[u][b]Qualifying Threads[/u][/b] [Below, provide the links to eight threads of characterization which qualify your character for Bankai. A total of eight regular threads demonstrating significant character development must be completed to qualify for Bankai, but the candidate must also participate in an Adventure. To earn the Adventure requirement, the minimum expectation is that the Adventure reaches at least three pages in length based on the forum standard of fifteen posts per page. From there, the thread may fizzle out in a variety of ways, but it counts so long as the page requirement is met. This means a total of eight regular threads and one Adventure are needed. On the other hand, if the Adventure is fully seen to completion, that completed Adventure counts for two regular threads. In this case, you only need six regular threads and your completed Adventure to reach the requirements.
In addition to the Adventure requirement, of the eight threads, at least three can only be completed after reaching the requisite class and rank to achieve Bankai. The last of these must be a solo training thread in which your character’s Zanpakuto spirit trains them to unlock their Bankai. This solo training thread may only be completed after all other requirements are met. Finally, aside from the two that have been otherwise specified, the threads may be of any type. Training, socials, player versus player, and the others may all count towards the thread requirements.]

{Passwords}Passwords are there to ensure that you've read the rules.
{Type}If you go to the Basic Rules subforum, you'll find "Types" is its own little page. Click this page, it explains types. Types are different character Types. Various types have various advantages and disadvantages in certain stats, in weapons and technique usage, in earning money, and much more!
{Squad}What Squad are you in? Even if you choose to start as an Academy Student, you should list a Squad you'd like to aim for, even if you ultimately choose another by the time you graduate.
{Rank}What is your Rank within your squad? Are you an Academy Student, an unseated officer, or do you claim a seat of Fifth or higher? Maybe you're even a Vice Captain or a Captain! List your starting Rank here.
{Name}What is your character's name? Include full name if you'd like, and any nicknames as well!
{Age of Death}This is how old your character was when he/she died. Essentially, this means the age occupied when your character, as a human, ceased to live, and became a spirit. 1-100. No older. If your character was born in Soul Society, and was not sent there by Soul Burial, then state that in this slot.
{Real Age/Age of Appearance} Please state your character's official current age in the first part. This is how many years they have existed. Shinigami have very long lifespans, and can go into the hundreds quite easily. Age of Appearance is how old your character appears to be in our human years, meaning 1-100. A character should not appear younger than 14.
{Blood Type}What is your character's blood type? A, B, O, or AB? Positive or Negative?
{RP Sample}This is the optional roleplay sample you can give. Not only does it give those viewing your profile an idea of your roleplay style, but it also helps better establish your character as an individual from how they act in the scenario you provide.
{Height/Weight}The first one is how tall your character is. Please use feet and inches. The second one is how heavy your character is. Please use pounds.
{Physical Description}This is what your character looks like. Include all the details. Outfits, body type, skin tone, special markings, eye color, hair style, etc. Talk all about what your character looks like. If you wish, you made include a picture, and use it as this character's "face claim." Face claim is an existing character appearance from another source such as a show or a game that your character claims for use as his/her appearance.
{Dislikes and Likes}These are what your character likes and dislikes. You need to have minimum five for each of these. Create a list of them in your app. Remember, they ARE important, and don't feel like they're any less important for being trivial or basic - every bit of extra detail fleshes out your character's personality that much more! Be sure to include a short description for each one, a quick sentence to better elaborate on each like or dislike.
{Habits, Flaws, and Fears} Habits happen to be your habits. Speech quirks, repeated gestures, etc. List at least three of these at minimum. Flaws are your character's flaws. Physical flaws, flaws in their appearance, flaws in personality, etc. At least four of these are required. Fears. What does your character fear? You can't have "this character fears nothing." Everyone fears something. Goals are what your character wants to do with his/her life. What it is your character wants to accomplish. Include a short description for everything.
{Alignment}This is your character alignment, which ranges from Lawful to Neutral to Chaotic, as well as from Good to Neutral to Evil. This is listed in two words, such as "Lawful Good," or "Chaotic Neutral." While this doesn't bind your character's personality and agendas in stone, it helps better define the character's overall personality and aims. This is flexible, and may change as your character does, but for now, decide on a starting alignment.
{Overall personality}Take at least four paragraphs and describe your character's personality. Talk about how they act, how they respond to certain situations, etc. This is all about your character's internal workings and external interactions. It's one of the most important things your character needs.
{Fighting style}Talk here about how your character fights against others. Explain any battle styles he/she knows, and explain special and unique quirks in a character's style. Give examples of how your character reacts to situations, and how he/she uses his/her powers in battle. At least 3 paragraphs required at minimum here. Keep in mind that certain types of combat, like specialized martial arts or high expertise with a weapon, will require a Skill Point investment to match those skills.
{Zanpakuto Spirit Appearance, Inner World, Zanpakuto Appearances, Release Names}What does your Zanpaktou Spirit look like? This is a manifestation of one's soul that you meet when you communicate with your Zanpakuto. Feel free to include a personality too. Inner World is what the world inside your soul looks like. This Inner World is where you meet your Zanpakuto spirit. Zanpakuto appearances means the appearances of your Zanpakuto, telling us what it looks like in its various forms. You must use descriptions for each available level, meaning Sealed, Shikai, and, if/when you choose to get it, Bankai. You may also include images in addition to descriptions.
{Overall ability, Shikai overall ability, Bankai overall ability}Overall ability talks about your Zanpakuto's power as a whole. What does it do? This is a section to give a concept of the ability, and serves as a framework for the power rather than a list of its mechanical effects. Shikai Overall Ability is where we get into the mechanical aspects of your power: while the Overall Ability tells us what the ability is, this section goes into the how. How does your power use its ability to accomplish its goals in battle? For example, if your power is flight, how do you fly? Do you create currents of Reiatsu, grow wings, etc? The same goes for Bankai if you aim to have it, and it will be on a greater and more powerful scale than your Shikai.

{Zanpakuto Techniques}You get a number of Zanpaktou techniques depending on what stage of Release you have access to. By default, you have six techniques available. Give a description of each technique and what it does. It is recommended to split them between Shikai and Bankai, but if you choose not to have Bankai, you can instead assign them all to Shikai.
{Other Techniques}These are your techniques outside of Zanpakuto release. List all non-Release techniques that you would like to start with. You start with a number of techniques based on your intended starting Class: you start with two techniques for each Class. For example, if you intend to start at Class 6, you'd gain two Class 8, two Class 7, and two Class 6 techniques. You can also exchange higher-Class techniques for lower Class ones; for example, a Class 6 technique can be exchanged for a Class 7 or Class 8 technique.
{Birthplace, Current Residence, and Memorable Figures} Birthplace is where your character was born. Current Residence is where your character now lives, at the end of his/her history. Memorable Figures means that you should list the people that were memorable in your character's history. All the most important. You can include pictures if you want, and even short descriptions.
{History}The last part of the app. The minimal requirement is 8 paragraphs. You need to talk about your character's life, and what happened leading up to the now, the present. What has your character been doing leading up to the now, where you use them?
