Reiatsu to create, & 100 Reiatsu/post to maintain.
Description: Much as the name of this technique implies, Rand der Nacht allows the user to manifest a weapon pseudo-solid shadow. Generating from their hand, before stretching out into a shape that either compliments any Weapon Skill they have, or taking a specified shape chosen upon taking the technique, this weapon will always take this form. This shadow weapon possesses a durability equal to 2x the users Reiatsu Strength. If a projectile weapon is created, projectiles fired cost 50 Reiatsu per, and fly at 800 Speed. Mastery allows for the creation of two identical weapons for one cast of the technique, reduces the cost of these projectiles down to 25 Reiatsu per, and allows for the creation of one more type of weapon, chosen upon attaining Mastery.
Being a predatory weapon of choice for Bounts that wish to hunt stronger prey, Rand der Nacht comes with a rather nasty effect to those that are struck. Upon contact, those hit with this shadowy weapon will find that a very minuscule amount of damage is dealt to them. What would normally be huge slashes are no more than small nicks. Deep bullet holes are instead bruises that barely register. Those with more than one Rank in Pain Tolerance won’t even register they were struck. Instead, each strike from this weapon will drop the target’s Speed and Instinct by 5%, capping at 25%/50%/75%, depending on the stage of Mastery this user has this technique at, as shadows wrap around and bind the target, slowing their movements and reactive capabilities.
How to Use: Manifest a weapon of choice.
Drawbacks: While certainly potent, Rand der Nacht has its drawbacks. For one, this technique requires quite an amount of focus, limiting the user’s capability to summon their Dolls; no more than two dolls can be manifested at any given time while this technique is active. The statistical debilitations from this technique last for five posts before they’re automatically cleansed. Every subsequent attack with Rand der Nacht will reset this timer. Someone can immediately end the effects of this technique on them by taking a second to rip the shadows from their body at no cost, but doing so without being in a safe location can immediately put them in harm’s way.

{Schiene}
Technique Name: Schiene (Rail)
Class: 4
Technique Type: Bount Technique
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects:
Schiene allows the user to move from one place to another by gathering Reiatsu particles under their feet and connecting it to Reiatsu at a location that the user wishes to go to. The user then rides the invisible path of Reiatsu connected between the two, until they reach their destination. Initially, this technique can only be used to travel in straight lines, allowing the user to move at 6x Speed from the first point to the next. At mastery, this straight-line movement increases to 7x Speed. However, at mastery, another trick becomes available; at this point, a Bount can create curved rails rather than straight lines. While they cannot move at sharp ninety-degree turns, they can gradually curve up to a maximum of that full ninety degrees when traveling from one point to the next. Because curved paths require a little more focus to maneuver along, speed is reduced to 5x along these curved paths in exchange for versatility of greater movement range. A straight-line rail costs 50 Reiatsu per use, while a curved rail costs 100 Reiatsu to use.
Finally, this technique is modified further by the True Bount technique Vok Sheit, which gives the user a greater mastery of the manipulation of spiritual particles. This technique, if active while Schiene is being used, increases the movement speed of Schiene by 2x for each different method of movement (8x for non-mastered straight-line, 9x for mastered straight-line, and 7x for curved). Additionally, this technique does not take up a technique slot.
How to use technique:
The user must first create a platform of Reiatsu under their feet and then think of where they want to go, which is where the platform of Reiatsu will connect to. From there, they ride the platform of Reiatsu to its new location.
Drawback:
The drawback to this technique is that the user must stick to the path of reiatsu that they created. They cannot deter from it at all, and at lower levels this leaves them open and their attacks able to be easily tracked since they move in a straight line. As they grow more proficient with this technique, they are harder to track.
