Description: The Link Network is an incredibly handy piece of equipment for unit engagement. The Link Network itself is a large, metal sphere, approximately one meter in size. If two or more individuals place their hands on the sphere and release their reiatsu, they will all become linked to one another for up to six hours. Effectively, this grants the group the equivalent of 400 Energy Sensory, EXPLICITLY with respects to the other members of the unit. A pair of linked individuals will be able to know the approximate emotional state, location, and even physical condition of one another at all times, allowing for a much more coordinated unit that is much more in sync with each member. A basic Link Network has an effective range of ten miles. Larger models with an extended range can be made on request, however, note that the one meter model is the most efficient one. For every additional mile the range is boosted, the Link Network will cost an additional 1000 Ryo, and the device itself will be half a meter larger in diameter.

Extremely effective in places of cover, when someone wearing this presses themselves up against a solid object, it is virtually impossible to see them with the naked eye, without over 150 in senses. Even while moving out in the open it is difficult for anyone with less than 100 senses to make them out, and will generally only see the vague outline of the person wearing it. Description: This is a chemical devised after intense studying of an Arrancar's High Speed Regeneration. After injecting this drug, the location injected will undergo a full recovery in the course of a single post. For example, if injected into the shoulder of a severed arm, an entirely new arm will sprout from the stump. Alternatively, if a character is less than okay with this, they could also try roughly attaching their old arm to the stump to have the separation immediately amended. Note that the effects of the drug are localized so injecting into the arm, will ONLY heal the arm, and injecting into the torso will ONLY heal the torso. Regardless, the healing will take place over the course of a single post-- the post in which the drug is injected.
WARNING: Side Effects of administering the drug involve intense pain, immediate exhaustion from the energy required to heal the injuries, and the user's Senses will be befuddled and effectively halved for up to three posts, depending on the severity of the injury (minor to moderate cuts/bruises=1 post. Broken bones=2 posts. Severed limb=3 posts). Exhaustion and pain suffered are also similarly dependant on a scale of minor, moderate and severe for both based on the same scale.

Description: Kido revolver: This is an advanced firearm devised for Squad 5, a division that heavily employs Kido. The kido revolver is shaped essentially like an ordinary revolver but does not fire bullets. It fires Kido spells. At any point, the user can load the revolver with up to 6* spells at any given time, by opening the weapon, much like they would load a real revolver, placing their finger on an empty barrel and attempting to cast a kido spell. The revolver can then be later used to fire the spell at a later point for no reiatsu cost, stamina or pain cost**, making this an appealing option for many reiatsu specialists like Technique Masters who suffer great pain for casting spells. A kido spell fired from the revolver will travel at a speed of 1000 but will have reduced power and Class. Any spell fired from the revolver will have its class reduced by 1*** (A class 2 spell will become a Class 3 spell), and only possess 70% of the original caster's power. Incantations cannot be used to bolster the spell's power in this fashion.
*The 6 spell capacity assumes the revolver is being filled with Class 4 or lower spells. A Class 3 spell will fill two slots in the Revolver (for a maximum of three shots), a Class 2 spell will fill three slots (for a maximum of 2 shots) and a Class 1 spell will completely fill the revolver allowing for only a single shot at a time. The revolver cannot maintain the power of a Class 0 spell and will be destroyed if it is used in an attempt to fire one.
**Note that spells that cause damage to the user upon casting, such as Itto Kaso, will damage the Revolver beyond its ability to be used again without extensive maintenance.

HIB sensors are intended to be installed in pairs at a point of egress, and are similar to LREW sensors in that they provide the Gotei 13 with advanced warning of intruders. Unlike LREW sensors however, HIB sensors have an extremely short range of no more than 100 feet, but to compensate for this provide a much more comprehensive scan of any would-be intruder.

With highly specialized improvements to the existing "Reiatsu Sensor" technology currently used by the Gotei 13, HIB Sensors can detect Reiatsu within their radius, and is treated as having Senses of 500, and an Energy Sensory statistic of 1000. The data that is collected by each HIB sensor is transmitted wirelessly to the control node housed in the Sereitei Research and Development Institute. If a HIB Sensor detects the presence of any Quincy, Hollow, Fullbringer, or Hell-Based reitasu, it will immediately sound an audible alarm, as well as immediately transmit a full bio-scan of the offending individual to Squad 12.
Drawbacks: These scanners must be installed at points of entry, and have an extremely narrow range of 100 feet. Portable versions of this technology is impossible. The biometric data of every individual passing through one of these sensors is stored within the SRDI, and is cross-referenced with any and all existing biometric data for each individual.
Cost: 75,000 Ryo, and upkeep 5,000/mo. This technology is intended to be installed throughout the Squad 12 Barracks, at each of the four Gates to the Sereitei, and at the entry-point to any Squad Barracks which wishes to take advantage of this technology.

Description: An invention of Squad 12. The Long-Range Early Warning Sensor (LREWS) has been designed to improve upon the existing reiatsu sensors employed by the Gotei 13. These devices function in a similar manner to the more sensitive High Intensity Biometric Sensors, except where the former is intended to provide highly detailed biometric data, LREW Sensors are intended to merely alert the Gotei 13 to the presence of intruders over a large scanning area. It is the goal of Squad 12 to establish the presence of a number of Surveillance outposts in the Rukongai district with each outpost manned by one Squad 12 member, and several scout operatives from Squads 2 and/or Squad 3, and install one of these devices at each outpost.
LREW Sensors are designed to be networked together through a series of long-range broadcast towers, that will provide a wide security net covering the entire Rukongai.

For the purpose of detecting such individuals, LREW sensors have the equivalent of 1 rank in "Anti-Stealth" and have an Energy Sensory statistic of 100.
Drawbacks: While 100 ES normally provides pin-point accuracy within 1/2 a mile, the increased range of these sensors makes it impossible for them to narrow down the location of detected individuals to any more than 1 square mile. Furthermore, LREW sensors can only detect the presence/absence of the above-mentioned races, and how many of each such individual is within any given radius. LREW sensors cannot identify specific individuals, nor can this technology be adapted into a portable form.

Description: A swivel mounted high-intensity surgical laser mounted to a wall or other fixed structure, intended to provide a lethal deterrent to unauthorized intrusion by hostile parties. Capable of easily cutting through flesh and bone as easily as a knife through butter, these devices are the ultimate first response to hostile intruders.

Bonuses: This swivel mounted laser turret is usually installed in pairs either side of a gate, door, or similar structure. When an enemy race, or unauthorized individual is detected by a networked HIB Sensor, the turret will activate and issue a verbal warning to withdraw from the immediate area or be terminated. A warning klaxon will sound, counting down 3 seconds, after which all networked Laser turrets present will lock onto a chosen target, and fire a thin, red laser of lethal force. On contact, this laser is more than capable of slicing a person in half with a single strike. The laser will fire a continuous beam at its intended target until their reiatsu signature dissipates.
Each laser turret has built-in IFF targeting and has limited Artificial Intelligence, capable of tracking and predicting the movements of their chosen target, and executing precise lethal strikes. Each laser turret has the following combat statistics: Reiatsu Strength 200, Speed 400, Instinct 50, Senses 100, and Energy Sensory 300. While their offensive potential poses little threat to high-priority targets, it is more than lethal against the rank and file hollows, quincy, and other low-class hostile agents which might dare to infiltrate the Sereitei.
Drawbacks: Must be provided a constant source of electricity. Must be networked to a nearby HIB Sensor. Each Laser beam has a narrow range to a maximum of 25 feet. While rare, may potentially cause unintended friendly casualties if allied characters move within the path of a beam while in operation, however the devices Artificial Intelligence, and IFF tracking reduces the risk of accidental fatalities to less than a 2% risk.
Cost: 150,000 Ryo. Not Authorized for personal use. Only authorized for installation at Sereitei Gates, Squad 12 Barracks, SRDI, Central 46, and other high-security areas. Requires authorization from Captain Commander for installation into other locations.

Name: High Energy Anti-Intrusion Laser Grid (HE AILG)
Description: Inspired by the laser security grid protecting the Hive Computer Core in Resident Evil, the HE AILG protects the corridor to the SRDI computer core. The corridor itself is outfitted with three redundant HIB Sensors. Unauthorized shinigami (including lower ranking Squad 12 members), and members of any non-shinigami race which pass through these sensors, trigger the activation of the HE AILG. Once triggered, the door closest to the computer core slams shut and magnetically seals, and a verbal warning instructs the offending individual they have 3 seconds to depart the secured area or lethal force will be taken against them.
3 seconds after the warning is issued, the door at the near end of the corridor likewise shuts, and is magnetically sealed, after which a 2 inch grid of high intensity surgical lasers sweeps the corridor, slicing the intruder into cube-shaped chunks.

Bonuses: The surgical laser grid emitted by the AILG moves at a speed of 300 but provides no safe space to pass by the laser grid safely. The grid occupies the entire height and width of the corridor, and sweeps from the far end of the corridor (closest to the computer core), to the near end (closest to the exit). Creatures which ignore the verbal warning and fail to exit the corridor before becoming trapped are diced to pieces. Characters with OS equal to or greater than the laser have sufficient durability to withstand the effects of the laser, suffering deep bloody gashes 1-2 inches deep across their entire body, which are cauterized on contact, but survive their encounter with the AILG.
Drawbacks: The AILG can only be activated once, before it requires a full hour to recharge the generator which fuels the device. Creatures which heed the warning always have sufficient time to exit the corridor without suffering any injury. Only the Captain and Vice Captain of Squad 12, and three Squad 12 specialists are authorized to access this corridor safely. The Biometric database (stored within the central computer core) requires rank 4 in Hacking, and an Instinct of 400+ in order to be bypassed and add new users. Only the Captain and/or Vice Captain of Squad 12 are authorized to add new approved biometric data. Characters approved to access the SRDI computer core do not trigger the AILG.

Drawbacks: While 100 ES normally provides pin-point accuracy within 1/2 a mile, the increased range of these sensors makes it impossible for them to narrow down the location of detected individuals to any more than 1 square mile. Furthermore, LREW sensors can only detect the presence/absence of the above-mentioned races, and how many of each such individual is within any given radius. LREW sensors cannot identify specific individuals, nor can this technology be adapted into a portable form.

A warning klaxon will sound, counting down 3 seconds, after which all networked Laser turrets present will lock onto a chosen target, and fire a thin, red laser of lethal force. On contact, this laser is more than capable of slicing a person in half with a single strike. The laser will fire a continuous beam at its intended target until their reiatsu signature dissipates.
Each laser turret has built-in IFF targeting and has limited Artificial Intelligence, capable of tracking and predicting the movements of their chosen target, and executing precise lethal strikes. Each laser turret has the following combat statistics: Reiatsu Strength 200, Speed 400, Instinct 50, Senses 100, and Energy Sensory 300. While their offensive potential poses little threat to high-priority targets, it is more than lethal against the rank and file hollows, quincy, and other low-class hostile agents which might dare to infiltrate the Sereitei.

Description: Inspired by the laser security grid protecting the Hive Computer Core in Resident Evil, the HE AILG protects the corridor to the SRDI computer core. The corridor itself is outfitted with three redundant HIB Sensors. Unauthorized shinigami (including lower ranking Squad 12 members), and members of any non-shinigami race which pass through these sensors, trigger the activation of the HE AILG. Once triggered, the door closest to the computer core slams shut and magnetically seals, and a verbal warning instructs the offending individual they have 3 seconds to depart the secured area or lethal force will be taken against them.
3 seconds after the warning is issued, the door at the near end of the corridor likewise shuts, and is magnetically sealed, after which a 2 inch grid of high intensity surgical lasers sweeps the corridor, slicing the intruder into cube-shaped chunks.
