Circumstances: Shio detects a mysterious signature belonging to a Vandenreich on a mission that she's not particularly happy about. Violence ensues.

"Never!" A Quincy shouted, "you're fucking insane if you think I'm going to swear fealty to-" His words were immediately cut off, left unable to say much of anything. As the man collapsed dead, slashed across the chest with a blade wielded by a Vandenreich, the others looked on in abject horror.

"Like I had said," Hiyori responded curtly, "violence is not my prerogative. I will enforce if necessary - as you can see here - but I'd rather the lot of you are simply brought into the light. There's no need for this... this bloodshed." As she finished speaking, Hiyori flicked the blood clean from her sword, sheathing it in turn. She was looking to enact that same force again, and wanted to do what she could to make that as clear as possible.

"Go to hell, Vandenreich!" A woman in the back shouted, "you aren't welcome here! We will never serve some dog like the one that leads you lot!" These harsh words prompted a sigh from Hiyori. There was no need for them to be so cruel! Though, it seemed that there was very little a choice on her next course of action, as much as she wished there was.

Thankfully, blood proved difficult to stain her uniform. And, good thing too; especially after that little shitshow that had just occurred. She wasn't exactly in a mood to clean her uniform. Not while she still had a number of these Gemischt encampments to convert or cull. Such was unfortunately her life as a Captain Supervisor; well, at least for the time. She'd been planning a rather extravagant attack sometime in the future, but that wasn't to come for a little while. Not without allies, first. And this was the first step toward that.

{Class 6 - Arrow Form - 神剣 - Shinken (lit. 'Divine Sword')}
The first of Hiyori's Bow Release properties, Shinken allows Hiyori to transform the arrows she fires into katana. This is an opt-in ability, and need not be activated with each firing of her bow. Upon activation of this property, two of these katana-arrows form immediately on Hiyori's hip at a Class equal to her own, for no cost. Each katana fired after that costs an additional 10 reiatsu per Class of the arrow. When this property is deactivated, all but the two katana on Hiyori's hip will revert to normal arrows.
