Yetsuna saw a weird look go across Shizu's face as she tried to get confirmation that any favor meant any favor and it was easy to tell that what she had been hinting at was lost on her friend. She laughed a bit and let it slide, she wasn't too concerned about it because she knew she wasn't gonna win anyway, at least not with the current rules of engagement. Yetsuna had spent most of her career training in becoming skilled in her release, unfortunately she hadn't trained much in anything else.
Shizu, on the other hand, was a bit of a skill money. She probably knew ten times the techniques she did, and that was gonna give her a hell of an advantage, and that was without her speed to. At this point Yetsuna knew she was probably walking into a loss, though she would never say it out loud, and was just in it for the fun. Oh and there was the tails, she forgot about the tails there for a second....yeah things weren't looking too good for the green haired woman.
She gave the blonde woman a peck of a kiss before releasing her grip and taking a few steps back to put distance between them before they sparred. "So, you wanna be the one that starts?" she asked with a smile. Even though she knew she was at a heavy disadvantage she didn't wanna lose to quickly, so she figured she try and play reactive instead of offensive, she'd be too easy to counter if she attacked so she might have a better chance being the one reacting.

Shizuyoko paused, surprised when the woman kissed her again. Once more she was.... perplexed. she didn't understand this affection. At least not from a shinigami. Well...somone who wasn't an ex shinigami. It was strange indeed. Sure she had been groped before, but this simply FELT a lot different. She felt.... unsure. She almost didn't want to hurt the woman. She was pretty after all. And she had such a nice attitude. It was.... conflicting.
[smear:FF0000]Does it honestly even matter?[/smear:331cff]
She suddenly froze, and in that moment, she was yanked into her own head, and in a vast expanse of white desert, Shizuyoko found herself once again sitting infront of those massive beasts. But Yetsuna wasn't there. This wasn't the training ground infront of all those watchers. This was her soul Her inner world. And the only ones there were her, and her zanpaku'to. Or rather, her and once of them. Of course she knew Daihachibi was there as well. She just always preferred to be hidden. Nanakiba Orochi was so much more verbose after all, even as she was ignoring her zanpaku'to, forcing her to repeat herself.
[smear:FF0000]Don't ignore me. I'm asking a legitimate question: What does it matter? she's just another shinigami. She cares about her career, her own power, and that's it. She won't even live long enough for it to matter. She'll die like every other short-lived little shinigami.[/smear:331cff]
She winced softly at that and sighed, ignoring the clear fact that they were egging her on. No, she wasn't going to be protective of the little shiniweenie. She folded her arms and took a slow, steady breath, openning her eyes to see that massive crimson snake head right infront of her. It's head easily twice her size. She shivered, frowning and narrowing her eyes as she stared at the tail infront of her. She knew that Nanakiba was just trying to help her keep her priorities straight. But honestly it wasn't helping. "And you would be the one to know." she snarked back to it.
[smear:FF0000]We BOTH are one to know! Do nto give me that HUMAN FILTH they call snark! you and I have seen THOUSANDS of shinigami die, either by our fangs or the teeth of our brothers! This little pet will do nothing for you. She will die. Either by you, or someone else. There is no POINT in growing attatched. She is a DANGER to you.[/smear:331cff] The serpent hissed warningly, and suddenly that hit something of a nerve with Shizuyoko, suddenly begining to not like what she was hearing, frownign all the more as those big red eyes slowly narrowed. And she KNEW that Nanakiba could sense her discomfort.
[smear:FF0000]You still think youi can play dress up. You still think you're one of them. Yamata.... this is NOT you. I understand that you want to honor your...... mate.... but this is NOT to be. You may hold these swords. But they are not the zanpaku'to of a shinigami. You mistake yourself if you believe such a thing. Eventually, your power will begin to grow too much. And they will swallow you. And when that time comes. We will refuse to remain quiet.[/smear:331cff] Those eyes narrowed all the more, and that hot breath was FELT against Shizuyoko's skin, and she felt chills up her spine as that tongue slithered out to slide along her cheek.
[smear:FF0000]We will eat our way out. And the last you'll see of these... 'friends' of yours will be when they see us eat a hole through your chest. And then they will turn their blades on you. And you will kill them all.[/smear:331cff] that soft, feminine voice hissed to her, and in a flash it was gone again. she was no longer in that deep black desert. Her tails were aching softly, and she could feel her zanpaku'to vibrating where she'd sheathed them. So very suddenly she felt..... violated. Shaken.
And Yetsuna was still there. She had missed whatever had been said. But in her... upset state. With her zanpaku'to's words still ringing in her ears. she reacted instinctively. In a sudden burst of speed she was upon Yetsuna, using Senka once again as she attacked the woman. In that rapid high-speed movement, using her reduced speed, though still blindingly fast, likely a bit too fast for Yetsuna to properly react to, she used two tails to grab onto the woman's arm, and in a vioeltn sudden burst of motion she twisted, shoving it the wrong direction and aiming to rip the arm out of it's socket, as well as bending the elbow the wrong way.
The second part of the attack was ramming that (potentially) dislocated arm into Yetsuna's own body, slamming her own palm into her throat with enough force to forcibly close off the woman's airpipe, aiming to briefly choke them as their throat attempted to reinflate. shizuyoko's blood suddenly pumping madly as the sudden adrenaline of her upset state got to her. her zanpakuto was WRONG. She refused to believe it, and in her upset state her body was taking out her frustrations on Yetsuna. Immediately following her senka, she unleashed yet another attack.
She twisted, planting two of her tails against the woman's throat, along with her bicep, hooking her limbs around the woman's neck and kicking against the back of the woman's legs with her heel and another two of her tails, using their combined strength to aim and not only overpower the woman, but choke-slam them into the ground, subconsciously aiming to viciously end the fight as her brain chugged away at what Nanakiba had told her. Her conscious mind focused entirely, waiting, expecting Yetsuna to try and counter. Her arms ready, very slightly tensed. Waiting for yetsuna to use any of her limbs to try and counter, primed, ready to grab onto whatever it was, ready to dislocate. To break. To use more of her combined skill and brutality to change the tide of the fight.
Because deep down.. she was afraid that she was actually growing attatched to a mere shinigami. These little.... bugs. That lived and died. even though to humans they seemed so ancient. To her... they were so young. So fleeting. They were like.... flies. That's what Yetsuna was to her. It wasn't the fact that she hated them. It wasnt the fact that she thought yetsuna would ever hurt her. she doubted that in fact. But when you saw a spider, it didn't matter if that spider intended to harm you. It didn't matter. It was just a spider. And the fact of the matter was that it MIGHT bother you. So withuot a second thought, it was just.... basic instinct. Squish the spider, and then sleep peacefully knowing that spider would never get the chance to annoy you with it's bite.
But if she started to care about the spiders... She was in danger. If she stopped killing them, if she surrounded herself with them. Let them into her home. Her castle. Her sanctuary that was her heart. She remembered what had happened to her fiance. A wonderful, gorgeous shinigami turned human. A spider she had fallen in love with. Had children with. And still, in the end she had gotten bitten. not even by him. Not even by a spider. But she'd paid the price. And when she tried sleeping at night, and found him in her dreams, keeping her from sleeping peacefully.... She couldn't help but feel.... and wish. That she had never come to love that spider.
And now it was happening all over again. And without even thinking. her visceral reaction was to crush and destroy Yetsuna. No matter the fact that as soon as it was over, she would be worried over having possibly seriously injured the woman. Something happened between when she had released Shizu from her arms and when she had taken up her combat stance. She seemed...distant, she didn't respond to her question about who wanted to make the first move. "LOOK OUT!" Ishio suddenly rang in her head, the normally quiet zanpaktou spirit shouted as Shizu suddenly used a senka to attack without warning. Before she could react she found herself wrapped up in the girls tails. The concluded her senka grapple by pressing Yetsuna's arm in an odd direction causing it to pop out if its socket and making her let out a muffled grunt as she gritted her teeth.
Having her arm popped out of its socket hurt, but it wasn't anything that she couldn't take, though the attack had reduced the functionality of her arm to a very minimal level unless she felt like causing herself more pain. "Nice warning," Yetsuna comment to Ishio, he knew she wouldn't be able to get out of the way, but the warning gave her just enough time to actually brace for an attack so that she was utterly blinded sided. "Something happened to her, she bleeding out murderous intent," Ishio observed in his ever sagely tone of voice, "I think it has to do with her Zanpaktou."
"What do you mean?" he asked back confused. "It started oozing out an evil aura just before she attacked. It almost feels like a hollow...." Ishio's voice trailed off in thought. "Got any ideas?" "For now I'd recommend not letting her crush your throat," "oh shit" he said as Shizu began to contort her now bad arm into a position so that'd she throat chop herself. Yetsuna managed to resist the movements to some extent, though ti caused her some pain, but she knew the effort to resist was vain. But it still let her do what she needed.
That short time she spent struggling against her motion gave her enough time to bring her chin down over her neck, preventing her palm from making contact, it did hurt her chin though. If something didn't happen soon Yetsuna was gonna be looking at fairly severe ass kicking. In a bid to buy some time and maybe potentially break the blonde out of whatever spell she was under she started to yell at her before she could wind up another attack.
"What the heck happened to not wanting to serious damage to each other? You just tried to collapse my damn throat!" Yetsuna's tone was a mix of slightly pissed and confused. Pissed at the semi-cheap shot attack and that she was more or less helpless at the moment, a feeling she really, really hated, and confused cause she felt like Shizu basically just did a 180 from how she was just a few moments ago. She doubted a few words were gonna be enough to snap the blonde out of her trance, but she hoped she'd at least respond so she'd have an extra moment to think. She already had an idea in mind if the situation keep going the way it was, but she wasn't entirely sure whether or not it was gonna work and honestly if it didn't she might get torn to shreds in the next few minutes.

Shizuyoko was still panting, even as she heard that objection from Yetsuna, swallowing hard as she slowly looked down at her own hands, and she could FEEL it. Yetsuna's zan would feel where it was coming from of course, the black wakizashi stuck in the ground. Daihachi-bi. That sword was wrapping Shizuyoko in that black inky aura it had. Even with Shizuyoko's bright aura, it was almost sickening that the weapon had so much Dark aura in it, as if it was a trsh can that Shizuyoko put all of her negative feelings in.
Before Shizuyoko even realized, one of her hands had gentle wrapped around Daihachibi's blade, or maybe it had simply appeared in her hand? She didn't know entirely which it was, but all she knew was that she could FEEL that dark, black crawling sensation all over her skin, even as those bright green eyes of hers slowly turned dark orange, slowly looking up to stare in Yetsuna's direction as she felt herself waver. Her spiritual pressure began to rise again, and her other hand gently wrapped around Nanakiba Orochi.
There was a burst of reiatsu as her own spiritual energy began rippling around her, but she wasn't releasing just yet, but she was very close to doing so, her breathing becoming a little labored as clearly SOMETHING was wearing her down, as if all of her fatigue had decided to double itself on the spot, those seven tails behind her slowly curling in little wavy lines behind her, as if preparing to do something about the situation.
[smear:DA70D6]"You're trying to trick me...."[/smear:483D8B] Came the husky response from the shinigami, that hollow spiritual pressure beginning to be felt as she increased how much of her spirit energy she was putting out, most of it coming from that little black wakizashi. Those eyes narrowed, looking zsquarely at Yetsuna. How could she NOT be trying to trick her? All of this... hugging... kissing. It was all a trap. Nobody ever did that sort of thing. It reminded her... it reminded her of her past. Hollows only ever did this... when they were going to try and kill you in your sleep. This HAD to be a trick.

Yetsuna felt the tails wrapped around her extremties release their grip as she shouted at Shizu about what she had just done. Slowly the blonde stumbled away, her breathing ragged as she made her way towards the blade Ishio had warned her about just a moment ago. The green haired woman's first reaction was to step to it and try and beat her friend so she could keep it out of her hand, but she suppressed the urge. Zanpaktou had wills of their own and she wasn't entirely sure what such a "unique" sword might be capable of if she tried to grab it. Plus she had the busted arm to deal with as well.
Quickly she jerked arm own arm popping it back into place with audible pop/crack and gritted groan as the pain washed over her. Even for the toughest of people putting a damaged joint back in place hurt like hell, the difference was whether or not they could keep going after doing it. A few beads of sweat formed on her brow as she contended with the pain, she didn't know where this was going, but if worst came to worst she didn't need a crippled arm while she tried to fight her friend.
She saw Shizu grab her blade and almost immediately Yetsuna went for hers, she was already in a bad place with the blonde fighting without her weapon, with them she was utterly screwed unless she had her own, but as she began to make for her blade the seemingly possessed girl spoke, though it didn't seem to be in her own voice. Her words made her stop reaching for her blade, the words the blonde said gave her an idea, one she wasn't a huge fan of, but might be a good chance to break whatever grip the blade zanpaktou had on her, at least if what she had just said was any hint of what was going on.
Yetsuna removed her hand from the proximity of her blade as Ishio rang out in her head, "Her eyes changed, her weapon is taking more control, are you really sure you wanna do this?" "Not really, but its worth trying, and as long as she doesn't release I should be safe." The last thought wasn't as comforting as she would have liked, she knew her spiritual pressure was higher then Shizuyoko's but between whatever influence the blade had and whatever techniques the blonde knew there was a lot of room for shit to go bad.
Slowly Yetsuna began to take some steps towards the possessed blonde her arms held out slightly to show she had no weapon or ill-intent, "What would I want to trick you about? You're my friend, why would I lie to you about anything?" If Shizu could hear her, let alone the tone she was speaking in, she would be able to tell Yetsuna spoke the truth her tone gentle and soothing as she tried to bring her friend back from whatever place the weapon had placed her in.
Before she finished speaking Yetsuna was within striking range of Shizuyoko's blades and she watched carefully to see if was about to attack. If the blonde didn't stop her the green haired woman would get in close to her before wrapping her arms around her friend in a hug and pulling her close and tight, "C'mon, this isn't you, not this darkness. My Shizu is full of light, just seeing her brings a smile to my face. She's my best friend, don't let that sword tell you anything different.

Shizu felt her heart begin to pound a little as she saw Yetsuna begin reaching for that weapon of hers. Those eyes narrowed as she immediately took a step forward, but thankfully didn't launch herself into an attack just yet. Those teeth bared slightly as she arched those tails menacingly, showing off those pointed tips at the woman as she kept a firm gaze on the other shinigami. She was not fooled, she could see the way the girl was getting ready to take her down. Just like any of the other ones.
Kil her That little voice cooed into her ear, and in her mind she could feel Daihachibi slithering around. Thousands of years of fear, anger, jealousy. and why shouldn't she be? She bet Yetsuna got plenty of attetion with those dumb knockers of hers. They probably got her out of all kinds of trouble. She almost snarled at the very thought, and her reiatsu rippled once again, just the barest edge of a reiatsu flame licking along the edge of her weapons. It wasn't until Yetsuna actually pulled away from her weapon that Shziuyoko actually paused, those flames extinguishing as her confusion was suddenly at the forefront of her mind.
What.... what is this? [smear:DA70D6]"What are you doing?"[/smear:483D8B] She all but hissed, though her tone was noticeably softer as compared to before. Those eyes burned with mistrust, watching as Yetsuna moved in closer and closer, the woman's bdoy ready to spring into action the moment the woman showed any signs of hostility. But rather than threats or even shows of violence or strength, Yetsuna chose to show a peaceful side. She watched as the woman moved in closer and closer, making her back up only a little before stopping in her tracks, watching as the woman even moved in within striking distance. She could kill Yetsuna if she wanted...
She furrowed her brows, waiting for the rush of reiatsu, waited to see or sense some sort of... anything that would tip her off, let her know Yetsuna was up to something. But it never came. Instead Yetsuna still came in, unprotected, undefended. Talking about how Shizuyoko was her best friend. she sfroze, unsure of how to react to this. Slowly, bit by bit, her eyes returned to that brilliant yellow-green, her voice snaring in her throat as she felt Yetsuna's arms slide around her, pulling her in once again. And she felt that knot in her throat sink, as she began to tear up just a bit. those fingers slowly loosened, her swords only barely held in hand.
"You....you're lying...." She half-sniffled half-whimpered. Surely it wasn't true. If it WERE true well... then what kind of being was she? A hollow, that was easy. She had been a hollow all her life. She'd been born a hollow. She'd fallen in love as a hollow. Even now, she was still, at her core,a holow. She wasn't even a real human to begin with. And despite all of this, she felt the waterworks well up in those pretty eyes of hers, and gently, she relaxed.
KLAK! KLaka!
The sound of her zanpaku'to hitting the ground cut the silence like a gunshot, the tension dispelled as shizuyoko stared at Yetsuna, in a mic of horror and disbelief. "Why..... I could kill you... even now... I could rip your head off.... I...." She felt her throat tightening, shutting her eyes as she just tried to understand, facing this new person, this new experience, and pitting it against four thousand years of learned behavior. It was a lot to adjust. she still was dangerous, but slowly, she seemed to be relaxing, so long as Yetsuna stayed calm it seemed she would be able to calm the woman down.
Post by Yetsuna Yishnir on Dec 11, 2016 2:18:47 GMT -5
As Yetsuna let her hand fall away from its near grip on her blade she saw a reaction from Shizuyoko, it still felt somewhat hostile, not like her, but not as much as before. The tone was softer, was the real Shizu starting to break out of whatever trap she was in? Whether or not she was the action gave the green haired woman a bit more confidence about her next move. She was waiting for a hostile action, but Yetsuna was going to deny her that.
Slowly she began to step towards Shizu completely unarmed, her only defense being the natural reaitsu that poured out of her body, but that may not have even been real protection. One step, then another, then another, then she was in the blonde's striking range. She could feel her own heartbeat as she watched for any signs of a potential skewer attempt by friend, but no such action came, no instead she was actually backpedaling trying to get away from her, though she didn't go far before coming to a stop.
As Yetsuna go closer she could see a myriad of emotions of the blonde's face; anger, confusion, desperation, maybe even....fear? What was that blade doing to her? What could it have done to turn such a bright hearted girl into this? She had to get that blade away from her, even if that potentially taking that blade in the stomach. Fortuitously for the green haired woman such a drastic measure wasn't required or taken. A few more steps and she was within arms reach of her friend.
With the same deliberate slowness she had walked with she wrapped her arms around her friend, not in the flirty manner she had earlier, but as gesture of comfort and support. Yetsuna reassured her friend, told her that she would never lie to her, that she had no reason to do so. As she spoke she could start to feel her friends body begin to relax as the anger gave way to tears. Shizuyoko tried to speak her words choked as she fought back against the emotions welling up inside her.
"No...I'm not," she responded soothingly as the blonde called her a lair once more. A moment after Yetsuna's response she would hear the sound of Shizu's sword hit the ground as she lost her grip on it, her body continuing to relax as she realized that the green haired woman had no ill intent. Even though she was relaxing Yetsuna kept a tight grip on her friend, to show that she had no intention of going anywhere, she was right there with her as long as she needed.
Through a choked throat Shizu tried to talk again, though this time her voice was fully her own. She couldn't see them, but Yetsuna could hear the tears as she spoke, as she asked Yetsuna why she did what she had, why she did was she was doing. "You could, but you won't, you're not a monster. You're Shizuyoko, a shinigami and my best friend," she cooed. The green haired woman kept herself braced, ready to support any and all of Shizu's weight in case her legs gave out.
At the same time Yetsuna would also, painstakingly slowly, let her reaitsu wash over her friend, to help give her some sense of solidness in a time where she was guessing she was falling apart internally. Yetsuna's reaitsu, being attuned to earth, often imposed in others a sense of solidity, like they were safe around her and she was trying to impart those feelings onto her friend. The two women would remain in their embrace as long as Shizuyoko required, until she felt safe and comfortable once more.
This entire ordeal had shown her that there was a secret to Shizuyoko that she didn't know, and it was something she would need to figure out, not for her sake but for Shizu's. Yetsuna had already had the misfortune of having to face her demons, and if not for the intervention of Mika, she would have been snuffed out by them. The blonde seemed to bear a similar burden, maybe even worse, and that meant she was going to need someone to help her fight them. But that could wait until she felt better.
Post by Shizuyoko Toraumi on Dec 11, 2016 21:03:24 GMT -5
Shizuyoko staed, looking off into the distance as she felt Yetsuna holding her so very close. She felt that darkness washing away from her. But..... her mind had wandered. And now, with what Yetsuna said... it was a blow that was more...logical than emotional. Was Yetsuna's confidence really.... only because of that? BEcause she thought Shizyoko was... normal? She felt the tears slowly begin to dry up, and one of her tails snuck out, and slowly took a hold of Nanakiba Orochi, and suddenly that long blade was pressed to Yetsuna's back.
"But I am a monster...." She murmured softly, slowly pressing that blade against Yetsuna's body, not enough to actually test the skin, but enough that the woman would feel her begin to put her spiritual pressure into it, getting ready to release. Shizuyoko slowly leaned in, whispering in Yetsuna's ear as she stared stright ahead. "I was never a human to begin with. For most of my life.. at least for all I can remember. I was a hollow. I was cleansed.... I became a human,... and then I died... These tails...." She let them slowly begin winding all over Yetsuna's body, slowly squeezing, locking the woman's body in place as Shizuyoko's eyes narrowed.
"Why do you think being in the Omnitsukido is so easy for me? I've been murdering shinigami for as long as I can remember. And now they pay me to keep on doing it. To keep you Gotei in line."One of those tails slithered it's way around Yetsuna's neck, and slowly began squeezing down. Four of her tails were slithering to try and lock down the woman's arms while she pressed down. She didn't squeeze enough to cut off air, she needed Yetsuna to be able to speak after all.
"Still think I'm your friend? If you lie I'll know. And that filthy lie is going to be the last thing that comes out of your mouth." She hissed softly, glaring down at the woman with a hurt look. And just a tiny bit of hope. It was not at all in her nature to do this. Not really. Just like when she was a hollow, she just had to push her feelings away. Push away how much she cared about Yetsuna. But..... she had to survive. She'd fucked up. Even now she didn't know what the fuck she was doing. this had all just been a spar. And now.... infront of so many people.... she was so very close to strangling the life out of Yetsuna. Shizuyoko felt her pulse beating in her ears.
Shit...
If this went south...
She'd have to kill every last one of them...
She had to be sure. And so she FORCED her reiatsu into the woman's body. Shoving Yetsuna's reiatsu back into her body and suddenly filling the girl's mind with her own spirit. All at once she was channeling the essence of her zanpaku'to by the point pressing against her back, and through that point, Yetsuna would feel it. Her Zanpaku'to would feel it. In that hidden world of Yetsuna's, her zan didn't...invade it. It couldn't just barge in uninvited. But it was like... Yetsuna was on the ocean. and a massive tidalwave was on the horizon, and as lightning flashed behind the wave, she would be able to see the dark sillhouette of the monster that Shizuyoko was.
Enormous. Ghastly.
Seven heads, seven tails. So large that it seemed to take up the horizon. And fourteen deep, yellow eyes, glaring down at her.
Post by Yetsuna Yishnir on Dec 12, 2016 17:24:03 GMT -5
And just like that the situation started to go south. She felt a blade press against her back, it didn't take her long to figure Yetsuna was using one of her tails to do the deed, but that was the least of her concerns. Again the blonde began to coil her tails around her, and with the blade pressed against her back and their close quarters there was nothing she could do to keep away. "Well....shit," she thought to herself as a tail began to coil around her throat, "Where's this heading now?"
All of the tails applied pressure against her body, though the only one she cared about was the one around her throat for obvious reasons. Shizuyoko began to speak, though her voice was different from before, not in a possessed sort of way like earlier, but more like she had just become an emotionless killer, which did concerned Yetsuna a bit, something the blonde would likely notice by the look on her face. Despite her concern she still managed to find words to respond to her friend though they were somewhat strained due to the tail around her throat, "Who cares what you did while you were a hollow? All that matters is what you do now, who you are now. You're not some monster."
Her answer wasn't satisfactory to the blonde however and she began to feel a rather odd sensation pour into her from the tip of Shizuyoko's blade. She was funneling her reaitsu into her, trying to forcibly project an image into Yetsuna's mind, an image of a giant serpent surrounded by the crashing waves of a stormy ocean. Even though it was a mental image something about it felt eerily to being pulled into her inner world by Ishio. Even though Shizu hadn't said so explicitly Yetsuna knew she was looking at the core of who Shizu was.
To say it was surprising would have been an understatement, she was actually at a loss for words for a moment. Such a large and evil looking beast to be resting inside such a warm spirited girl didn't really seem possible, but here it was. Yetsuna felt conflicted for a moment, which one was the real Shizu? The blonde she had met all those years ago or this monster? Were both one in the same? Was the beast before her actually a monster or did it just look like one? She honestly had no idea what to think.
There would be a long pause while Yetsuna tried to work through her emotions and thoughts, one that was likely long enough to possibly give Shizu some reason for concern, but eventually she found her response, and a good idea on how to show she meant it. Yetsuna, with the help of Ishio, grabbed ahold of the reitsu being forced into her a pulled on it, dragging the blonde into her soul. There would be a small jolt to Shizu's conscious as she got dragged somewhat forcibly into someone else's inner world, but when she recovered she'd know where she was.
In front of her would be Yetsuna, standing in her full grace, no signs of injury, wear, or tear, and a short distance behind her would be her Zan spirit, a tall man with long sandy blonde hair wearing a black robe. Shizu would also notice that she was back in her shinigami form, tails and all. With a inhale Yetsuna began to talk her voice warm and sweet, "Listen, you're my friend, not some monster, I don't care what you think or what form your in. Your past as a hollow, as a human, none of that matters to me. What DOES matter is the person before me right now, and I like that person, I like her a lot. If I didn't trust you, if I didn't CARE for you, you think I'd bring you in here? Do you think he would have helped me do it if I didn't have a soft spot for you?"
As she finished speaking Yetsuna would shift her weight onto her right hip and cross her arms with a small smile on her face, "So you tell me, do you think you're my friend?"

Shizuyoko stared, at.... a loss as she tried to process everything that was happening. The sudden pull into the woman's inner world, the sight of Yetsuna just standing before her. As well as that zan spirit. And... well... of course. Shizuyoko's Zanpaku'to spirit would be there too. It was a much, much smaller version. Instead of eight heads, it had only seven, and a separate snake seemed to be slithering among them. Both zanpaku'to spirits, only about forty feet in height. Between the two of them, they seemed to be largely just eyeing Yetsuna from their position.
And of course.... Shizu didn't know what to do. The woman had.... seemed just so... accepting. Even with all that theyd seen. She felt herself frowning, looking down at the body that Yetsuna had pushed her into. She paused, staring at the woman from across the way, and those bright yellow-green eyes narrowed gently as they seemed to put her on the spot. Shizuyoko paused, thinking it over for just a moment as she took in their...unique surroundings.
"You say this.... but you force me back into this form." She murmured softly, looking down at herself before she took a step toward Yetsuna, and those eyes cut slits in the woman's direction, seeming inecredibly distrusting. She wanted to believe it, but..... it wouldn't be that easy. No, she had an idea of how to know for sure. Then well... then she would have to deal with the idea of a shinigami being so.... fond of her. Just like her ex-fiance had been... Though at the time she supposed they had both been human. Was it really the same?
GHAHH, ENOUGH OF THAT! WHY was she thinking of something so stupid?! This had gone on far enough. It was time to just get this over with. With a firm stride, she immediately invaded Yetsuna's personal space, aiming to grab them by the front as she almost immediately let out a gruff little hiss, her voice like a snake's as she spoke. "Prove it. Let me return to my other form. And THEN embrace me. And.... if you can.... then I will accept your...friendship. I'll even scale myself down to make it easy." She noted in that acidic tone. She was sure Yetsuna would never embrace her eight-headed self.
And once she saw that. She'd just kill her. Her and everyone that had been around to watch.

It seemed Yetsuna's gesture of friendship to the blonde had a rather interesting consequence to go with it; Shizuyoko brought her Zanpaktou spirits with her as well, but that wasn't the thing that really caught her eye. The spirit being there was unexpected to be sure, but so was the fact it was 40 feet tall. If it hadn't been for the fact she was in the middle of trying to have a deep and profound moment with her friend there would have been a comment about it and the a bone she had to pick with it too, but both of those could wait, at least for now.
The green haired woman shared her thoughts and feeling about the situation with her friend and waited for her reply, though the one she got wasn't exactly the one she had expected. More then anything the blonde seemed to be concerned with the choice of body Yetsuna had given her, rather then the fact she was literally in her friend very soul. With a smile and laugh she began to explain, "Haha, I chose that because that's how I've know you my entire life, besides, it's nicer to look at a cute blonde then a snake," the second half of her comment was laden with her trademark smart ass-ness as she tried to get Shizu to laugh.
"I don't mind the snake though, I really don't. I had hoped bringing you here would have proven that point, but if I need to go a bit further to drive that point home I'm willing to do it." Even the most socially dense person would have been able to tell that Yetsuna meant what she had said, and she was ready to prove it. Her life as a shinigami had showed her lots of things good and bad, but one thing she always tried to remember was that looks were just looks.
In her life she had met arrancar who were better people then some of the most upstart shinigami and she had also met shinigami who were worse then some of the sinners in hell. That was why she always tried to talk to someone before a real fight, she didn't wanna hurt someone just because they had a certain appearance, the history of the Gotei already had a lot of bodies in it because of that. Looks were a pleasant thing to observe, but more than that mattered the person behind them, and Shizu mattered a lot.
Shizuyoko would do whatever she required to change, the end result being a horse-sized snake sitting in front of the green haired woman. With another smile she uncrossed her arms and took the few steps she need to be within hugging distance of the woman. She wrapped her arms around an area that could be equated to a neck on a snake and squeezed slightly, not enough to hurt or choke, but enough to show that she was actually invested in the hug. "So, you still think I'm pulling you leg?" she asked cracking a bad joke with a warm tone.

Shizuyoko opened her eyes, and they were back in reality. Just as quickly, as if not a second had passed in that sudden draw into Yetsuna's inner world. Suddenly she felt that exhale, thaty sudden rush of anger leaving her body as she watched Yetsuna calmly, her eyes fixed on the woman's face, as if trying to see something beyond it. But when the moment passed, she could not help the soft smile that passed over her features. All at once it almost seemed like she was her normal self again. Stepping forward, she reached out, and gently placed her hand on Yetsuna's shoulder, taking a slow, steady breath.
"I suppose you are my friend... whatever that means." She noted softly, taking a moment to consider their conditions, she was a little exhausted, and Yetsuna no doubt hurting after that last exchange. She thought for a moment. They did need to settle this though, friends or not. The question as to which of them was stronger. With a gentle roll of her shoulders, Shizuyoko smiled. "I think we should rest." She suggested, taking just a moment to look around at the spectators.
"And when we come back. We're going to finish this. With our Zanpaku'to. I will use everything I have in order to put you down. So don't go holding anything back." She noted with that soft, sweet smile of hers, the kind she always wore when she was about to rip somebody apart. True, the fact of the matter was that she did consider Yetsuna her friend, but that didn't mean she was going to lose for them. She still didn't like Yetsuna's shikai, she had a VERY weak weapon after all. But what really was the problem was that the only part of yetsuna that was open was her face and head. So she was going to have to cut them there, because she was very aware that she certainly wasn't going to be landing any hits anywhere else. Chances were that she'd probably have to stab Yetsuna in the face. But hey, they would still be friends right?
