Ada began to wade through the battlefield, her soft eyes darting from the mass of bodies sprawled around. Hollows, Shinigami, and beings from hell, littering the landscape like a twisted painting. The sight was dizzying and disorienting, her heart began to palpitate and her breathing became uneven as she pushed forward, distracted by the carnage. "How..how could any of this happen?"Even Ada's inner voice sounded off-balance and afraid. As she stumbled forward the edge of her foot caught onto one of the corpses' arms, flinging Ada face forward into the blood and muck. The hit jogged her senses into focus and the rest of the scenery started to finally bleed through. Fires raged all over the place, so much so the heat could be felt even without being the source and the air she breathed felt dry enough to choke the life out of you. The sky was black with smog and only the slightest hint of silvery moonlight was breaking through, only to be drowned out by the light of the raging flames. It was however surprisingly silent, only the occasional ringing of clashing metal as the last of the distant battles cleared up. Ada couldn't tell who won yet.
Assuming anyone won, it was questionable if anything involving this many bodies could ever be called a victory by any side. Ada let out a ragged cough as the dry air coiled it's way into her throat. She had to move. How tired she was, how hurt she was none of it mattered. She had a mission after all. Using her weapon to assist her, Ada stood herself up, stumbling about as she did so. It seemed her legs were injured though she couldn't remember exactly how. Actually, come to think of it what was her mission? Ada was drawing a strange blank.
"Doesn't matter..just keep moving forward. Have to keep going." Ada egged herself on as she began to make her way through the battlefield once more, using her sword as a walking stick with both hands gripping her decorative hilt. Ada walked for what felt like hours through this seemingly endless field of bodies but at the end of it all she found her destination or at the very least, what she assumed what was driving her forward. It was a tall, three story building adorned in untouched and immaculate marble. It looked so out of place amid this scenery it was painful yet it invited an otherworldly calm into Ada's spirit. Through ragged choked breaths Ada hobbled her way up the stairs, crimson dripping and staining the otherwise perfect marble with each step she took. When she finally reached the top she rested both her hands onto the door ready to fling them open or at least as much as her waxing strength would allow. She had no clue what she would find on the other side but something deep within her was telling her it was the correct thing to do.
Ada leaned forward and pushed the doors apart, stumbling through the entrance. Grand music rang out, the sounds of strings, horns and percussion dancing in unison as the people inside moved effortlessly around each other in choreographed steps. The people were dressed in a grand array of colors ranging the full spectrum with each odd outfit being flashier and tackier than the one before it. Each one adorned with a mask, although not of the hollow variety and the grand ball raged on without a thought to the outside.
"What the hell is go- huh..?" Ada tripped over her own words as she noticed the air was crisp and fresh, her pain was gone and everything had changed. Her sword replaced with a purse, her battle atire stained with blood, rips and tears replaced with a crimson one piece that flowed past her ankles and on her face a mask adorned with feathers and a beak. The more she thought about it the faster her memories started to pour out of her like a leaking faucet and before long she had long forgotten about the previous place knowing only the party she was at now. Ada doesn't remember arriving but thinking only brought fog so she joined in, allowing her body and instincts to guide her actions. A swing of champaign, a taste of the beautifully shaped food rolls the waiters held at the ready all around the ballroom floor and before much longer, she found an eager partner who had the mask of a dragon. There was instant attraction and Ada begqan to dance with this person. The song was too slow for a tango but not quiet slow enough for a waltz, so they improvised.
As they danced Ada was struck with an odd and lingering sense of familiarity - the kind one gets when seeing a forgotten friend after years - but couldn't place it. The music was reaching it's crescendo and to finish off their dance Ada's partner spun her out, holding her hand to keep her from losing control. Suddenly though Ada's senses were shocked as she felt her body hit water. It rushed up over as she sank to what felt like the bottom of the sea. The water had no taste and despite her confusion and panic at first, Ada noticed she wasn't drowning and a sense of calm started to come over her.
"Ah, so that's what's going on..again and again." Ada thought to herself although her voice ringed out loudly inspite of this. Ada already knew what was coming at this point so it was of no surprise to her when the water rushed down past her and left her standing on a street in the human world with rain pouring down around her, the crash of thunder ringing out and Ada herself was dressed in the standard black and white outofit of a shinigami, the one she wore towards the end of her days at the Academy. It always took time for her to realize because the events leading up to this place are as random as any dream, however it always ended up on the same night, her reliving of the night that hurt her the most.
What happened next would always be the same. She would get a strong sense of urgency pushing her forward to jog through the rain to one of her classmates, a friend she got brought up with who was engaged with a hollow. This particular hollow was dangerous and converted it's victims into hollows themselves, completely under his control. They weren't full hollows really, more like hollowified puppets. He kept these puppets around to fight battles for him and then as he grew hungry or weak, he'd eat a few. Ada and her friend were ambushed while out on a supervised patrol, a test to see how they'd handle the job. Ada especially was under special supervision. Just like always Ada would reach her friend who would be hurt. She would step in to try and save him but being afraid of her own abilities would hold back and hesitate, afraid of hurting those around her. Again, as always the hollow would take advantage of it and once again she would watch her best friend recieve a fatal blow before a dragon like hollow mask covered his face..He'd raise his weapon to Ada and strike and right as the blow landed..
Ada blinked her eyes open from her restless sleep, tears streaming from her soft grey eyes, silent and expected her. Her throat was dry and she didn't help the situation as she sat up, taking a small swig of the Sake she had fallen asleep with in her hand. It was rare she got drunk by herself by the previous night was the anniversary of that event. Rolling herself out of bed Ada would wipe her eyes dry before walking to the mirror she had in her little room, not only to inspect how bad she looked but to look upon the hand made mask she had set there, a crafted mask in the image of the hollow mask which covered her friend's face. Gently she ran her fingers across the face of the friend she killed not once, but twice. She inhaled sharply to stifle back anymore tears, bowing her head ever so slighty as she spoke out in a hushed whisper.
"Sorry, Jack.."
Shaking her head Ada slapped both her hands onto her face to snap her out of the depression. The day was starting after all. It was time to put on the soft smile that her friends and comrades expect of her. The time for weakness and emotional dependancy is past, that is what the dreams are for. Now is the time of the warrior, of the shinigami. So, Ada got ready for the day in the same way she always did. Shower, dress, mounting her friend's mask on her right shoulder, her artistic hole to her chest, the same place Jack's was located, mounted her weapon and set off to start the day and see where things would lead. Just another restless night.

-Appearance-
Height/Weight: 5’8”, 173 pounds
Physical Description: Adalon or Ada as she likes to be called most commonly is a young looking and sleek girl who – at least to the untrained eye – could be thrown around by the smallest of breezes and presents no real threat to any who would wish to do her harm. Those who look closer however, especially any trained in combat would be quick to realize Ada for the warrior she is rather it be from the proud and upright way she walks or perhaps the piercing glare she directs at those around her. No matter what it is however upon closer observation it would become clear to all but the most untrained bumpkin that to underestimate this girl would be a fatal mistake. Starting with her more simple features Ada came in as a taller-than-average woman standing at Five feet, eight inches (5’8”). Her Torso was smaller than one might expect lending most of her height into her leg length, which can at times make her look taller or shorter than she really is, depending on the body portion people tend to focus on. When fully dressed her build would seem slender and proper like any ladies however if one was to catch a look at the skin underneath they would note the well-defined muscle tone. Built and functional with no wasted bulk, perfectly lean.
This build was a testament to the fact Ada was, at least in her eyes a true warrior, built perfectly for battle instead of attempting to use her body to advertise some kind of false bravado or power. But like most everyone, living, spiritual or otherwise Ada was not perfect even in her own ideals and that showed with her hair. Despite her ideals to be a strong and effective warrior she refuses to cut her hair, allowing it to reach it’s current length all away down to her lower back. While she does attempt to restrain it with a folded pony tail and bow , it doesn’t change the fact it is a potential weakness in battle but for emotional reasons her hair has always been precious to her. So if nothing else, Ada’s raven black hair as beautifully kept as it may be could be a sign of her imperfections and past, as well as her weakness. The next section of note would be Ada’s mannerisms and many of these are contextual as they are with most people. While she always carries herself upright and proper, keeping her footing in check, etc, she also allows her face to express her kinder side. Ada’s lips and eyes are her most expressive features and she uses them to great effect to offset the often unease those weaker than herself may feel around her, due to her spiritual pressure or reputation. Despite dedicating herself to the path of the warrior after all she was still a girl after all and she was truly a kind person, although that kindness can easily be overlooked and forgotten. Although her soft grey eyes always carry the sharp look of a predator that is used to a world of swords and blood they very often soften and invite those around her in, to talk and relax. She uses her warming smile to accomplish the same feat as well, something tries to wear as often as possible.
The dichotomy of trying to be a strong and efficient warrior while also balancing out the fact she is still a woman who wants friends and companionship is difficult and as contradicting as it might sound, but it is a balance Ada strives for every day. This duality of desires and blending of fates shows further still In her choice of outfits. While Ada will of course wear the standard Shihakusho when required by her job her style drifts more towards the custom. Ada prefers to wear a modified version of the Shihakusho dyed in a beautiful crimson red. The style of the outfit is closer in looks to what the old execution squad members used to wear color aside. The largest additions however are on her right shoulder and in the center of her chest. The shoulder bears what looks to be a hollow mask formed in the shape of a lion. Although not a real hollow mask as that vanished with the hollow it belonged to, this was an exact replica she carries around with her, something to remember a painful and important memory and a way to carry a former friend into battle with her. It is easily her single most treasured item and due to this she has back ups if it was ever broken. Most people mistake this for a Trophy; a kill Ada took pride in, similar to how hunters would mount their kill’s head. To the contrary however, it was a remorseful token. The silver piece over Ada’s heart despite looking like armor however is also a decorative piece, represenitive of a perfect circle, similar to that of a hollow hole. Another symbol most people misunderstand, not that Ada would expect people to get it. For Ada this symbolizes her personal belief that her and hollows aren’t all that different when it comes down to it. They fight to survive, they kill their enemies and devour them as well. Hollows in the literal sense, practice and refinement of her power in Ada’s. This view also stretches from her lost friend who’s mask she bears on her shoulder. While Ada knows her duty is one that must be done and she has thus dedicated herself to that drive, she in the end views Hollows as equals and lamentable rather than dogs to be hunted and killed like some.
Finally we come to Ada’s Zanpakutou who’s name she still does not know. As a byproduct of Ada’s unnaturally strong Spiritual Pressure and general power, her Zanpakutou cannot ever release, fully form or communicate with her. Her own power overshadows and suppresses the spirit within her blade and even restraining herself doesn’t help due to their spiritual connection. This is a subject that still to this day depresses Ada, as she feels like a failure both as a shinigami and as a partner. She is aware of a presence being there but communication is simply impossible.Due to the weapon being stuck in it’s sealed state, she has taken liberties in how she decorates her blade at least. Her weapon is more a traditional single bladed long sword than Katana and the sheath and hilt she employs are decorative gold to match the style of her outfit. The blade itself has no guard. Rumor suggest that due to her overpowering presence and inability to release her weapon that it’s sealed form was warped and shifted to a more usable form for her style of fighting by sheer force of will and power. But of course, there is one more thing that makes Ada unique and stands out from the rest of her Soul Reaper peers and that is one of the things that make her a Kenpachi: Her unique Spiritual pressure.
Aside from the way it affects the world around her when left unchecked it has a unique appearance it takes on when she allows it flow freely. Her spiritual pressure emits a deep crimson color that notably distorts the air around her, as if it were heat although none can be felt. To be within this aura to those with the sensory skills to notice would note how thick and heavy it feels compared to normal auras and how the distortions are actually the Reiatsu in the air and objects made of Reiatsu being visibly warped by the influence. Ada’s spiritual pressure will lash out, look and feel unstable and overall lend itself to feelings of a cold and calculated violence and menace.
Lastly, when in the human world Ada of course wears a Geigi which looks exactly like her spiritual form, minus the modern clothing. That said however it is rare she ventures into the human realm, as an accidental unleashing of her powers in the human realm could be disastrous for the innocent people in the area and thus if she does go, she generally wears something akin to the limiters Captain’s wear, forcibly weakening her and preventing her from summoning her power without first removing the limiter. Even so, if given the choice she would stay in Seiretei or stick to Hueco Mundo incursions, so that her powers could not hurt anyone other than her enemies.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Personality-
Dislikes: 1.) Violence: Despite her power and talent for such things, in the end Ada is a partial pacifist and prefers settling things without the use of violence. The reason she became a soul reaper and studied the way of the warrior after all was to master herself and prevent herself from accidently hurting those around her and as such the same mentality carries through with her duties. That said if the situation calls for it Ada would never hesitate to draw her sword and end the problem as quickly as possible, the fact is she made that mistake once already and it cost her friend their life. It was because of this loss that she has formed her more balanced and grey philosophy finding peace when possible but preventing greater violence with calculated malice when the time calls for it.
2). Weakness: Something that stems from her own insecurity than anything else, Ada has found herself holding a small amount of resentment towards those who are weak. It is an ugly thought and feeling she does her best to repress but it itches at the back of her mind from time to time and if she was being honest with herself she would know the truth. Ada holds this resentment towards the weak, simply because of her situation. If it wasn’t for people being weak she would never have had to pick up the sword, fight, lose and risk her life and the lives of friends. Worse than weak people however are the weak ones who mistake themselves for strong and get themselves and others hurt trying to do more than their power allows of them: This more than anything will set Ada off into a rage. The sheer stupidity of it all, dying for no reason.
3.) Laziness: Having dedicated most of her spiritual life to self improvement, strengthening her spirit and training in the way of the warrior it should come as almost no surprise that Ada has come to hate those who are lazy. Of course slacking off here and there is one thing but those who constantly choose not to do what is expected of them, shirking their duties and pushing things onto others all because they themselves can’t be bothered, it truly gets under Ada’s skin and she usually wants to adjust their attitude.
4.) Traitors: Traitors, oath breakers, liars all the same thing in the end and all of them Ada despises. These kind of people stand in stark opposition of everything Ada stands for and has fought for, they threaten the very existence of herself and those she wants to protect and they use the weak to further themselves only to throw them away like disposable trash. If Ada comes face to face with someone she knows has carried out some form of grand betrayal or put Soul Society at risk for personal gain…this is the kind of person Ada would let herself enjoy killing.
5.) Beings of Hell: With the segment of traitors being here it should be no surprise that Ada holds a great disdain for the beings of Hell, no matter what kind of hellfiend they are. All of them did something horrible to deserve going to hell and none of them can mean anything good. Unlike hollows who she sees as equals and in all ways redeemable either through negotiation or purification, the only answer Ada can believe in for creatures of hell, sinners or otherwise, is at the end of her weapon. They’re dangerous, murderers and traitors all. What good could come from letting them roam free?
Likes: 1.) Reading One of Ada’s favorite downtime activities is reading books from the human world. Although since it is very rare that she can get there herself she usually ask lower-ranked shinigami who are on patrol in the human world to bring things back for her if they can. Ada’s favorite genres of book are horror novels such as H.P. Lovecraft and Steven King. She also enjoys studying the folk lore of the human world, enjoying the tales of gods and demons from all over the world. Being a spiritual being and knowing how the other side really works, it brings a bit of amusement to Ada to see how far human imagination can go.
2.) Sparring: Although Ada herself is not a big fan of direct violence, she is however a rather large fan of sparring. It keeps her body in shape, her skills sharp and she can help strengthen those around her all at the same time. Not to mention the physical workout helps take Ada’s mind off things that bother her and can help her focus on important issues as well. It’s training for the soul as much as it is the body and that is nothing short of a healthy spirit life style.
3.) Drinking: When it comes to relaxing nothing beats kicking back with some drinks. Although Ada prefers to drink with company rather strangers or friends, she is more than happy to drink by herself although she rarely would get drunk by herself. Ada’s preferred brew is Mead and Vodka, although she also enjoys Sake, served hot. Some might find themselves surprised at how fun loving and loose a “To the bone” warrior type like Ada can be and it’s in these moments that she is her most relaxed and the most true to herself. Drinking lets Ada chill out, forget about her nagging issues and just be herself. As far as her drunken state, Ada tends to be a giggly drunk, laughing at just about anyone and anything that is even slightly north of humorous.
4.) Patrol Dutry: So many people seem to hate patrol and understandably so, it is rather monotonous, nothing ever really happens but in the end it serves an important purpose and has to be done. Ada however loves this little part of her job, mostly because it allows her to interact with the soul among the rukon district every once and awhile. Ada sees it as her chance to do a little good and help with minor problems and such while also protecting her home from any potential invaders. Sure it’s slow but it’s rewarding for the soul and Ada enjoys the simple things.
5.) Knitting: The last of Ada’s little hobbies is one she picked up on one of her ventures into the human world, during her later time in the Academy. It takes a lot of attention to detail and focus to successfully knit more complicated patterns and the repetition is calming. If Ada is upset or in general just needs to empty her mind, this is what she turns to doing. In a way, it’s her form of meditation. Ada has also considered picking up sewing but has yet to do so. One day, maybe.
Flaws: 1.) Afraid of herself: Ada’s biggest flaw is one that has defined her whole being up until this point and that is she fears the power she wields. There have been times in the past where she lost control of it and inadvertently caused people she cared for harm along with just general destruction. Even now when she does have better control over herself she can sometimes break and destroy things she doesn’t mean too by using too much of her physical strength and despite her training to restrain herself, she still fears of her spiritual pressure going out of control. It’s why she hates violence; it’s why when she does fight she wants to end it rapidly. Anything to contain herself. Ada has even considered asking the R&D to develop something to lock her power away permanently, but she has shied away from this option because she’s also afraid of being powerless. It’s a vicious cycle and one that unfortunately defines her seemingly unshakable exterior. A fortress built on shifting sand.
2.) Klutz Inside a combat situation thanks to constant and detailed training, Ada is efficient and calculated. Outside however..She can be somewhat of a scatter brain. Accidently open a door too hard and breaking it, dropping things, sometimes even tripping over things. While Ada is hardly the mostly clumsy person to have ever lived, she I still more often than not embarrassing herself and causing property damage she never wanted to cause, leading to a lot of bowing and apologizing.
3.) Reluctant to lead: Ada has in many ways, chosen to remain a third seat and has no desire to ever rise in the ranks, no matter what her power is or will become. Due to the events of her past leaving mental scars that she has yet to recover from, the idea of leading people in any form is something she simply cannot bring herself to do. Being responsible for people’s lives in combat is one thing, but possibly having to order people to die for her and their home? That is something Ada doesn’t have the stomach for nor is something she wants on her conscious currently. So unless that gets resolved, she plans to stay the 3rd seat forever, assuming nothing forces the issue of course.
4.) Hero Complex: Due to the constant need to protect those around her from harm, both from enemies and herself, Ada has developed a little bit of a hero complex. Although it isn't to a near suicidal degree like some people who have such a complex, she does still try to handle things entirely by herself even when they might be too much for Ada to handle alone. This is in part due to the aforementioned desire to protect people but also do to generally having the power to do it. This can lead to her overestimating herself, underestimating the enemy or both. Some could even accuse Ada of flat out arrogance but she would disagree simply because it isn't about feeling she is better than anyone else, simply that she rather be the one to get hurt compared to anyone else. For anyone familiar with her history, they would realize it is attonment and punishment, rolled into one.
5.) Overly Trusting: Lastly and perhaps one of Ada's most fatal flaws is she is way too trusting of people in general. She is rather easily suckered by money scams and the like, pretty much anything a sob story can be attached too. Her desire to help and protect makes her an easy target for these kind of people and half the time she rarely even figures out that she was scammed. Sometimes, even if she does know it she'll go along with it anyway if she feels she is helping the person out. That said, those who do things for no reason other than greed or malice tend to end up dragged into a cell with a few lumps for the trouble. While this trait doesn't necessarly extend into combat situations, it isn't impossible for such a thing to happen and gives potential for illusions to be effective if done cleverly.
Habits: 1.) Academy Trainer: Ada can often be found offering her services over at the shinigami academy. Although by no means an official instructor she likes to offer some of her free time to train the fledgling Reapers in combat as well as offering lectures about hollows, especially the stranger ones that she has encountered including the one that ambushed her and killed her best friend. Ada's hope is that in doing these things, she will prepare the students for the future they face more thoughtfully than many of the books will show, as well as getting their combat experience up by fighting someone they're not particularly used to fighting in the academy like the instructors and other students. This also ties into her personal love for training, although in this case it isn't Ada getting anything out of it. Lastly, she tends to look for students who show hesitation like she used to when it comes to combat for whatever the reason. These are people she likes to single out and explain her story too, hoping to shock them into focusing and realizing it's fight or die, for them and for their friends. Ada's dearest hope to prevent another event like what happened to her squad from ever repeating.
2.) Hummer: While Ada is in no way confident in her ability to perform or sing music she is still none the less a rather large fan of it. She enjoys humming songs she has heard through her life, some from writers in the Rukon district other songs that she has come across in the human world. Ada hums to herself most often when performing tedious task such as her knitting, cleaning, cooking, etc and can hold a rather sound melody. She will also start to hum during combat if it is someone she is completely overpowering, as to entertain her during the combat. This is most often during training weaker Shinigami in the academy but sometimes when facing weaker hollows she comes across now and again.
3.) Glaring: Despite Ada's best efforts to be as kind and as approachable as possible, the natural state of her face tends to be a soul piercing glare. This is in part simply because she has trained so much that the glare is what she is used to doing when focusing on combat and because of this, if she enters into any kind of deep thought she will accidently begin glaring. This can sometimes give people the wrong impression she is angry when in fact Ada just kind of forgot herself.
4.) Studying Dossier of her squad-mates: On the more bussiness end of her life, Ada likes to keep track of her squad and anyone who joins it. It is an inescapable fact that Ada will end up in combat with her squadmates at her side sometime in the future and she needs to know who she can trust, who she needs to protect and who could potentially be a liability. This isn't out of some sense of superiority but due to the fact that there might be times when, despite her best efforts, Ada would be forced to use her powers at their fullest and she needs to know who would handle such a situation the best. The ones who can't she can potentially seperate away from any group she is apart of to protect them or if needed she knows who to get out of harms way first. It also doesn't hurt to know your comrades and also offers up a chance to find good sparring partners.
5.) Hanging out with Research and Development: Last of her notable habits is Ada enjoys hanging around the Research and Development team. This is due to her early days as a shinigami, her power made her a point of interest and she needed help at times to control her power as well as extra steps to keep herself suppressed in the human world so she wouldn't accidently cause damage to the humans. This lead to Ada becoming well aquanted with R&D as they worked with her, studied her and the odd properties of her spirtiual pressure and it's effects on the environments around her. Oddly enough it is one of the few places Ada feels truly relaxed since she knows everyone there can handle anything that happens with her, even if it is thanks just to technology and knowledge. She will even retreat here to sneak naps if she feels the rare sense to do so.
Fears: 1.) Losing control of her power: Perhaps her single largest surface fear is the fear of losing control of all her power again, similar to what happened when her powers first manifested. Although no one died many spirits were hurt and buildings were damaged and if it wasn't for her best friend risking his life to calm her down and get Ada under control, it is very possible she could have done more than cause some minor injuries. This is a memory and fear that has carried Ada forward, leading her down the path she has walked up until now, all so she could control herself and protect the people around her from herself. If it wasn't for this fear she never would have wanted to become a Shinigami, Ada never wanted to be a warrior. She learned to fight and control herself out of a need rather than a desire and if she lost control now, all of it would have been for absolutely nothing. However, despite all this it isn't what she is most afraid of, although Ada might not realize that herself yet.
2.) Being unable to protect her comrades: Although Ada never desired to be a Shinigami or walk the path of the warrior, now that she has done so and has proven to be powerful, she has taken on the role of protector of those around her. Ada never wanted this but she wasn't going to turn down the ability to help those around here now that she already has this power so it is making lemonade out of lemons, more or less. Because of this, she fears failing the people around her, losing them like she did her friend Jack. That is a pain and guilt Ada never wants to bear on her soul again and her inability to move on from losses such as Jack is one of the prime reason Ada refuses to advance in rank. She doesn't view herself as fit for such things and perhaps she never will be.
3.) Hell: Although Ada's experience with beings from hell is extremely limited she has studied and read many stories about them, as well as hearing about many of the more powerful ones, especially those whom side with Arrancar and the Espada. The power of these beings is said to be otherworldly and terrifying and it is their attack, more than any other that Ada is preparing for and fears. Rather the fear is paranoid or based in reality has yet to be truly seen, but it is something she is waiting for and preparing for and is always in the back of her mind as she strives to grow her own power.
4.) Spiders: Even before Ada remembers, back to when she was a human child, she absolutely hated spiders and that instinctual fear has come with her to the spirit realm. Ada. Hates. Spiders. She will lose her shit if a spider gets on her and go full strength just to smash one. Spider based Hollow? Prepare to watch Ada go full strength to destroy it no matter the cost. It is a phobia except instead of running from the overwhelming fear and dread these creatures make her feel, Ada goes with the fight response and seeks to utterly destroy every atom of it's existence until she feels safe. Spiders suck.
5.) Becoming Powerless: Thus we come to a fear that is buried deep within her soul, one of which Ada has yet to personally acknowledge although it does influence many of her choices, such as declining to be permantely installed with a restraining device. Ada has known this power all her life and has become reliant on it both for her own protection and the protection of those around her. Despite how she has come to hate and fear her power in many ways she also cannot imagine a life without it. In unfortunate ways, she has become defined by it and lets herself be defined. Thus it is not only her deepest and darkest fear, one she even hides to herself but easily one of her largest weaknesses.
Goals: 1st.) Completely master her power: It should come to no surprise that one of Ada's ultimate goals is to be able to effortlessly control her power and make it her own. No longer does she want to have a power she just manages and keeps on a leash but rather something she wishes to wield as the weapon it was meant to be. To do this of course means increasing her own power so she can handle such a task as well as defeat her emotional demons, gaining control of herself in it's entirety. It's a long term goal and one she might never truly reach, but it is something that she is striving for and wishes with all her being to achieve.
2nd.) Get Hell under control: As should be obvious by now, Ada views hell as a gigantic threat both to humanity and to the soul society, specifically those powerful enough to escape their prison. Ada wants to find a way to strengthen the security in hell, to contain these beast and sweep any escapees right back to the pits they came from. How she could do this has yet to be seen, but it is something she wishes to accomplish one day, even if it means forming her own task force. But of course, she has issues to overcome before something like that could ever come into being. Still, Ada keeps an eye out and ear low to the ground to see if she picks up anything about the creatures that escape the pit, so that she can be ready to defend her home from them.
3rd.) Fufill Jack's dying request: This one is probably an impossible goal and one that Ada keeps secret to herself, but her friends dying words were a request. Forgive herself and live a happy life. While Ada has of course tried to do so and has to some extent molded out an okay life for herself, she is still haunted by that night to this very day, constantly having dreams and living it over and over again. Forgiveness isn't something that will come easy and she wears the guilt of her friend's death on her neck like a ball and chain. More than any other of her goals, this is perhaps going to be the hardest to achieve simply because survivors guilt is a tough thing. Worse yet, so few know she suffers it and Ada isn't out to look for therapist to speak too. She tries to honor him but fails every time which worsens the spiral. But hopefully, one day she can honor her friend's last request and move on, for the betteriment of herself and those around her.
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Overall Personality: Adalon Zenjira is creature of necessity and contradiction both in a sense of personality and desire. On the one hand she is someone for who as long as she can remember has had immense power that could not be controlled, merely suppressed and when she failed to do so due to her innate emotional instability, people around her got hurt. This has turned a girl who by all accounts and if being completely true to herself is a peace loving child who simply wants to have a normal life, settle down, get married, hang out with friends, adopt a kid and simply live life to it's fullest afterlife or no. She never would have chosen the life she currently leads if not for the fact she was terrified of hurting people and now she lives completely counter to her original ideal. She loves peace but is trained as a warrior. She hates violence but is forced to kill, rather to protect or not. She wants friends and to settle down but is terrified of being around normal souls, afraid of causing them damage just by her mere presence if she was ever to lose control. Ada hates her powers, hates her course of life and hates the things she has had to do just to survive and more than anything, if she was being brutally honest absolutely hates the people around her for being so weak that this had to happen at all. If it wasn't for that, she could still be normal.
On the other hand however, she has grown to love protecting these same weak people, using her curse for a cause she views as positive. She is a warrior who still to this day trains to not only increase her own strength but to control herself and the power she fears, not only for those same weak people but for herself. Ada is a person who is ultimately at war with herself, split down the middle and divided between the Ada who hates everything about herself and the people around her, who wishes nothing more than to be normal and the Ada that would give everything up to save her home and the people she sees. Yet both are terrified of the other. The warrior scared of normalcy and the normal girl terrified of the path of blood before her, of being alone. Ada herself couldn't tell you which side is the true version of herself anymore and which side of her wins out on a particular day varies. Further beyond this division in herself Ada is also fighting with scars from her past, a friend she felt she could have saved but her hesitation killed him once and then she was forced to kill him a second time. This trauma was the second driving force that has pushed her personality to the point it is currently at, what really drove forward the protector warrior that Ada shows to the world.
Jack's death still weighs heavy upon her like his corpse was an iron ring around her neck and she struggles with multiple things because of this: She refuses to take a leadership position of any kind, afraid of making the wrong choices and getting people killed, thus adding even more rings to her neck, a weight she knows would simply break her. She strives to train weaker shinigami and inform them as best she can to try and avoid her own mistakes and she is afraid of getting close to anyone outside of her own squad as well. The less people close to her the less people she can get killed after all and at least Squad eleven is known for their strength. Ultimately these things have molded Adalon into the person she is today, a strong warrior with a mild hero complex, desperate to please and fight those around her, even at the cost of her own body. Equally afraid of her power as she is of losing it and desiring only to get stronger so she can stop being afraid. Adalon is filled with contradictions that unless she is able to resolve, will keep her from ever reaching her true potential or happiness for she will constantly be pulling herself into two different directions and eventually that will break her.
Aside from Ada's internal turmoil however there are simplier sides to her. She is a woman who enjoys music of pretty much any genre, humming along as she relaxes knitting. She enjoys the company of friends and the taste of sake. It's during these small moments with the few people she trust and lets her guard down around that her normal, true self really bleeeds through and it is the moments of serene that truly make everything worth it for Ada and helps keep her firmly grounded. She enjoys her patrols around the Soul Society, helping those of the Rukon district with odds and ends that have nothing directly to do with her duties, she simply enjoys helping out and seeing people smile. She will play with children sometimes and even sneak a nap here and there, despite not liking lazyness - her own little hypocrisy, something she actually has made peace with. Ada is confused and far from perfect but what she is, is an earnest and good person, trying to figure a complicated life out and doing what she can. Perhaps with time she will figure everything out and get things settled and if she manages such a feat, she has a chance at truly discovering what strength she has. Perhaps she will fall apart at the seams. Only time can tell but what is a fact is that Ada will struggle forward, for better or worse because that is all there is to do, saving who she can while causing as little damage as she can help. The best she can hope for.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Powers-
Fighting Style: Ada's fighting style has one goal: To end a fight as precisely and efficiently as possible. This is for two reasons, the first being that if Ada is forced to fight seriously it is extremely straining on her body to go all out which makes long and drawn out fights a losing proposition from the start, not to mention due to the nature of her aura that the longer a fight goes on at full power the more damage it will cause to people and the area around her. The second reason is, if at all possible it is to avoid ever having to use her full power. When Ada is holding back, the longer a fight goes on the higher the chance is she will have to go full power in the first place, so if she can end it in a single and decisive strike, it would be best for everyone around her to do so. Ada is also aware that unlike other Shinigami, Arrancar, etc that she is at a stratigic disadvantage due to her inability to use her release, she simply doesn't have as many options, which leads a single road open to Ada: Her overwhelming speed and physical power. To this end she has developed her own fighting style that leverages her strength and speed which she has started calling "Path of the Kenpachi." These special Zanjutsu skills were developed as Ada went through combat and trials and have lead to powerful techniques that allow her to swiftly put an end to an enemy in merciless fashion. Most people don't have the speed and strength that Ada has after all, so it makes sense that there weren't proper styles of fighting suited to someone with her unique talents.
To agument her own special fighting style Ada has studied Hoho and various stepping techiniques to augment her speed and maneuverability to increase her defensive and offensive effectiveness. Ada's favorite of which is the mirage step, allowing her to avoid damage, create an opening and attack all in a single fluid step. In the midst of combat, Ada tends to attack with her weapon held in her right hand, with her left hand free. This isn't a means to weaken herself but rather so she can fluidly incorporate physical strikes and defensive moves into her combat style. There is also the fact that Ada's strength is as such that using both hands for a little extra power is generally pointless for her. Beyond how she fights though is Ada's mindset in the fight and it depends on the situation. Generally speaking whoever her enemy is has her full attention with Ada staying focused and observing every move they make. Although she is very confident in her abilities, she does her best to not completely underestimate the enemy although thanks to one of her personality quirks, she still does at times.
Things change when there are others around however, as Ada's focus switches to protecting and if possible evacuating whoever is in danger, assuming they themselves are not capable combatants. Ada will divided her attention between the enemy and the civi, keeping herself inbetween the two and waiting for any openings to rescue the person. If given the chance, she will take it without hesitating, even if it gets her hurt and get that person out of harms way. Should the enemy bypass Ada and go straight for the other person, Ada WILL take the bullet so to speak, whatever it takes to save them even at great personal cost. If however the other person is a fighter then Ada's approach shifts to cooperation and figuring out strategy. While Ada does prefer handling things alone, sometimes that just isn't possible after all.
Ideally it would be someone she knows, like a squadmate, so she would be well aware of their abilities and power level. That way Ada can adjust herself as needed and form a style of fighting or plan of action that lets them mesh and maximize both their strengths. A stranger in the mix makes this hard however, so she will watch, study and adjust on the fly, figuring out the strengths and weaknesses of the other fight as things go on. While Ada still would wish to protect these people, she acknowledges warriors as just that and will assume they are generally capable. Still should one be clearly in danger or unable to handle an enemy, that hero complex of Ada would snap in and she would jump in harms way to protect them.
Zanpakutou Appearances: [Insert Here]
Overall Ability: While Ada does not have access to the innate abilities of her Zanpakutou her spiritual pressure has unique properties which can be viewed as her own special ability. If forced to give it a name Ada would call it “Echoing Blows.” That said however it is less a power she can control than it is unusual phenomena caused by her uniquely dense Spiritual Pressure. When Ada is not restricting her power and going all out, the aura she puts out causes Reiatsu around her to distort and become volatile. Because of this, when things within her range of influence are struck, the disturbed area tends to explode after a short delay. The size and damage of the explosion is proportional to half the energy put into the attack. That said, it has major draw backs.
The first drawback is the fact Ada has absolutely no control over this. It is simply something that happens when she fights all out and as such it affects everything around her: Enemies, Surfaces, allies even herself. Also, unlike others who might be able to exit her spiritual pressure’s influence to potentially escape a nasty explosion, it isn’t something she is capable of. So it’s a sword that cuts both ways and it strikes back hard onto Ada should she be facing someone of equal strength or stronger.
Second drawback is the fact it is an ability that is active when Ada is fighting with her power unrestricted. This means, since she is a Kenpachi it is extremely tiring and she has a limited time to end the fight with it. If Ada reseals her power, passes out, or her time runs out then the effect ends instantly until she fully recovers. In other words, wars of attrition are her absolute enemy.
The third drawback ties into the first somewhat and that is it’s Area of Effect. It is also something completely out of her control, growing larger as she grow stronger and thus increasing the danger to surrounding allies but also making it’s effects harder to escape for enemies. Furthermore the area of effect is extremely easy to see, visible due to her unique color aura which becomes visible when at full power. Even to those blind but of particularly high sensory stats, they would be able to feel difference: Dense, heavy and volatile, like swimming through gunpowder. The size starts at 3 meters radius at class 8 and increases by 2.5 meters per class up, with Ada always directly at the center of the radius.
In the end the ability is as much trouble for Ada as it can be to those around her, as it restricts her ability to go full power if around anyone she cares about, furthermore it’s dangerous to her as well. While her innately born power as a Kenpachi brings her great ability and strength, it’s wild lashing and untamable power strikes out recklessly and without control or consent.
Other Techniques:
Technique Name: Shunpo (Flash Steps)
Class: 7
Technique Type: Kidō
echnique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects:
A movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow. The focal point that determines the basis of this technique is speed. As speed is the main point of the technique, the method is best characterized by how fast one can get from Point A to Point B in the least amount of steps. Training and skill are what determines how fast a user of Shunpo can move. Those of little skill in the technique or those who haven't used it for an extended amount of time would obviously be out of practice, causing those individuals to be considerably slower. This requires the use of more steps to move the same distance and become tired more easily in a shorter amount of time. A single step magnifies speed for that step by ten times. Shunpo uses fifty Reiatsu per step. This one is automatically learned in the academy. All Shinigami know this when created. This technique does not take up a technique slot.
How to use technique:
Focus of Reishi around the feet area and launch off into a single blurring step. It is not unlike teleportation in appearance, but it is simply extremely fast movement. It is often used to gain an edge in a single moment of combat or to dodge incoming attacks.
Technique Name: Advanced Air Ground
Class: 7
Technique Type: Spiritual Technique
Technique Description and Effects:
This is a technique designed especially for breakdancing and parkour, utilizing a more advanced version of air ground. While in a terrain where air ground exists, the user can create more complex surfaces like air walls, air ceilings, air ledges and even an air push. This allows the user to perform handstands and windmills on air as if it were normal ground or even stand upside-down on air as if gravity were reversed. The air push makes the air ground very elastic so that the user can jump higher. It allows for slight movement even when restrained by a Bakudō.
For a cost of twenty-five Reiatsu, the user will be able to momentarily cast an "air ground" on areas such as in Soul Society and Hueco Mundo, allowing the user to "double jump" or cast Shunpo in mid-air. If this technique is mastered, the user will be able to create air grounds that last for as long as a single post. This can be used in creative ways to improve acrobatics and visual impressiveness.
Drawback: No drawback.

Technique Name: Gõon Ran (Roaring Orchid)
Class: 5, 4, 2
Technique Type : Hohō
Usable By: Hohō-capable Races
Technique Element: Variant (Fire, Thunder/Sonic, Lightning)
Technique Description and Effects:
This Technique was developed by modifying standard Shunpo techniques at lower speeds, pushing the limit to how fast an individual could go whilst still managing to move their body. This technique requires absolute control of Shunpo.
At Class 5, this technique hardly tries to push any boundaries. It whittles down Shunpo to a simplistic basis. The user moves at 7x their Speed and orients their body to strike their opponent without physically damaging themselves. This technique costs 125 Reiatsu per use.
At Class 4, the individual initiates a boost of speed, bringing them up to 5x the base value. The user then funnels the technique up through their chest and into their arms, allowing them to strike mid-step with incredible force. The sheer momentum with which this strike is made increases the impact force of the hit by 25% of the user's base Speed. This additional force can be damaging if it surpasses the user's Strength. If the boost to impact damage is greater than the user's Strength, 50% of the difference will be inflicted on the user's limbs. This technique costs 175 Reiatsu per use.
At Class 2, the user doesn't just apply Shunpo to the feet before channeling it elsewhere, but actually sends the Reiatsu throughout their entire body at once. Rather than just a quick burst of speed, this ramps up the user's Speed by 2x on a continuous basis. For six posts, the user moves at such acceleration and force that the Reiatsu pulsing within their body escapes through the skin, creating friction with the air. Strangely, this has a varied effect based on the individual performing the technique. It costs 600 Reiatsu to use.
When learning the disciplines for this technique, you must choose a single type that corresponds to the discipline associated with it. Once chosen, this cannot be changed.
In Individuals with Fire type, their Reiatsu ignites violently, causing a surge of flames that surrounds their body and burns anything that comes within four meters of them. It allows them to unleash immolating attacks if trained properly.
For individuals with the Thunder type, their Reiatsu is shoved outward, compressing air around them before suddenly decompressing it. This results in massive, booming shockwaves that rush out from the user's body to a maximum of ten meters from the user.
In individuals with the Lightning type, their Reiatsu moves fluidly and creates a current that rapidly builds static charge, causing sudden movements. With proper training, torrential bolts of lightning can be unleashed around the user as they move.
The intensity of these attacks is so great and hard to control that simply learning this technique cannot be enough. As such, this level of technique serves as a gateway. Other techniques must be learned in order to control these attacks.
How to use technique:
The user forces Kidō through their body in a wave beginning at the feet, then pulsing it through the rest of their body once the step is initiated. This process is finely tuned by knowledge of either body (Hakuda) or the spirit (Kidō). The base technique is what allows the user to achieve the high speed while the disciplines allow the user to safely perform this move by adjusting the output and flood of Reiatsu since it causes harmful effects once it exits the body.
Technique Drawbacks:
Requires at least a 2 in Hohō and at least two points in Hakuda and/or Kidō as a means of controlling the power. Additionally, because of the control needed for these moves, they cost much more than normal Hohō. It requires at least 600 Speed to perform. Once this technique ends, the user suffers a severe stamina drain equal to 12 posts of continuous combat (double the posts used if the technique is ended early). It consumes a long-term Stat boost slot.
Lastly, in order to utilize the elemental effects of Class 2 safely, they have to be paired with corresponding disciplines tailored for each type. As such, Class 2 must be used in conjunction with these disciplines: Moeru Hanabira, Kokeiki no Hana, and Akarui Shogeki. Additionally, regardless of discipline, this technique perforates the skin as Reiatsu escapes it, causing considerable bleeding on the arms and legs.
Kenpachi and Fighter Types may learn this technique up to Class 4 but may not learn the Class 2 version.

Technique Name: Shunpo Eichi
Class: 4
Technique Type: Kidō
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects:
The "exploding Shunpo" technique. This allows the user, for a cost of 150 Reiatsu, to initiate a Shunpo. This Shunpo releases far more power, so anywhere within a meter of the user will be hit with an explosive shockwave equivalent to the user's physical Strength when the Shunpo is used.
How to use technique:
Stated above.
Drawback:
Stamina drain. Reiatsu cost. Can only be used twice per post.
Made by: [Admin]
Technique Name: Shinkirou (Mirage)
Class: 3
Technique Type: Hohō
Usable By: Shinigami, Beast-Clan
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects:
Shinkirou is an unusual technique because instead of going from A to B, the user goes from A to A. Essentially, it is referred to as something akin to a “double step” in which the user steps in any direction and back into the original position. Visually, this barely creates a flicker, hardly noticeable below 200 Senses. The whole technique lasts for no more than three seconds. Similar to Utsusemi, it provides an afterimage coupled with a movement ability that allows the user to evade an attack while providing the illusion that they are hit with it. However, this technique allows the user to return to the spot, creating an effect that makes viewers think that the attack passed through the user. When used properly, one can follow up immediately after an attack that “goes through them” and catch an opponent off-guard. The step speed for this technique is 15x for each step, and it can be used up to twice per post.
How to use technique:
Focus Reiatsu, then launch in any direction. Upon landing, launch back in the same manner, all within three seconds of movement.
Technique Drawbacks:
Cost. This technique also requires that the user has a 3 in Hohō or Hakuda and has 400 or higher Speed after Type. This is also a tiring technique, draining stamina faster than normal steps through extra movement.

Memorable Figures: Jack (Best Friend, deceased)
History:
The beginning
Ada's eyes cracked open as she awoke on the forest floor, confused with a jostled memory. How did she get here, where was she before? Nothing came to mind beyond her own name, Adalon Zenjira. She stood to her feet while inspecting herself, for any kind of injuries and as far as Ada could, she was fine aside from some being rather hungry. Ada's clothes were odd as well, looking like a casual old style kimono or something similar.
"What is going on here?.." Her voice was trembling slightly, a mix of confusion and shock. The only thing that was clear was that she knew nothing and she wasn't going to learn anyhting sticking around here so, Ada began to wonder around, exploring her surroundings and looking for anyone or anything that might serve as some kind of help. Hours passed in that forest and Ada realized something that seemed odd - she wasn't getting tired or exhausted at all. In fact, aside from her growing hunger she felt surprisingly good. Hell, she wasn't even breathing hard and Ada could tell just by looking at herself that she wasn't built like an athlete. It was weird. Before long however Ada stumbled onto a village. It was clearly poor and ran down based on the state of the houses and the people weren't dressed much better than herself, some even worse so. None the less, Ada needed some answers and this was the first place with other people she had found, so it was were she was going to go to go.
As Ada began to walk the streets, trying to talk to people she found very few receptive people. Most ignored her or even acted afraid, perhaps because she wasn't from around there. However, there was one soul who was more than happy to talk her. He was a guy who looked in his mid-twenties, just as poor as anyone else in the area but the way he carried himself was different: It was strong, hopeful. He was called Jack Himura and he noticed pretty fast how out of place Ada was looking, as well as how weak she looked from her hunger, so he invited Ada in and the two began to talk over a meal of rice - Simple but filling. It was here that Ada learned about the Soul Society, the reapers, the districts of Rukongi of which she was in South district 80. Needless to say it was a lot to take in, not to mention with Ada lacking memories of her former life she had no friends or family to look for, it was a lonely feeling and Ada wasn't sure what to do.
"Why don't you stay with me then? Seems you need someone and in return i promise to get us out of here, into a safer place." Jack spoke with a grin as he animated with his hands, making his proposal seem even more grandious than they were. Ada blinked in confusion before she responded.
"Are you sure?..We just met and you don't know anything about me..why would you help?"
"Well, why wouldn't? People in Soul Society adopt people as family members all the time. It's gigantic, to find a real family member is very unlikely. Besides." Jack said as he narrowed his eyes, looking at her as if reading the inner workings of her soul. "I got a feeling sticking around you could be fun. We both have some spiritual power, maybe we can make a living with it."

Jack said as he narrowed his eyes, looking at her as if reading the inner workings of her soul. "I got a feeling sticking around you could be fun. We both have some spiritual power, maybe we can make a living with it."
Ada thought about it for a moment and it seemed to make sense. She didn't know anyone nor did she know much in general; Furthermore Jack seemed nice enough and had already helped her more than anyone else has. Besides, Ada found she couldn't help but trust the man. Something about him just clicked with her. So she smiled and nodded and that was the start to everything. Ada and Jack quickly became bestfriends and reffered to each other as if siblings. Jack as it turns out worked as a bodyguard in the area - didn't matter who what or why, if it paid in ryo he was more than happy to do the job and from what Ada could tell, he was very strong. The village she found her self in while very poor was surprisingly crime free and from what she could tell, this was part of Jack's doing. The more she learned about him the more she came to respect Jack. As for Ada, she contributed by learning how to hunt. Animals were rather rare in the forest nearby but not impossible to find and Ada showed a surprising natural talent for it.
She would hunt enough food for her and Jack, take the hides and make items or sale them as is to the villagers in return for money, services or goods. It was a simple and relatively happy lifestyle. The villagers even opened up and welcomed Ada once they saw Jack was approving of her and within a years time she had made many friends. The poverty didn't really matter, everyone was in the same boat after all and things seemed to be going well. Unfortunately though nothing last forever and soon Jack would have to make good on his promise to Ada and it would come with a cost. [/ul]
Rags to Shihakusho
After a few years between the work of Jack and Ada's hunting, they had managed to save up enough to justify moving out into a better village, moving up in the world a little bit. On the day of their departure the entire village gathered together to see them off, happy to see them moving onto better things. In the end, despite the cold reception Ada was met with, these people were actually very kind, just afraid of bandits and fallen on hard times. She thanked them for accepting and taking care of her and promised to visit again, Jack as well. The move went well and the pair settled on the 45th district. It was poor still but far better off both in environment and opportunity. For the next ten years Ada and Jack lived life similarly to how they had previously but in a much more comfortable way without the worry of going hungry or as much worry about being attacked. Food was also much easier to come across, as well as work with Ada no longer being forced to hunt - she helped around the village and learned many small menial task. Jack kept to his bodyguard work, often taking him outside of the village as an escort although he also helped farmers and such with the hard labor and his strongman reputation began to spread quickly here as well.
But not all was normal as Ada was noticing some oddities in herself. She was becoming stronger, faster. She would accidently break things, her speed when running would be so much more than sher was used to, she'd face plant often and give off the guise of being clumsy. Jack of course was very interested, noting that her spirtual power was growing at a surprising rate and that is just with her living a normal life. He wanted to push her to train so she could come to work with him on the road, she had a lot of potential and the extra sword arm would be welcomed. But, Ada turned him down. Talent or no she had no interest in a life of violence and bloody toil, even if it was for a good cause. She just wanted to keep things how they were, maybe find someone to settle down with. This caused jack to smile and laugh a bit, insisting he was only joking - but deep down he knew he wasn't. In fact he was a little jealous of such wasted potential, he had to work extremely hard to get his power to the level it was at. But nothing he could do about it. The rest of the time passed peacefully until at the end of that ten year span, a wounded elderly man in rags dragged himself into the village, asking anyone who'd listen for Jack's location.
He was directed to the house Ada and Jack lived at. Arriving he was overjoyed to find Ada. The old man was one the residents of district 80 - he had come all the way after all this time to ask Jack for help. With Jack gone bandits moved in and had turned the village into a dreadful place to live. Gambling, extortian, whatever you could imagine.
"Please, Ada. You have to convince Jack to help..I've brought everything I have but please, our families, your family.." The older man wheezed out as he held out what little Ryo he had in shaking hands. Ada, listening to all this was quickly overcome with emotions she had never felt before. Rage, anger, fury. Her hands gripped so tight her nails dug into her palm. Such kind people, who asked for nothing and did nothing but try to support their own meager lives and those they accepted, abused and used in such a way and for what? Meager profit? Fun? Ada was so angry and overcome with the intoxicating emotion she was no longer thinking clearly. Worse yet Jack wasn't even around he was out on a job. Ada got to her feet and started walking outside. Stopping for a moment she smiled down as warmly as she could to the desperate man.
"Jack is on a job, but he should be back soon. Tell him what you've told me. I'll be going on ahead." As Ada spoke those last words, her aura started flowing visible for the first time, lashing out in response to her anger and striking a small explosive strip across her house's wall. Ada didn't even notice and began running at full speed towards her old village. All she could see was red. She had never been so angry before, it was unnatural almost. Something inside of her was triggered and it was pushing her forward. In what seemed like no time at all Ada was already half way to the village and it shocked her. Ada didn't realize just how fast she had gotten, also how much stamina she possessed, she didn't feel tired at all. She couldn't help but crack a small grin at this, it was almost intoxicating and she didn't even know why. Was this how Jack felt on his job, she wondered.
When she arrived at the village what she saw only served to fuel whatever it was inside her. People she once knew, dead in the streets. Strangers with weapons playing games in the streets, drinking and walking over the corpses. It looked recent too..was it because that old man had escaped? Was there anyone alive? Ada's teeth were grinding as she walked towards the center of the village. Thoughts of safety or a clear plan, nothing of that nature was in her head. She only knew one thing. These scum, all of them needed..
A sharp whistle broke Ada's thoughts as two of thse bandits crossed in front of Ada, placing a hand on her shoulder, checking her out "Well now.." Spoke the first one as he ran his hand down her shoulder. "What do we have here?..What your wearing is pretty nice, at least for this area.." He removed his hand from ada's shoulder, stroking his chin as he thought, his gathering men snickering silently in the background. Seemed this guy was popular among them, the leader perhaps? Hard to tell. They all looked the same to Ada.
"Well, not that it matters. Wrong turn, suicidal or just plain stupid it's all the same to me." He spoke as he began to walk around Ada like a shark, dragging the tip of his sword along the ground. Ada just let him talk for now. She wasn't hearing much, just that every word out of his mouth was pissing her off even more. "First, we'll take your money. Then, we'll take your items and maybe..a little bit more." He chuckled as he spoke in his raspy tone "And then we'll kill you. If you're lucky."
"..iends.."
