The Underworld
In a world of rules and order, there are always those who live beyond the law. They live their lives under the nose of authority, festering and cultivating like bacteria. And just like bacteria, each attempt to wipe these individuals out has produced a stronger, more menacing strain. The Underworld refers to the various organizations of thugs and criminals who control the corners of Soul Society, the Human World, and even Hueco Mundo. These groups have clashed with the Gotei 13, Las Noches, and even Xcution, yet they continue to thrive. It is in this thread that you will be introduced to the worst of the worst - the organizations that control the black market.

Shanks and Belcher, Co.
Description: Shanks and Belcher, Co. (better known as Seb) is one of the more dominant criminal powers in the Underworld. This organization is responsible for the manufacturing of nearly half of all illegal weapons circulating throughout the Black Market. The majority of artificial zanpakuto are produced in Seb's facilities, although Seb relies on third parties for the distribution of its products. While this organization primarily concerns itself with the manufacturing of weapons, it is also known for the might of its executives. Occasionally, Seb will lease its members out as mercenary forces, a secondary means of income for the powerful group.
Location: Seb's facilities are spread across the Human World, hidden in a variety of settings. Recently, during the appearance of in enslaved hollow, Seb's enemies discovered the location of its headquarters in Madagascar. Since their attack, Seb has relocated to a different stronghold that has yet to be identified by non-members.

Diamond Blue
Description: Although black market items are a great source of profit for many of these criminal syndicates, their market is limited to other criminals. Diamond Blue built its Empire on a service in endless demand: smuggling. Many of the aristocrats in the Rukongai engage in less-than-legal activity, and to avoid detection by Seireitei, they rely on Diamond Blue for covert transportation. Furthermore, black market item manufacturers employ Diamond Blue for the distribution of their own items. Diamond Blue is responsible for the creation of the majority of black market trading hubs in both Soul Society and the Human World.
Location: It is unclear which world Diamond Blue's leadership resides, but the organization is quite active across both Soul Society and the Human World. Diamond Blue's means of inter-dimensional transportation and the coordinates of its facilities are well-kept secrets, but active members in the organization have been cited and reported while interacting with Diamond Blue's clients.

Black Magic
Description: When it comes to raw power, Black Magic is severely lacking compared to the other major illegal organizations. However, they are at the epicenter of criminal dealings. Thousands of lives are dependent on Black Magic's resources, and for that reason, they have been intentionally overlooked by authorities such as the Gotei 13, Xcution, and Las Noches. Black Magic is, hands down, the largest contributor to the drug trade across all three dimensions. They are responsible for most drug production, and every day, hundreds of individuals resupply their drug reserves through Black Magic. If they were to be wiped out, thousands would die from severe withdrawal symptoms. In order to avoid such a catastrophic event, Black Magic has been allowed to survive and even receives support from other criminal bodies as well as Xcution.
Location: Black Magic has several branches in the Rukongai and Human World, but their headquarters resides in Las Vegas: the Black Magic Resort and Casino. It is a mystery where Black Magic's drug production actually occurs, but rumors have spread that they have hidden labs in Hueco Mundo's Menos Forrest where they can manufacture the substances they desire.

Jason's Crew
Description: As human world dwellers began to acquire enslaved hollows, the power dynamic in the underworld began to shift. Jason Trench was one of the new faces that began to acquire power. He began to absorb others' hollows into his own forces, creating a hollow army large enough for him to make more significant power grabs. In very little time, he had established his own criminal empire. Jason's Crew participates in some mercenary work, but their primary means of profit is smuggling.
Location: Jason's Crew compete with Diamond Blue in the Human World, but Diamond Blue reigns as the supreme smuggling force in the Rukongai. On the other hand, Jason's crew has the best access to all corners of Hueco Mundo, even establishing relationships with some members of Las Arenas. It is unknown whether they have established a headquarters yet or where that headquarters may be.

Titan
Description: Much like Jason's crew, Titan also took advantage of the instability that the enslaved hollows brought to the black market. However, that is where their similarities end. Titan is invested in one thing and one thing alone: combat. For this reason, they are a mercenary firm, and one of the strongest at that. It is rumored that they are led solely by those with such superhuman physical and spiritual capabilities that they cannot stabilize a release, instead relying on their raw power to subdue their enemies. They offer protection for those with more money than they know how to defend. Titan is also frequently employed for more than just bodyguard work, participating in strikes against the Gotei 13, Xcution, Uzaki Enterprise, and sometimes Las Noches as well.
Location: Titan is not centered in any one location. They go wherever they are needed for their work. Their employer determines where they conduct their work, and once a Titan operative completes their mission, they disappear until they are employed once more.

Douma
Description: Douma's criminal enterprise exists in three separate markets: the drug trade, illicit weapons sale, and mercenary business. Because this group has spread itself rather thin, it fails to excel in each of its pursuits, instead acquiring moderate levels of influence and recognition in each sector. In doing so, it has gained an expansive criminal information network through which many criminals may search for potential allies.
Location: Douma's domain extends to both the Human World and the Rukongai, although he is notably more active in the Human World. It is unclear whether Douma operates from his own headquarters or from Xcution's facilities, acting as an extension of Lord Callus.

Sky Oasis
Description: Soul trafficking is among the most profitable and sinister practices a criminal may perform, and no group does it better than Sky Oasis. This organization operates in a variety of ways, either kidnapping designated targets or abducting their victims at random. And what happens to those they capture? They are often sold for into slavery as for manual labor or forced combat on behalf of their owners. Their leadership is ruthless and unrelenting, often killing their more problematic “merchandise” rather than risking their escape. If you’re unfortunate enough to be snatched by Sky Oasis, you may never live a free life again.
Location: Sky Oasis is believed the centralize its operations in secluded corners of Hueco Mundo, although its unclear which part of Hueco Mundo exactly. However, it operates across all three worlds, so there’s nowhere for their potential victims to run. Hide your kids. Hide your wives. Sky Oasis taking everybody that they can.

Blood-Tooth Grin
Description: Blood-Tooth Grin is among the greatest drug manufacturing organizations in the Black Market. Alongside Black Magic, their greatest competitor, Blood-Tooth Grin dominates the drug trade. However, while they are in a constant economic struggle against Black Magic, Blood-Tooth has a different focus. They gear their product less toward recreational users and more toward those who wish to attain a power that they are uncapable of on their own. Blood-Tooth invents and sells combat enhancement drugs geared toward taking the bodily function to new heights, turning gladiators into immortal demigods and paving a path to victory for the warriors who use their product.
Location: Blood-Tooth Grin is based in Hueco Mundo, but they are among the few organizations that permit their products to be sold across all worlds through contracts with multiple smugglers and distributors. Their universal trade policy has resulted in greater hostility between competing black market merchants.

Kurotama Kokan
Description: Kurotama Kokan is unique amongst Black Market organizations in that their items don’t seem inherently sinister. They don’t sell sneaky tools, terrifying drugs, or malicious weaponry. Instead, Kurotama Kokan sells vehicles – and vehicles are used in extremely broad terms. Their vehicles are less important for transportation and more useful for mobility, and because of that, they have dangerous combat application. After major organizations attempted to purchase Kurotama Kokan’s technology and the CEO Alexis turned them down, they labeled her group a criminal organization, and now Kurotama Kokan is forced to sell on the Black Market.
Location: Kurotama Kokan possesses hubs across majors cities in the Human World, although their smugglers allow them to expand their brand into the Rukongai and even Hueco Mundo. Thus, they tailor their products to each world’s unique markets.
