Name: Arc 2 Finale: Canon 16: The Flames of Hell

Plotline:
Discord has succeeded. Through his efforts in Seoul and Karakura town in the human world, and victories in Soul Society and Heuco Mundo during various confusions, the Diplomat has retrieved all four of the Black Hell Items. The Black Bracelet, the Black Beads, the Black Pyramid, and the Black Ring have all fallen into his possession. Of the four, the Bracelet was previously lost in an effort to open up a portal to Hell, tearing a rift in the dimensions between the Human World and Hell itself. This rift was quickly re-sealed, but a weakening in the region has remained; should the other three objects be taken to the same spot and used, the opening will be torn wide open, with no way to easily re-seal it.
And Discord has the remaining three items. Using their powers, the Diplomat has torn open the rift to Hell, an enormous dome of darkness covering a quarter of the innermost region of Karakura. From the dome comes screams of anguish, waves of heat, traces of hellfire burning the ground and nearby buildings... and that's the small stuff. There's also the demons that have been let loose. Hason and Saika roam the streets, capturing humans and dragging them back to that dome of darkness. Those who enter are never heard from; even the few spiritual captives have vanished without a trace. Unsure of what lays within that Hellish dome, Soul Society refuses to send in a unit to do more than contain the tide of invading demons, knowing full well that their struggle will become futile once the true powerhouses of Hell come forth: the Akki.
In this time of stalemate, of skirmishes between Shinigami and hellspawn, many hide in terror. No Shinigami are authorized to approach the dome, and no other races dare risk their health and sanity when confronted by the very real possibility of entering Hell through that dark sphere. Yet someone has to rise to the call, ignoring orders or common sense to delve deep into the dome's mysteries. For in the dome, and perhaps in Hell itself, lies the answer to sealing the rift and sparing not just Karakura, but the entire world, the ravages of Hell. For as the stalemate continues, the demons gain ground, and the dome grows further, threatening to swallow the entire city if unchecked.
This is the finale. This is the fight that will determine the life or damnation of the entire human world, a war that may spill over to the spiritual realms as well. There is no surviving the aftermath, nowhere to run and nowhere to hide. It is time to face the flames of Hell.
