OOC: This is a NDE battle between Jin Yamada, Leader of the Bount, and Hokori Kuchiki, Right hand to the head and Vice captain of the Twelfth Division. It takes place in London, it's raining moderately today and it's cold due to the rain and mist that is covering most of the city. However this battle will take place by the pier of the city to avoid confrantation around the human population. Hokori will have the first post. This thread is considered NDE and has no special conditions save one, win!

Why does this rain make one feel as if their soul is weeping?
That was the thought of a man walking down a brick paved road in the modern day England city of London. Hokori had come here for books and for information. There was always useful pieces of information to be grasped out of the darkness that was chaos and ignorance, this was just how it was. Hokori walked down the street in his gigai, an umbrella being held in his left hand and his right hand in his jacket's side pocket. He only had around an hour and a half before he had to open a Sekaimon and return to the Soul Society. He still had a report on advanced Soul response to extreme spiritual wavelength stress to write for Sayuri-Taicho. Fascinating if only they could turn it into a form of weapon. They could cause Hollows to destabilize and purify in a similar way to the function of the newest Quincy battle form discovered. However one wouldn't be destroying the soul balance in this manner, as the Quincy do.
This was what had been on his mind for the past two hours, so he walked a human bookstore and asked if they had anything synonym to his theory. He was pushed towards what they referred to as a book on the power and uses of EMP. What they referred to an Electromagnetic Pulse, something that would shut down and destroy all of their precious electronics within a certain radius. While it was on the right track, Hokori couldn't theorize the connection between destroying electronic equipment, and destabilizing the reiastu particles that hold hollows together. Hokori also grabbed two more books by his growing favorite author in the past century Edgar Allen Poe. He'd read "The Raven", Now he was reading into "The Tell-Tale Heart." and "The Cask of Amontillado." He found such reads enthralling and devilishly surprising, because you couldn't predict him.
However even while he was looking some kind of sixth sense made him look to the window at the right and wrong moment, depending on the how you looked at it. He passed by the bookstore, his hat on his head and his suite as polished as ever. But Hokori wondered wide-eyed, why he would even be here. It was none other than Jin Yamada, he was supposed to be dead. It seems that Sayuri-Taicho's archives were misinformed, a small smile played on Hokori's lips at the thought of bringing that to his Captain's attention. Although, certain people had thought he had died, he seemed to have a knack for staying alive. But if he was alive, then the information that was stored in the archives was probably outdated. This made Hokori weary but he stuck his hand inside his breast pocket and pulled out a candy popper. Popping one into his mouth his spiritual body separated from his Gigai. He looked back, "Finish the shopping, and meet me under the clock tower at the correct time for departure." Then he turned, and left the building. He hopped onto the older style roofs. Running along to catch up to the Bount, it seemed that he was leading to the dock section of the city.
Hokori was trying to also keep maximum distance so Jin would not sense him. However if he did, he gave no indication so far. They reached the pier and it seemed he was waiting for something, Hokori assumed by the fact he was just waiting there now would be as good a time as any to make his presence know, hopping down and pushing his glasses up onto his nose he spoke. "You know, for someone thought dead for so long by the Soul Society. You sure have a way of keeping yourself alive, against all odds Jin Yamada." He pulled out his zanpakutou. letting the light shimmer off the polished surface, "Well now, Shall i update our archives with your death properly? Or hand you over to Sozen, so we can ferret out the rest of your pathetic race?"
