Type: Prodigy V2 [Reiatsu Strength Boost, Healing Expertise Boost, 1 Class Early Techs, Speed Cut]-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Name: Previously: Karnes, Victor. Currently: Nameless
Age of Death: 17
Real Age/Age of Appearance: 59/Indeterminable amount of Blob Years
Birthday (Month/Day): 2/29
Blood Type: O---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Appearance-Height/Weight: 7 Feet Tall, 5 Feet Deep, 4 Feet Wide.
His weight stays an average of 470 lbs.
Physical Description: Setting 7 Feet tall, the monstrosity known as Victor, more commonly referred to as the Skin Walker Hollow, is a rather bulky monster. There are two major traits to Victor's form: His mask and his Hollow Hole, set 17 inches below his mask. His general consistency also stays the same, but the form and shape of the appearance varies based upon the monsters need. The mask has a very particular look to it, in that it shows no teeth. The oval shaped mask, always setting 6 inches from the top of the body, is 11 inches in length from chin to forehead and is 7 inches in diameter at it's widest point. 4 inches below the top, and 1 inch apart on both sides of the vertical axis lies two empty sockets, both 2 inches in diameter. From these, an orange tentacle pattern spreads out from the eye sockets towards the outside of the mask in a pattern reminiscent of a sideways hourglass, neither sets of tentacles going up, down, or towards the other empty socket, only outward towards the edge of the mask. Below this sits an upside down crescent that rises from the left side of the mask, goes almost midway up, stopping underneath the eyes before curving down towards the other side, a perpetual frown covering the mask. When feeding, the cheeks do not low, but rather the bottom half of the crescent almost detaches, save for a small sliver at the end of each side that holds the mask together. During this time, the mouth looks like a spiral of gnashing teeth, though the spiral doesn't seem to lead to anywhere in particular and can not be seen when looking at the mask from behind. While on the subject, the mask, from the back, looks entirely different than what the front of the mask does.
The back half of the mask is a solid white with claw marks raking down the mask. While you would expect to see empty sockets, the back of the mask actually has closed eyelids and a humanistic face, appearing as if a plaster mold of a human's face, the exact moment of the poor man's most agonizing moment constantly pressed into his formless mass. This side has the same crack on the mouth section as the front, but in reverse, looking like a perpetual smile that rises from the edge of the lips to where the ears would be, though the mask itself has the impression of a terrible frown. The entire mask seems to be covered with thin black lines, as if it were ready to crack at any moment and shatter, taking the dead man's consciousness with it. Unlike the reverse side, there are no tentacle marks coming from the eyes, but there is a tear straight down the eyes, as if torn out by claws, and a tear across the eyes, leaving a permanent cross on the closed eyelids.
Below the mask lies the hollow hole. This is particular because, although the rest of his body moves around his mask, his hollow hole always seems to stay in the same, consistent place. It resides below his mask, several inches. As with most hollows, this is the previous location of the once Plus Souls heart and emotion: Now turned into a desolate void that even his power can't fill with, whether it's with his own form or the souls of others. This hole, as always, goes clear through him, giving his amorphous form a hollow tube in the center that could be seen as his "core" location, though his body movies in whichever direction he decides to roll at the time.
The most obvious factor of Victor's appearance after Hollowfication is his entire body: He is a large ball of black liquid. There are various differences in his appearance based upon the layer you see. The outer layer, which is the most dense and static, appears to be a thin purple and black membrane, though upon touch it is quickly concluded that it is quite permeable, allowing most forms of matter to quickly enter, the exception being liquids, as his inner density is usually higher than the outer density, leaving the water to simply slide off like it would for a normal person. When this layer of flesh comes in contact with an object, it seems to shake slightly and retract, like a child who puts his hand on something hot only to pull it away. Thus it can be assumed that, although there's no logical way for it to occur as there are no nerves, Victor actually feels through this thin membrane as if it were skin. The way this happens is that all the outer layer of the flesh is connected to the mask and it senses through there. The texture of the exterior, if you get close enough to touch it without being consumed, would remind one of a balloon. It has almost no features and is smooth at every angle in this base state. Unlike a balloon, however, the reaction to pressure is active and done through conscious effort, so it doesn't instantly spring back when pressure is removed, but rather slowly regains it's form.
Within this mass of purple liquid lies the most attention grabbing aspect of the being. Within the form, beneath the outer layer of "flesh" lies an eternally swirling maelstrom of liquid and energy. Though it can be considered semi-transparent due to being a liquid, anything viewed through this liquid is distorted. The color becomes darker due to the medium being of darker colors, and the object seems to be shifted a few inches or feet, depending on perspective: Much like looking at a straw through a glass of water. Depending on the depth and Victor's Reiatsu Strength, the goop seems to be darker and darker. At around 100 RS, his insides are like a dark puddle, the other side clearly visible, though shaded. At 200, It becomes like a pond, though clear enough to see through with some ability. At 400 RS, Victors insides look like the depths of the ocean, as if staring into a pitch black void with no bottom.-Personality-Dislikes:
Home town - The memories never leave Victor, but whenever he sees this town, he can never see it for what it is, only what it was. His memories overlap and he simultaneously sees everyone running around and playing like when they were kids, but also sees their graves and withered bodies all over the place, even though the corpses are long gone and have turned to dust and shattered bone.
His nature as a hollow - On the surface, Victor tries to portray himself as a nice person. Although almost all of his actions and decisions are made based on the idea of survival and feeding, he forces himself to think that that just is what happens to good people. He makes himself believe that those are secondary motivators and not the primary reason for his actions.
Reflections- Mirrors are an issue to Victor. Just seeing his own reflection causes his personality to get more violent. This is because Victor knows he is a hollow, and knows he is a hunter, but refuses to acknowledge the facts. Seeing his form, which can only be used to hunt and eat people and never hold them or extend a hand in friendship forces him to temporarily acknowledge his true nature. This causes him to become much more honest with the deeper parts of his mind, which desires only to eat and hunger for more souls.
"Lone Wolf" types - Victor detests the idea of people thinking they are strong enough to do everything alone. One reason for this is because he wasn't strong enough on his own to protect anything, but the one who took everything from him, including his humanity, was strong enough to do so on his own. So he views people who have that power as a potential slaughterer. But this is also due to his Hollow-Nature telling him to avoid those who are strong enough to survive alone. Deep down he knows that these are people not to attempt to feed on, as they usually have too much pride.
The Sun - The Sun and heat in general are an issue for Victor. He doesn't quite have a weakness to it, but he feels it different than others. Due to his body shape, he feels the light and heat beating down on his entire body without much respite. Another reason, though much darker in nature and part of his inner self's thoughts, is that in the shadows he can hide himself better and can ambush people better. Hunting in the light is nearly suicide when you are a giant black monster.
The Full Moon - This aversion comes from his dislike of the light, and his memories of what he has seen people do to each other under the cover of moonlight. He believes the moonlight brings out monsters within everyone, and fears it bringing out the monster within him. His internal dislike of this object is both the light it provides which reveals him and the solitude it faces, being our only moon.
Blatant Violence - As a man who has seen so much violence, Victor has an intense dislike of open violence. He won't commit open violence if there are observers. He believes that having witnesses seeing violence will only breed more violence. His true motive for this is a desire to avoid being seen hunting his prey.
People hunting humans and shinigami- Victor hates people that hunt for no other reason than to hunt. Unlike his other "rationalized" dislikes and likes, this one is entirely unknown to him why he dislikes it. The truth is this is a Hollow impulse that dislikes competitors. Along with this, it helps his "cover" of being an ally to those who aren't hollows.
Hollowfication - Along the same vein, Victor hates seeing the process of new Hollows being born. It increases the number of hunters and causes the "food supply" to shrink if they are too numerous. However this one has been rationalized and seeing the process causes him to remember his own Hollowfication.
Collateral damage (Both People and Objects) - Victor, on the surface, believes in keeping collateral damage to the minimum in order to let others live safe and happy lives. Underneath that flimsy reasoning, however, lies a motive that fits his race perfectly. His body is not meant for aimless destruction and feeding. He must feed carefully due to his nature as a solitary predator. He picks singular targets and makes them vanish from existence as food. This is because causing mass casualties would create a panic, causing his food supply to escape and possibly bringing intervention to the world he inhabits and hunts in.Likes:
Sentient beings - Victor has an attraction towards any sentient being that he can talk to and make contact with. This is due to them being the only people worthy to hunt, as mindless animals are generally worthless for a Hollow to hunt, and even less useful for him to merge with. If he can talk his way into being an ally, he can convince them it is a good idea to work with him. If they move purely by instinct, he might never get that chance. He rationalizes this by stating he just needs someone to talk with.
Partners - By Nature, Victor is a being that requires cooperation to hunt. Whether he and another hunt cooperate to eat a soul, or whether he cooperates with his host until he he devours them, Victor always treats his partners with respect, even if he dislikes them. He is very passive in how he speaks to them. Victor believes this is due to his fear of loosing friends, and that treating them well will create a longer lasting bond. The Hollow part of him knows that he truly does this to put his target at ease while he slowly devours them from within. If he makes them uncomfortable, they may realize what is happening to their body, so he does whatever he can to make his host blissfully unaware and happy.
Studying - A very un-hollow like passion that Victor prides himself on. He enjoys his desire to study and analyze the world around him, as he believes this is the furthest thing from what a Hunter would do. The instincts within him have planted this thought in him so that he would study his targets, study their methods, and make them easy to take over and consume, as well as creating an ideal hunting strategy.
Partying - Victor enjoys partying: Either being part of an advneturing party or going to actual parties and banquets. He finds them all fascinating and enjoys them to their fullest. Another of Victor's personality traits that was heavily influenced by his own hunting ideaology: If he can blend into a large group, then that groups allies won't wildly shoot him and hunt him. His inner self has a belief that most people won't risk the collateral damage for one hollow.
Being Relied On - Victor, as a person has always believed that being relied on is something to live for. He believes this due to his father's life style and his own pre-death lifestyle. However, as a Hollow, this has manifested much stronger. He has, what seems like, an addiction to being relied on. He wants people to rely on him as much as possible, as it makes it easier to eat them later. In general, helping people and getting relied on is like getting a hit of a drug for him, though he doesn't seem to realize it and only knows he wants to "help" people.
The Night - Victor loves the darkness. He enjoys staring at the sky when he can and enjoys moving around at night. In truth, his hollow instincts have awakened and make him prefer being active at night, where he can be more stealthy and less noticeable.
Subterfuge - Victor finds pleasure in subterfuge, but not in breaking his word. He seems to enjoy tricking people into accepting him, but at the same time respects those who are intelligent enough to trick him.Flaws:
Conflicting Nature;Delusional - Victor lives thinking of himself as a special being: A hollow with a heart. He believes that there is nothing that changed about him and that other Hollows were just evil spirited people before becoming Hollows. He doesn't realize that his Hollow Nature has permeated every aspect of his being. There's no trait he kept from when he was alive that wouldn't benefit him as a hunter that focuses on deceit. He lost some traits, but seems to have forgotten them ever existing.
Mentally Vulnerable - Victor is not mentally stable, even for a monster of a hollow. His internal conflict makes him very vulnerable to mind games. He also can't deal with being figured out. He refuses to acknowledge his Hollow Nature and if he is faced with it or someone proves it to him that he is infact a monster, and not a person anymore, he will have a temporary mental breakdown until time passes and he seals up the memory or rationalizes their statements as lies or something of the like.
Strong Hollow Like Presence - Victor's reiatsu is very definitive as a Hollow. Someone that can feel his aura would be confused, as his true self is a very cunning hunter. When melded with a host, the host may be seen as a Hollow if their presence isn't as strong as his, causing friendly fire to be an issue if the allies rely mostly on reiatsu to aim their attacks.
Insatiable, but Unknown hunger - Victor's hunger knows no limits. If he had his way, he would devour the entire world in one swift gulp and move onto the next world he could find. His hunger masquerades, even to Victor, as a desire to help people and have them rely on him. It's similar to a drug that constantly gnaws at him if he is un-merged with a host, forcing him to seek out someone to merge with who he can help, then devour.
Clingy - Victor hunts by merging with people and then devouring them. But until he gets close enough to his host he is unable to devour them outright. To that end, Victor is very clingy when he has a host, attempting all he can to make the host focus solely on him, while he focuses solely on the host. If the host gets away, he looses food and looses his fix of relief from his hunger.
Selfish - Unknowingly, Victor does whatever he can for his own ends. He thinks of others, but only to the extent that they can help him. He only helps people as it helps himself.
Detached - Victor doesn't get emotionally attached to any host for any reason. He himself notices and just assumes that it is a trait of those that have seen too much death. The truth is much worse: As A hollow, victor devours people, and Victor's method of devouring means any person he would get close to would likely just create conflict with his purpose of turning people into food. This only extends to new hosts however. People Victor has been merged with and has released without eating tend to have a better emotional connection with him.
True to his word - A holdout from Victor's life. This weakness is blatant honesty when it comes to making an oath. Whenever Victor uses his actual name in a deal, he is bound by his humanity, what little of it remains, to honor that word. Though it might be unintentional, this is a method of gaining people's trust, and spreading that trust around via word of mouth, making it easier for Victor to find willing hosts that he does not swear an oath to. Those who die can't say anything negative about Victor and those that live will call him an honorable ally, leading to a boost in his reputation, or so his instincts tell him.Habits:
Mimics behavior patterns - In an effort to be more personable and to help his host and limit his interference in their life, Victor practices mirroring the behavior of those he talks to. He will try to alter his form into a shape that has the general outline of the other participant in a conversation and will slowly pick up on their habits and will mimic them. This has been done so long it has become a habit of his own and he doesn't even realize he is taking on their habits most of the time.
Very Indirect speech pattern - Victor talks in circles a lot and leads people to make certain conclusions that he sees as beneficial to himself. He doesn't answer questions with a straight answer and usually tries to guide questions away from himself and back towards other individuals. When he does answer, he uses round-about answers that don't usually answer the question. He also likes to guide the other parties train of thought to better coincide with his. This comes from his time in life where he tried not to be the center of attention.
When he has them, compulsively writhes his hands, as if washing them under water - This is a very common trait for those who believed their hands are stained with blood. This is one of the few traits not wiped out by his transformation into a hollow and serves no purpose as a Hunter. He methodically "Scrubs" his hands whenever he has hands and they are not occupied. This is usually done when alone or when not observing someone, as in that scenario he is more likely to mimic their hand movements than to use his own.
Referring to himself in the 3rd person, and never by name - Victor doesn't believe he has a name anymore. He believes that his current form doesn't have the right to be referred to as the same name as other people refer to him as. As a hunter, Victor being nameless neither helps nor hinders. Though the reason he refuses to say his own name is because, deep down, he acknowledges that he isn't human anymore: He isn't who he used to be.
Asking questions mid combat - Whether of his host, of himself, or of the enemy, Victor will randomly talk to people to gauge their thoughts, hopefully make them lower their guards, or just to increase his own knowledge. He might even ask questions he knows the answer to, just to re-confirm his knowledge.
Referring to the one he binds with as "Partner", oddly reminiscent of a zanpaktou - Though he doesn't refer to himself by name, Victor will refer to himself as "your partner" when he is melded with someone. This is an effort to make them get along better and to remove his name from their mind. He doesn't know it, but this also serves to calm shinigami he merges with, as they are used to calling their Zanpaktou their partner as well.Fears:
Facing his Denial- Victor knows the truth of how his village was exterminated, but he refuses to face the fact that he was the cause by any definition. He also refuses to face hi Hollow Nature. If forced to face this knowledge, Victor could either turn into a mass of ooze that devours anything it touches, or he could give up on devouring anything at all for some time, depending how severe and what kind of knowledge he is forced to face.
Loneliness/Solitude - Victor is terrified to be alone with his own thoughts. If he doesn't have contact with other people for extended periods of time, his mind will start to fracture and he will start to form parts of his matter into "dolls" to talk with. In this state, he loses most of his mental faculties and essentially withdraws into his own world until he senses another being in the area, after which he will quickly chase them down and try to talk to them.
Not being able to prevent humans from their abominable rituals - Victor fears humans. More accurately, he fears what humans do to each other. If he sees any kind of "ritual" taking place that requires a sacrifice, willing or not, he will attempt to overtake the sacrifice and remove them from that place. If they have still lost all will to live, he will eat them himself. If they desire to live when remove from the mob, he will let them leave. This over-rides all of his self-preservation instincts and even his instinct to devour.
His own reflection of the reversed side of his mask (if he has a mirror that shows him his own back, essentially) - Any time he is force to see the reverse side of his mask, which is a very uncommon scenario, as that can only be seen when looking through Victor's blob body and towards his Hollow Mask, he has a mental breakdown. This tends to cause him to stop "ingesting" the host and to leave the area if possible. This reminds him of his last moments as Plus and brings his entire life leading up to that moment flooding into his mind, leaving him scared and alone.
The color pink: This is an odd fear, but it is one that he has to face quite commonly, so it is less severe than the others, but in certain forms can trigger the other fears. Pink is a color that reminds him of his life as a human, more specifically, of his last day as a human and his first day as a plus. This can lead to facing his own denial if the pink is in the form of a necklace. Other versions of pink simply slow his reaction time. Other forms of pink, such as coats and flowers make him focus on that object much more intently than a normal person would due to his distrust of it.Goals:
To find a long-term hunting partner - One of Victor's primary goals is to find a partner he views as non-expendable and to guard them and follow them, hunting with his new host until they both achieve their goals. Victor hopes that this host will be someone with a like-minded goal and someone he can share eternity with.
To be strong enough to protect his partner - Victor desires to feed on most people. But there have been a few people he desired not to feed on, both because of emotional attachment built up over years, or due to a desire to spend eternity with these partners. In this case, Victor wants to be able to defend his ally from any and all attacks, and to allow them to live comfortably with him as their source of protection.
(Hidden) To Rise to the Top of the Food Chain - A goal inherent in all hollows, but not one Victor knows he is actively following: He desires to become the strongest predator in the world, though the definition of strongest varies based on who is viewing it: In Victor's case, he desires to be able to no longer fear his hunger, but to accept and embrace it. He wants to be strong enough to eat without being disguised.
(Hidden) To Face what he truly is - Running contrary to his other goal of getting to the top of the food chain, this goal is to pin down his Hollow Instinct and take it over, becoming a human-minded hollow (Arrancar, though he doesn't know the term or what it means.)
To make "allies" and make people owe him something. - Victor desires to have people look up to him and owe him their life. He believes such people will work hard for him and will eventually become his best hosts.
To be important to someone powerful - Opposite of the previous, Victor hopes to one day save the life of someone powerful and have their lives owed to him. If he can accomplish this, he would be one step closer to becoming the top of the food chain.Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Overall Personality:
The most prevalent aspect of Victor's personality is his delusions of insignificance. At his very base level, Victor believed, when he was alive, that supporting characters in the main story of others was a necessity and the devotion he had seen in the supporting characters had been stronger than the devotion of the main characters in the stories; who had to wrestle with agonizing choices. The supporting characters merely based their decisions off one person and that was all that mattered. Victor was deeply impressed by that idea and devoted his life to supporting people he came across. When he was alive, this was just an aspect of his life, but after death his Hollow hole tore out part of his heart that cared for anything, so now he has the desire to support others and help them, but no longer can feel the satisfaction of having helped people for more than brief periods of time. He used to be able to think of others and how he helped them, but now his Hollow Instincts have attempted to force him to think of himself as a main character in a story to a terrifying degree. He can no longer think of how he has helped people in the past altruistically. Now he can only remember helping people if it somehow helped him. If it gained him an ally, eliminated an enemy, or gave him a tool to manipulate others. This has made Victor terribly dependent on being merged with others, as the only time he can feel as if he can Altruistically help others is when their stories intersect, and when he has merged with them. This drives one of his future goals: Finding a partner he can stay merged with. Finding someone he can guard who won't die by being with him, so that their stories can forever intertwine. However, as his hollow techniques keep devouring people, it is unlikely.
This has led to a sort of split in Victor's personality. He knows, inside, that his Hollow instincts have taken over and have caused him to loose most of himself, but he also has all his memories of life, and forces himself to try to live according to them, hoping against logic that if he keeps up the act long enough, he will eventually regain some of what he once lost. The only downside, however, is that he only regains what he lost when he is devouring people. He refuses to acknowledge this as the only way and constantly fights, his self-preservation instincts fighting against his knowledge of what he should do. However, several of Victor's memories have been tainted by this new instinct, and he now sees those once clear events as hazy images. Only the most horrible moments are still burned into his memory as clear as day. This is a way for his instincts to force him to turn away from his human memories, by making them painful to reflect on. Due to this, Victor has come to see some events in his history differently than they were and has caused his understanding of the world to shift.
In his altered view of the world, where only the negative memories have survived, Victor now sees the world he lived in as if nothing good ever happened. He views all the honesty and caring he had as weakness, as in the end, it only led to suffering he could not prevent, and being cruel and conniving in the past may have saved many lives. So he views trickery and deceit as a requirement to survive and as one of the signs of the strongest in the world: The one who can make the enemy believe they are weak, is the winner. However, like many parts of his personality, Victor refuses this logic vehemently and has come to a sort of understanding. Dishonesty and deceit are perfectly legitimate tools in his eyes, however lying and breaking ones oath is a sign of true weakness. It means that, without altering the state of the board, you couldn't win. In chess, it would be the equivalent of saying any one of your pieces was the queen. That isn't strength, but a blunt betrayal of the rules, and Victor has held onto this belief through his entire life and even through his transformation. The one thing he hates more than lying is people who spout on and on about honor. A confliction borne of his conflict, for Victor honor is not just your oath. It is your dead-set conviction to die. For him, honor has no place in the world, as it is merely a tool made for the strong to force the weak into giving up. Thus Victor will not put his life forward for another for honor, though he might if he is tricked into it, or if someone plays off his mental weakness: His desire to return to being human.
Other than the conflict within him over his human nature, Victor is very hollow like and almost all aspects of his action are based, at least partly, on eating others and becoming the strongest, while minimizing risk to himself. He desires to climb the ever extending ladder and hopefully winding up on top of the food chain. This desire isn't something Victor acknowledge or even realizes, but this drives him to keep eating and it stems from his instincts as hollow, and the sense of deprivation it forces into his personality. Deep down, he believes that if he eats everything and everyone, then he will eventually fill the hole inside himself with what is inside others. However, Victor's human thoughts betray this constantly and have created another, illusory, way to retain and regain part of his personality. He believes that, if enough people view him as a human stuck in a hollow's body, he can return to being human. He feels that, as the main characters in his life, they have that power and can make it so. This leads to some of Victor's more "altruistic" actions, aiming to get people to say "Are you really a hollow?"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Powers-
Fighting Style:
To Victor, Fighting is a means to an end. If there was no war, if there was no violence, he would cease to be useful and cease to be able to gain praise as being a "Kind Hollow" even as he devours people. To that end, Victor can often be found in battlefields, hiding in the cracks no one notices, covering the ground that people pass by without thinking. Before a battle start's Victor is careful and calm. This is the apex of his instinct as a Hollow. He carefully and calmly analyzes the situation. He looks to see who is weak enough to need assistance, but strong enough to win if assisted. Before a battle, ironically, Victor is at his most ruthless and primal. He will not join a fight unless he is confident that he can either devour his new-found host, or can gain some other benefit, such as leaving a lasting positive impression on someone of power Victor may meet later. For Victor, the battle starts the moment two people come near each other. He begins sizing them up immediately and, if he believes their is a conflict, he will watch and get close enough to pounce on an unsuspected "ally" as soon as the need appears.
Victor's first step in a battle is to find a host. Without a host, Victor is slow, weak, and generally a poor combatant. This is because he is, by nature, a coward. Without a host or an advantage, he will attempt to flee the fight before he even makes eye contact with the enemy. However, once Victor has found a host and has joined together with them, either forcefully or by choice, then his tactics become as far from running as possible. Victor's first act, after merging with his host, is almost always to coat them in an armor of ooze. This is his base state. While coating a host, Victor talks to them through the fight, whispering in their ear. He offers advice, tactics, and insight. But most importantly, and above all, he offers power. He offers his host things such as a blade that he need not worry about damaging. A body which can take the pressures of movement better. A shield to block the enemies attack. And eventually, he even offers them a body that refuses to die. All of this is offered, but nothing is forced. He merely gives options, he gives choices, and he gives power. Through that, he takes you. He takes your body, he takes your wisdom, and eventually, he takes your soul, feeding on you like countless other souls before you. That is the nature of the beast.
While in control of a host, though unlikely, Victor has two distinct traits. He attempts to avoid all fatal injuries, until he unlocks the ability to resurrect people from them, and he deliberately aims to get his host hurt. This is contrary to what the host imagines is necessary, but Victor will only offer deceit. Most of the time, when his host is injured, due to his inaction or his action, he will say things like "It was for the best." or "That was the best I could do." Inside these clever phrases are no lies. Indeed, for Victor, the more his host becomes damaged and relies on his healing powers ,the more he permeates the host, eventually reaching 100% Assimilation. At this point, Victor can either release the host after combat or, more likely, devour their soul from the inside out. Devouring the host is Victor's primary means of feeding and, as far as hollows go, it is one of the slowest, but hardest to resist. For if Victor has reached 100% Assimilation, his body exists throughout yours and ever small bead of sweat in your body is already laced with his ooze, which he can retract inside himself all at once, feeding on the host before they realize they have even been consumed.
Other than the host, Victor's combat focuses on confusion and shock value. He might create a pitch-black sword made of his ooze and swing at the enemy, only to extend it three times the length of the original blade by stacking blades on the end. All of this would be aimed at confusing the opponent and making them cautious, making them question what all his abilities are, while simultaneously attempting to infect the enemy with as much ooze as he possibly can as well. The best outcome for Victor would be both the host and the enemy becoming 100% assimilated by him, and both being devoured simultaneously.
Overall Ability: Victor is a slightly unique hollow in that his form is not static and is instead made up of a 4th dimensional liquid that increases in density according to his Reiatsu Strength. Due to his semi-liquefied state, he can alter his body into many shapes and equipment, changing to suit the situation. However, as he is a Hollow, Victor's primary use of his body is to eat souls, and that hasn't changed from a regular hollow, though the method is a bit more complicated. Victor devours by infecting a host, slowly seeping into their body. The more they use his power, the deeper he can sink into their soul, blurring the line between host and parasitic agent. When they have become one being, with 100% assimilation, Victor can devour his host and all of his techniques become easier to use. Victor has very few ranged attacks, as all of his attacks are made out of the manipulation of his body or the application of healing reiatsu to his host, which has become part of his.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Overall Mechanic Name: Assimilation Meter
Overall Description and Effects : Many of Victor's techniques cause a phenomenon to occur known as assimilation. As this meter rises, and it gets closer and closer to 100%, the hosts body feels lighter and faster. Any ooze limbs move with less and less uncomfortable feelings, eventually feeling as if they were part of the hosts own body, even feeling as complete as the original. The truth, however, is that the host is becoming more and more ooze, eventually turning into a monster made of ooze without even realizing it. When the Assimilation is 100% and Victor is out of combat, he must quickly make a choice: Release the host, Hold off on feasting, or devour them. Victor can only hold off on devouring them for 5 out of combat posts. After which his body will violently expel itself, reopening all wounds healed by Victor. If he chooses to release the Host, the wounds do not re-open. And if Victor subconsciously decides to devour them, his mind will blank for a moment as their body is assimilated into his and they are devoured entirely. Afterwards, Victor will, as his nature dictates, quickly start to forget about them. After 1 post, he forgets the name of those he devours, after 2 he forgets their face, after 3 he forgets their race/body type, and after 4, they leave no impression on him whatsoever.
How to use Overall: Passive; Goes up with other techniques, lowers by 5% per post. For NPCS, rises by 10% per post instead of reducing. Ressureccion of the host reduces the meter by 50%, as do bankais and shikais that have a similar effect on changing the body of the wielder. After 100%, stops declining automatically, though techniques that modify the hosts body extensively still reduce the meter by 50%.
Overall Drawbacks Passive; Necessary to Feed; Goes down overtime; Must hit 100% to feed on a target, if it hits 0% then Victor is automatically expelled.
Assimilation Meter: At 25% Ooze Limbs move accurately and just as fast as the originals, but feel "off" and the healing Victor induces creates a weird sensation, similar to worms crawling under your skin. At 50%, the limbs are still odd, but are now just uncomfortable instead of foreign. The healing now feels like pins and needles. At 75%, Victors healing no longer evokes any feelings of discomfort, and they actually feel pleasant. That is due to the ooze coming in contact with itself and moving more fluidly. The limbs, at 75% feel as familiar as the originals. At 100%, Victor can eat any host that has allowed this to happen. Consumption is instant, though it can be reacted to by anyone who can predict it is happening.

Overall Mechanic Name: Density Manipulation
Overall Description and Effects : Victor's body isn't 3-Dimensional. Within this space that he occupies, there is ooze. This ooze is able to take up more space than is actually there. This means that for every 100 Reiatsu Strength, Victor creates a new layer of ooze within himself that adds 2 Feet to his radius [4 feet total, 2 feet per direction you are stabbing through and adds 50 Lbs for technique purposes], of ooze within himself. To stab his host, you must be able to penetrate through this extra 2 foot radius per 100 RS. If you sword does not penetrate the required distance, you only damage Victor himself, and your weapon does not make contact with the host. The host of Victor is considered in his center, so penetration is only required one direction.
How to use Overall: Passive based on Reiatsu Strength; Starts with 150 lbs. of ooze usable for techniques. After all ooze is used, Victor is little more than a paper armor and is unable to use a majority of his techniques.
Overall Drawbacks: The various layers get used in techniques, reducing the amount of the liquid void within Victor when he utilizes certain techniques. This means the more he uses his techniques, the closer the host comes to being within range of the attacks, making it a balancing act. Does absolutely nothing for Victor in terms of defense, as he has no internal organs anyway, being a hollow. His only "organ" is his hollow mask, which is on the surface. 5 lbs of ooze lost due to explosions within the ooze (such as thrown bombs that go more than 1 foot in.
===============================================================================
Techniques:
Technique Name: Form: Armor [Base Ability]
Class: Class 8-1 (Scaling with Victor's class)
Technique Type: Hollow
Usable By: Hollow
Technique Element: Flesh
Technique Description and Effects : The basic ability of Victor, this technique allows him to wrap an ally in his ooze, pulling them to the center of his body. His body takes on a darker, more opaque look and looks more like a jet black suit rather than a blob of ooze. This form is required before Victor can utilize most of his higher level Form: techniques.
How to use technique : Victor says the incantation and the soon to be host holds out their hand. Afterwards, Victor's body will turn into a long ooze similar in appearance to a snake. He will coil around their arm and then spread from their arm to the rest of their body.
If the host doesn't agree [Only possible with NPCs or by OOC agreement (THIS CANNOT BE DONE WITHOUT A PLAYER CHARACTER'S CONSENT, Therefore there is no struggle for PCs and there is no "body control" on PCs.], Victor once again turns into the snake form, but this time attempts to wrap around the neck or waist, depending on which he can reach.
It then becomes a match of Reiatsu Strength vs. Reiatsu Strength. If they win, Victor is blown away by their spiritual power, if Victor wins, he suppresses their spiritual power and takes over controlling the bodies motion. This can be avoided by attacking Victor's mask [which usually appears on the back of the host in Hostile Takeovers], causing him to recoil away. Any attack on his body seems ineffective during this Hostile Takeover, though attacks from outside sources [not the would be host] still damage Victor.
Once merged, the Host can break free by having a strength score 1.5x Victors or by initiating a Reiatsu Strength Clash. The RS Clash can only be attempted once every 2 posts. If the hosts succeeds at either, they can forcibly remove Victor.
Any Binding Technique of equal class to this technique specifically targeted at Victor can cause him to be forced off the target. If Victor's assimilation is over 75%, the technique requires a 1 class advantage, and at 100% assimilation, Binding will no longer separate Victor, instead binding both the host and Victor.
Victor can willingly allow the host to maintain control of their limbs if desired. If this occurs, the infected can not tell Victor can control their limbs until he tries to do so.
Technique Drawbacks: Can be broken free; Requirement for other techniques; Requires Consent for RPCs; Requires an Incantation;. No one which removes Victor forcibly can be affected by this technique for 5 posts.
Reiatsu Cost: 50 per rank.
Assimilation Meter: No effect.
Incantation and Effect: "Take my hand, and we will triumph." Required for the technique.

Technique Name: Form: Blades
Class: Class 4
Technique Type : Hollow
Usable By: Hollow
Technique Element: Flesh
Technique Description and Effects : Victor forges his oozey flesh into the shape of a blade. This blade is jet black, like the ooze that makes up Victor's body, and can appear from anywhere on his host that has ooze covering it, or anywhere on himself except the bone on his hollow mask. Anywhere black can become a blade. This blades size and shape aren't regulated and can come in any form. The most common form is a katana blade. A claymore with 2x the durability but half the cutting power can be made for 15 lbs of ooze. Other than the limit of ooze, Victor can create as many blades as he wants: They do not have to be wielded by hand, though they can be as long as that hand is coated in ooze or there is an ooze line leading to the rest of the ooze that the form came from. The blades spawn at 10% of Victor's speed and with 10% of Victor's strength (for slicing through ropes and stabbing enemies.)
Sword Formation is detectable with 100 Energy Sense.
How to use technique : Expends 10 Lbs of ooze; Other than that, is purely a mental command from Victor to his ooze body.
Technique Drawbacks Reduces the amount of ooze in Victor until it is retracted, preventing abilities that require more ooze from being activated. Blade strength is based on Victor's Strength, which is severely limited, meaning any strength higher than his can break the blade by crossing it horizontally. Any blade meeting his vertically or diagonally requires strength 1.5x his own. Cutting Edge strength is determined by Victor's reiatsu strength, as the compression of the edge of the blade is done by reiatsu, and not by "muscle". High energy sense, over 100, can feel the energy welling up, but can not tell why, as the reiatsu does the same for several of Victor's techniques. A full sized sword can be created and of any shape and size, but requires the proficiency to use said blade and the strength to wield it: These are not zanpaktou and are not part of the hosts soul, thus they have weight. The blade itself is not conductive, however from the guard down to the base is and will distribute any elemental damage over the entirety of the hosts body.
Sword Formation is detectable with 100 Energy Sense.
Reiatsu Cost: 120
Assimilation Meter:Does not increase assimilation meter. At 50% Assimilation, the weight of the sword is nullified. At 75% Assimilation, the strength of the sword can be increased by the hosts reiatsu strength, but this requires a blood drain and can make a host light-headed if used more than once. This state lasts until the sword is retracted, which can then return the blood [increasing Assimilation by 5%], or until the sword breaks, in which case no Assimilation is gained and no blood is returned.

Technique Name: Form: Shield
Class: 5
Technique Type : Hollow
Usable By: Hollow
Technique Element: Flesh
Technique Description and Effects : Victor causes his ooze flesh to harden in a specific spot. The defense of that spot becomes equal to Victors Reiatsu Strength. During this time, Victor can not use any techniques with the hardened ooze, including blade techniques. The ooze flesh has a static defense at the time of creation, and every attack on it reduces its defense by that amount. Once the defense hits 0, that amount of ooze is subtracted from Victor's total amount until he has time to rest.
How to use technique : Like Victor's other form shifting techniques, this only requires focus and a specific amount of ooze and Reiatsu to use. The amount required is 2 lbs per 50 damage absorb-able by the shield. At 400 Reiatsu Strength [After Type] it would require 8 lbs of ooze to guard a small 8x8 section of the body, capable of absorbing 400 damage. This ooze is considered dead after it has served it's purpose. Does nothing for Victor's assimilation meter.
Technique Drawbacks: Covers a small section of the body and causes that section to be unable to sprout blades. The section that is hardened becomes stiff, to the point that joints are locked in place unless the hosts uses strength exceeding Victor's RS, which shatters the hardened material. Maximum limit of 2 lbs per 100 Reiatsu Strength.

Technique Name: Form: Plague Lance
Class: 5
Technique Type : Hollow
Usable By: Hollow
Technique Element: Flesh
Technique Description and Effects : A much less refined version of the Form:Blade technique, this technique shoots out a lance from any part of Victor's body except his mask. This lance attacks with Victor's Physical Strength score and turns brittle and breaks directly after being used, unable to fuse back into Victor or his host. If this hits an opponent, there is a chance of infecting them with Victor's ooze. This lance causes a pound of ooze the invade the target if the attack is successful and their Reiatsu Strength is less than Victors. This infection property is used in conjunction with Form: Sword to attack the opponent from the inside and Form: Shield to freeze up an opponents joints from the inside. If strength is higher than Victor's RS, the Shield form can not freeze the joints. Requires Physical Contact to activate the released ooze.
The ooze can be burned out of the infected for 100 Reiatsu, or can be suppressed by an opponent with 200 HE or Energy Sensory for a reiatsu cost of 15 per post. After 4 posts, the ooze becomes inert.
The target can force the ooze out of their body the post of infection with a muscle flex as long as their strength is over 150 and the wound hasn't been healed.
How to use technique : Thought
Technique Drawbacks Destroys Ooze, Costs Reiatsu, Sub-attack requires physical contact. Does not increase hosts Assimilation Meter. Unlikely to cause major damage as Victor's strength is substantially weaker than the average Hollow. Costs 15 lbs of ooze, which breaks away even if the ooze doesn't hit. Resisted by the targets defensive stat vs. Victor's strength. If Victor's strength is higher, then the attack goes against Reiatsu Strength. If Victor's reiatsu strength is higher, then the damaged party is infected by the ooze.
Reiatsu Cost: 80
Assimilation Meter: No effect.

Technique Name: Form: Beast[Enhance Internal Resistance]
Class: 5
Technique Type : Hollow
Usable By: Hollow
Technique Element: Flesh
Technique Description and Effects : This technique works by strengthening the hosts muscles, tendons, and bones with a layer of ooze that functions like a support network, cushioning the force they receive from strenuous activity and techniques by taking some and distributing it away from the muscles. This causes the excess force to push out the flesh, causing wounds on the surface instead of internally. This allows techniques that have a post limit due to the stress they place on the body to be used for 20% longer (1 extra post for every 5 posts normally able to be maintained, minimum 1) or to gain 1 more use per technique. When exceeding the normal limits, the normally ruined limbs gain holes on the flesh from the excess force being redirected outward. This is extremely painful for the host, however Victor does not sense any pain as he is merely transferring the internal pain to the outside of the hosts skin.
How to use technique : This technique requires an open wound and 33% assimilation or higher. When activated this technique lasts until used and does not require upkeep from Victor's reiatsu. Can be used as many times as Victor desires, but the hosts main body can only take this excess damage once per merger and the host must be healed and rest for 8 hours before being able to take the abuse again.
Technique Drawbacks: Painful to use for the host, requires assimilation. Uses ooze enough to form an entire new limb, equaling 20 lbs. Causes wounds to appear on the flesh, meaning the force doesn't vanish, it is just redirected outward, allowing muscle and bones to survive strenuous techniques longer, but destroying flesh in the process. Does NOT increase defense in any manner; only self-inflicted forces (such as high speed movement) are redirected.
Reiatsu Cost: 100
Assimilation Meter: Increase meter by 17% when used, Technique is automatically disengaged if the host falls under the required assimilation meter.

Technique Name: Form: Caladarius[Repair missing]
Class: 7-2
Technique Type : Hollow
Usable By: Hollow
Technique Element: Flesh
Technique Description and Effects : Form: Caladarius is rather unique among Victor's healing techniques, as it is the only one that actually seeks to heal wounds, rather than replacing the limb or organ altogether. As such it requires the least ooze, the least reiatsu, and the least focus. This technique works by finding damaged tissue and coating it in ooze and over a period of 1 post it stimulates the recovery abilities of the host to have them mend their own wounds. This technique does not require any new ooze usage if the area is already covered in Victor's ooze armor, though this does remove the armor. Otherwise it uses a small amount of ooze to expand the armor to cover the wound again. These repairs are done by the host, but caused by Victor: As such, when Victor leaves, the hosts healed wounds stay healed, though Victor can re-open the wound if he wills it, as he leaves small bits of ooze in the recovered wound. Using this technique increases Assimilation meter by 5% per rank, up to a maximum of 25% at rank 3.
At Rank 7, Scratches can be healed in one post.
At Rank 5, Small Scratches can be healed instantly, larger cuts can be healed in one post.
At Rank 3, All cuts that don't remove a limb can be healed instantly, any damage to the internals of the extremities can be prevented from getting worse. Internal Bleeding damage can be slowed.
At Rank 1, All wounds, up to but excluding damage to the bones, can be healed within 2 posts, damage to the zanpaktou can be healed, but infects the Zanpaktou, turning it black and coating it in a layer of ooze. Internal damage to limbs can be mended in one post and internal bleeding can be stopped.
How to use technique : Receive damage, focus, and utilize reiatsu.
Technique Drawbacks Not instant; If Victor is made unconscious the Host keeps the repairs. Uses Ooze and reiatsu to heal. Uses 10 lbs of ooze per 5x5 square of damage that needs healed. This can only be done when Victor is attached. Healing internal organs remains impossible, though it can stop internal bleeding. Wounds fixable require two separate sides of the wound. As such, missing limbs of any severity (not even a finger) can not be repaired as that would not be a wound that could naturally be recovered from with time. Burns take 3 times the duration to repair, but only 75% of the reiatsu cost, as the burned flesh still exists and only needs fixed. However burns measuring more than 5x5 inches require multiple activation of the technique. Healing is based upon Healing Expertise, but can never fully repair missing limbs and organs, merely stopping the bleeding, as it is based upon the host's natural healing.
Reiatsu Cost: 150 to seal wounds, 75 to re-open them. Cost reduced by 75% for Burn Wounds. Increase cost by 50 per Rank.
Incantation and Effect: "Eternal Life. White feathers streaking in the sky. A mythical tear. Living Madness, Black feathers falling from the sky, a dark rain." This incantation can only be used when the other techniques are active or are activating: Doing so uses the same costs as if using the technique for it's primary ability. When this technique is used, any of Victor's defensive techniques, be it armor or shield cause the wounds to heal underneath the defense. If used during form Phoenix or Hydra, the newly created limbs have healing power that lasts as long as the limb remains. Any healing can be used by the ooze limb on either the host or a non-hosting target by the application of ooze. This only heals one 5x5 inch wound per incantation. With Form: Sword, the blade regenerates from damage caused to it constantly until deactivated or destroyed. Plague Lance causes the infection ooze to multiply in the attacked target, doubling every 3 posts, increasing Victor's assimilation of the attacked.

Technique Name: Form: Hydra [Replace Missing]
Class: 3
Technique Type : Hollow
Usable By: Hollow
Technique Element: Flesh
Technique Description and Effects : Operating on a different level than Form:Caladarius, Form:Hydra doesn't repair anything. It actually works by removing afflicted flesh and replacing it with an ooze-copy of the original. This ooze copy is connected, through Victor, to the host. This new part can only be limbs: This technique does not have the complexity to replace organs. However, any limb created by this technique can be used for the previous Form: Techniques. For instance, an arm could turn into a spear or a blade, or the hand could be hardened during a grapple without risk of the ooze being blown off the hand (as the ooze is the hand.) These limbs all use their original ooze cost to use these techniques, as the ooze is still very much alive. This technique also removes any sense of pain from the limb for the host, though Victor feels any damage inflicted upon the limbs as if he were being stabbed, as he is being stabbed, though it's strength remains the same, it's range of movement is as if it had no bones.
How to use technique : Concentration; Requires 1 Post to fully create limbs, fingers can be done instantly at host's need.
Technique Drawbacks Uses up 20 lbs of ooze per limb, 2 lbs per digit,, is not instant. Limb fades after Victor is rendered unconscious or leaves the host, the ooze limb rejoining him. Requires 25% Assimilation to use at all, as he must know the structure of the limb inside and out. This requires an assimilation of at least 45%, as Victor creates several small swords, in the shape of teeth, inside the hosts limb and then saws the limb off with the "Hydra's Teeth." This can remove the threat of poisons if the Host communicates that they believe they are poisoned, as Victor can remove the limb before it spreads. But otherwise, Victor has no way to know the host is poisoned as he doesn't share senses with the host.
Reiatsu Cost: Requires high Healing Expertise: 450 total. Requires 415 reiatsu to activate to re-create a full limb, 150 to recreate parts of the limb. If a limb is ruined, but is not destroyed (such as severe burns) the reiatsu cost is a combination of Form: Sword, which is used to remove the dead limb by slicing it off from the inside, and Form: Hydra, which then proceeds to re-grow the limb.
Assimilation Meter: Increases Assimilation by 15% per limb, to a maximum of 60% increase if all 4 limbs are under Victor's Creation. Victor can only use techniques through the limbs at will if the Assimilation levels of the host are over 50% in total. Can Not regrow internal organs or the head. Eyes require delicate control and use 25% less ooze, but use 50% more reiatsu.
Incantation and Effect: "A mythical nine-headed beast. 9 Hungry mouths. Eternally buried within the depths of stone, forever hidden in the darkness." When this chant is used, Victor can activate two abilities. If the ooze creation active at the time is a weapon, that weapon sprouts dozens of smaller versions of that weapon whenever needed. For instance, an ooze sword could shoot another ooze blade out of the side of the blade to stab unexpectedly or out of the end of the blade to extend it's reach. Any increase in this manner only lasts one attack. For defensive ooze creations, such as armor or shield, the guard can stack on itself to block one attack, such as piling two shields on top of them self, at the cost of both techniques.

Technique Name: Form: Phoenix [Resurrect]
Class: 1
Technique Type : Hollow
Usable By: Hollow
Technique Element: Flesh
Technique Description and Effects : A different form of resurrecting than Form Hydra, and requires much more Healing Expertise and Higher Assimilation levels to use. This technique allows Victor to repair or replace Organs at a rapid pace, doing so in such speed that it creates small bursts of fire where the new organ or limb originates. These new limbs are made entirely of ooze and are only connected to Victor, unless Assimilation has reached 75%, in which case they are also attached to the hosts mind. With this technique, Victor can recreate external limbs, and any organs within the host's body, with the sole exception of the brain. This uses more ooze than Form: Caladrius as it condenses the ooze down to it's purest form so that the regenerated tissue or flesh can seamlessly integrate with the host. This technique is done at such speed that it could be considered High-Speed Regeneration. False limbs can either be reduced to useless ooze after Victor de-melds with the host, or can be left attached until the host can seek further medical attention. When repairing internal organs, Victor creates small tubes towards the hosts back the siphon out the heat, creating a burst of flame behind the host whenever internal organs are healed. These bursts of flame look similar to flaming wings. If left attached, they can only remain active for 15 posts, after that Victor's reiatsu fades and the limbs become wasted ooze again: The exception to this is the heart, which can keep pumping forever, as it is made more intricately and acts like a regular heart after Victor leaves. Detecting the false heart is impossible for the host and requires Healing Expertise equal to Victor's own for another healer. Removing the false heart instantly kills the previous host, so he must be brought back quickly or will fade away. Fixing the false heart requires 2 medics: one to remove the heart and one to replace it with something similar. Heart must be removed physically, reiatsu will cause it to destabilize and instantly start breaking down. If this healing lasts more than 2 posts, the heart melts.
How to use technique : This technique is used like many of Victors others; Purely by concentration.
Technique Drawbacks Like all of Victor's techniques, this consumes a certain amount of ooze to use. It also requires relatively high Assimilation levels, and 2 posts at an Assimilation level over 50% to know the internal structures well enough to reconstruct them. Has a hefty reiatsu cost to initialize, though it's reiatsu cost to keep active is much lower. If Assimilation drops below 75%, the host looses control of the structure, which means Victor has to spend more concentration controlling it. Ooze used, due to the heat from forming, is unable to return to Victor and is essentially considered "used" for the purposes of Victor's techniques. Costs 300 lbs of ooze to regrow the heart, costs 50 lbs per other organs, as it condenses the ooze into its purest form before using it. This is reduced by a percentage cost based on how much of the limb or organ remains.
Reiatsu Cost: 900. Requires 1200 Healing Expertise.
Assimilation Meter:Increases Assimilation by 10% for limbs, and 20% for organs. Heart regrowth increases Assimilation by 25% and that level can not drop below 25% even if Victor is unattached to the host, as long as the host relies on the false heart.
Incantation and Effect: "A mythical bird: A rising flame. A soaring sun. What goes up must come down, a fallen legend: a smoldering ember. An encroaching night" When the incantation is used anyone stabbed with the weapon active at the time (Lance or Sword) instantly has the wound repaired in the same manner as the host would with the technique. When this occurs, if the strike would have been lethal, the struck individual can not take hostile action to the current host or Victor so long as they are being kept alive by the phoenix fire. They inherently know they cannot attack the ooze or they will die, and "Fade like the Falling Sun".

Technique Name: Form: Power [Ally Buff]
Class: 1
Technique Type : Hollow
Usable By: Hollow
Technique Element: Flesh
Technique Description and Effects : This technique works contrary to the primary purpose of a Hollow and actually weakens Victor's Reiatsu Strength. This technique can only be done at 80% or higher assimilation. Victor disappears from the hosts body and infects their body from their inside. In this form, Victor can still use defensive techniques and healing techniques, but any offensive techniques would pierce through the flesh of the host. The only exception is ooze limbs, which would be able to be turned into ooze weaponry as normal. In this form, Victor increases the hosts Reiatsu Strength by his own and increases his hosts speed by his own as well, while decreasing his own stats by 50% while inside the host. This is a constant reiatsu drain on Victor and can only be held for 8 consecutive posts, and can only be activated after 10 posts of being outside the host, due to Victor's hollow nature being against being inside someone, rather than having them in his "mouth."
How to use technique : Must have high assimilation: Enter through an open wound at least 6 inches in diameter. For wounds 6 inches, this technique takes 2 posts, during which time Victor can do nothing else. For wounds 10 inches or more in diameter or length, it takes one post of full concentration. For wounds larger than 1 foot in diameter or length, this can be done within half a post.
Technique Drawbacks Time Limit, High Assimilation, Lack of offense, Host must be heavily wounded for this to be done quickly, otherwise exposing them to threats that they could ward off with Victors assistance. Victor is left weakened afterwards, unable to use any technique that requires more than 15 lbs of ooze. Does not innately use ooze
Reiatsu Cost: 450 Reiatsu.
Assimilation Meter: Can not reduce over time. Increases by 6% per post until stopped or Victor consumes the host.
Incantation and Effect: None.

PROLOGUE:
From the corner of the room, a soft sobbing could be heard. For most people, this room is nearly empty, the windows letting the evening sun slowly creep in. However, in one corner, there sits a woman, her flesh black, as if burned with acid. Tears gently roll down her face as blood drips from her back and neck. What remains of her appearance seems to be a young girl, no older than 17. Her clear blue eyes are half-closed and her mouth is formed into a slight smile, though the blood dripping from the side of her mouth shows the agony her body feels. Strangely, this woman seems to be hovering in the air, as if sitting on a chair. Smoke rises from her still smoldering flesh. Her hand moves slowly as it seems to caress the air gently. Her bones creak as her weak voice barely escapes her crimson died lips, a slight cry echoing through the room. The sun finally illuminates the girl. Her dress is white on the front, save the few stains of blood and the back that is torn, almost fused to her burnt flesh. Her blue eyes seem to be gazing into empty space as she whispers It's okay.I'll be with you from now on. We can see the rest of the world together... right? Don't cry. In another realm, the same world, but different, a large black mass seems to be behind the young girl. The form seems semi-transparent, even to those with spiritual senses. The large formless mass has several small orbs of various colors floating within it's body. A white mask seems to be the only completely solid part of the being that is covering the back of the young woman. It seems to be roughly 7 feet tall. Each orb contains a different color and marker, corresponding to the organs within the body. The red heart orb seems to be shaking violently as does the blue stone with an image of a brain. The most clear image that can be seen is the white mask, containing a large crescent crack from the bottom of the mask to right below the middle of the mask, then curving back down to the bottom of the mask. The upper half of the mask seems to contain two vacant black openings equal length apart, both having several blue tentacle patterns extending from them towards the outside of the mask. The tentacles pattern intertwines with each other between the two black holes. From neither slot do the tentacles go towards the top or towards the crescent. Above all this, on the mask, tears seem to be streaming down. The crescent line enlarges as the bottom half of the mask almost unhinges from the top and a mournful cry echoes throughout the room. The mask cracks, a quarter of the mask that contained one of the empty globes falls down, but immediately starts reforming. Underneath the mask is an emerald green eye and a human's face. The mouth slowly getting covered by the crescent once more as his brown hair becomes covered once more by a white material forming from the air. Not her. She is all that's left... Please let this be a nightmare. Just another nightmare.
The tears slowly fall from the mask as the large formless being slowly slides towards the door, its body rolling to move while the mask seemed to stay in the same spot, always being on the front. As the tears neared the ground, they vanish, turning into a white dust and covering his mask once more, fixing the cracks that seemed to originate from his very soul. His memory starts to fade. With each tear drop he loses a bit of who he was. He remembers it all, but his emotions slowly become distant to even his first memories. The mass slides out the door into a hallway. It emerges onto a walkway on the second floor. The hallway has several other rooms, but none of them held anything anymore. Just dust and memories that kept slipping further away from the heart. The house was now empty, only one soul inhabiting it. One soul full of sorrow. As he moved towards the stairs, he forced his form to coalesce slightly, his concentration forcing a partial form to his formless body. A vague shape stretched from the mass. The newly formed shape was a human-like arm, though far larger and bearing claws at the end instead of fingers. The fingers gently ran across a small picture that hung from the wall. The claws seem to scratch into the glass, but not deep enough to destroy the image. In the picture, there are three people. 3 Kids. Two young boys sat beside each other, both wearing rags. The camera, being unable to pick up on colors other than the bare minimum, showed one boy with darker hair and bright eyes, starkly contrasted to the hair. The other boy was wearing similar rags, but had pale hair and skin, with eyes that seemed to be mostly one color. The last of the three children was a young girl, a head shorter than the boys, but dressed in beautiful clothing. She had beautiful hair twinned into ponytails and wore bright gloves as she held her hands on the boys’ shoulders. The older people have their hands on the young man’s shoulder, holding him still waiting for the camera to take the picture. It is an old photo, one that brings back some of Victor's earliest and happiest memories. Memories of before he found out how the world worked. And memories that were growing faint already.
The First Dream: Memories of Friends
Victor's head swims with memories of his village. It was a calm place, cut off from most of the world and, to him it seemed to be a utopia, at least at the time. His memories swirl, and the trees seemed to reach the heavens. Each tree was solid white, with needled leaves the color of snow. Looking back, Victor tries to recall exactly how big the trees where or how far they went, but all that comes to his mind are the white pine needles on each tree, year round. They never seemed to fall and blocked out the view of the outside world, almost perpetually. As if they were a giant moat, blocking the outside world and the world inside from ever meeting. Victor never questioned it, but as he recalls, he couldn't think of a time before he lived outside the trees, though he knew he must have as he was always called a migrator, a new arrival, or something of the like. His dad would never answer when asked where they were from, only nodding to the woods. If he had not come from outside the wall of trees, why would he have been shunned so? It really was strange thinking about the trees. He could recall the pine needles with such clarity, but every time he tried to focus on the trees, he would get confused.
The village was simple and small. Eight cabins sat around a central platform used for oration, and another 8 cabins sat around the end of the village, roughly 300 feet away from the other houses. The ground wasn't worked by any means, but you could see paths of dirt created by the people walking. Many of the outside houses were decrepit and were very poorly maintained, showing a lack of use for what seems like a solid decade. This wasn't a large village in the first place, but the 10 families living within 16 cabins made the town seem even more deserted. Each house was a simple wood structure: a window on the sides and a door facing towards the oration stand. Seemingly marking the stand as the oldest structure in town. Curiously, no windows face the oration stand. Perhaps due to this, the side of even the decrepit houses that faced the stand were still standing, even as the other walls decayed and fell in around them. An interesting note is that the 8 cabins in the center seemed to be made of white wood, but the outer 8 cabins were completely brown. . Now that he thought about it, it made perfect sense. After all, an angry ghost could breeze through a window, but a door would take more work. At least that's how Victor viewed the prevailing superstitious belief in ghosts. Though, now he knows better. A door wouldn't stop a monster. Nothing could stop a true monster. Nothing could have stopped that...
Within the village of 16 cabins, lived 10 families, each having one cabin to themselves. Most families were simple: A mother, a father, and a child or two. They didn't have large farms: Just enough to feed themselves, as each family was able to cultivate crops year round. The outer families were not regular though. One family had a mother and two children, while the other had a father and a son. The father and son were the Karnes household. The youngest of the Karnes household was Victor Karnes. He was a pretty quiet boy who knew nothing of the world. He had been that way since he was small. Ever since he heard the story of the "Heartless King and the Heroes of Justice." It was a story passed down in the Karnes family for years, and was one of the reasons Victor knew he wasn't from this area. No one else had any stories like this, and his father said it used to be a very popular story when he was young.
The story was pretty simple. A Heartless King appeared in the world after 1000 years. He started going from village to village, kidnapping those in love and trying to find out what love meant. What feelings were. Eventually, the Heartless King is attacked by a group of heroes. The heroes damage the Heartless King, but can't kill him, as he has no heart to stop from beating, and removing his limbs only seems to slow him down. The only sure fire way for the Heartless King to be destroyed is to find his heart and crush it. Years pass. The heroes adventure, searching for the King's heart to no avail. The King, not sitting by idly as they do this, sends out his minions to stop the heroes and bring him more people in love. Every time his minions bring him a love-lost soul, the King seduces them, turning them away from their lover and learning nothing from the person, as they had a love too easily broken. The story gets sort of hazy at this point, and Victor's mind wanders. He recalls asking his father "Why does the Heartless King want a heart?" His father simply laughed and smiled, saying "You won't know how he feels until a girl takes your heart." Victor always got quiet at that point. He recalled the heroes dropping everything for glory and honor, trying to fight and kill the Heartless King. He recalled the Heartless King stealing away lovers and seducing them, getting further and further away from love each time. To Victor, both these characters were sad. They were trying to fill their empty lives with something. Victor's mind, both now and when he was young, always thought of the Heartless King's servants. They served diligently, never running away from the "evil" Heartless King even when he sent them out. It could be out of fear, but in Victor's mind, it was out of love. The servants came back, knowing he would send them away again. They never asked for anything and took their punishments when they failed. They never stopped loving their Heartless King, and the Heartless King never noticed that the ones whose love never faded, even as they were threatened with death and slaughter by the heroes, was the ones he kept sending away. At this point, Victor learned the truth. Being the main character in a story doesn't make you have a happy ending. The only happy ending is when you let another person fill up your mind and heart with thoughts of them, and doing all you can to protect and help them. Victor declared he would never be a "main character," but would always be a minion that served to help others.
This is how Victor rationalized most of his life. He lived to help others, and to make their stories last as long as possible, even if he was only in their story for a brief moment. However, this wasn't his sole reason for being. Victor had friends and a social life. Of his friends, one was an "Outer Circle Dweller" like him. A young boy, not much older than Victor, brought to this village around the same time as Victor's father. The young boy's name was Zerek. Where he came from, it was hard to tell, but the boy had pale white hair and blood red eyes. Due, in part, to his appearance, he wasn't allowed to socialize with the inner families. More than just his appearance though, Zerek was a bit of a troublemaker for the Village. He was very nervous, but also very curious. He liked to read the few books the town kept and he enjoyed exploring the other outer circle homes. His constant questions annoyed the adults to no end, who usually didn't have the answers he sought. Above his curiosity, however, was his nervousness. The young boy, around the age of 13, was constantly staying indoors, saying he saw monsters in the night. That wasn't very unusual, being in a village with woods surrounding the cabins in every direction and only fires to keep the light strong. However, Zerek did something other kids afraid of the dark didn't do. He catalogued what he saw, how he saw it, and even the position of the trees and stars around him. Though his caution and fear were the most prevalent aspect of him at night, his curiosity and desire for knowledge did not wane. He drew pictures with pieces of charcoal and white bark, drawing the monsters he always claimed to see. Before long, the other kids said his drawings were accurate and they said they saw the same monsters. After that, Zerek wasn't allowed near the other Inner Circle children. As such, the only child in the village he could associate with other than his sister was Victor, a child who never, in his life, saw the horrible black monsters with bone masks. That difference, though not known at the time, was due to Victor's innate lack of any spiritual power, while all the other residents of the town could, at the least, see spirits. But, being the only person Zerek could socialize with due to the rules of the adults, Victor and Zerek quickly became friends. That was because, to Victor, Zerek was his main character. He was the one he would follow.
One other child broke tradition and socialized with Victor. She was the daughter of the mayor: Christina. A short young girl, a year or two under Victor's own age, she was a short haired, redheaded firecracker. She would stir up trouble, not to satiate curiosity like Zerek, but to see how far she could push people before they would forget about her father's position. She delighted in poking fun at people in the inner circle, as they would never retaliate against her, for her father may exile them, or so they thought. In the entire village, the Karnes family was the only one who set strict guidelines for the girl when she visited the house. She had to adhere to the traditions and rules of the Karnes family while in their house. She tried to abuse this as well, but the first time she did, she was swiftly met with a stern gaze and a very long conversation from Victor's father, which seemed to scare the girl out of her wits. Victor himself simply laughed at her, and when she threatened to tell her father, Victor laughed harder. Victor didn't even care for the consequences of laughing at her and her father. He was completely free of fear, as he felt that, even if he were exiled, there would be thousands of stories being told at any time that he could be part of. Exile, to Victor, would have just moved him from one story to another. He had no animosity for this village, but he also had no love for most of the people in it. This struck a chord with Christina as the adults all seemed to view the town as the only thing in the world, and she yearned to explore more. She desired to see outside the trees, to climb the tallest mountains, and touch the furthest seas. Unlike Zerek, who she couldn't stand being around alone, her desire wasn't for the knowledge seeing those places would bring, but rather for the freedom that being there would signify.

The First Awakening
The ooze form slid forward, it’s claws digging through the photo. The photo was the last remnant of two of the children, and the third was nowhere to be seen.To the monster rolling through the halls and down the steps, as his claw left the photo, it became blurry in his mind. By the third step down the stairs, the photo and the upper floor had merely turned into a place of inexplicable sorrow. The memories were gone, and all that remained was the emptiness. The form exited the house, staring at the sky. It no longer knew where it was or what to do. All it felt, was an emptiness. As it exited the only two story building around, a vicious sight was seen ahead. There were over a dozen people on the ground, their bodies stomped down, cut, and some missing their entire lower bodies. None of this interested the monster with the perpetual frown. The only thing in this scene that stirred it’s emotion was a large stand in the center of the 8 white houses. The stand had a table strapped to it and blood flowed from it. On the altar their lay a woman. She was well into her 40’s and her hands seemed to be rough. At a glance, one would call this woman a crazy old hermit. However for the half-moon frowning beast, it stirred something. At the start this was a deep love. One that should never be forgotten. That feeling quickly faded and started to ache. It turned from longing into fury. From fury, it turned to hunger. The meal in front of him held no allure. The essence of the kind hearted lady that had abandoned him for his own sake was drained. Another meal sat beside the altar, wailing. It was a man of similar age. His hair was dark and his hands rough. He had a hammer beside him. Amongst all the destruction, this man stayed safe, holding the hand of the woman that had a matching ring to his own.
The monster in the mask moved forward, rolling towards the platform. Inside, he screamed and wailed. The hunger, however, drove him onward. It pushed him step by step towards the man. The man held up his hammer as he turned and saw the monster by his side. When he saw it’s mask he started to swing, but stopped. The monster in the mask was crying and let out silent wails as it drew closer. It silently screamed in protest as the man dropped his hammer and let go of the woman’s hand. The monster disjointed the bottom half of it’s mask across the moon like crease and swallowed the man in one bite. Inside, the man struggled, but he eventually went quiet and the monster felt it’s emptiness grow more desolate. Why did it eat him? Why did it not turn and eat something else. Anything else. All these questions ran through it’s mind, before it’s mind went blank. The hunger in it’s chest grew worse until the monster’s consciousness grew thin. It had to escape, even if that meant letting the hunger take over. There was nothing left to fear eating anyway. He began to wander the world, hoping to prevent these massacres from happening again.

The Second Dream: Memories of Love
The light shot through the open sky above the town. It has been many years since Victor had been initially brought here. The friend’s had been together for a good amount of time, spending most of their time in the outer circle of the village. None of the three children really liked the adults in the inner circle. Victor sighed as he lay in the grass, his head next to the other two kids as they all lay together. Victor’s thoughts grew disordered as he remembered the scene. Did the other two kids know the truth? Were they in on the entire thing? That would definitely explain why the daughter of the mayor would hang out with someone from the outer circle. He remembered their voices and faces as they stared at the sky. The conversation took a strange turn and they began to talk about Victor’s mother. She was someone Victor didn’t know well, but he trust the two children who had been with him for so long. How naive was he? He answered what he knew about her. His dad said he still saw her occasionally, running through the forest. Victor figured his dad was delusional and his mother was dead. He would only know he was wrong when it was too late. After the betrayal.
A few nights later, Victor, who was still in bed, noticed a lot of noise. He looked out the window in the side of the house and saw everyone from the inner circle enter the forest, while the mayor stood screaming on the oration stand in the center of the town. Victor couldn’t understand him then, but he heard it clearly now that he thought back on it. He was screaming to catch the witch and bring her to face God’s divine punishment to save the village. Before, this didn’t bother Victor, as he was barely awake, but now the words pierced his skull. There were only 4 people who knew about his mother being in the woods. So obviously it had to have been his friends who sold her out. As he thought about it, his sorrow decreased. The memory skips forward a few nights. Victor’s dad is taken from the house in chains, dragged over a circle of runes surrounding the oration stand as he struggled. The runes were hard to see, due to faint light. However Victor remembered a faint scent of blood. The next few hours were blurry now as Victor thought back. The memories distorted and all the images changed back and forth in Victor’s head. He remembered people dancing around the stage, seeing their hands waving towards the sky as the Mayor walked towards his mother with a Silver Cross with a sharpened blade. Blood splattered and Victor ran into the house of the Mayor. Looking out the second story window, he heard a thud behind him. As he looked down a chain was crawling from his chest, thrashing around as mouths appeared at the end of it. He barely glanced at the chain, looking down to see a woman on the stage, blood flowing from her neck and a man holding her hand. His mother was dead before he even met her, and his father seemed to be desiring to go with her. As he looked at the woods, he saw monsters walking through the town, their hands tearing through bodies and pulling out semi-transparent doubles before devouring them. A smaller masked monster went up the stage and grabbed the semi-transparent double of Victor’s mom before devouring it. Victor then lost consciousness from the pain near his chest.
