Golden irises looked around the forest. Lush green leaves hung from the branches of the trees. The whtie tigress traveled down a worn down path. Twigs and rocks pushed to the side to allow her a more easy travel between where her pack resides and the area where she had planted a few seeds in late spring. As she had only planted some fruit and more vegetables in the wide open area that had a small stream as a water source for her to water the plants. Seeing that the trees soon started to thin out, she knew she was close to her little garden.
Zadora paused for a moment as her rounded ears twitched and swiveled at the top of her head, Listening to what was around her before she stepped into the small area. She gave a small smile at the sight of her little garden. Seeing the different colors of green that belonged to her plants. Slowly she started to inspect each plant. Starting her inspection at the line of viny leaves of her grapevine. Knowing that she won’t get any grapes from the plant until the next fall, she still checked to make sure it was still healthy.
Once her inspection on the grapevine was done she moved onto the two small apple trees. Yet another that probably won't give any fruits for the next few years. But she still had planted it. She turned to her vegetable plants. She could already see different peppers hanging. Peppers ranging from simple greens peppers to chiles and jalapenos. Looking over each pepper before determining that they needed a few more days to ripen. And near the peppers were two rounds of green leaves that belong to her potatoes.
She wasn't gonna pull the potatoes yet as she didn't bring anything big enough for her to carry all of them back in. Then a little distance away from the potatoes were different groups of long green stems that belong to her onion plants. She was happy that all of her plants were doing well and some will be soon ready to pick to bring back to her pack. And with the large amount of potatoes, Rafael would have a field day as each plant could come with a large cluster of potatoes. And he was a big potato eater. So she needed a lot of potatoes to feed the massive panther.
With everything looking good, maybe she should go for a hunt? Even though it wasn't her turn to go out and bring back some type of prey.. But since she was already out, it wouldn't hurt to take a walk and hopefully find some prey. If not she will just head back to the den and relax in the river or read up on the cooking book once more. She could try to cure some of the meat and store it away as back up. And maybe think of some items she needed for pickling some of the vegetables that she is growing.
