Zegram laid on a thick tree branch high above the floor of the Menos Forest. Below him were a group of Adjuchas that has tried to claim the lone Arrancar as their latest meal. They were not even that much of a challange for the former Sarro of Escudo. They laid in a bloody pile on the ground no doubt which would attract more, but Zegram did not care. He just sighed as he laid with his fingers laced behind his head and his fedora over his eyes.
He was still frustrated at the collapse of Escudo. All that time and he was not able to get any sort of notable position before then. He sighed again moving his hand over his Zanpakuto trying to figure out what to do. He could go and see if he can't have any luck with the espada. He already had a notable connection within the Espada. His lover Aurora, she was the fraccion of the Tercera if he remembered correctly. Maybe she would be able to help him out.
He tried to think about the opportunities that could be presented by staying as a free Arrancar. Well he didn't have to listen to anyone giving him orders for one. He was his own man now, and could do whatever he damn well pleased without having someone breathing down his neck about it. That was really it, as far as Zegram could see. He saw no long term advantage of being alone, but a whole lot of short term headaches for going to the espade, not to mention what might happen if they found out that he was once part of Escudo. He sighed once more unable to come up with a solution.
