Bala (Bullet) are a series of incredibly fast techniques. They are like Cero, but are more compressed and use less Reiatsu, causing them to usually pack only a little punch and be more prone to countering with stronger attacks. However, while they are weak, they makes up for that in speed and difficulty to maneuver around against. There are few variations of the technique at this moment.

Technique Description and Effects: All living beings produce Noise, according to Marcelius. The strength and power of each individual determines the type and volume of noise produced. While examining particularly strong prey, it became clear that their sound was the source of their great abilities. When they exerted themselves, or prepared their various and peculiar Cero, they always expelled a portion of their noise do so. The more they struggled, the more they produced, the harder it became to hear them at the end. They muted themselves in the process. Once they were barely audible, they became easy targets for the capturing. Having become quite the crafty hunter, Marcelius saw no reason why he should wait for them to exhaust themselves! So, he began to study the process, risking life and meal to examine every detail. How was sound being used, and spent...and how could he cause it to happen. Pretty soon, through an amazing degree of luck and ingenuity. Marcelius devised a Bala that could strike the source of all creatures' noise. It did not seem to hurt them, not physically, but the Bala did achieve what Marcelius desired. It burst inside of their symphony, and took the brass section with it! This Bala would expand, pushing the preys noise in every direction. What was lost would come back, given enough time, but that didn't stop it from exhausting his food exactly as he wanted. This appears, in all respects, as a regular Bala. It is shaped into a ball, without any change in size or intensity. However, it's energy does produce a much stranger noise than typical Bala. In stead of the angry, almost electric screech of typical Bala, this one produces a sound similar to the base of a waterfall. Energy is constantly being pulled in to it's mass, and it reflects that with a sound more akin to a vacuum. When it strikes the opponent, there is no sudden burst of pain or heat, instead their is a chilling feeling that travels through the full measure of their soul.
When struck by the Mermar Bala, the opponent does not suffer physical harm. Instead, their reiatsu becomes interrupted and dispersed. This breaks the accumulation of energy required for preparing Kidou and charging Cero, as well as other Spiritual based abilities which necessitate focus or preparation. Mermar Bala does not have an effect, if the prepared attack is completed before Mermar Bala strikes. The opponent's accumulated reiatsu is NOT lost, as it was dispersed instead of destroyed.
How to use technique: Same procedures and movements of a typical Bala.

Finger bullet is a unique, but weak type of bala that takes the naturally fast and numerous nature of the technique to its next step in exchange for making it even weaker. The user will focus a flicker of reiatsu around one of their fingers or toes and create a very small bala the size of a normal .45 caliber bullet. Due to how small it is, this takes almost no time at all to form, even for an average practitioner. This bala can then be released like any other, shooting forward. What makes this special is that it is not only extremely cheap, but can be used excessively. Each blast only cost 10 reiatsu and and can be used in rapid succession. Their small size also makes it harder to notice individual shots in the chaos of a fight. While weak, they can be used to distract, manipulate the flow of the battlefield, interrupt someone, and actually torture someone with a barrage of painful stings if used in rapid succession. At learned, a person will only be able to fire these from a single finger. At proficient. it extends to every digit of their hands, even able to fire from all of them at once. At mastered, they'll even be able to simultaneously fire from the toes of the feet and the tip of a tail if the user has one.

Firstly, these bullets are extremely weak individually. Their power comes from the instantaneous use and strategic application in number. Because of this each individual bullet will only use 25% of the user's reiatsu strength to determine their power. This makes almost any kind of defensive ability able to completely negate these tiny little attacks. Also, the damage they inflict individually is fairly minor. To get any serious damage per shot would require some very high reiatsu strength. Using them in high number can also rack up the reiatsu cost fairly quickly, since each individual bullet has a cost.

Technique Description and Effects: ] Energy is always creating new motion for Marcelius. Seeing it as great waves that fill and crash against the occupants of the world, it's chimes making beautiful music for him to enjoy. There were some noises though, that behaved differently then others. Instead of creating waves, they stopped them. He wrongly called them noises for quite some time, believing himself to be incapable of seeing them for what they truly were. Eventually, through a long game of cat and mouse, Marcelius discovered that this, "silent noises" were actually counterpoint. They were simply equal sounds meeting under the right condition. When they crossed paths, they exchanged energy instead of moving together. This exchange was a perfect balance, with each giving as much as was received. It made silence, total silence. It didn't last long, but when it happened, life caught in it was brought to a halt. So...naturally, the inquisitive younger Marc began to practice. Determined to recreate the circumstances of this delightful happening. It took time, and it took failure. Eventually, he found a way to do it. A simple application of his own sound at the right moment, and the right volume. Then pop. Noise stopped, and life stopped with it. Things always returned to normal after words, but Marcelius wondered if he could ever expand the effect. Make it larger...and make it last longer. Appearing as a small, vibrating Bala that could be confused for improperly formed. When striking the opponent, this Bala does not burn or puncture, it simply transfers energy. Impact resembles the bursting of a bubble.
When struck by the Temblar Bala, the bones in the immediate area begin to vibrate. This motion jostles the nerves and prevents both feeling, and control of movement in the area affected. These vibration can not travel through major joints, so effects are limited in range. (I.E. Being struck in the forearm renders moving the wrist impossible, but the muscles in the shoulder and hand are fine, so the fingers and the arm itself may still be lifted. Being struck in the foot means that appendage goes numb, but full movement of the leg, knee, and ankle would be possible.) Being struck on the torso produces a numbing feeling through the chest, but does not inhibit any movement. Being struck in the head causes rattling of the teeth, slightly blurred vision, and ringing in the ears.

Technique Drawbacks Nonleathal. The duration of the effect is only a portion of the turn. The effect uses bone resonation to activate, so large joints halt it's progress through the body. Beings without bones are immune to the effects. Can not cause lasting damage.

Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): By focusing the essence of an overcharged bala all around one's body as a glowing red aura the user is encased by the properties of a bala from the body to 5 centimeters away. If the user uses their body to strike at a target then their body will count as striking with the force of a regular bala which is a useful trick for those of low physical strength but great spiritual ability. However Bala Corpo has few defensive benefits, being a bala spread thin it is still treated as if it were class 6 in clashes between abilities but does cause minor burns if an opponent remains in contact with the bala for more than a moment. Bala Corpo only acts as a fully functional bala when complemented by kinetic force to accelerate it.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): Requires little more than a sharp in-breath and concentration on maintaining the technique as it will manifest rapidly, the bala first being manifested around an extremity and then quickly spreading over the whole of the body within a second.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) Concentration based, if panicked or otherwise unbalanced the technique will be undone. Does not in any way grant the user strength so they're just as fragile as they would be without the technique, they can merely utilize the force of a bala when striking with their body. While the technique is active it is impossible to at the same time make use of any other bala or cero although the technique could be cancelled to regain use of said techniques. Treated as class 6 in clashes. 150 Reiatsu Cost. The technique can be maintained for up to three turns and if wished to continue the technique the price of 150 must be payed again as the energy of the bala slowly dissipates into the air and needs replenishing.

Technique Description and Effects:
Once struck by the Pegadizo Bala, the next attempt to use reiatsu by the opponent, will result in a Cero. This replaces the prior effect with a Cero, and still deducts the reiatsu that the prior Technique would have. This applies to all uses of reiatsu, including noncombat abilities such as Step Techniques and General Reiatsu Techniques. The Cero is created at the center of the chest, where a Hollow's hole most typically exists and where most Reiatsu gathers on a body. Those who have mastered the regular "Cero" Technique or who have Skill in "Cero", can fire this unnatural creation as normal. Whatever Class the intended technique was, will determine the Class of the Cero. The target's Reiatsu Strength will be used for the Cero. The created Cero will carry no special properties.
How to use technique: Pool reiatsu into the palm, then fire like a typical Bala.
Technique Drawbacks Pegadizo is nonleathal. Pegadizo costs eight times as much as a typical Bala. The target is granted the use of Cero for one attack. Pegadizo travels at half the speed of typical Bala. Pegadizo's duration is only one post; if the affected target does not attempt to use their reiatsu during that post, then Pegadizo fades. Class 0 Techniques cannot be altered by Pegadizo Bala.

Technique Description and Effects: With this technique, the user can imbue their breath with the lingering energy of a Bala, and distribute it in a translucent mist that covers an area of 40 square feet. If the enemy spends two consecutive posts inhaling this mist, the technique user can fire a Bala inside of their lungs.
How to use technique: Charge the energy internally, and then exhale.
Drawback: This technique requires a mastery of both Gonzui and Cero Durmiente to learn. In addition, suficiently strong winds can disrupt the mist created, and an enemy can simply avoid the ill effects if they hold their breath. Lasts 5 posts.

Technique Description and Effects: [The Espada-only version of the bala. The Bala Oscuras (Dark Bullet) version turns the bala into a jet black and fires it with tremendous velocity and power. This can only be used while in Release Stages. It packs the nearly punch of half a Gran Rey Cero. Unlike regular Bala, which merely puts holes in adversaries, and occasionally blows limbs off, this one will blast holes easily twice the size of the actual blast, and splash burns across the enemy as well. On top of that, it is capable of completely disintegrating limbs, rather than just blowing them off, meaning that reattachment is impossible.]
How to use technique: [Same as regular Bala]
Drawback: [Unlike Cero Oscuras, this technique requires there be the user's blood on their hand, rather similar to the conditions for Gran Rey Cero. This will also slowly burn the hand with each use. Consecutive uses will add second and third degree burns to the hand that uses it. After too many uses, around 6 or 7, that hand will not be able to use any more reiatsu based techniques, unless it is healed. High speed regeneration cannot heal the damage caused by this technique.]

Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect):
The technique appears as if the user is just firing ordinarily bala in rapid succession. This is mostly true, except for one thing. The person will add an extra bit of reiatsu to each one, adding a light manipulation property to them. This will allow the person to stop each bala in mid-air when they like, creating a field of suspended blasts. Once they're ready, the user can make a gesture with their hand, causing all of the bala to rush at a given location at once. This is most effective when the target is surrounded by the suspended blasts, leaving them very few ways to escape as the barrage of bala close in rapidly, coming together to create an enormous explosion. The amount of bala fired will be matched to the user's bala/cero skill. A person with no skill in either will be able to fire 5. For each point they have in cero, they'll be able to fire 3 more, and for each point in bala, they'll be able to fire 5 more. Upon mastering the technique, the person will be able to alter the direction of the blasts a second time while they're in the air.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): Fire bala rapidly into the air.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc)
Firstly, each individual bala is normal and is still class 6 in power. This means explosive waves, aoes, large beams and other large attacks can disrupt this much easier despite its class. The hand gesture can allow an observant foe to read the attack more quickly and have a better chance avoiding it. The technique is fairly tiring and can only be used once every three posts safely, otherwise the user will greatly fatigue themselves.

Unlike regular Bala, which merely puts holes in adversaries, and occasionally blows limbs off, this one will blast holes easily twice the size of the actual blast, and splash burns across the enemy as well. On top of that, it is capable of completely disintegrating limbs, rather than just blowing them off, meaning that reattachment is impossible.]
How to use technique: [Same as regular Bala]
Drawback: [Unlike Cero Oscuras, this technique requires there be the user's blood on their hand, rather similar to the conditions for Gran Rey Cero. This will also slowly burn the hand with each use. Consecutive uses will add second and third degree burns to the hand that uses it. After too many uses, around 6 or 7, that hand will not be able to use any more reiatsu based techniques, unless it is healed. High speed regeneration cannot heal the damage caused by this technique.]

The technique appears as if the user is just firing ordinarily bala in rapid succession. This is mostly true, except for one thing. The person will add an extra bit of reiatsu to each one, adding a light manipulation property to them. This will allow the person to stop each bala in mid-air when they like, creating a field of suspended blasts. Once they're ready, the user can make a gesture with their hand, causing all of the bala to rush at a given location at once. This is most effective when the target is surrounded by the suspended blasts, leaving them very few ways to escape as the barrage of bala close in rapidly, coming together to create an enormous explosion. The amount of bala fired will be matched to the user's bala/cero skill. A person with no skill in either will be able to fire 5. For each point they have in cero, they'll be able to fire 3 more, and for each point in bala, they'll be able to fire 5 more. Upon mastering the technique, the person will be able to alter the direction of the blasts a second time while they're in the air.

Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc)
Firstly, each individual bala is normal and is still class 6 in power. This means explosive waves, aoes, large beams and other large attacks can disrupt this much easier despite its class. The hand gesture can allow an observant foe to read the attack more quickly and have a better chance avoiding it. The technique is fairly tiring and can only be used once every three posts safely, otherwise the user will greatly fatigue themselves.

Utilizing his unique perception on reality, Marc focused primarily on the forces that produced sound when firing a Bala. Fascinated by the ripples created when the technique forms itself out of Reiatsu, Marc explored ways to amplify those ripples. It was pleasing to him, to feel the energy wafting through the air. Countless attempts, and rigorous practice have yielded a Bala that produces more waves than any other Marc has encountered. It is bright, it is loud, and it is as beautiful to Marc as the spark of life itself.
Most other people see this attack as a very weak Bala. It is gathered and held in the hand, almost identically. It uses far less Reiatsu, and has no potential to endanger life or cause life threatening wounds. When used, the energy is built inside the hand and triggered by the clenching of the fist, much like popping a bubble made of Reiatsu. The effect is similar to a Spiritual Flashbang. Everyone within vocal range of user, including the user, become blinded and deafened for 4 posts. This technique costs 600 Reiatsu per use.

The disruption Bala is a powerful technique designed to counter the many powerful techniques with a charge associated with them, such as the sister techniques of cero. It is a very powerful utility that can turn some of the strongest techniques back against someone. Firstly, a person will create a bala around their fist or fingers. This bala will take on a special purple color. Like other bala, it has almost no charge time, able to be fired practically instantly, which is important for its purpose. The technique is composed of an unstable energy current that fluctuates and infects other reiatsu and spiritual energy it touches.
To get the full effect, the user must fire the bala at a technique while it is in a stage of preparation. Most often this is while it is charging, but doesn't necessarily only work in that circumstance, such as when a technique has a lengthy set-up process. If this blast hits an unfinished technique, such as a cero, it will disrupt the flow of energy and make it unstable, forcing the technique to detonate with all of its strength right where it is! For example, if the blast were to hit a charging gran rey cero, the cero would detonate in the person's palm, consuming them in the destructive power of their own attack. This can also be used to disrupt a technique's continuation, so long as it hasn't been completed yet. Despite being class 1, the technique is fairly cost-efficient, only having a cost of 400 reiatsu since the class comes more from the complexity and interaction behind it, rather than raw energy and power..

It can not effect class 0 techniques at all regardless of OS difference. Also, a person with an OS twice that of the user's reiatsu strength will be completely unaffected by this technique. Any technique it does effect will only erupt as pure destructive force equal to the OS of the attack. It does not carry over any extra properties, such as poisoning, making it less dangerous than a complete blow-back. Lastly, the insane timing required for this is very difficult to do. Due to how quickly a trained master can form techniques, it leaves a very small window for successfully using this, even with bala's commendable speed. Once a technique has fully formed and released properly, this technique can no longer even clash with it and will instantly be destroyed, having no effect against the attack in question.
