Arcadus walked out of Kitai's shop, having delivered the plans and first edition of his newest blade, Insect Rust, a ceramisized bone-iron compound meant to leak a natural venom that caused necrosis among other effects, and walking away with a copy of it, he slid it into his scabbard cannon, collapsing the rattling golfbag of sword scabbards into its single bladed mode and slinging it onto his hip. It was a beaming sunny day in Karakura, the dust from the road rising off of it like steam off water. Arcadus looked behind him at the gas station adjacent building.
It was nice to work with Kitai. He enjoyed working with the man and the Saika seemed to enjoy working with him. He hoped his blades would sell well, they were expensive but hopefully thier power would draw more people to the store with perhaps greater funds and a more discerning taste. A more distinguished customer brings in more money, and more money means better times. He did have THAT plan in mind for Los Noches, but that needed capital, resources, and support. Those things he did not have at present, at least within Los Noches. He could do better to interact with Marik, and that new Trecera, Astrid. He'd seen her before, at the invasion of Soul Society.
As for making an effort in this venture, maybe something more consumable, maybe a bottled version of the liquid fire his release created, a kind of fire bomb would be interesting, and potentially sell well for those interested in chaos and destruction, a commonality in Kitai's clientele. As for everything else, he was saddened to see Rose go, they had such interesting contributions. Realizing he was lingering far longer than he had intended in the lot, Arcadus turned around. He knew that Kitai had brought on an assistant, but he hadn't seen hair or hide of them anywhere, though that might have been just poor timing.
Thinking that, he sensed a presence rounding the building, and he spied her, an odd creature, likely some kind of mod soul or construct creature, with wild pink hair done up in what appeared at a distance to be dreads, and Arcadus, looking at the tools and equipment she was carrying figured this was the aforementioned help. Arcadus figured it was high time to actually meet and introduce himself, and with gravel crunching under his shoes, he strutted over.
His outfit was about as close to casual clothes as he wore, being a red undershirt and black button up and black pants, gold buttons and his sunshine blonde hair slicked back, black cowboy boots standing in for work boots. Turning as if he hadn't seen her and throwing up an arm in a wave, shouted. "Hello there! I'm guessing you're Crystal right! Kitai and Kitai have told me good things about you!." His smile flashed a set of pearly whites and with a bit of a stamp he came to a stop in about the center of the lot, now standing in the shade of the roadsign.
