Impo was not looking forward to this. His body screamed at him not to go back, to leave his past in the past, and not look back. This was past the point of worrying for him, crossing into becoming a huge problem for the failure. Regardless, he needed to do this, if only because everything they had done for him in the past, helping him grow into the person he was now. That's why he was walking through the empty space through a garganta towards his destination. He had been walking for nearly half an hour now, and starting to grow tired, especially with what he was carrying.
Sensing he had arrived, he opened the other end of the portal, arriving across the street from a building he had gotten to know quite well over the last few years. The Uzaki building, headquarters of Kazura Uzaki, and all those under his employ. He was once one of those people, working hard to keep the world safe from the afterlife. To be honest, he missed it. He sighed, and continued forward, not hiding his presence as he went to enter the building. The young man walked through the building with practiced ease, greeting anyone who still recognised him. He nearly hit the wrong button to the elevator, brining a painful spike of nostalgia, but continued on, eventually reaching the office of his former boss, Kazura, giving the door three polite knocks.

Three polite knocks on his door. If Kazura hadn't been able to sense the overwhelming power that was always coming from Impossible, he might have been surprised at the visit of his former employee. But Impo was a font of ever flowing power, one that the CEO had become vaguely familiar with during his stay in Uzaki Enterprises. Quickly getting up off of his chair at his desk, Kazura hurried to the door to open it and welcome the powerful "fullbringer" inside. "Good to see you, good to see you. Come in. Make yourself comfortable. To what do I owe the visit, Impossible?" Kazura was as friendly as he could be, especially since Impo had been one of his best employees and had just vanished without too much explanation. Maybe now Kazura would get the whole story?
And there he was, Kazura Uzaki. The beacon of hope in this world of evil and corruption. He might not have been the reason the failure had joined his cause, but he was certainly the reason he stayed. It was weird, to be honest, how he managed to keep this group of his going. How he managed to get so many people to join his cause, just under the banner of doing the right thing for the people, was beyond the failure at the moment. Still, as the door opened, he became tense. His instincts flared, warning him of the danger this man possessed to him, should he choose to attack. Regardless of the feeling, he took the invitation inside.
Impo knew he'd have to explain why he left, but he doubted he'd need to explain why he came back. He knew Kazura was a smart man, if only because of the company he ran. He knew it was hard forcing his body to sit down, so he decided to remain standing, albeit leaning against the chair. He tossed what he had been carrying onto the desk of his former boss. It was a large brown sack, that landed with a soft thud. "Fifty thousand ryo." He said, telling him an eerily familiar number. "It's the money that Kitai stole from you." He told him, hopefully telling him what had happened, without actually saying it.

"Fifty thousand ryo. It's the money that Kitai stole from you."
The money that Kitai had stolen... Kazura hadn't been too upset about the money, as it had been a small portion of the spiritual department's funds available to them, but the act of stealing and then leaving had been upsetting to the man who had thought Kitai better than that. Though, to be fair, he must have been blind to have missed that the fullbringer was not as good as he was thought to be. Or at least, he was in less control of himself than Kazura had thought. Impossible had stopped him from starting World War 3 with his Russian Cyborg plot. This was unknown to Kazura, but the act of putting the money on his desk showed a great deal.
It showed that Kitai had either been punished and reprimanded for his crime, or... Kazura didn't even want to think about the alternative. Was the man who had been his employee dead? The man whom he had trained and trained with had gone off the deep end and had plotted to do something terrible? The emotion of it all was hard for the man to take in. Sure, Kitai had been rough around the edges, but was he deserving of that fate? Unsure of what all was going on, still, Kazura took a deep breath in. "Thank you. I suppose that I shouldn't ask how you came about this, since I probably don't want to know. Just tell me one thing. Answer truthfully, please."
A slight pause, to gather his many racing thoughts.
Impo hadn't been expecting Kazura's response to be... grateful? He wasn't sure how to describe. Hopeful trepidation? Nervously grateful? It didn't matter in the end though, the failure failed to respond emotionally, his skin staying a pale white. "Is that how you justify a death? He asked. "He's dead Kazura. He's gone forever, never to return." The former human told him, as blunt as a hammer. "To be perfectly honest, I don't know what he was planning to do, so maybe I saved the people, maybe I robbed them of a better future." That was a complete lie. Impo knew there was nothing good left in Kitai.
From what he had heard from the people he had forced to worked under him, he had showed up, and threatened to kill all of them if they didn't do what he said. It wasn't right, but that was life. "What is safety to you? Is it keeping all the normal humans weak and ignorant of the real dangers out there? Is it to stop anyone who tries to take over the world through brute force? Answer truthfully, please." He asked, testing the Ceo. He wanted to see what the man was made of.

Impossible was blunt. Terribly blunt. Kitai was dead.
Kazura wasn't sure how to feel, so he shut down emotionally and relied on his logic. Impossible responded to his question with more questions that he was to answer truthfully. "Normal humans deserve to have a life without worrying about when a being they cannot even see will kill them. Weak and ignorant? Maybe. But that's what they deserve. As for taking over the world through brute force? Of course those people should be stopped." Kazura felt very strongly about the protection of normal humans and the sheltering of them away from the worries of the spiritual worlds.
While he wouldn't give up his power as a fullbringer to go back to being "weak and ignorant" he still wouldn't wish his existence on anyone. He'd almost died more times than he could remember because of his meddling in the worlds of the spiritual. He had seen Hell itself rise up and try and destroy his town. He had seen monsters attack him for no reason other than they needed to feed. He had seen a monster let loose animals in a zoo and try and absorb the life energy of one of his employees. He had seen all of this, and wouldn't wish it on anyone who wanted to have a normal life. They could then pass peacefully into the Soul Society and be unassuming enough to not be drafted into the dangerous Gotei 13.
So yes, Safety to him was the protection of the weak and ignorant and the stopping of dangerous dictators.

That was how he figured Kazura would answer. He would have found it weird if Kazura had answered any differently. He sighed, realizing he was getting too worked up about this. "I can't agree with that anymore." He told the man. "I want everyone to live as good a life as they can, just the same as you. But you're not doing them any favors keeping them weak." He said, significantly more subdued than before. "What you're doing is giving them fish everyday, when we could be teaching them how to fish for themselves." He told his former boss, looking him dead in the eyes.
"If we taught people how to defend themselves, then the hollows wouldn't be as big of a threat to the living or the dead." He shared his thoughts on the matter. One of the bigger reasons no one had stopped Kitai before was that no one really could. He caused chaos wherever he went, and the cops were powerless to stop him, and weren't able to hold him even if they did. The only reason Impo didn't bring Kitai back to UE was because he wouldn't have been able to do it without Kitai killing him once he caught him. His strength was too much for him to safely try.
Impo took a deep breath. He needed to calm down, this was getting him nowhere fast. Kazura didn't deserve this. "Look, I'm sorry." He said, palming his eyes with both his hands. "It's... this really shook me up. I never wanted to do something like this, I never thought I would have to... kill someone." He crossed his hands, and placed them in his lap. He had a haunted look about him. "I always thought I was going to be strong enough to just... overcome anything I needed to." He turned his hand face up, before a cero came to life in his palm.
"I can hear even the softest whispers for far away. I can react to things with unreal speeds, dodging whatever attacks me. And I have so much raw power, that I thought I could just overwhelm people without killing them." He let the cero disperse and fade away back into nothing. "But Kitai wasn't like that. He wasn't attacking people directly. He could, but he wasn't. He was giving them weapons, so they could attack each other. He was giving them the power to destroy themselves. I saw the weapons, the robot limbs, the guns. He was so caught up in his hate, that he wanted everyone to suffer."
Impo sighed, sitting up straight, but not looking at his former boss. "He wasn't the first, and he certainly won't be the last. And for every normal person I see, I almost get jealous. And not just because of this." He says, folding up his glowing blue hand, tinted with slivers of green. "They might not have exciting lives, they might be stuck in the mundane, but at least they don't have to deal with this bull sh#t. They get to go along, live their lives, and pretend that everything isn't gonna just come crashing down on their heads, that some random a$$hole with a bone to pick with the world for something that happened to them isn't all it takes to send everyone's lives down the sh#tter."
"I keep thinking, 'maybe if we taught everyone how to do what we do, something this won't have to happen again'." Impo looked almost depressed. "But my mind keeps telling me that doing that would be exactly what Kitai would want. The people would tear themselves apart with their now power. The strong would try to rule, and those in power would come down harder on everyone, not just the weak." He palmed his eyes again, slouching down in his chair. "The hollows would rain down on cities from the sudden surge in spiritual power, causing the shinigami to either flood into Earth to try and stop them, or leave us for dead. Regardless, the humans would resent or envy them, and attack them for their blades and call it a necessary evil, causing a three sided war!" He yelled.
Impo was shaking at this point, not used to being this confused, this out of his depths. He clearly didn't know what to do in this situation, or if he should be doing anything at all. He was young, and very inexperienced with such large scale attacks. He had powers, more power than a lot of people, but he never really used it. He tried to avoid fighting unless it was necessary. "Why!? I never wanted to kill someone Kazura! What's the point!? How selfish do you need to be to just... F#CK!" To meet someone who was unable to be swayed away from evil, and couldn't be contained, there had been only one option for him. And it hurt him immensely, even if he did hate the man.

Kazura wasn't really sure what to do at this point. Impossible had his views, Kazura had his own. They weren't at odds, but they were definitely two different sides of the same coin. While Kazura voted for not acting, Impossible voted for militant action. That is, if Kazura was understanding correctly. And while Kazura had the science, the technology, the capability to give every human awareness of the spiritual world and the methods for which to defend themselves, he strongly doubted that the Soul Society wouldn't get involved. Wolf, too, would object in the highest degree, as killing hollows without Zanpakutou was either useless or detrimental to the soul cycle. Something that would bring wrath down upon the human world... Something Kazura was not about to have happen.
But Impossible brought up good points. And before Kazura could respond to them, the other man broke down mentally, seeming to be exhausted emotionally from the events that had transpired. Caught off guard, now Kazura really wasn't sure what to do at all. "I... don't know. I don't think it selfish to have stopped evil from growing, that's for sure. A three sided war would have been devastating to our world. We here at Uzaki Enterprises are doing everything in our power to prevent that sort of thing. And for me to have been so blind as to not have seen Kitai's potential for that... level of evil... I'm relieved that I had an employee like you looking out for the world in such a manner. Thank you, Impossible. That's all I have to say in response..."

Impo let out a tired sigh. There wasn't anything Kazura could do about this, not anymore. It was a shame that it happened, but that wasn't the point anymore. Impo couldn't really think of one either. He was basically trying to think of a way to rid the world of evil, and refusing to see the truth. There was no way to root out evil. Everyone had the potential for it, even Kazura or Impo himself. He was still young, not used to the mental strain killing to inflict on a person. It was eating away at him, that he killed someone so... easily, he supposed.
He was powerful, with a high potential for destruction. He could destroy so much with his power, and he guessed that Kazura was much the same. It dawned on him just how strong he was. Just... Impo sighed, before getting to his feet. He looked at Kazura with a blank look at his response. He felt a bit of envy for the human. He had the determination and charisma to band together so many under his banner, something Impo knew he would never have. But... maybe he could try. "You couldn't have known. Kitai was a snake that hid under your nose. I thank you for all that you've done for me. Just... Keep doing your best to protect anyone you can, and I'll do the same." He turned around, and left the office. "Goodbye Kazura, I doubt we'll meet again. Live well." And as he closed the door, Kazura would feel a garganta briefly open, before closing.
