Kazura Uzaki had made a powerful partner in Pavel Fedoseev. Although the latter had not yet revealed his true name in a sign of friendship, he had supplied both funds and research already to Kazura's cause. If this letter went as planned, the two of them would have to sit through very tedious tests, repeating them over and over again until Kazura could make things perfect. Depending on the speed at which they got through things, the inventor planned to perform stress tests on various alloys to improve and perfect durability, work on analyzing brain waves before during and after the use of reiatsu, and analyze the pure substance itself.

After sending the email, Kazura went to his shop to set up the tests. He had a basic steel alloy that he had created in two forms. He had the basic, uncompressed form and he had the highly compressed sheets of metal made into thin layers. The latter form, the compressed one, was obviously stronger due to the quantity of the metal, but that wasn't good enough for Kazura. He wanted it to be stronger because of the quality of the metal. So, he was going to get it tested to the best of its ability. The first test for Pavel was quite simple, and would be conducted as soon as he walked in.

Kazura had his metal in sheets and rods. He set up five trials of each metal, for a total of twenty trials. For the sheets of metal, Pavel was simply to punch a hole into the sheet that was suspended vertically for him. For the rods, he was just to bend it until it almost broke, but remained intact. Kazura would film each trial very carefully, zooming in as closely as possible. After those trials were completed, he would analyze each one in order to better get a grasp of what was going on in the superhuman levels of strength that they were being subjected to.

Pavel read the email, sitting in one of the planned safe houses in Japan. He contemplated this invitation, Kazura Enterprise, they have set up various public websites explaining them and Pavel's various informants gave relevant information towards the Organization. This brought up a grand opportunity for him to gain more materials and technology for himself. After much thinking he placed he pressed the reply button and began to his response. "Mister Kazura. Your invitation has not only intrigued me but has gained my acceptance. You, my supplier will bring me better equipment if I will be your subject for testing. This I will accept, on the agreement that the technology I test, if proven to be successful I either be given one and only one for free or I am able to purchase for half the price and repairs needed for half the price. I will be over there as soon as possible. No response necessary. -XSG #6" and the email was sent. The moment the confirmation was approved Pavel stood up and walked towards the closet set up.

the safe house he was placed in was a small shack off the outskirts of Karakura town, not many people drove past this shack and when people drove by it, they would assume it was abandoned. Many of the utilities such as water and electricity was paid for by Xcution, to ensure that someone had a safe place to stay during or in between their assignments. Opening it, he carefully picked out the Disguise that would be known to the world as Boris. The tall imposing figure was dressed in a Russian Military Attire, from the cap to the combat boots, everything down to the stain was accurate. Pavel stared into the mirror and was sure to apply the needed make up, a but of a darker skin. Making sure he kept his eye color dark brown so he may avert suspicion. When he was done dressed, the Assassin grabbed onto his suitcase and walked out the door, into the center of Karakura town in an hour.

Once he was there, Pavel used pulled out his private phone and used it to contact an informant somewhere in Karakura town, when the phone opened there was no greetings. Only an order "I need to have the directions sent to where I will be meeting a valuable client." then the tone went dead. After a few minutes the phone vibrated and the message giving the directions was given. The XSG was able to speed walk it there in a matter of thirty minutes, ensuring he ignored the potential stares he would get from the public eye. When he was at the testing facility where both had agreed to meet, Pavel was sure to double check that he was not followed and entered. Kazura would be inside with various sheets of metal.

Pavel immediately knew what these sheets of metal were for. Ensuring he kept his Russian accent, Pavel introduced himself to Kazura. Formerly greeting the Client. "Mister Kazura. It is a pleasure to see the Client that has given me very intricate items." he stepped forward, the foot steps echoing off the walls. Gazing at the twenty five vertical sheets of metal then back towards Kazura "I take it that you want me to break all of these?" when he was given the nod of approval he steped forward in front of the first one. This sheet of metal was thin but would have proven a problem to those that were not as strong as Pavel. Taking a step back he cracked his knuckles and drove his fist directly through the metal plate. Separating the allow as if it was paper.

Then he stepped towards the second sheet of steel and repeated the process until he was at the fifth one. When he had reached the fifth one, Pavel took a different route to this. Cracking his knuckles again he gripped onto the center of the center of the steel and ripped it in half as if it was nothing. Pavel had the strength that would make him break through this alloy with little problems. After the next five he placed a sheet in front of five other sheets and then placed three bars. He looked at Kazura and spoke again "You may use what you have so far to make sure your steel can withstand direct impact. But we also need to take into awareness of shock wave." without moving a single step, Pavel stood in front of the 5 sheets of steel and three compacted rods.

He flexed his muscles and delivered a punch with all of his strength and speed, stopping a few inches away from the actual sheets. But the force of his punch would carry through and obliderate the sheets of steel and fully bending the rods without breaking it fully. When there were no more sheets, Pavel focused on the rods, picking one up and bending it with the needed effort before using the bent steel and bend it around the other rods, doubling the density and effort but never the less bending it through. Once these tests were done and all of the rods were bent, Pavel dropped it all, performing a few stretches and sweating if not literally steaming from the effort he had exerted. "Just a moment. Need a bit to cool down." he panted a bit.

The data received was good. The cameras showed the exact breaking points of the different sheets, where the instabilities lied, and the bending of the rods revealed the impurities that weakened the metal. As Kazura peered into the microscope that was examining one of the bent bars, he could see that different components of the alloy, however small in concentration, were either more or less resistant to the bending. Needing raw data that was more objective, Kazura set up a new experiment for Pavel to participate in. It involved the pure components of the metals, rather than alloys.

Pavel was given three sheets of each component and was told to apply the exact same amount of force to each one slowly. The first component was given an extra set of three sheets so that Pavel could practice if he needed to. When the actual test began, Kazura timed how long it took for the component to bend and break, and ranked the different components by tensile strength. He then mixed up various combinations of the top five components and gave them to Pavel to test. If his theory was correct, then the better components would lead to the better alloy.

When Pavel was done with that, Kazura would be content that the result of that experiment was the best that they could do for now. And he was itching to get some research time into the very interesting subject of reiatsu. So, producing an EKG machine and a set of electrodes with which to scan brainwaves, the inventor would hook up the assassin to the machine and instruct him to let out some of his reiatsu. He could either exert gravitational pressure or he could cast a technique. Either one would produce the effect that Kazura needed for his tests. They would measure the brain activity while using these techniques in an attempt to analyze what makes the Fullbringer brain tick.

When Pavel was given the three sheets, he paid close mind to what Kazura wanted him to do and simply nodded. He gripped onto the practice sheet and shoved his fingers through it and slowly pride the metal sheet in half. When he was sure that this was the result he wanted, Pavel would grip onto the first major sheed and take only mere seconds to rip the large sheet in half. Dropping it, he went to the middle one and pride that one apart, taking a few more seconds longer. The final one he gripped onto and gently ripped it in half, taking half a minute to do so. When he was done he stared at Kazura who would begin the second part of the experiments.

By being hooked up to the various tech he was told to release a bit of reiatsu, nodding he decided to pull out a small variant of gravity pressure. Adding a rather crushing effect to the surrounding room but doing nothing too harsh. When he was done he added a second effect, Cog. Which allowed him to put a more exagerated effect of pressure to those around him. This would perform what the test was looking for, when he was done he stared at Kazura and began to speak "Your testing is very intriguing. But what is the purpose of this test?" he turned and looked at the various equipment.

When he was allowed to stand up, Pavel rubbed his shoulders and prepared for the next test. Taking this oppertunity to ask a few more questions "Payment is not important, but the information we are gaining is. What kind of information do you plan to gain from this test? What items will we develop?" he calmly waited for a response from Kzura, if he was directed to the next trial, he would follow orders, if he was given the answers he would nod and listen to the response of the examiner. "For the betterment of the spreading of justice. This is for the greater good." he calmly whispered to himself.

The metal testing could have gone better if Kazura had been more clear on the directions, but it seemed that he was just going to have to take the data that he had. As Pavel rested slightly, which wasn't completely necessary, Kazura ran some calculations for a small factory unit that would put together something while they performed the next few tests. It would be kept secret from Pavel temporarily, but when it was ready it would be revealed to him. As the inventor went around attaching EKG readers and setting up the MRI machine, he chatted with his test subject.

"I'm not quite sure how much Medical knowledge you have, but these machines measure heart activity and brain activity. The EKG will just give a constant readout of your heart rate, detecting any irregularities when you expend spiritual energy, and the MRI will tell me what parts of your brain are responsible for giving you access to it. I might get no data, and I might get a huge stash of data. Only time will tell. Now, it's ready for you to begin." The testing went... interestingly. The gravitational pressure was something that Kazura had felt before, and this time it only caused his breath to leak out of him. He felt a bit of pride as he realized that he had become much stronger than before. However, the second wave of force was much different.

Cog was something that Kazura had never felt before. He suddenly felt very intimidated by the Fullbringer, more so than usual, and he couldn't explain why. It was helpful, though, that the machines weren't negatively affected by Cog. They continued to record data as usual. Kazura glanced over the information, though he knew that he didn't know enough about neuroscience to make sense of it without having a manual in front of him. He knew the basic regions that were being active, but he couldn't pinpoint exactly what parts of the brain were being used when Pavel released reiatsu.

As the test finished, Kazura got a message on his pager. The plate of metal that he had requested the robots work on was ready. A smile lit up his face as he went to the other room to retrieve it. When he came back, he looked as though he was holding just a plate of metal that was the exact same as before. "This plate... will be much more difficult for you to pierce, I guarantee it. It's not... normal. It's enhanced." The hesitation was simply Kazura pausing for dramatic effect, and making sure that the intimidating effects of Cog were out of his Voice. With his voice fine, the Uzaki was ready to show off his steel.

Each layer of the steel had a highly compressed, very tiny set of springs alongside the whole length. It would make this material incredibly expensive to produce, however it would make it incredibly durable. Every single microscopic layer of the steel was able to compress even further, absorbing insane amounts of force. When Pavel struck the steel the first time, if he didn't use his full force he might not even dent it. However, his strength would eventually overcome that piece of steel and break it open. It wouldn't be torn through like paper, that was for sure.

When Pavel was done having fun with the one sheet of super steel he was allocated, Kazura would be ready to start the final test. It was going to be a strange request, one that Kazura would need, but not something that was easy. Clearing his throat to get the other man's attention, the inventor spoke. "So, I need to see some reiatsu. I need to analyze the pure substance. I have containers for it, but it escapes before I can really understand it. I would like you to touch this battery so that I have a small amount of reiatsu to analyze, but I would also love to see some of the pure stuff with my own eyes. Do you have any way of doing that?"

"This plate... will be much more difficult for you to pierce, I guarantee it. It's not... normal. It's enhanced." Pavel observed the sheet of metal and how it looked. Because Pavel was not all that great in differentiating steel from steel, this one did not seem so different than the other ones. He cracked his knuckles and stared at the plate of steel. With half of his force he punched directly into the steel and stepped back. He stared, with a calm nod as it did not even make a single dent into it. He cracked his knuckles again and waited a few seconds before getting in front of the steel and stepped back, but this time delivering a punch that had all of his strength. A small smile was placed onto his face as he stepped back once more and stared at what little damage he did, The assassin stared at Kazura for a few seconds before nodding "How much for gauntlets or knuckles made out of this material?" he calmly asked before staring at it, the man stepped back and flexed his left leg a bit before delivering a forward kick into the plate with all of his leg strength. The steel began to give way somewhat but was resilient. With the momentum stopping within the steel plate Pavel allowed the leg rest and delivered another punch directly into the spot that he had just kicked. The steel felt like it was giving way but had a strong sense of resistance. Pavel stopped and looked at Kazura again "Actually, maybe a sword with this would be nice too."

With a final step he flexed the muscles within his arms and punched the steel plate, causing the plate to burst where he had punched it. Pavel stared at Kazura and nodded "This is interesting stuff. Probably expensive." That was when he cleared his throat and spoke "So, I need to see some reiatsu. I need to analyze the pure substance. I have containers for it, but it escapes before I can really understand it. I would like you to touch this battery so that I have a small amount of reiatsu to analyze, but I would also love to see some of the pure stuff with my own eyes. Do you have any way of doing that?" he thought for a few seconds and placed his hands onto the batter. That was when he had released a technique that was known as push, the technique allowed Pavel a stronger in terms of making him immune to Cut back. when it was charged, Pavel clapped a few times and stared at Kazura "Is that all you wanted me to do?" he stepped back and awaited more instructions.

"Yeah, it's expensive. Each microscopic layer of this stuff is separated by microscopic springs. It has so much room to give that all your energy is dispersed. I... doubt that I could muster enough of this stuff and have it sharp enough for a sword. It wouldn't be practical. A hammer, maybe. A sword... not so much." Kazura was definitely pleased that his steel could stand up to Pavel's level of force, but the stuff was bulky and unrefined. It needed a large thickness in order to be effective, else there wasn't enough space to compress. A sword made out of this material would be either blunt or wouldn't have enough thickness to give it the tensile strength.

Pavel used some sort of technique that allowed reiatsu to be manipulated, but it still wasn't good enough for Kazura's tastes. He really wanted to see some of the pure substance instead of reiatsu funneled through a technique. He wasn't aware of the differences in how reiatsu acted for each individual technique, the way that the energy was able to be used to provide various supernatural effects, and he really wanted to just see the raw material that allowed such awe inspiring feats. If Pavel was unable to produce the raw material, it would be unfortunate for Kazura, but he'd get over it. "I guess I'm just not satisfied. Each time you use the energy, it's doing something different. It's making you stronger, or making intimidation. I can't get good data if I'm not seeing the pure stuff without the effect."

After he had performed his action it seemed that it did not agree with Kazura's wanted action "I guess I'm just not satisfied. Each time you use the energy, it's doing something different. It's making you stronger, or making intimidation. I can't get good data if I'm not seeing the pure stuff without the effect." Pavel thought for a few seconds and came up with a conclusion, "I see." with the usage of willpower, the battery should begin to charge with his reiatsu, the color around him turned a small hint of white as he charged it. Once it was full he handed it to Kazura. "This should be satisfactory for now. Yes?"

Kazura thought for a quick moment, before walking through a wall, muttering to himself. Right before he hit the wall, a dark tunnel appeared in it, causing Kazura to vanish from sight. He returned nearly immediately, dragging a large club. It was quite heavy for the man, but Pavel wasn't going to have any problems with it. "It'll take awhile for my factories to be able to produce this sort of material, so this will have to do instead, as a gift from researcher to the participant. I greatly appreciate your work. You know how to contact me if the need arises, XSG #6." Letting the club drop into Pavel's grip, Kazura thanked the man again before collecting the reiatsu sample. He ran it through his system, but nothing he had access to could even detect it, much less analyze it. Someday he'd understand the material. Someday.
