What was this new presence that the great beast was intercepting. No, not intercepting, but rather receiving from this new individual. This new individual was different from the pestering presence that was lingering around the shadows. Rather than sneaking up on him or attacking, it appears that this one was . . . out in the open. The individual was in the clearing as sounds of sirens and cries of fleeing people fading away into the vast narrow streets surrounding him. He could have he heard it. After thrashing the area within his reach, the Adjuchas could have sworn he heard a faint " . .Tsst!. ," luring him to the unmarked street ahead of him. Under normal circumstances Adrastos would trend cautiously against something that was foreign to him. Evaluate its strengths and weaknesses before advancing, but there was no time to find a reason to remain in hiding.
This individual was in the open and based on its current actions it was not doing much of anything but lingering in place. Strange. Is it possible that it was waiting for him to come out of hiding and fight him in the opening? What if it was those Shinigami vermin? The blurry images of his birth were both haunting and brought the hankering need to demolish such beings. His anger for such beings could possibly even match the flames of Hades themselves. And if this being happens to be one of them, then it will he who will extinguish their life after tearing their body to bloody chunks of meat.
Without warning or a second thought in the creature's mind, the Adjuchas explodes from the war torn scene and charges directly through the already tumbling building to his left. Going around such a annoyance would hinder his movements, and would be much simpler to cover himself with steel, brick, and the irritating smoke the debris would create. Crying out in blood lust rage Adrastos' head drills through the weak materials that made the structures integrity and out into the street, where the individual was standing. To cause more devastation in chaos to a already demolished street, the Beast King slams the sides of his head into the balconies and escape ladders that were attached to the human structures. "RRRRAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHH! Adrastos. . destroy . .puny Shinigami!. .Adrastos . . destroy. . Seireitei. . Adrastos . .ROAR!" Like a rampaging stampede, the beast's heavy talons crash into the hard concrete street, crumbling the weak rock, sand, and water beneath his entire weight and strength. Dust clouds erupt from the charging mass of violence and anger, not offering the slightest hint of remorse of care for those around him.
Hunger was a second thought in his mind, for the wretched Shinigami would pay dearly with their lives. Amidst of the chaos and thrashing about, Adrastos was able to get a glimpse of this stranger. A tall well dressed man with a calm and promising expression on his face. He was mistaken. It was not his face, but his eyes that reflected such light. Something was nicking at his very soul. Just by glaring at the man behind narrow bone slits of his mask, the 40 foot tyrant hears a voice . . "Hush child, before you contest you cannot survive." A warning? This voice was warning him about a lingering danger around this place. How ludicrous. But at the same time, sincere.
His attire did not match with those of the Shinigami that the beast remembers, nor did he attack. This elder was just standing before a maniacal lizard king. Pressing his right foot down as hard as he could the beast comes to a complete halt, placing the massive body no less than eight feet away from the courageous man. The cloud of rubble and dust slams into the back of the Adjuchas, concealing his body for two moments before the man could see the giant lizard hunching over to take a closer look at him. Both arms resting on the ground to support his leaning torso, with his snout tracing nearly every curve on the man's body. Something was indeed off about him. Neither did he attack nor move, even after the display of carnage and destruction that the creature paved his way toward him. Amazing.
Arching one foot closer to the mysterious man the faint tug of sucking air into the box size nostrils were able to tell the beast that this man was not normal. If this man was indeed the one calling him, then he is beyond normal. Like the other that he had battled in the other city, this one was able to see him, due to the fact that he was staring directly at him. A few more moments did tell Adrastos what he wanted to know about this man. Although his senses were not sharp, but he could tell that by piecing the distinct smell of the Hueco Mundo was on him. That cold, sandy, musty smell was unique to only one location. And after spending who knows how long there, anyone from there could immediately take notice. For Adrastos, it took a little longer, and he had to be a least this close to the man to notice that faint aroma.
He did not have the traditional hole marking anywhere on him from what Adrastos could see, and he did resemble any other human that wander about in this city. So then why was he here? A closer examination of the individual had also told Adrastos that he was one of the powerful presences that he was tracking. Which means that there the other ones were close to here. This man's actions had already proven that he meant no harm, and in order to show the same mutual respect for someone who was not willing fight, especially if he is kin. This was about both honor and respect. And this one has shown it. So it was custom that he showed the same. Taking another wiff of his kin the beast speaks nothing but one word, ". .brother. . muttering the single word with a bestial growl rumbling in his throat.
With no other words need to be said, the Adjuchas turns toward the other signatures that remained, slowly parting his jaws open. He was still ready to feast on something, and the pools of clear saliva was more than enough to prove it.
