Alright, we recently had a major overhaul on items and how they work, along with the limitations and requirements for each. We realize the possibility that this may render a large number of items "illegal" by these current guidelines, and this is why the Item Overhaul Event is coming into being. We want to ensure that players can still make use of the items that they have created and, if they are not satisfied with the new forms of their items, they are eligible to return the item for a full refund at the item's original value.
So here's how this event will work. In the Create an Item subforum, players are asked to submit any custom items that they do not believe fall under the new guidelines, along with revamped versions or a request for Ryo. If Ryo is selected, please include the original price an item was purchased for. These will be reviewed by mods and if the changes are satisfactory, then the item will be approved and the user will maintain it. All revamped items are not subject to the crafting rules for item changes, unless they are consumables that can be produced in bulk. In such a case, the crafting requirement will only apply towards future creation/purchase of said items, and not ones previously owned.
As an additional note, this event will be ongoing. However, items in any new threads that are not subjected to the new guidelines will be examined and possibly invalidated if they are considered illegal by current standards. We urge all players to submit their items before using them in a new thread!
