"Wohoo!" The Foxgirl shouted in her room, rummaging through her belongings and whatnot to make sure she was properly packed. In truth, today had been a special day for her! It'd certainly taken quite a bit, but she'd gotten her first actual mission since she joined the Gotei! The girl figured that interacting with Captains and Vice Captains as often as she did would've eventually gotten her a bit of recognition; perhaps she was right?
Ultimately, it was difficult to say. She didn't exactly have the best sense when it came to those kinds of social matters, but in truth that wasn't something that really mattered at the moment! What mattered was that this mission went well, and that she'd accomplish her goals to the best of her ability! After all, just what was she going to do otherwise? She was going to make the most of this.
Slinging a light bag over her shoulder, and making sure her "Zanpakutō" was stowed away neatly within her sheathe, she felt it was time to make the trek out to the further districts! There truly was no time to waste on the matter, and she certainly wasn't going to try to. "See ya, Shiro! I'll be back later!" She called out, hoping her favorite squadmate would've heard her.
Spending her afternoon trekking through the Rukongai wasn't exactly something that Chika found as "boring" as most folks did. After all, there were quite a number of people to help along the way! Folks that had gone without any kind of food, supplies, or really anything else that they might've needed. Where she could, Chika was more than glad to help where she could, even if it meant running a little low on the supplies she'd brought herself. Still, though, she was glad to help where she could.
Eventually, as she made her way to the further out districts, Chika found a rather... odd occurrence. It seemed that there were no hollows of any kind in sight. Perhaps someone else took care of them? She thought to herself. In truth, it sounded rather reasonable given she wasn't exactly the most apt Shinigami out there, but for someone else to get her mission like that? It just didn't seem right. No, she'd need to do what she could to figure this out! Taking a deep breath, and pressing onward, Chika began to head passed the Rukongai and into the wilds that surrounded Soul Society. Perhaps she'd find what she was looking for there?
{Level 7: Lucid Dreaming} Despite being a released stage, Lucid Dreaming isn't technically part of Chika's "release", so to speak. Serving as the black sheep of Yabureta Yume, Lucid Dreaming doesn't actually give Chika any powers. Instead, the activation of Lucid Dreaming simply allows Chika to use Yabureta Yume to cut with her Spiritual Pressure, and suppresses the Bakkōtō's specific Reiatsu Signature. Note that this doesn't suppress Chika's Shinigami signature, but merely hides the fact that the girl is, in fact, a Bakkōtō-wielder. Those that have an amount of Energy Sensory greater than her Spiritual Pressure will be able to see through this illusory dream, but will not be able to tell that Yabureta Yume is a Bakkōtō from just that; an amount of Energy Sensory to be able to read surface thoughts is still required to do so, provided they still have more than her Spiritual Pressure.
Given this stage does not count as a release, Chika is still subject to cutback while wielding Yabureta Yume, and is unable to benefit as though her Bakkōtō had been released, preventing the Life Force to Reiatsu Strength transfer, among other beneficial effects. In return however, releasing this stage costs no Reiatsu or Life Force in order to do, seeing as it's simply giving up a stage of release for little combative effect.
Lugging two large bucks over her shoulder, was Zadora herself. And for once she was by herself in the forest near the Rukon district. After traveling with Rafael to the Rukon district to make trades, she offered to go herself to allow Rafael time to himself and of course allow herself to venture out by herself. Plus, she enjoyed being out in the forest as she enjoyed the gentle sounds of the nature that surrounded her. Thus, here she was in the forest just on the outskirts of the district and preparing herself to step foot into the Rukon district.
“I’ll go to the meat trader and trade the two bucks for some money... Then get…” The tall white tigress muttered to herself as she thought over what either she needed, or the pack needed. “Coffee grounds. Definitely coffee grounds. I'm getting low on some seasonings. Rafael wants more potatoes, and my garden did not produce plenty of them. Maybe I can find some more seeds to plant?” She questioned herself as she went over her little list mentally, so her trip won't take forever.
But something seemed to cause her to pause. Her rounded striped ears became stiff and began to swivel back and forth at the top of her head. She could barely pick it up, but she could just slightly hear something in the forest. Taking a moment to calm herself. “You're in the forest Zadora... It probably is just another animal. Calm yourself... You are fine.” She spoke, reassuring her nerves as she shook her head then she began to continue her journey through the forest, heading to the Rukon.

As she began her journey into the Wilderness of the Soul Society, Chika found herself taking a deep breath. This was the first time she'd been out this far; more notably, the first time really anyone she'd known had gone out this far! From what she'd known, this place was relatively unexplored, all things considered. Most of the friends she'd made while in Seireitei hadn't known much - if anything - about the Wilderness. If nothing else, this was going to be a good experience for her!
Though, one thing made itself rather apparent. She still had no intel on these Hollows at all! While certainly working to confuse her to no end, it seemed that there wasn't really much of anything that she could do about this. She'd need to get to the bottom of such a report, if nothing else! Steeling herself once more, and pressing onward into the lush wild, she kept a hand resting on her weapon's guard. She didn't quite know what to expect, and fully-prepared herself for an ambush! Hollows had been known to act as such, and so she couldn't let her guard down!
Though, as she walked, some semblance of spiritual capability had made itself present somewhat nearby. As her energy sensing capabilities quickly spotted something nearby, Chika immediately drew her weapon. Her eyes darting about the area, though somewhat upset by the amount of foliage that seemed to almost block her view entirely, she began to quickly slash through the plants that found themselves in her way. As she continued onward, slowly approaching the source of her sensory abilities, she came across a rather unexpected sight.
Noticing the taller tigress making her way through the area, Chika's own ears immediately perked up. "One of the Beast Clan?" She asked herself aloud, spending the time necessary to analyze the individual in front of her. While Chika had encounters with those of the Beast Clan in the past - namely her father, and when she met Raion - she'd never had the opportunity to meet someone that hadn't integrated into Seireitei. Quite a number of thoughts ran through the Shinigami's head, with almost all of which told her to head over and approach.
"H-Hello!" She called out to Zadora, trying to get her attention. She didn't quite know what to say from there-on out, but she knew that she wanted to try to get the opportunity to talk with her. Though, one thing she'd completely forgotten to fix; her blade was still fully-out in the open, held prominently in the Shinigami's hand. How was Zadora going to react? Such remained to be seen.
As Zadora continued on her way to the Rukon district, she readjusted the caresses of the deers that she was carrying over her shoulder. “Rafael does this trip nearly all the time, though I don’t know why unless that man does it just to get himself into trouble..” She muttered softly to herself as she stared ahead of her. At times she glanced around to keep a lookout on her surroundings.
Her ears flicked into a direction as she briefly heard a sound followed by a voice that was calling out to her. Turning her head in the direction to see a woman that had some animal-like features such as ears and a tail but also had a human-like appearance as well. But most of her thoughts flew out the window as her golden colored eyes casted down and stared at the drawn sword.
A deep growl rumbled in the base of her throat. She knew the sound was unwarranted but it was instinctual with a weapon drawn in her direction. Staring at the short woman… well short compared to herself as her long striped tail lashed out to the side in a quick defensive display. “Yes?” She asked but didn’t lift her glaze from the sword that the woman had drawn.
‘Calm yourself… you're not like Rafael’ She thought as she took a breath to calm herself. Knowing that her friend would act like this but she was friendlier than he was. And she just wasn’t looking for trouble like her panther friend always was. “I have no plans for trouble so if you don’t mind putting away the sword?” She asked.
