It was another of the more interesting missions that Shizu was tasked with. It was fairly normal for her to get the more clandestine jobs, or those more involved with squad 2. Among the Onmitsukido, she was one of the few who ontop of having skill in stealth, also had profficiency with finding others who were hiding. So as it came to pass, she generally had to deal with those from squad two. This time was not all that different, some flunkies who decided to desert, nobody who even had a seated position worth noting. But what WAS surprising was that this time she had a partner. Evidently because of the level of skill in some of these deserters, she wouldn't be operating alone.
The blonde was busy getting herself ready. Stocking up her Mission Kit, and sliding into the onmitsukido uniform, stuffing every inch of those obnoxiously pretty blonde locks into a bun, and then sliding it under that black cap. Just before she lifted that lower mask so that the only skin showing along her entire form was the line of her eyes across her face, showing off those dazzling yellow-greens. She was, if anything, a stickler for tradition. Sure, at times it was necessary to be disguised or to blend in as a normal person. On some missions she even dressed in little more than rags when she wanted to be out in the outter districts. But this was no infiltration. It was a cut-and-dry elimination. Standard stealth uniform did just fine. The only real accomodations were the slits in her hakama. But at this point in her career, very few people knew what the purpose of those was. Her secret remained hidden inside and wound around her legs and waist.
Making her way toward where she was supposed to meet her partner, Shizuyoko fell silent, staring straight ahead as she let her mind idly wander. It was a nice day, all things considered. It was rather cold, but sunny, meaning that it was cool in the shade, but nice and warm in the light. The sun was yawning it's way into the west, but most shadows were still almost just under one's feet. If all went well, they would be back by the time it got dark. One could always hope at least.
