The spider was eradicated off of the face of the Soul Society, and Kyosuke was finally laid to rest in peace. No more tears would be shed for him, and Kyomei resolved to let his memory stay that he died a hero fighting a Hollow, rather than being forced to attack his own kind. It would be better for his family if they never knew the truth, and old wounds were not opened, thus Kyosuke would both die a hero and live to see himself become the villain. A bittersweet fate indeed, but at least there was nothing left of him to be dragged down to hell like the girl that Hokori had freed from the minotaur. It was the greatest mercy Kyomei knew how to give to his friend, the cessation of the existence in suffering, though that didn't make it any less depressing. "Goodbye, old friend."
As Kyomei was saying his final goodbye, Kubi was raging at the floor screaming that he would kill the Game Master. Whoever he had recognized down there, it was affecting him so much that his normally stoic personality was overcome by the massive amount of rage. Kyomei wanted to reach out to him, to reveal his suspicions that it was all a fabrication, but then another figure was suddenly in the room. Normally when people of power wanted to make an entrance, they did so with flashy smoke and lights, but this was completely different. The Game Master appeared as if he owned the place, well he did but that is irrelevant. He simply showed up to talk to his captive audience, threaten them a bit, and leave, probably... hopefully...
Everything about the Game Master reeked of a morgue; he wore a white tuxedo with a white top hat with white silk gloves with white dress shoes and had pale white skin and eerily white teeth. With this high level of white covering him from head to toe, he'd have to be headed to a Japanese funeral. The massive grin on his face was creepy, especially because it was really the only facial feature that was visible behind the shade of the top hat. As he spoke, that creepy grin remained glued to his face and his lips just parted to let the words out from behind his pristine teeth. "Kill me, you say? So then kill me." Kyomei knew that on his home turf, against the Shinigami trio present the Game Master was untouchable, and obviously he knew that as well else he wouldn't be there looking so smug.
"Our plan is a great one, and it has already been fulfilled for me. My part now is almost done... " So the Game Master was probably soon to be finished, which meant that Hell could be making an aggressive move in the near future? That could be one interpretation of the words of the Game Master, but Kyomei wasn't about to over-analyze them, not now, especially because of the large cackling that was coming from the Game Master as he snapped his fingers. Again without the flashy entrance there was a fifth figure in the room, much taller than all of those present, easily eight to ten feet tall. It was a black behemoth in a massive suit of armor, easily appearing to have the strength to grind the Shinigami into dust.
The Game Master played around with his words, taunting them with the identity of the hulk behind them. It just looked forwards, no movement besides the breathing and the armor's creaking. "Looks like you need a little oil there, mister." The reiatsu signature of the figure behind the Game Master was odd, and when it was revealed to be a Shinigami, The Kenpachi Shousen, Kyomei was a bit surprised. Well, more than a bit, seeing as the former Captain was absolutely legendary. What surprised Kyomei the most was how weak the reiatsu felt in comparison to the stories. Kyomei had a very powerful reiatsu, and the reiatsu he was feeling was barely more powerful than his own. Maybe that's why the armor was creaking so much, maybe it was holding back the flood of power that followed the man wherever he walked, according to the stories.
If it was really true that the armor was holding back the legend's power, then Kyomei and the rest had reason to be very afraid. It didn't help that there was a roaring sound coming from Shousen, a dark and evil laughter that sent chills down Kyomei's spine. He wanted to be anywhere but here, and thankfully a door opened up behind them, revealing an escape for a panicking mind. Hokori jumped in front of him and Kubi, yelling to run, and that is exactly what Kyomei did. Kubi was ahead of him, being much faster and spurred on by the same fear that was gripping all of them at this moment. Kubi and Kyomei were sprinting along the bridge in that room, which only served to scare Kyomei more as it visibly cracked with every step they took.
Behind them, Hokori was sending waves of freezing reiatsu to block the doorway and keep them safer from the monster behind them. Using his proficiency of Battle Analysis and utter mastery of Kidou, Kyomei could see how the reiatsu poured through and out of the tip of his sword, could see the flow of the rapidly crystalyzing fluids, could reasonably work out how to reliably reproduce Hado 83: Sekkenkooriboufuu for himself. As a Technique Master, this wasn't beyond his abilities to accomplish. As Hokori finished the Kidou and joined them in their flight away along the bridge, the sounds of pure destruction followed him. It had taken just a few swings to completely eradicate the ice and leave Kenpachi standing before them, a wicked smile probably on his face. At this moment, Kubi and Kyomei would realize that there was no end to the bridge, and Hokori would soon find out the same as Kenpachi sent them all falling with a single blow from his old and worn Zanpakutou.
Falling is a very unique sensation, as gravity pulls you down and there is no longer anything to hold on to, to keep yourself sane. Falling down the pit seemed like a descent into the deepest darkness of night. The brighter light from above that felt so safe, so comforting, was ripped away from them and there was just a small artificial light down with them and blackness above them. It was impossible to know how far they fell, and if the light above was just turned off or was simply too far away to be seen by Kyomei's athletic eyes. The water they had landed in was horridly cold, but it drained fast so they wouldn't freeze solid any time soon nor drown. A riddle popped up on the wall and before Kyomei could really begin to figure it out Hokori had answered it and answered it correctly at that.
The doors slid open without a hitch, and no evil creatures came out of the tubes on the side. That was definitely a good thing, for sure. As Hokori led the way into the next room, like he had been doing so far, Kyomei would begin to notice that they weren't warming up from the cold of the water. "Wait one moment guys, come closer so I can keep us warm." With a momentary pause for them to do as he said, Kyomei crafted a quick Kidou in order that he could accomplish what he needed to do. It was the same combination of Tsuzuri Raiden and Sokkatsui as before against the spider, but this time it was a little less aggressive.
Instead of prioritizing the flames of the Sokkatsui, making it a Class 5 powered Kidou, Kyomei prioritized the arcing form of the Tsuzuri Raiden, making simple arcs of heat alongside his body, making it a Class 7 Kidou with a little heat added on the side. This would keep Kyomei from setting himself on fire as he hit himself with the heat, however the fire aura that he was giving off was small, only two inches in every direction from his body, so Kubi and Hokori would have to get a little closer to stay warm. Kyomei was practically a walking campfire now, and as they began to warm up they continued into the next room. It was a very open room with lots of moving platforms, some of which would sporadically fall to pieces. Kyomei, however, didn't focus on them very much, because looking down at them was a tall and slender figure.
The winged man with spiked blue hair had teeth like a shark, which were barely parted in a grin as he laughed and laughed and laughed. He was staring at them, seemingly staring right into their souls with his eerie unblinking gaze. Those red eyes seemed to bore their way through the air, Kyomei had no choice but to avert his gaze into a different direction. When he said that he was bored and wanted a little company, Kyomei spoke up first. "Hello, Mr. Slender man guy. By the way, cool wings. Anyways, hi, I think we're supposed to not like you, since you're here, but umm yeah. Hi." Kyomei was just plain babbling at this point, trying to make conversation to fill in the empty space, while allowing the other two Shinigami to warm up a little more. What the other figure in front of them would say in order to keep the conversation going was yet to be seen.
Remaining Reiatsu: 6375/7350 (-25 Tsuzuri Raiden, -100 Sokkatsui)
