[ We are the Fifth Division, we are the Kido Specialists of the Gotei. Don’t mistake us for the Kido Corps, we are responsible for the development of kido. Our primary goal is to create new kido to help combat any threat. We will assist all other squads when brute force isn’t enough. Using kido we will make sure that any mission will succeed. As a member of squad five your strongest power is your kido never abuse it. ]
Rules:
Rule 1: Kido was made to help lives not hurt others, use your kido responsibly.
Rule 2: All squad members should be focused on learning or creating new kido for use for the gotei.
Rule 3: Openly recruit all new applicants who possess a good show of talent.
Rule 4: Your squad is your family, protect and help your family.
Rule 5: Never be afraid to ask for help from your squad mates and never refuse helping your fellow squad mates.
Rule 6: There is no such thing as a bad idea for kido.
The world is made of different elements constantly clashing against one another. When it comes to kido this is seen by the form a kido takes, be it fire, lighting, water, earth, or metal each kido has it’s own element that it correlates to the same can be said for all individuals. Each soul of an individual is uniquely tuned to an element. For shingami usually that element shows up when they release their zan, however that isn’t always the case as some shingami have releases that don’t specifically deal with an element or seem to only have bare hints of an elemental affinity. This technique allows for the user to learn about what element their soul has the most affinity with, and by discovering this it allows for that element to shine.
Upon first learning this tech at it’s class seven variant a shingami will learn about what element their soul is most attuned with and will affect the rest of this technique as well as the other elemental techs. Once a shingami has learned this tech at class seven any element kido that is the same as this tech can have it’s cost lowered to that of a class seven technique, however it will fire off as a class seven tech instead of it’s usual class.(if it has enough points to be lowered to class 7) While that doesn’t seem that effective or useful the real strength of this is when learning higher class variants of this technique.
Each kido of the corresponding element will have four points that they can spend on classing up that kido. To class up a tech one must spend the points and can’t class up any higher than what the points allow for. The cost for classing up depends on if they have this technique’s variant learned or not. If the user of this tech hasn’t learned the next class up variant of Elemental discovery then they can't class up. If they have the class variant at learned it costs 4 points, if they have the class variant at proficient it costs 2 point and if they have it mastered it costs 1 points. (Example A shingami only has the class seven variant of this tech learned and classes up byakurai the highest they can go is class 6 as classing up a tech without any investment into the next class costs 4 points.) Classing down a kido costs the same amount of points.
How to use technique:
When the user is using the kido they can choose to use the kido at a higher or lower class
Technique Drawbacks
Firstly a shingami may not class up a kido past the class of kido that they can normally use. All kido that gets classed up or down now has a corresponding cost equal to that new class. When learning an element a shingami is only able to learn one element with this technique. There is no lowering the TTP costs of this tech by learning lower class variants at a higher class. You must pay for every learned, proficient and mastered class variant. Each class variant isn’t able to go past what the previous one is in terms of training, so in order to have class four at mastered class five has to be mastered and for class five to be mastered class six has to be mastered and so on. All class variants are considered one tech. This only works for general kido and not reserved or noble kido. Shark, potato and none are not valid elements Mods also reserve the right to state that other elements are not applicable.

Technique Name: [Elemental Adaptation]
Class: [7-1]
Technique Type: [Spirtual]
Usable By: [Shingami]
Technique Element: [Variable]
Technique Description and Effects :
Simply discovering what Element a shingami has is only the first step to using the element properly, by taking the next step shingami are able to manipulate the elements of other kido into the one that their soul is harmonized with. This process is somewhat similar to that of powering up a kido with Elemental discovery, however it shouldn’t be rushed as elements can be volatile and too much manipulation can backfire on the user if they aren’t properly prepared.
Just like with Elemental Discovery the user is limited to the same element that they have harmonized with in Elemental Discovery. Also similar to Elemental Discovery there are seven class variants that one must learn each class variant allowing the user to change the element of a kido of that class into the one that they have harmonized with. For each class variant that is learned the user can transform the element of kido of that same class into that of the one they currently are attuned with for a cost.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): [Insert Below]
Technique Drawbacks
The first drawback is the cost for changing the element of a tech to another one. At learned the cost to turn an element into another one is 400per kido. At proficient it becomes 200and at mastered the cost is lowered to 100. Just like with Elemental Discovery.
Furthermore your training in this technique can’t exceed that of Elemental Discovery, so if you only have Elemental Discovery at class seven mastered you can only have Elemental Adaptation at class seven mastered. All class variants are considered one tech. This only works for general kido and not reserved or noble kido.

Technique Name: [Elemental Harmony]
Class: [1]
Technique Type: [Spiritual]
Usable By: [Shingami]
Technique Element: [Variable]
Technique Description and Effects:
This is the final step in harmonizing with the element that is attuned to a shingami’s soul. While the first two were all about affecting the kido of a shingami this last tech is all about bringing out the element that is a part of the shingami’s soul in the reflection of a shingami’s soul, their zanpakuto. This allows for a shingami to bring out the fullest potential of the element and use it without kido, doing so requires that the shingami uses their zan as a catalyst to channel the raw power of the element.
Upon first learning this technique a shingami will constantly feel the element wrap around their body. From time to time they can have flashes of that element happen as an aura around them or just whisps of it around them. All of that is cinematic and doesn’t have any actual combat effect or ability. No the primary benefit of learning this tech is that when striking with their zanpakuto the user can force an element to wrap around their weapon to attack with. This is a brief flash and only lasts for a single clash, however it carries the destructive force of the element around their weapon.
Upon getting this technique to proficient something else happens, while in shikai or unreleased for a per post cost of 300 reiatsu the user is able to fully channel the element through their weapon consistently able to augment their release with the element. Adding it ontop of strikes and attacks done in shikai or unreleased. The largest impact however is that the user can use the element ontop of their own release techniques, adding it to them just like the strikes or even augmenting the techs making it based off of the element. Upon mastering this technique the user is able to use the same effect on bankai and the bankai techniques.
How to use technique:
The shingami channels the element from their soul into their zanpakuto.
Technique Drawbacks
The first drawback is the cost of using the technique, it requires 300 a post to keep up. The second is the fact that there are high cost requirements to even learn this technique. To get this tech to learned stage both Elemental Awaking and Elemental Adaptation must be mastered up to class four. To get proficient with this technique the user must have both Elemental Awaking and Elemental Adaptation must be mastered up to class 3 and have the class 2 variant of both of them at proficient. To master this the user must have both Elemental Awaking and Elemental Adaptation must be mastered up to 1. Instead of the normal class one TTP requirements it requires 500 for learning this tech 1000 for getting to Proficant and 1500 for Mastered, resulting in a cost of 3,000 total TTP that must be earned in a dedicated training thread to learn this technique. A individual can learn it in multiple training threads, however they must be dedicated to learning this thread.
