Alexander crashed his fists, preparing to fight. He was prepared to fight against this guy In any possible manner, to crush him in the name of Shinigami supremacy. But this old bum, who was to become Alexander's first victim in his planned one-man crusade, did something inconceivable! Alexander never thought somebody would have the nerve, courage, or even stupidity to do something like this. His opponent had, obviously. It was something that was not to be forgiven. But what did his opponent do? "Ugly hair." Yes, he committed the sin of insulting Alexander's hair. That alone was a quick start of one way road which ended at execution by Alexander's hand. And that was like it on a good day. And Alexander was already pissed off. He didn't cool down. First Zeich and then Trapster. He was already pissed off. Not too much, but he was. Until now. Now he was angry. Rage was flowing within his soul like a blood through a body. This was something that deserved using his sword. And Alexander indeed found himself drawing his sword. He quickly drew it, and tightened his grip on it. He was prepared to send this son-of-a-bitch-you-dare-call-me-out-for-my-hair-you-stupid-fuck Arrancar right to the only place where he was okay with their existence. Straight to hell.
But Arrancar was not done with his insults. Oh no, he was a stupid brick that had no idea what he was doing right now. "Inferior specimen. Annihilate. Genocide." Alexander's blood was already heated up, but this got it straight to the boiling point. Alexander would have attacked that bastard there and then, that instant, but he was prevented. Obviously, some of that stuff was Release phrase or something, because it unleashed that Arrancar's true power, Ressureccion. The act of releasing lasted for a few seconds, but Alexander couldn't attack in that time window. Simply, force of releasing was too strong even for him to break through and attack. But, those few seconds were more than enough. Alexander already formulated his plan. I will show you what being inferior is. Then he activated one of his less powerful, but more educational techniques. Greater Wild Arts: Soul Fang. That was probably the most refined use of his Reiatsu. And one that Alexander rarely used save for "educational" purpose. It is because of what it did. It reduced opponent's powers. And Alexander usually wanted to fight opponent's at their strongest. But now this was more than a fight. This had to be humiliating experience for his opponent.
The instant the force stopped, and his opponent was done releasing, Alexander took off. With a Shunpo. He didn't even notice who his opponent was His goal was to simply pass near his opponent with his sheer speed. He would do that without any trouble. His speed in Shunpo was great, statistically at 7000. With 250 Instincts and only 400 speed, his opponent would most likely not be react before Alexander just passed by his right side. The fact he also had no sophisticated battle analysis capabilities was also a great disadvantage for his opponent. So, it was s definite as it could be. Alexande would just pass by his opponent with this single Shunpo step, and that would be hard, if not impossible, to avoid. But simple passing his opponent by with Shunpo was not Alexander's goal. He was a master of Shunpo. So he could twist it properly to more suit his needs. His right arm, which was his sword arm, was just kept with the body, bent in elbow completely, so the fist, hand itself was in the height of his shoulder. And it held a sword, which was pointed away from Alexander's body. As he would pass by his opponent, it would catch him, his arm, shoulder, perhaps neck. If Alexander could cut his opponent then it would cut him. In any event, it would do what Soul Fang did, and would reduce his opponent's stats by 10%. And if it didn't cut into his opponent, then this maneuver would, besides reducing opponent's stats, just bend Alexander's trajectory, and slow him down, stopping his momentum. Or something like that. Result? Alexander would find himself behind his opponent, facing him. So he attacked. With speed of his movements almost double than his opponent, he slashed at his back wildly. It was simple diagonal slash. But it would connect more likely than not. And it too would do damage.
Remaining Reiatsu: 2350/3000 (-50 for Shunpo, -600 for Greater Wild Arts: Soul Fang)
OOC: Reposting stats and skills for easier access.
((There are two different techniques. Soul Fang and Spirit Fang. The latter is the stronger of the two that reduces stats by 10% and is Class 2, so that's the one I assume you're using.))
Alexander's step was crazy fast by the standards of most Shinigami. 7000 speed wasn't something you mess around with, but it actually wasn't that far beyond the speed of this Arrancar's own step. Sonido was faster than Shunpo if all other things were equal. In this case, the Shinigami had the advantage, but his speed was far from unfathomable. That was especially true because the Arrancar's instinct was well beyond the human range. With 250 instinct, he was more than able to react to this movement. That was also the case because he did not react to the re-appearance of Alexander, but to his vanishing instead. He wasn't smart, but he knew that people who disappeared tended to either use that to run away or attack him. That was all he needed to know, and no complicated analysis was required for that.
The defense was nothing fancy either. He simply followed up with a step technique of his own, but it would be even greater than Alexander's Shunpo. It was still slower, but not by much. Still, the power of this technique was not the speed, but the power that accompanied that speed. It was Sonido Grande, a step technique that was accompanied by a sonic boom. This sonic boom would leave Alexander in pure agony. His senses were high enough that hearing this sonic boom would be enough to nearly force him to the ground from the pain alone. In fact, the pain was so bad that he would actually be disoriented from the attack. Since he had been flying right at the technique's user with a step technique, avoiding the origin point of the sonic boom was utterly impossible. In fact, the damage was great enough that Alexander's senses were reduced by 50 unless he received some form of healing.
But what of that trajectory? They were flying right at each other at massive speeds, and that was good for neither of them. Luckily for everyone involved, Alexander's aim had been just off to the side of his enemy, and thus a collision was narrowly avoided. However, the clash did not go quite as the Shinigami had planned. His sword struck the Arrancar as they met, but it did not bite into his skin. The reiatsu from Spirit Fang passed through the Hierro easily enough, but the effect couldn't sink in before the laws of physics took over. Sonido Grande was a 15 speed times multiplier. This meant Alexander was traveling at 7000 speed towards an Arrancar traveling at 6000 speed. The contact between blade and body lasted long enough for Spirit Fang to hit, but the interruption sent Alexander careening off at an angle.
Against such a ridiculous collision of speed, it was all the Captain could do to even maintain a hold on his blade. The force of hitting a moving target with a sword at that speed was immense. Alexander lacked the reiatsu strength to simply cut through the Arrancar, so he instead swung around him. The force from an impact at a combined 13000 speed was immense, but both of these men were strong. Alexander's arm would likely be quite sore, but his enemy was not undamaged. His legs suffered a series of small cuts from using such a powerful step, and his power waned slightly from Spirit Fang.
The final outcome of this clash was a mutual hit. Alexander had weakened his foe, but his arm was sore from the hit. On top of that, the shockwave had him in agony so great that he could barely think. There was also the fact that he had ended up a good 20 feet away from the Arrancar because of the mutual usage of step techniques. That wasn't part of his plan either. With all those factors in mind, there was plenty of time for the not-so-old man to turn towards Alexander and say a single word. "Explode." The Captain likely wouldn't hear it though. His ears were damaged from the sonic boom, and the noise itself was dampened by the sound of a bala -- one that seemed almost large enough to be a cero -- firing straight for the Captain's head.
Reiatsu: 600/3000 (-650 when ress ends) -600 Sonido Grande -50 Bala
Adolf Hitler, unranked Arrancar. Soul Spercialist Version 2. Class 1. Speech is firebrick. No, the name isn’t a coincidence. If you ever wondered what happened to Hitler, you finally have your answer. After his death, stricken by grief that he had lost the war, he devolved into a hollow. From there, his indomitable will led him to devour the souls of the thousands of nearby dead soldiers, causing a rapid growth in power. Driven by hatred, his powers awakened at an alarming rate, and he reached Vasto Lorde within an unheard of time; a mere 50 years. His mask was broken via the Hogyoku, but his ideas were deemed too radical to be given a seat among the Espada. On top of that, he’s also far too insane to control. His days are now spent wandering Hueco Mundo in search of a way to satisfy his hatred.
His power is one that is born from that driving hatred. The overall ability itself is basically non-existent. It is merely a unifying theme, and all his power is within his techniques. That theme, of course, is hatred. There are also only two techniques in his release, but that is because each technique is exceptionally powerful.
Hate Spike: Adolf can cause his skin to bulge outwards, creating spikes anywhere on his body. These spikes are limited by the amount of skin on his body. They are hollow, but skin is used to form the shell. Despite their empty nature, piercing them is difficult because they are made of Hierro. Small spikes can be made up to two inches long. These ones can coat the entire body for only 100 reiatsu, or a single one can be made for 25 reiatsu. Medium spikes can be up to a foot long, and cost 200 reiatsu. Only 10 medium spikes can be active at once. Large spikes are up to two meters long, but only 2 can exist at a given time. These ones cost 400 reiatsu.
These spikes are the basest form of his hatred. They are a sharp, primal weapon. Blinded by rage, they are effective with even the most wild attacks, as every edge is a cutting edge. The spikes form as fast as a bala, making them incredibly dangerous in close quarters combat. Additionally, a spike can be fired off as a projectile, but it will only go as fast as a cero. Doing so will leave a patch of vulnerability on Adolf’s skin. It should also be noted that in resurrection, his Hierro extends to his clothes. That doesn’t give him any more surface area to work with, because his clothes are bonded to his skin, but it does mean that they won’t be blown up easily.
Hatred of Wounds: What sucks more than racially inferior specimens winning a war? Getting hurt. So long as Adolf’s healing expertise is 400 and he is in resurrection, he is able to keep his High-Speed Regeneration active regardless of other limitations. This includes abilities that specifically negate healing, or having Hierro active. Neither of those will cease his regeneration. On the downside, if he leaves resurrection and does not meet the requirements to have HSR active, all the wounds it healed will instantly reappear. This will most likely lead to death.
In addition, he also knows Sonido, Sonido Garra, Dorido, Hierro, Bala, Cero, Nunaca Acabar Cero, Cero Armor, Sonido Grande, Luna Paso Cero, Cero Durmiento, Cero Arpia, Cero Transportar, and Cero Oscuras. All techniques are mastered.
Lazy Edit: Your senses aren't reduced. I did goof on that reading. Main purpose was for you to be distracted while dealing with a bala anyway, so nbd. This is why I shouldn't DM for the Arrancar faction xD

OOC: Yeah, sorry for messing up the technique names in my previous post.
Alexander's plan worked like a charm... except it didn't. His opponent was not a dumb-dumb, and he followed suit with his own step technique simultaneously to Alexander. Effects were better than Alexander expected though. They didn't just collide and wreck each other. But nothing ended up as expected save for the fact that Alexander managed to get Spirit Fang to bite his opponent. He was hit by effects of Arrancar's step well enough. his ears were hurting, and his vision was blurry. His arm was sore as hell, because impacting something at speed of 7000 which moves at 6000 is one Hell of a pain. But Alexander did take it all. And he was sent flying after that collision, at angle, stopping at roughly 20 feet from where his opponent was. It was painful, and he ended on one knee, facing his distant opponent. He suffered some damage, that was for sure. But he was still alright. it was nothing. He could keep fighting like this for ages. He grinned. This was life. Fight to death. Kill or be killed. Butcher or be butchered. Slaughter or be slaughtered. Yes! YES! This was what he was born for. Shinigami supremacy doctrine was no the spine of his personality. It was it's soul. But it's spine was... this. Battle and destruction and rage and adrenaline and everything, combined into a single word inside Alexander's mind: FIGHT! There really was not anything in this world that came close to this.
And in reality, Alexander was down on his knee for a split second. He forced himself up with ease. He was always quick to recover from damage. With Damage Recovery of 3, it was even more true. This era lacked a Kenpachi, nobody daring to claim the title since Kenpachi Shousen left Gotei 13 during war with Azeru Cho and his Espada. Alexander was closest to that. Kenpachi, title that strongest Shinigami of each generation claimed, meant "one that doesn't go down, no matter how many times he is cut". And yes, Alexander was mightily close to that with his incredibly Damage Recovery of 3. His body, his soul, his mind. He always got up quickly. He always forced himself up so he could fight. And this time, it was no different. He forced himself up just at the same time of his opponent firing a Bala. Now that was a massive one. Alexander' whose blurry vision was just starting to clear out, still saw it. And opponent's silhouette, too- his vision was still good even though blurry. Alexander was short with time. he had to do something mega fast, or face being hit with that enormous Bala. Judging distance ftom his opponent, he prayed he is closed enough, and vanished. Well, he didn't vanish actually. he couldn't do that. But he did something, and dodged Bala in process.
He used Shukuchi- Ho. Not too fast, but more than fast enough with its 3x boost to speed. While people usually used this to invade their opponent's personal space, Alexander, who was master of it, did something different, as twisting a technique to his needs was easy to him. He moved diagonally forward and left, which removed danger of being hit by Bala. But Alexander was not done. He didn't even end his movement with Shukuchi-Ho, which brought him within only 8 feet of his opponent. He interrupted his own step with a Shunpo, Shunpo which took him straight toward his opponent, straight in front of him, only 3 feet in front of his opponent. And he stabbed forward, initiating a stab using his own full body momentum of abruptly stopping Shunpo, for he did stop it awkwardly, which Alexander knew how to do. He stopped Shunpo in unorthodox way so that momentum was not halted.Momentum was initiated, and with his stab, there was enough of momentum initiated to do what Alexander wanted. Shunpo Karin! That was his plan. With all that speed and momentum and everything, opponent would be caught off guard. And with increased momentum and speed from Shunpo Karin, and fact that opponent's Hierro was weakened by Spirit Fang, Alexander would stab his opponent into his stomach, piercing even his Hierro. As he grinned, it seemed as if he was planning something. But who knew?
Remaining Reiatsu: 2200/3000 (-50 for Shunpo, -100 for Shunpo Karin)
Speed was the focus of this battle right now. Every movement occurred in the blink of an eye, and this battle was going to be over in a hurry if this level of power was kept up. Thanks to his extraordinary resilience, Alexander was able to move in time to avoid the bala. It was a shame he wasn’t using his head too much. His attack was straightforward. Again, he simply charged straight at the Arrancar, and again he would pay for using such a simple tactic. The opponent was weaker due to the Hakuda technique, but the margin wasn’t so great that he was helpless, especially against an attack he’d already seen once. While the Arrancar lacked any complex analytical abilities, reacting to someone who just threw themselves at you could be done on pure instinct.
As soon as Alexander vanished, with Shukuchiki-ho, the Arrancar began to build up reiatsu for a counterattack. The captain was fast though; he was too fast to allow a reaction at the ideal time. It didn’t matter much to the Arrancar though. He was tough enough that he could simply tank most of the punishment from this Shinigami. Instead of reacting mid-movement again, he simply waited for the Shinigami to reappear in front of him. There was no attention paid to defense. He was too battle-crazy to care about such a thing, and his hierro had just deflected this man’s blade once. Surely it would do so again. The response was a stupidly aggressive tactic. Hitler coated every inch of his body in small Hate Spikes and flew straight at his opponent with Sonido.
The result of this could go one of two ways. Alexander could dodge, but it would be rough. Doing so would require him to abandon his attack. That would be nearly impossible since all his momentum was flying forward with the Shunpo Karin. On top of that, he had only the tiniest fraction of a second to react. It might be enough to process that his opponent had disappeared, but taking in the change of appearance and calculating where he was moving in that tiny fraction of a second would be a godlike feat. In the event that he managed to dodge, both parties would be uninjured from this clash. On the other hand, if he followed through with his attack or dodged poorly, the result would be a hell of a lot of pain for everyone involved. The Arrancar would take a blade to the gut. His hierro would reduce the damage from being life-threatening, but it still wasn’t a good wound to have. Alexander had more to lose. If he was hit by the spiky sonido, he would be slammed into the wall behind him, and the entire front of his body would be a mess of holes.
Neither outcome was a great one for the Shinigami. Mutual safety or mutual destruction. Which would he choose?
Reiatsu: 500/3000 (-750 when ress ends) -100 Small Hate Spike on entire body -100 for Sonido (after ress ends)
Post by Alexander Kuma-Hebi on Dec 16, 2013 3:56:10 GMT -5
Alexander did notice that his opponent disappeared with Sonido, taking off. Alexander even deduced what would happen with location of where his opponent would end up. Right at him. His opponent was willing to hit him with a body slam. Alexander indeed had a tight time window to get out of the way. He could have easily used Shukuchi-Ho or Shunpo to evade. But that would defeat the purpose of his entire plan. So he let it pass. And when his brain registered that his opponent was covered in spikes, completely, every inch of his body, it was already too late for dodging. They say that when adrenaline shoots up, and life or death moment approaches, that the world slows down. This is not true. Adrenaline just speeds it up. It never gives you time think more. It just speeds everything up. And pure bestial instincts take over. Same happened here. as they slammed into each other, Alexander's brain already took in and accepted all facts. His left hand, free, he inserted between his and his opponent's face. He poured all of his strength to keep his opponent's face away from his own. He was stronger than Hitler, even if by a bit. he managed to do that. Their joint flight towards a wall behind Alexander was a short one. But also inspiring for Alexander. His opponent might think he had lost it. But Alexander was sane, more than ever in his life. He roared mightily, more like a beast than like a man, so loud, so strong. He was a beast. But there were words in that roar.
"SHIKAI!" And then they hit the wall. Flight in reality took only a split second. Incredible pain pierced Alexander as his opponent, a spikecushion, slammed into him. He was getting pierced by hundreds of those little spikes. But his opponent was stabbed, stuck on his blade. That was all that Alexander needed. He had this one opportunity. And he was firm on taking it. He felt like screaming from pain. Only thing he managed to effectively save was his face, for he had his left hand holding off his opponent's face away from his. But there was no time to scream. Alexander had to to it. He had seconds. He did it faster than that. But, Alexander let it out, a scream of pain and words. Not even a second passed from hitting the wall. "MAJO!" And his plan was complete. His sword transfigured. No longer Alexander wielded his proud navy sword. It transfigured into a shorter one, a katana. But his opponent was still stuck on it. It was stabbed into his opponent's stomach, and that was part of opponent's torso. Alexander grinned. His plan worked! He now only had to desire for this to happen. And he did. He willed it, and his technique activated. It was one of his best, strongest, and most intimidating powers. It was Skewer. Out of main blade of Shikai, which was stuck in his opponent's guts, fifteen blades shoot out, cutting up, skewering opponent's internal organs. And they killed him. Three out of those fifteen were directed at heart. And it got shredded. And... Nobody could survive that.
Alexander won this. His opponent was dead. He retracted Skewer, letting those blades sink into the main one. It was short thing. Merely a second later,he felt pain easing. Spikes retracted, and Alexander felt blood. His blood. He was bleeding from all those wounds. It was not good. But he could take it. He always did. His own Shikai would, in certain conditions, give him more punishment for using it than this gave him. Wounds were shallow. But pain was still there. And blood loss. Alexander clenched his jaw. He had to fight the pain, and release his blade. Leaning even harder on the wall, he pushed with his already injured left arm, as his left hand was pressed against his opponent's face. He pushed with all strength he could muster up. Which was more than enough to release the dead weight from his blade. He pushed it a few feet away, where his opponent's corpse fell, face up. Alexander slid down the wall, into seating position. He was god at taking hits and surviving, but he had to wait a bit. He could just got and run while full of holes. He had to wait a bit for bleeding to stop at least. And that is when Alexander looked at his opponent's face. "Holy shit. Is that... really? HAHAHAHAHAHA! How is now inferior you Nazi bastard?!" As his opponent's Ressureccion faded away, and only a broke corpse, bloodied remained, Alexander laughed. "AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Shikai: 1/10
Remaining Reiatsu: 1700/3000 (-200 for Shikai, -300 for Skewer)
Danger. Pain. Death. All of these surrounded Alexander in that moment. Somehow, he had managed to begin releasing his Zanpakuto even before he hit the wall. The room was large, so it was probably owed to that. He was able to finish releasing only a second after they hit the wall, and his timing couldn’t have been much better. Once they slammed into the wall, neither of them could have gotten away. The Captain, while his strength was impressive, had just slammed into a wall at 6000 speed. His back would be pretty busted up from that impact, but his talent for damage recovery meant he wasn’t going to be hindered by that much at all. His front side, on the other hand, was pretty messed up. The small spikes had hit almost every inch of the front of him. There were gaps between the holes, and they weren’t horribly deep, but a good portion of the skin on the front of him had been destroyed completely.
If not for his unnatural durability, he would be at risk of bleeding out. Luckily for the Captain, he was a very tough son of a bitch. There was basically no chance of an average person surviving this encounter, and even Alexander had come uncomfortably close to death. His technique had been fatal, but all the small spikes had converted into a single large one on his opponent’s chest. It was only through sheer dumb luck that he had been stopped just before the spike bit into Alexander’s flesh. Had the attack gone through, the Captain would no longer have had much of a torso. Even his durability wasn’t high enough to survive a wound like that. Thanks to his skewering of the opponent, he didn’t have to.
The Captain fell, and so did the Arrancar. Well, Alexander only fell to sit down for a moment’s rest. He would live. While he waited though, he got to hear the words of a dying man whose death gave him the clarity of mind he needed to be more eloquent. These were words that would likely stick with him for the rest of his life. ”They say that when two men with great ideals clash, they can sense the ideas of the other. Did you know that, Shinigami? When your blade pierced me, I felt the same burning hatred that is within my body. We both have a cause we believe in. Today, your side won, but there will always be more men like me. You’ve shown me that. Now I can die without regret, because I know that you will carry on my will.
Now, go forth with my blessing, and purify the world.”
With those words spoken, the Arrancar dissolved into ash, leaving nothing but a medal behind. The Captain had been blessed, but if he knew who his opponent was, then it would feel like a curse. One of the most hated men in all of history had died for a second time, and he had named Alexander Kuma-Hebi as his successor. It was unlikely this would change the Captain’s ideals at all, but it might at least give him pause. Was he truly any different than the tyrant he had slain? His enemy didn’t seem to think so. It was a question that had the potential to eat away at Alexander. The battle had been won physically, but claiming a complete victory with that weight placed on his shoulders was challenging.
((Alexander is awarded 300QP, 5,000 Ryo, and a special item: Star of the Grand Iron Cross, for defeating a monster-class enemy. That is the medal left in the ash. Alexander is now to rejoin the main thread, and I will post the second part of this in the main thread later.))
This is a very powerful artifact, but not because of the magical property within it. In fact, that magical property is actually very underwhelming. All it does is make a single sentence believed by all who hear it. That sentence, of course, is predefined. It can be varied slightly, but the meaning will always be the same. Whenever the wearer (or holder) of this item says something along the lines of “I killed Adolf Hitler,” then everyone who hears it will believe that without question. They will simply accept this as fact, without any evidence. They are not required to show this in anyway, but they will believe it deep down. Still, those affected by this item can still choose to say they don’t believe it, but they will be lying. Oddly enough, the wielder of the item likely doesn’t know the property exists, so they might not get much use out of it unless they run around bragging all the time. In order for this property to function, the item must be openly visible and on the wielder’s person.
The second “effect” of this item is not even remotely magical, but it is incredibly powerful in the right hands. So long as this item is visible, it tends to have an effect on all social interactions with those who have even a tiny clue about World War Two or Nazi Germany. It’s a very easy to recognize symbol, and having it will likely make people believe you sympathize with the idea of racial superiority. With some, this may lead to an easy alliance. With others, it may lead to violence. Whoever has this item must certainly be careful about whom they show it to. If the effect is positive though, then this item makes small alliances much easier to form. Only 30 PP is required to form a small alliance if racial superiority is the central reason the alliance is being formed. This has no influence on medium or large alliances, nor does it influence small alliances that aren't all about racial superiority. For Alexander, that basically means it's only useful for alliances with other Shinigami, unless the alliance somehow directly benefits the concept of Shinigami Racial Superiority.
Alexander’s battle had come to a close. His opponent was vanquished, but not without a good deal of injury to himself. Still, the Captain was a tough son of a bitch, and he could press on. He may choose to rest for a bit first, but eventually, he would be ready to leave. A single door had appeared after his foe was vanquished. It led him down a hallway, and up some stairs from there. His journey would seem to take quite some time, but he also was able to complete a good deal of walking around safely. Perhaps his presence was so strong it inspired fear, or perhaps he was simply walking through an abandoned area. It was hard to know, but all good things had to come to an end eventually.
((Baja’s next challenge is being posted by someone else. Marc is a few hundred floors below him, and there’s only one other Arrancar in this canon… so you can guess who it is. Full liberty of exactly when they run into each other, the room it takes place in, and all other details are given to Col. Only thing set in stone is that you’re above floor 800. I will not be posting unless I need to plotkai someone away, or this fight gets messy enough that backup is called for.
Currently, it is Alexander's post. He should give a reaction to Hitler's death and eventually start wandering off towards the throne room. Rio should ambush him at some point along the way, and should describe where exactly he chooses to ambush Alexander, including all the details of the room they are in at the time.))

As his opponent spoke, Alexander listened. And he laughed. He found it majorly amusing. "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!" He couldn't stop it. But as Arrancar dissolved to ash, he stopped, and spoke out: "Well... If your will the extermination of Arrancar race, I will surely carry it out somehow, with or without your blessing. So rot in Hell, NAZI! AHAHAHAHAHA!" To a bystander, i might have even appeared as if Alexander lost it. But he found it majorly amusing. No more, no less. The fact that Nazi leader, man who plunged billions into war and death because of his hatred, was "blessing" him. Alexander had no need for something like that. He was above such man. They were both monsters, each in his own right. But Alexander was above him. He was Shinigami. He won battle and killed Hitler. And... he was British once. "HEHEHE! GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!" He couldn't help it but laugh. Pride was fulfilling for two reasons. He slain Hitler, both in his capacity as a Shinigami, and as a former British citizen. He was content with that. He could sit all day resting, savoring the moment. But he had to go, he was in enemy territory, and being relaxed too much could kill him. Literally. He had to move.
But as he got up to leave, he saw something among the ashes of his dead opponent. It was a glitter, just that. But Alexander spotted it none the less. He approached ashes and crouched next to them. He saw that there was something in the ashes. Taking it and cleaning it from ash with his hands, he saw that it was a medal. One of Hitler's. If it was somebody else, they would have just tossed it. But, it was Alexander. He had a thing for all kinds of trinkets. So he put it in his pocket, to keep it. It might come useful. If nothing else, Alexander could brag that he killed Hitler and show it as a proof to people. And it was a trinket. Alexander's collection could use expansion. Even such infamous trophy would fit in just well. Alexander now needed to figure where to go. Well, there was only one way open, and Alex, while his bleeding was stopped, and he could move with ease, didn't feel like smashing his way through a wall. So he took door that was open. He quickly ascended stairs, and started running through the corridors, his Zanpakuto in hand. It was a light rhythm, so that he wouldn't tire. What was weird was the fact that nobody was in there. He was passing an abandoned area. Or all of his would-be opponents pissed their pants. When will anybody show up?!

At the top of the stairs was a large, circular chamber. This was.... very odd. The room was massive, and measured about two hundred meters in diameter. The ground was coated by a coarse sand, which was spattered with blood. At the far end of the chamber was a large and heavy metal gate made of Seki-Seki stone. In terms of weight, the gate likely weighed in excess of five or six tons, but seemed to be the only way out. The ceiling wasn't especially high compared to the rest of Las Noches. Only about fifty or sixty feet off the ground. Certainly gargantuan by normal standards, but for the fortress of Las Noches, positively tiny. If one was to compare this room to a human world equivalent, one might think of the Colliseum.
Alexander would not have long to ponder this. Approximately 48 seconds after he entered the room, without warning, the ground beneath his feet would explode. Sand would erupt like a geyser from the point he stood on, as something blasted up from under him. The attack had no warning-- any sound from below would have been completely muffled, and whatever was coming through had struck the ceiling from below with so much force that it had cleared through the solid stone floors of the room as effortlessly as one might thrust a spear through a piece of paper.
Alex had excellent senses, and these alone would be what he would have to rely on for his salvation. Swiftly as this thing tore through the floors, there would undoubtedly be the slightest vibrations beneath Alexander's feet as it tore its way through. If he did not move out of the way in the instant he felt that, he'd be hit quite heavily by the form of Rio Demoniogalgo as he erupted from the floor to engage this enemy who had encroached upon his assigned posting.
The Quinta Espada had been aware of the Shinigami invasion long before they had arrived. He had lingered only long enough to witness the captain's arrival. And the sight of a Captain had filled Rio with glee. Perhaps he would find a worthy challenge! The other two were nearly beneath his notice. Refuse that he would clean up after killing the Captain. But ah, the Captain. A Captain of Soul Society might prove a worthy adversary indeed! This one seemed halfway competent, having killed that other arrancar that had stood in his way. Whether his ambush had struck or not, Rio flipped back in the air and landed on the opposite side of the hole in the ground that he had just made, the sand pouring through it.

OOC: Sorry for incredibly long delay. I just lost my muse for this, and coupled with RL obligations... Either way, I apologize, but now lets get to business. As we agreed previously (like eons ago), this thread will be IC used to turn Alexander from Semi Kenpachi to Full Kenpachi. However, to trigger that, Rio needs to beat Alexander up quite a bit. So,cinematic beatup! As we agreed, Rio will beat up Alexander over a course of cinematic posts to trigger the turn, and then we leave cinematics and real combat starts. Therefore, after this post, lets say, two yours and two mine posts of cinematics should be enough. Actually, late edit kicking in. Pie said we have one of yours, and one of mine posts, and that is it. So you better get onto that hitting.
IC: As Alexander ran through this abandoned area of Las Noches, even he was sure that it would ultimately lead him somewhere. Corridors, stairs, hallways, chambers... Everything was empty. It seemed abandoned, but there were no signs of neglect or decay. This wasn't some forgotten derelict area of Las Noches. It obviously had a purpose. Therefore, it was maintained in good shape. What was it though? A transit route? Maybe all these corridors led somewhere important, and numerous Arrancars and Hollows frequented them almost like a highway. Or maybe it was gathering area. Or arena? Alexander pondered on that while he ran. He blitzed through all those rooms and corridors. Until he reached it. End of his road. It was enormous, round chamber. Alexander looked around for a moment or two. Sand. Blood. His last guess might have been right. It was an arena! And on other end of it, there was a huge door. Even from across the room is looked incredibly, unnaturally heavy. Alexander was not sure that even he could move it open, with all his strength. For such door to be here... It meant it led somewhere important. Therefore, it meant he would need to go through that door.
He simply walked though, through this arena of sorts. His step was light, but yet remained firm. He had sis sight on that door. There was just it. He would find a way to open it. If nothing else he would use the power of his Shikai to carve through it. He was pretty confident that it would work, even if everything else would fail, because his Shikai was immensely strong. Yet, Alexander wasn't aware of the danger lurking above immediately after he entered the room. But there was danger. Without any sound, suddenly, sand blasted up, and floor exploded, right where Alexander's feet would have been. It was an ambush. Quite vicious one. It would have hurt Alexander a lot, potentially killing him in his current state, if it hit. If. Alexander dodged that attack, and what he had to thank for his salvation were his incredible senses and his even more incredible instincts. He felt a faint vibration before the floor blew up. His senses were that good to pick even that faint vibration. And his instincts not only incredible, but they were a bit weird too. Alexander could masterfully process non-visual information coming from his senses a bit faster and bit more precisely than visual data. That was another good factor in him actually realizing that his hide was in danger. And final factor that saved him was his speed. He was incredibly fast. He could naturally move at speeds that others couldn't reach on average. Not even his full speed was needed.
No, Alexander just jumped back. He did it at comfortable 600 speed. He didn't need to move faster. He was always fast, and even that wasn't his top speed. He landed gently on his feet about twenty five feet from the place where would-be ambush happened. As sands fell down, Alexander saw silhouette of his opponent first, and then his opponent. He grinned. If his opponent could perform feats like that, and had common sense to ambush him, then it meant than Alexander was up against above-average Arrancar. And he was more than content with that. And if Arrancar would turn out to be Espada, that would be even better. Alexander wanted to fight one head on ever since he stepped into Las Noches. He knew it wouldn't be walk in the park. It would be hard. Especially in his condition, being injured and all. But that is what he got for recklessly trying to end his previous fight quickly, he could have avoided most of injuries if he was a bit more patient. But there was no patience. Alexander was in middle of enemy territory, in middle of war. Patience? Patience means waiting. Waiting is a killer in such situations. This one was no different. Here too, patience was a killer. Without a word, still grinning Alexander charged forward. To see what his opponent was made of. He charged straight towards Rio, at comfortable speed of 300, thrusting his sword in front of him in a fluent stabbing motion. While not exactly the tactical masterpiece, this was an attack with clear cut out purpose. Test his opponent's mettle, and quickly discern what Alexander has in front of himself, an Espada or just a weakling. Espada could easily deal with such attack. So, what was his opponent?
Shikai: 2/10
Remaining Reiatsu: 1700/3000
OOC: Well, setup done. Time for beating Alex! Get on with it!

(ooc: Likewise. Sorry for the delay. Had a paper and two exams today. Reading break was not the break I thought it'd be).
"Good job. If you couldn't even avoid that, you'd be worthless." Rio remarked, smirking at his opponent. "Am I in the presence of a Captain? Ain't killed one of you before." He commented, cracking his knuckles, and then grinning. Rio boasted a relatively slim build, which suggested a speed fighter, rather than the power fighter that he really was. Something that usually deceived his opponents. "Well. First time for everything, isn't there, shinigami?" He stated. "You better curse whatever gods you worship, for pitting you against me!"
Rio could tell that he was up against a very agile opponent. But he was still slow. Faster than Rio? Sure. But compared to men like Cierro or Lucitide, this man was very slow. And Rio had crushed both of those men with ease. So Alex's speed did not phase him. Of course, the lack of surprise may again have been attributed to the conception that Rio was a speed fighter. Alex may have surmised that because of Rio's lack of surprise it was simply the assumption that Rio was faster. Oh. He was about to be proven terribly, terribly wrong.
As Alex assaulted Rio, Rio noted the fluidity of his thrust. Rio lifted one of the Sai from his belt in answer to Alex's attack. Would Alexander know the nature of the Sai though? Seeming, for all intents and purposes, like a three pointed dagger, many misjudged the sort of weapon a Sai was. Rather than a proper thrusting and stabbing weapon, a Sai was wielded much more like a shield, or cudgel. With one extra, lethal trait, especially effective against swordsmen like Alex.
As Alex attacked, Rio held his Sai handle up, the metal center prong running against his arm. Rio then charged back at Alex, and swept one arm down. The Sai clashed against Alex's blade, easily deflecting it. But then Rio did something that would completely change the nature of the clash. He pulled the Sai up and turned it. Why was this important? Because by doing this, Rio had now trapped Alexander's sword between one of the outside prongs of the Sai and the center prong, essentially locking down the blade! By trapping the sword, Alexander Kuma-Hebi was essentially immobilized if he did not relinquish his weapon! And he might want to do that, because even as Rio trapped his sword, and stepped in, his right arm was snapping forwards in a short, but brutal hook punch to Alexander's ribs. Alexander was strong for a shinigami. But he was not that strong, and a blow from Rio was almost certain to crack, if not break a couple of ribs.
It was also at this point that Rio gave a mighty wrenching motion with the Sai, to attempt to forcibly rip the weapon from Alexander's hand with nothing more than leverage and immense brute strength, intending on sending the sword flying away, out of reach. Ideally while Alexander was focused on the blow crashing into his ribs. Rio was a dangerous enemy for swordsmen, because of his skill at disarming foes. An enemy who relied on their sword would quickly find themselves without a leg to stand on against the furious offensive of Rio Demoniogalgo, the Quinta Espada!
And Alex needed to find that leg to stand on quickly, because more was coming. From the same side as his hook, Rio threw a sudden swift and efficient low kick to slam into Alexander's leg. This one was quick and sacrificed some power for speed. However, given it was still Rio, it would leave a serious bruise right down to the bone, and inhibit that agility he had demonstrated before. And still Rio followed it up, in a relentless, brutal offensive. Now from the left, Rio made a swing with the center prong of his Sai, flipping it into an orthodox grip in a single fluid movement, aiming to smash the metal, baton-like weapon into Alex's hip. The Sai's narrow, but compact shaft amplified Rio's power considerably. This would be no mere break, a blow like this had the potential to completely fragment Alex's hip. Smash clear through it.
But even such a devastating blow was but a distraction. Rio had thus far directed his attacks fairly low. The ribs, leg and hip. Now he instantly shifted to a higher strike. An open hand thrust forwards as Rio lunged into Alex, attempting to grab the Captain by the throat. Clenching the throat tightly, Rio's knee crashed forwards to collide with the same leg Rio had thrown his kick at earlier. The purpose. To cripple Alex's balance, and force him to fall, Rio on top of him. Rio wanted to pin Alex to the ground, so that he could use the hand around Alex's throat to strangle him to death! Alex's sword had been wrestled away from him, Rio was confident that nothing this shinigami could do would force Rio off of him. Rio's face was twisted in a strange combination of wrath, fury and glee. Gleeful, furious wrath. His hatred of Shinigami shone through in this sadistic look of pleasure, but so too did the idea that he was throttling the life out of one. That he could watch Alex writhe and squirm, gasping for breath, until he finally, brutally died, Rio's hand clenched around his throat.

OOC: Bingo! This is exactly what I hoped for, a life or death situation in which Alex will be put under enough pressure to get more power or die to become desperate enough to kill his own Zanpakuto spirit and turn into full Kenpachi. Thank you, you will have my post up tonight.
