Aurora found herself in the desert again, but this time it was different. She had walked, well Sonido-ed, all the way through the desert and finally made her way to the forest of hollows. She had never really been in the forest, just on the outskirts. She was at the borders of the forest right now determined to actually go into the forest and delve into it for a bit, seeing what hollows she would find there. Before that though, she sat on the sand and pulled out her gift from the Noveno Espada, Masa. She was surprised she still had it on her.
It was something he called a 'blunt,' a thing that she had tried before, but it brought up horrible memories of her past. She figured that this time would be a little different, since she was alone. So, since she swiped some matches at the castle, she lit the match by striking it off of her hollow mask and lighting the blunt. She took two deep draws on it and blew it out slowly after holding it in for at least five seconds. When she blew it out, she only coughed a little bit. But, she felt her mood immediately lighten a little. She stayed like that for a few minutes, enjoying every draw from her blunt, until she finished it. After that, she was so stoned, she fell asleep in the sand.
Zegram leaped from tree to tree casually making his way to the the edge of the forest. He wanted to go look out at Las Noches again like he did from time to time. He was growing bored around the same hollows. He was never sent on missions and just felt like he could be using his talents somewhere better. He sighed as he made his way closer and closer to the edge of the forest. Zegram stopped feeling someone nearby the forest. That was odd. Next to no one enters the forest from Las Noches.
Zegram quickened his pace slightly making his suit coat billow slightly behind him. He kept his fedora on his head with one hand as the wind blew through his short green hair. He scanned the forest floor for whatever he was feeling. He stopped his dress shoes thudding slightly against the hard trees. He saw the figure of the Arrancar that he had fought with a short time ago. He smiled chuckling at the memory of the kiss and the cero that he had received at the end of the fight. Something seemed wrong. She was just laying there. Zegram knew that he needed to do something. Some hollow would no doubt eat her if she was left there.
Zegram jumped down for a closer look. He tried to remember her name ah yes Aurora. How could he have forgotten a name as pretty as that of the Arrancar herself. He knew that she was a competent fighter, so why was she laying down like that? There didn't seem to be any sign of a fight in the area, and she had no wounds on her body. He could smell a strange smell in the air around them. It made his head feel funny so he deduced that she must have smoked something. He piked her up in his arms and made his way into the forest. He laid her down against a tree. He sat across from her waiting for her to wake up.

Aurora was dreaming. Dreaming about her life before she had died. She was at least trying to remember things about her life. She was remembering life on a boat out to sea. She could almost feel the breeze across her face. It was at this point that Zegram had picked her up and was moving her into the forest. She was smiling while feeling this breeze, knowing that these memories were from a happier time in her life. She saw blue around her.
The next memory she was seeing was with a family she barely remembered. She was smelling the air and smelled a man near her and wiggled a little to try to move closer to the smell. In her mind, it was the husband that she had been with while she was alive. She would sigh contently and say the word, "Daniel..." It was the name of her husband. There was no way to know if she would even remember the name when she woke up.
In her dream, she was with him in a room. She had no idea what else was in the room besides a bed. She was moving with him there for no apparent reason to her. Once she reached the bed, she slowly started to wake up. While she was waking up, she saw another Arrancar across from her. She was still somewhat under the effects of the blunt Masa had given her. Because of this, she was slower to get up and get her bearings. She stared at this Arrancar. "You're Zegram right?"
Zegram sat there waiting for her to wake up for quite some time. He rested his chin in his hands watching her sleep. She was quite beautiful. He smiled lingering on her face before looking down at her body. He was a gentleman above all else so of course he didn't do that for long. He wondered if he should go get something for her, but when she started muttering a name he stopped. Who was Daniel? He hoped that it would not be a boyfriend.
Aurora started to wake up and get up groggily. It appeared that she was still under the effects of whatever was in her system. He immediately rushed to help her up and steady her. He held her by the hand and arm trying to keep her steady on her feet. He smiled down at her. She looked at him and it appeared that she recognized him. His heart nearly soared when she asked if his name was Zegram. "Indeed it is, at your service my lady."

Aurora was getting up slowly, taking her time since the drug was still in her system. She would definitely have to look Masa up again to get more of this. It seemed like by herself, she was actually doing well with that new stuff. But, right before she was going to fall over, Zegram was there, holding her by her hand and arm to steady her. He smiled at her and she smiled back, though it probably looked weird her being so wobbly.
She wobbled into the man, landing on his chest. Since he was one inch taller than her, she did have to look up at him a bit. He seemed to be really happy to see her. It was interesting for someone to be happy to see her. She half growled, half laughed towards him when he said that it was him and he was at her service. It made her happy that someone was at her service for once. She looked up at him and thought for a minute. "Actually, I'm really hungry now. We should get something to eat. You know of any weak hollow I could munch on around here?"
Zegram chuckled when she fell against his chest. He caught he making sure that she remained on her feet. He wasn't too bothered by the half growl that she gave him, just enjoying the moment of having the woman this close to him. She told him that she was hungry and wanted to know if there were any weak hollows around. Zegram nodded turning to the forest's interior gesturing to it with a wide sweep of his hand.
"My dear, this is the Menos Forest, I am sure that we can find a herd of Gillian, or a weak adjucha or two for you." He gently guided her deeper into the forest. He would keep a hold on her arm until she was able to hold herself steady. His grip would be secure, but gentle. He looked at her curiously as they walked though the dense forest. "So, what happened? It smelled like you smoked something when I found you passed out."

She was facing him, but when he nodded, she turned around on his chest and swept around the forest. She was sniffing and could barely smell the scents of other hollows around them. This made her perk up a little bit more. She still felt somewhat groggy from the drug, but it was starting to wane a little bit. She must've been knocked out for a lot longer than she thought she was. She slowly started to move away from him, trying to stay on her feet.
He continued by saying they were in the Menos Forest, and it should be easy to find food for her. She slowly nodded and felt him hand on her arm, half guiding and half supporting her as they walked through the forest. He then started to ask what happened to her and mentioned a smell. She smiled. "Well, the Noveno Espada gave it to me. I believe he called it weed. It has a nice feeling going with it, though I don't really get that angry with it. Hopefully, the food will help with that. I got bored at the border so I figured that I would use it before it got broken."
Zegram walked with her and sensed that there were a couple Gillian nearby. He looked at her no knowing if she would need him to bring them down for her, or if she was able to take them down herself. He looked at her and then at the towering Gillian before them. They were large, but that was the only thing about them. In all other aspects, they were just weak fodder for stronger hollows and arrancars.
"Shall I kill them for you, or are you capable of taking them down yourself?" he asked her with genuine concern. He never has done drugs like that before, but he knew the effects that they had on the body and mind. He did not want her to get hurt trying to do more than she should while recovering from the drug. He waited for her answer as he watched the Gillian meander about looking for something to eat.

Aurora was slowing starting to get her head back. It was nice to have a little bit of a retreat from her senses but she still wasn't completely back to her old self. It was at that time she sensed hollows around her. She looked up and noticed that there were Gillians around and one that was fairly close by. She knew that Gillians were abundant, but she never knew they were still abundant. It was a little surprising.
Zegram then asked her if she could take them down herself. She stepped away from him for a bit, trying to see if she got her legs back. She could stand on them steady but she wasn't sure that her senses were up to an actual fight. She felt some of her rage coming back towards her, so she knew the drug would be gone soon. She looked to Zegram. "You might have to get them. I don't feel completely back to normal enough to. Thanks."
Zegram nodded bowing his head slightly. He was always happy to help a woman in need with anything. "Of course, it would be my pleasure." He let go of her and used sonido to get closer to the Gillian. He sneaked up a tree completely silent. He would quietly draw his Zanakuto. The two Gillian were completely unaware of the Arrancar's presence, but unfortunately for them they would not be able to be aware of anything for long.
Zegram jumped from the tree branch and sunk his blade through the mask of one. He then used his weight to drop down to the ground splitting the Gillian down the middle. That gave the second Gillian the time to gather itself and bear down on Zegram. The Gillian reared up to its full height and fired a cero at the smaller arrancar. Zegram easily dodged it and got close cutting its legs. The gillian fell to its knees allowing Zegram to leap up and cut its throat.
Zegram turned around from the falling Gillian, as he sheathed his sword. He started to walk back to Aurora. When he reached her he motioned for her to eat her fill. "I hope that it is to your liking."

When he agreed to catch the Gillian for her, she nodded and knelt down on the ground, shaking her head a bit to clear it. When she looked up, she saw him sneak around in the trees. It was interesting to see him stalk his prey like a true predator. In her eyes, he was now elevated a bit. He had true power when they fought, which was true, but he was easily swayed by her actions. She would always remember that in case she needed to use it again.
She watched as he swiftly killed the Gillians and walked back towards Aurora. She was already up on her feet, mouth watering a bit with all the food in front of her. She didn't even hear what he was saying. She walked past him, almost running and started to devour half of the first one. She was eating so quickly, it would seem like only a minute passed when she had completely eaten all of the hollows, rubbing her tummy and burping a little. She was now content and growled low in her throat, feeling the effects of the drug leave her completely.
Zegram walked over to the female Arrancar. He still had a smile on her face glad that she enjoyed her meal. Zegram leaned against a tree watching her. "Feeling better?" He asked crossing his arms across his chest. He had no opinions about Arrancars that continued to eat. He never did once he broke his mask. He ran his fingers across his jaw and chin feeling the snake like mask fragment. He approuched her and sat next to her despite the risks that may come with it.

Aurora felt the man walking over to her while she was eating. Since he was close by, she was able to sense him movements. She just glanced at the man as he walked close by. It was surprising to her that the man was walking this close to her while she was eating. It was really surprising when the man actually sat down next to her. When she finished, she wiped her mouth and just stared at him a little bit.
Why was he just sitting next to her? She didn't really understand. She was completely out of the drug's effects, since eating that much let the drug work itself out of her system. She was still looking at him, thinking back on their last encounter. She was playing with the mask fragment at her chin. She sat on her knees, right next to him and pretty much staring him in the face. "What did you think about our last encounter, Cobra Man?"
Zegram watched her eat in patient silence. It looked like she really needed it. He dusted the sand and dust from his suit as she ate then went back to watching her. When she finished she wiped her face and looked at him curiously. They just looked into each others faces until she finally spoke. "What did you think about our last encounter, Cobra Man?" Jak thought about it looking away from her and looking up at the canopy.
Zegram put his hand close to hers as he leaned on them. "Well I really liked it," He said simply. "The fight we had was pretty fun, and well...that kiss was one of the very memorable parts." He looked at her his smile widening as he took his fedora off. "What do you think our meeting?" He asked her back.

Aurora watched as the man moved in closer to her. It was interesting how this was going. She had no idea why he felt the need to be so close to her and invade her personal space so much. When he leaned into her, she growled low in her throat as a warning to be careful of how far he invaded her space without her permission. Some lean in was acceptable, but she wanted to make sure that he knew that there were some limits to it.
She looked at him and heard his answer. It seemed he liked it, the fight was good for him and he said the kiss was pretty memorable. She also forgot that she kissed him them cero'd him in the chest. She smiled, thinking on how fun that part was. He asked for what she thought. She looked at him and leaned in on her hands like he did. "The fight was good, you put up a good fight. What I did at the end I figured would be a good attack, but I have to admit, it was a nice sensation. Almost as nice as feeding on hollows."
