Physical Description:
Myoban appears as a middle aged Japanese man of average height. He has a lean/ripped physique that alludes to grueling conditioning and training. Myoban has long spiky silver hair accompanied with black streaks running through the strands. His hair length reaches to his lower back and is completely combed back. Looking at his face, Myoban is considered to be handsome by the mature woman of the Soul Society. He has sharp, storm gray eyes that shine in the light; these storm grey orbs reflect all that enters its view. Under his eyes, he has unnoticeable bags. Myoban's eyebrows compliment his sharpened, soul piercing eyes. His eyebrows are black, thin, narrow and straight. His brow rests over his eyes, relaxed, showing no signs of stress or anger. His forehead is mostly covered by spiky bangs of hair, reaching to his eyebrows. Under these bangs, his forehead is revealed; having middle aged stretch marks. Myoban's cheek bones are narrow and do not protrude. His face from his cheek bones to chin is thin. Myoban's jawline is strong and defined. His chin is also a prominent feature of his face, consistent with his jawline (In a complimentary way). Myoban's nose is slim and narrow. There is a scar located on the bridge of his nose, signifying that it had been broken once before. There is a scar located on Myoban's left eyebrow, which reaches to his upper left cheek. Around Myoban's eye creases there signs of age due to stretch marks. Myoban's facial expression is normally relaxed, slighty amused. He rarely ever shows anger nor complete seriousness, even when agitated.
Myoban's stance and posture can be characterized as tall and proud. He rarely ever slouches or hunches over. Myoban's physique is lean and athletic; Through training, Myoban has exercised each muscle to peak human condition. Myoban has a imposing presence to those who would stand before him. His broad shoulders are mostly responsible for his imposing presence. Myoban arms reach down to his mid thigh as he has a wide wing span for his height, measuring at 6'5. His frame is relatively large due to his broad shoulders. Myoban does have multiple scars located on his torso; the most noticeable one being on his chest. On his left Pectorialis Major, the Shinigami has a large, jagged scar embezzled into his chest. This scar reaches from his upper left chest to the middle of his upper abdomen. Myoban has smaller scars located on his upper and lower abdomen as well, showcasing his many battles. Myoban is missing his left pinky and sports a large scar on his right forearm; this scar reaches up to his upper bicep. Myoban also has a tattoo located above his Rectus Sheathe. The tattoo is a black circle with black wings protruding from the edge of the circle. The wings stretches to edges of Myoban's stomach.
Regarding Myoban's choice of Shinigami clothing, he wears a larger Shihakushō than the average Shinigami. Myoban's Shihakushō is larger than his height's recommended size. The ends of his robes tend to drag behind the Shinigami, garnishing disapproval among many in the Seireitei. The sleeves to his Shihakushō completely cover his arms, hiding them from the public. Myoban's Shihakushō has rips and tears, along with other damages such as burn marks. The status of his Shihakushō brings a sense of disrespect to those who hold these garments in high regard The ends of his robes are tattered and worn with many holes being present in the fabrics; this shows the garment's battle history. The Shitagi along with the Shihakushō is loosened to allow Myoban's chest and upper abdomen to be shown. Myoban typically allows for his left arm to rest in his robes (similarly to Itachi Uchiha). Myoban allows for his captain's haori rest over his shoulders, letting the wind to blow the garment behind him. His haori is pristine and undamaged, showcasing Myoban's deep respect for the Gotei 13. The Shinigami wears heavy, gold chains around his collar to keep his haori from flying with the wind. These chains reach down to his lower back and sway when the wind blows. He also wears multiple gold bracelets letting them stack atop of each other. Myoban also has bandages cover his right hand. These bandages extend to his upper forearm. Myoban's appearance is very distinct amongst his peers within the Seireitei, which he often gets made fun of for.
Dislikes:
1.Hollows (All Variants) - Evident by his goals, Myoban despises the race of Hollows and every thing associated with them. His fellow Shinigami often theorize on his heavy disdain for the monstrous creatures. Many have concluded that his hatred for Hollows came from his faded past; a past only remembered by Myoban. Upon coming across one of these vile creatures, Myoban will not hesitate to destroy it's existence. He shows no mercy or pity for these horrid creatures. When killing Hollows, Myoban's innate anger is expressed through savage like aggression. The mere mention of Hollows is enough to wipe Myoban's relaxed expression off his face.
2.Hueco Mundo - Hueco Mundo is a location Myoban wishes he could wipe off the face of reality. His horrid connection to the realm is responsible for the apparent disdain and current opinion. Hueco Mundo is a location that Myoban regards as worse than hell. There is no happiness, no peace the Captain finds when thinking of the desolate sands. To the Captain, Hueco Mundo is synonymous with the concept of Hollows and Arrancar. He wishes to destroy the idea of Hollows and considers Hueco Mundo to be the main beacon of their existence. With every chance Myoban gets ahold of, he denounces the lonely realm in all of it's entirety
3.Disrespect Towards the Dead - To Myoban, disrespecting those who have passed on is a cowardly act. He views the act as "easy" or not so hard to do when the person is not here to defend themselves. He believes that only the weak willed, and those who have no honor are able to talk down on the dead. Even if the soul who passed was a horrible person, a person who had committed heinous acts; Myoban would disapprove of anyone disrespecting their passing. When killing someone, Myoban does not smile nor smirk. He gives the person who has passed respect. Respect for laying down their life for a ideal or belief that they cared for. Even those who have chosen to throw away their lives, Myoban would not dare mock them or ridicule their actions. The Captain believes that those who have felt the cold embrace of death deserve certain peace.
4.Hard Work - Myoban dreads the idea of hardwork. Being a laid back person, Myoban views certain types of hard work as exerting yourself for no reason. He believes that over-achievers and people who push themselves beyond reasonable limits only want a pat on the back. The only hard work Myoban enjoys is condition and training. Going above and beyond is something the Captain views as tedious and as a result, he settles for the bare minimum. Hard work with clear purpose and legit goal is the type of work Myoban respects. Other than that, you won't find the Captain staying up all night writing his reports.
5.The Concept of Sadness - Sadness is an emotion which no one enjoys. Myoban has felt the cords of depression. The Captain hates the extreme levels of effect sadness can have over a person. He feels as if life becomes unenjoyable should someone fall into the grasp of sadness. Sadness can led to many things; Bleak outlooks, self hatred, anguish, self loathing etc. These emotions are seen as handicaps to Myoban. He feels as if Sadness can deter someone from accomplishing their goals or moving with their lives. When coming across someone who is displaying genuine sadness, The Captain will say something, encouraging the victim to find resolve (nothing more to stay consistent with his Apathetic nature). Kagishōten is a very sad spirit, as this is the source of her and Myoban's crumbling relationship. Myoban struggles to find the source of her sadness which translates to his inability and unwillingness to understand the emotion. This emotion is deeply connected to the casual Captain.
6.Any form of Drama - Myoban heavily disapproves of drama. Especially amongst his ranks, the Captain sees drama as a unnecessary act which could hinder the progress of camaraderie. Myoban believes that friends shouldn't allow things to alter their relationship. Aside from his more serious outlooks, Myoban views drama as a gateway to unwanted confrontation. These forms of confrontation can lead to heavy tension and uneasiness which go against his casual, laid back personality and outlook. To Myoban, those who find joy or entertainment in drama and tension are lowly scum, undeserving of his easy going respect. When involved in drama, the Captain will often choose to confront the problem first hand; taking the unnecessary portions of drama away and allowing for reconciliation.
7.Loud Surroundings - Because of Myoban's serene persona, he hates things that go against being just that: Laid Back and Easygoing. Being in loud places irritates the Shinigami's soul. He does not like loudness which drowns out his own thoughts or the peaceful sounds of birds chirping. Because of this, Myoban is never seen in crowded market places or halls. If Myoban finds himself in a crowded surrounding that is chaotic, his easy going, amused demeanor will change into one that is easily irritable. Those who find solace in these environments alienate the Shinigami and will often find themselves ridiculed and verbally attacked by the serene Captain.
8.Mid-Day/Noon - Although Noon isn't exactly a hate for Myoban, it certainly is not a favored portion of the day. For Myoban, the mid day can be a bit dull when taking a look at the skies. He'd much rather prefer watching the sun set or rise in the early mornings and nights. It is usually noon when every one is awake, so this of course would compel Myoban to have a certain dislike towards it. It is also during this time where most Captains would tend to their individual paper work and reports. This goes against what Myoban may consider as a good way to spend his time. With work being almost synonymous with noon, it is quite clear on why the lazy Captain tends to dread the time of noon.
9.Rain - Rain is something that gives the Captain a melancholic feeling. Myoban hates to be reminded of sadness or anything that could be related to it. Rain can give that emotion to a person rather easily. The gloomy feeling that arises from rain is something Myoban just doesn't enjoy. When it rains, Myoban finds it most appropriate to take a nap, letting the constant drops of water guide him to deep slumber. This allows for the Captain to bypass the unfortunate weather and awaken to a more favorable forecast.
10.Rivalries - Rivalries is something Myoban considers as a complete waste of time. The Shinigami's thoughts on rivalries are rather straightforward; Rivalries lead to a unnecessary amount of effort and thought. To Myoban the time used for rivalries could be spent taking a nap or doing things beneficial to one's leisure. Even intense training would be preferable over wasting time cultivating a rivalry. For further opinion, Myoban often categorizes rivalries with that of drama. To him these type of relationships are energy taxing, they require both parties to always hold a form of resentment for each other. With Myoban's easy going nature, the notion of rivalries is one that the Shinigami doesn't give too much though to. If a warrior feels as if the Captain is their "Rival", Myoban would simply treat them as a constant challenger rather that of a rival. No thoughts of being better than the said warrior would drift through Myoban's mind.
11.Candy - This dislike is just a simple preference. The taste of candy does not sit well on the Captain's taste buds, therefore he tends to stay away from it. Myoban does not like the sugary taste of sweets; the Shinigami even threw up the first time he tried a sucker.
12.Obnoxious People/Things - Similarly to his irritation towards loud places, Myoban HATES obnoxious people or things. If present with a "class clown" or a person of comic relief, Myoban will keep to himself. He has no interest in communicating with a person who doesn't have the common decency to keep a respectful tone. If he is forced to work with someone who is obnoxious, Myoban will try to instill discipline with his Captain rank. If that method is completely ineffective, Myoban will try to advance through their task without working with said person.
Likes:
1.The Ideology of Soul Reapers - Myoban takes great pride in being a Soul Reaper. Especially being a Captain, Myoban takes certain pride in enforcing the ideals and values of the Gotei 13. To Myoban, the existence of Shinigami is pivotal to keeping order over all the realms. When referring to the Gotei 13, Myoban speaks in the utmost respect, making sure to detail the prestige of the Gotei 13. Myoban typically respects Shinigami who take pride in the Gotei 13. Those who would disrespect the Gotei 13 or any honorable Shinigami will receive no form of regard from the Captain.
2.The Concept of Innocence - Innocence is something Myoban is very fond of. He values Innocence and sees it as a extension of purity. This stems from Myoban's son who passed away eons ago. When interacting with a someone of innocence, Myoban carefully engages with them, choosing not to disrupt their purity. This is a trait Myoban carefully chooses to mind unlike other emotions or traits most display. Because of his affinity for the trait, the Captain is typically a great baby sitter for children. He interacts with children appropriately, being able to understand their actions and wants. Myoban has admiration for those who haven't discovered the horrors of life. The darkness of life is something Myoban hopes most can avoid.
3.Religion - The Captain has strong opinions about faith and the concept of religion. Religion has clear purpose in Myoban's eyes; it organizes the masses into order and gives people purpose and guidance. Myoban reveres those who establishes religion within their lives. Myoban gives high regard to those who are able to lay themselves before a faith. To the Captain, those who are able to truly accomplish this are to be admired to the fullest. Recognizing the hopeful determination needed for complete devotion, Myoban dares not to disregard the faithful's devotion. In his life, Myoban was in fact a devote to the Taoism religion which causes a sense of nostalgia whenever the Captain finds a follower of said religion.
4.Sunrises and Sunsets - Similar to his dislike towards noon, Myoban favors sunrises and sunsets. He loves staring at the morning skies as well as the evening rays. Myoban gains a sense of peace whenever he sees these phenomenon, being reminded of his late wife. For Myoban, the sunrise gives preparation for the day and the sunset gives allowance towards rest. They both commonly share the feeling peace for whoever gaze upon them. The Captain prefers to witness the natural phenomenon in the real world. Although he deeply cherishes the Soul Society, Myoban finds the setting of the real world more suitable for observing this occurrence. The Shinigami especially enjoys witnessing sunrises and sunsets with those who are closet to him.
5.Taking Naps - Myoban loves taking naps. He often gets reprimanded for taking naps instead doing productive work; his unseated officers often have to take the slack as a result of his laziness. Besides training and conditioning, Myoban loves naps more than anything else. His laziness often commands naps (at random). Myoban is a clear advocate for naps, he frequently recommends them to those who are stressed or are angry (most of the time with him). Myoban proudly proclaims that naps and sleeping have helped him lead a carefree, happy life without a worry in the world. You should expect Myoban be napping:
-After his morning training sessions
-Exactly at noon
-After any mandatory meetings
-Exactly after one report (Half finished of course)
-Any physical taxing activities
6.Heated Battles - Despite his lazy nature, Myoban is a enthusiast for battles and fights. The Captain finds that battles are the only true way to understand yourself and your opponent. Unlike most warriors who would prefer to outclass their opponents, Myoban loves to fight warriors at or higher than his skill level. This allows for Myoban to go all out in a blaze of glory with death looming over him. He describes the sensation as addictive. His love for battle is the only reason Myoban does not mind putting hard work in his training and conditioning. The Captain does not cower away from hard battles or powerful opponents. He instead welcomes the challenge of stronger opponents; commonly being one of the Captains who take the harder assignments.
7.Conditioning/Training - Due to his love for battle, Myoban recognizes that he needs to undergo fierce training in order to partake in his beloved battles. To his subjects, Myoban only allocates his remaining capacity for labor towards training. Unlike other hobbies and various forms of work, Myoban excels at any form of training. As long as a concept is in the form of training (repetition) Myoban can quickly grasp it and reconstitute it for his own purposes. When conditioning, there are few who are able to undergo his exercises in one go. Myoban almost always trains by himself for his own convenience. When completely bored, Myoban will often choose to complete more training if he does not desire a nap.
8.Comedies - The Captain is very fond of a good laugh. As a laid back person, Myoban typically enjoys a good structured joke. This also agrees with his easy going nature as the Captain can handle even the most harsh jokes. Myoban generally likes the action of laughing, hence his habit of chuckling. Even in the most intense situations, Myoban will stop to find some amusing joke to enjoy. Myoban dislikes class clowns or people who make jokes merely for attention. However, the Captain has no problem with genuine funny people and frankly enjoys their company more than stoic figures. Myoban typically enjoys comedies, funny books, funny shows and any content which will give the Captain a good laugh.
9.Arrogant Warriors - Arrogance is a trait Myoban doesn't think much of (nor cares for). However, warriors who display clear arrogance excite the Captain. The mere idea of getting a tough battle out of said warriors gives the Captain anticipation. Myoban knows that arrogant fighters will never back down from challenges and if pushed, will not give up easily. The Shinigami expects only the best from arrogant warriors and will try his best to discourage them from acting arrogant. It is almost a personal challenge for Myoban to beat the arrogance out of a warrior should they present that trait.
10.Swimming - A simple like and hobby. Myoban loves to swim whenever the opportunity presents itself (often rare). He likes to go swimming with a group, if possible, in order to get the best experience. Myoban will often try to have races when swimming with comrades and friends.
12.Chocolate - Myoban likes Chocolate. That's all you need to know...
Flaws:
1.Laziness - Myoban is a VERY lazy person. This is often a drawback which can hinder his progress in other skills not related to battle. Luckily his laziness has not reached his ambition for power and battles but it does translate to some aspects of it. In battle, Myoban won't analyze his opponents past the basic observations. He does not like to go above and beyond for anything except for training. Some in the Seireitei will argue that he is undeserving of his Captain rank due to his laziness. Most of his criticizers argue that his laziness often sets the tone for his squad and rubs off on his admirers. Myoban has not yet addressed these claims. The Captain often finds himself pinning the "boring" portions of his duties onto his subordinates. Unless absolutely mandatory, the Captain will always find a way to avoid the tedious, time consuming duties assigned to him.
2.Stubbornness - Myoban is a relatively stubborn person. He'd rather do things his way and doesn't really look towards other's views on his preconceived opinions or thoughts. Myoban can be quite difficult when arguing with someone about a topic that is very important to him. Even with smaller topics, the Captain will often stick with his opinions regardless of any other fact or outlook. This can cause a lack of open-mindedness to a certain degree. However, Myoban overall is not a difficult person. He allows people to voice their thoughts and opinions on anything they choose. But trying to sway his opinion is difficult, even more so if its about something that is quite meaningful to the Captain. Whenever Myoban declares an action, there is no use in convincing the Shinigami otherwise. Once Myoban declares a goal, he will most certainly pursue that goal until he dies. There is no one who could try to deter him from his declarations.
3.Lack of Self Preservation - Myoban does care for his life as others do. Not to confuse this with suicide, Myoban will lay his life down for things that he considers important. When the Captain fights, he does not think about his survival. He goes into his battles with the idea of possible demise, even when sparring. Myoban does not fear his eventual death. In fact, he is aware that he will perish someday, to someone's blade. Until that moment, the Captain does not worry himself with the idea of death. This inherent lack of self preservation causes Myoban to take more risks than even the most daring. In the Captain's own words: "We all have to die at some point."
4.Apathetic to other's Emotions - Myoban is not one to worry about other's emotions. He is inept when it comes to interpreting other's feelings or emotions unless they outright explain themselves. It is because of this, the Captain has a hard time fully understanding his Zanpaktou. Most people may perceive the Shinigami as a cold, disinterested person because of this but that is not the case. Myoban has always been horrible at considering other's emotions. It is more of a personality weakness than a thought he just ignores. To constantly think about his actions or the effects of his words would go against his laid-back, unconcerned nature. Myoban does not like to insult people or act like a jerk to others however, you wont find the Captain second guessing how others may feel. At some points he simply doesn't care.
5.Inconsiderate of Tradition - This is obvious due to the fact that the Captain continuously wears a battle worn, oversized Shihakushō without shame. Myoban is not one for traditions, he even ignores them sometimes. There are only certain traditions Myoban a will value which are mostly important to the Soul Society. This can cause a rift between him and others when it comes to ideals and opinions. Myoban is of course respectful of other's values. The Captain often finds himself being ridiculed for disregarding sacred traditions.
6.Fails to look past his own Ideologies - This goes along with the Shinigami's stubbornness. When he believes something or a values a certain ideal, it is nearly impossible to sway his opinion and view points. This causes a certain narrowmindedness when it comes to expanding his knowledge on a lot of topics. For example, Myoban agrees with every rule the Soul Society has implemented throughout it's history. There are rules which can be argued as extreme; Myoban would not question it nor even consider an opposing position. Many could argue that his blindness within his beliefs would make him somewhat of a sheep. Those who may think that wouldn't exactly be wrong, but for those who may believe Myoban is ignorant is false.
7.Lack of Seriousness in Most Dire Situations - The Captain knows the magnitude of danger. However, even the fact of danger cannot change the Shinigami's laid back, easy going nature. When in a dire situation, the Captain may try to shed a little light on his predicament. He doesn't like to come off as a stoic geezer so why would that change in the heat of battle? Myoban likes to enjoy his life regardless of the situations he is put in. He prefers to keep a relaxed, light hearted attitude, especially in darker situations. There are only few circumstances where Myoban completely abandons his easy going nature and reveals a darker, heavier persona.
8.Keeps his Inner Thoughts Hidden - Myoban is a person who doesn't like to reveal his thoughts to others. He is a man who keeps many secrets and appears to many as a relaxed man who doesn't have too many troubles. Contrary to his peer's opinions, the Captain is a man who holds dark memories and thoughts. He has seen events which would break even the strongest of minds. Myoban is a man who retains certain detail regardless of how dumb you may think he is. Myoban never lets his thoughts been known, no matter how much pain, confliction and strife he is undergoing.
Habits:
1.Chuckles when Amused - This is something the Captain does quite often; many will hear the Captain's light chuckles before they even see him. These small chuckles are triumphant ones, usually proud in sound. "HaHa" is the typical chuckle many will hear from the Captain. When the Shinigami is surprised or caught off guard, he will chuckle even louder, resembling a short laugh. Many may find this irritating or charming... It really depends on your opinion of the Captain.
2.Grins When Intrigued - When Myoban is greatly intrigued (by a display of power or person) he will flaunt a proud grin. These grins are the large grins children typically exhibit when opening their presents on Christmas morning. Myoban LOVES to show these great smiles, so he does not hesitant to show them once intrigued or astonished. Many can related this to a small child filled with excitement and unlimited amounts of happiness.
3.Playing with his Fingers - Myoban often plays with his fingers when he is in deep conversation. He'll crack his finger, twirl them around each other (on one hand) or simply flick them around. Myoban does this in a subtle and quiet way so it is extremely rare for someone to gain irritation from this habit.
4.Rests hand on Zanpaktou when Walking - It is very likely to see Myoban strolling the alleyways of the Seireitei. Those who come across the Captain can see his signature proud and triumphant march. Whenever he is walking somewhere, Myoban almost always rests his left hand on the hilt of his sheathed Zanpaktou. The Captain has made this "look" very iconic within the Soul Society and it is not unlikely to see some of his admirers do the same thing when they walk with their weapons. Even when viewing him walking from a long distance, you can see his distinct walk and habit before making his figure out.
5.Taps on things when Bored/Waiting - Whenever the Shinigami must wait, he will end up tapping on something. Whether it is the ground or his side, the Captain will find somewhere to showcase this habit. When Myoban is extremely bored he'll make a rhythmic tapping pattern on a desk or table.
6.Writes 'Myoban' when writing his Name - This is a wonder everyone has of the Captain. Why does he insist on being referred by solely his last name? Even to his equals, Myoban insists that they call him by his last name. The Captain even orders all new subordinates to drop the Captain title and refer to him as Myoban. When writing his reports (rarely), Myoban only writes his last name and disregards his first name. Even the Captain title is dropped in his official reports. Whenever he has his subordinates write his papers, the Head Commanding Captain instantly knows if the subordinate included Myoban's first name. The Captain has yet to reveal why he prefers to be known only by his last name.
7.Meditating Mid Battle - This habit is not a random one. Myoban is required to meditate in order to interact with Kagishōten so that he may request his Shikai's true power (If needed). So at stalemated moments within a battle, Myoban will not rush to accelerate it's pace. He will often seize chances to cease battle in order to ready his Shikai's maximum power. Once his request for his Shikai is granted, this habit is eliminated.
8.Getting too Drunk when Drinking - Myoban stays away from alcohol for the most part. On the off chance that he does drink, Myoban does not know how to STOP. This is the main reason why he has chosen to stay away from intoxicants. At parties that encourage the intake of alcohol, Myoban is usually the person who is drinking up ALL of the liquor. It gets so bad that most of his subordinates and officers have to restrain him. They have to calm him down in order for him to regain control over his massive reiryoku.
9."I Declare" - Whenever Myoban deciedes he will do something, he adds "I declare" before announcing his decision. This can be for anything. "I Declare that I shall speak with him." is a example of this inescapable habit. Myoban usually begins this phrase as proudly as he can, adding his charming grin as well.
Fears:
1.Becoming a Hollow - This is arguably Myoban's GREATEST fear. Subjugation to the eternal flames of hell does not faze the Captain as much this fear. Death cannot make the Shinigami tremble like this fear can. Myoban has a hatred so deep for the race of hollows, he couldn't fathom the possibility of him becoming his hatred. The idea of vizards terrifies the Captain more anything. The actual warrior, no but the mere capability of Shinigami becoming related is disturbing to Myoban. Myoban will everything in his power to prevent himself from becoming a hollow. He will never see the image of himself as a hollow nor a vizard. This a fear that deeply disturbs Myoban more than anything else.
2.Not completing his Goals - Myoban fears this as much as the next ambitous man. This is the reason Myoban has gotten to the rank he is, despite his inherent laziness. Myoban does ponder on what he'll do if he could no longer pursue his goals. Myoban sit his goals when he inevitably died, to completely perish or reincarnates before he is able to accomplish his goal will bring a great sense of failure for the Shinigami. Myoban will do anything possible to complete his goal so long as the methods do not go against his beliefs and values. If fate decides that Myoban will not to see his goals through, Myoban can only hope that someone else will gain similar ambitions...
3.Total Anarchy - Myoban is a advocate for peace and order. To him, wars are only necessary if certain peace is the absolute result. Myoban loves battles, skirmishes and physical altercations. However, the Captain does not enjoy meaningless chaos. Disturbances such as anarchy are considered blasphemy in the face of peace and serenity. For pure anarchy to ensue, the result would be lose of unnecessary life and order. The Captain would certainly dread any event which would result in total anarchy, especially in the Soul Society.
4.The Destruction of the Soul Society - This would cause a great deal of sadness as the Captain holds the Soul Society in the utmost respect. The Soul Society is the Captain's home, it has welcomed him when he passed away. Myoban has gained quite the fondness for the souls in the Soul Society and every other Shinigami who is faithful to the afterlife. The thought of the Soul Society's eradication is impossible in the Captain's eyes. The possibility rarely crosses the Myoban's mind however, when he does think of the possibility he is incredibly saddened.
5.Incompetent People in Positions of Power - Myoban only fears this because of the importance of positional power. For insance, within the Soul Society, only the most astute of Shinigami should govern the sqauds of the Gotei 13. Only the wisest should be inducted in the Central 46. This is only what the masses can hope for; unfortunately these hopes aren't fulfilled. Myoban can only hope that those who are capable end up in positions of power. Incompetence is a grave concern when assessing incapable leaders.
6.Lack of Resolve - This is a simple fear. Myoban is a decisive person and usually has no problem making a hard choices. Myoban is not easily shaken when it comes to his beliefs and thoughts. When he declares something he proceeds to follow though with that declaration. When presented with a situation that shakes his resolve, Myoban can only sit in fear and disbelief. To bring someone whose resolve is invincible to their knees is unfathomable. Myoban wouldn't be able to comprehend such a thing.
7.His Eventual Disconnection with Kagishōten - This is fear that ever so remains in the back of his head. A Shinigami's zanpaktou is a extension of their soul, Myoban is losing his connection with that extension. His continuous inability to understand Kagishōten's emotions and thoughts hinder his once strong connection with the spirit. The two find themselves alienated more and more as they meet. Myoban has ceased contact with the spirit unless requesting access for his Shikai. A eroding relationship will eventually turn to dust and the Captain can only sit and wait for the day where he can longer hear Kagishōten's voice.
8.Not being able to Avenge Miyatsugi - Miyatsugi… His late wife... devoured by a conglomeration of hollows. Myoban only feels deep rage whenever he thinks of his inability to prevent the events of that faithful day. The faithful day which took his wife and son away from him and casted him to the after-life. Myoban will reek devastation upon any hollow that is unfortunate to cross paths with him for the vengeance of his wife. Not destroying the concept of hollows will result in his inability to avenge Miyabiyaka and his lost son.
Goals:
1. Become the Head Commanding Captain - Myoban has GREAT respect for the "Strong Man" so taking the position from him would not be in his plans. Myoban does intend on taking the position one day despite what many may think of his lazy nature. To Myoban, his power has unlimited potential and he believes that he could be a formidable Commander. Achieving this position would give Myoban further insight on his personal progress, therefore signifying that he is strong enough to overtake the Espada. He would also use his position to convince the Gotei 13 and Central 46 that Hueco Mundo is a hinderence; allowing for a closer step in permanently eliminating the threat of hollows.
2. Destroy Hueco Mundo - Destroying the realm of Hueco Mundo could either cause total chaos and imbalance or solve the looming threat of hollows. Myoban's theory is indeed bias towards the possibility that the destruction of Hueco Mundo would bring peace. Every hollow takes refuge in the cursed realm; arguably the progenitor for the wretched beasts. The Captain fueled by his hatred and rage for hollows will do anything to decimate that realm. He will go to any lengths to assure that he has the authority to declare such a event.
3. To Eradicate the entire race of Hollows - This is his ultimate goal, his life mission. The Captain wants to exterminate these pests, these monsters whose only impulse is to devour. These things are travesties only deserving of pain and suffering. Myoban has only the darkest thoughts for these disgusting creatures. Especially the ones who would imitate human form. After taking his former life away from him, Myoban has decided that the race will answer for it's countless sins.
4. Possibly obtain the Hogkyoku - Myoban soon came to realization that there will be souls that have inevitable regrets. Whether they feel unnacomplished prior to death or simply refuse to pass on. Myoban realizes that he may need a force that transcends even the existence of the Soul King. This is a great debate for Myoban however, if the opportunity presents itself, Myoban will definitely seize the object for his goal. Authorizing the use of this phenomenon is different matter...
Alignment: [Neutral Good]
Overall Personality:
The main personality traits Myoban exhibits is serenity and a relaxed nature. Myoban is very easy going, never stressing over little things (or even big things) and chooses to go about life in a slower pace. The Captain shows easiness and comfortability to people even during moments of tension or awkwardness. His character displays certain proudness and triumph. He holds his head up at all times, never allowing for glances of defeat or anguish to show. To others, Myoban can either give off a definite charm or annoyance; the Shinigami's personality is a hit or miss for most. Furthermore, Myoban typically prefers calmness over obnoxiousness. He enjoys calm activities and things that aren't too loud. Myoban is a somewhat of a social butterfly (albeit a laid-back one), he doesn't mind talking to people so long as the experience is not loath some. Myoban typically gives off "chill" vibes and is often seen as a great person who stays out of the way. Myoban loves being around those who knows how to have a joyous time. Having fun while keeping class is very exciting for him. It allows for him to enjoy his time without stepping out of his relaxed character. Myoban is also a very stubborn person, his opinions almost never change despite facts that may prove otherwise. His beliefs are never broken no matter how much someone may try to argue; it is futile to try. Myoban also dislikes heavy arguing and sees it as a waste of time. His casual persona prevents him from getting riled up enough to argue points or bicker with others. As stated before, Myoban is mostly apathetic to other's emotions. He is prone to missing emotional hints and the overall mood of a person. This fact allows for his proudness to always be present no matter the mood or situation. While being handicapped to interpreting other's emotions, Myoban is far from a blatant dumbass. He can read the overall tone of situations and perceive others pain so long as it's apparent and not hidden.
Due to his laid back personality, Myoban is definitely not one for drama or tension between himself and others. If there is a problem, he will try to his best to deal with the problem first hand. If a solution cannot be met, he will simply keep his distance.
Another key aspect of Myoban's personality is his apparent laziness. He is a very lazy person, opting to only strive for the bare minimum. The Captain is perceived as lazy by all who becomes an acquaintance of his. Myoban will do anything to get out of tedious, unimportant work. Going as far as pinning work onto his own subordinates would not be surprising, Myoban would stoop that low. Many would regard the Captain as a slouch when assessing his everyday life. What prevents his laziness from stalling his progress as a warrior is his love for battle. Myoban loves the art of battle, it wouldn't be wrong to even say he craves it. Even his laziness cannot overcome his lust for battle. Myoban likes to do anything that will give him a sure edge in battle; this extends to extensive training and conditioning. If there is any type of hard work the Captain loves, it is the hard work of training. For unknown reasons, Myoban's laziness could not conquer his passion for training. Most cannot keep up with the amount of strain the Captain puts himself through when training. In battle, Myoban's personality does not change for the most part. He retains his relaxed, cool nature along with his proud outlook. He is not a arrogant warrior. He does mind his enemies and won't disregard the possibility of them being as strong or stronger than him.
Looking at his morals, Myoban is a morally good person. He typically abides by the Soul Society laws as he respects them however, he does not care to always enforce them. He will enforce the ideals the Soul Society values, even it's laws to a certain degree. Myoban isn't a stickler. He isn't constantly looking for criminals or searching for those who would break laws. Whenever he comes across such people, he will enforce his duties as a Captain. Unless directly ordered, Myoban isn't the type to start a man-hunt. Myoban likes to abide by the law and his opinions on order require the existence of laws. As a Captain, Myoban does stress the importance of the justice system implemented by the Gotei 13. He takes his duties seriously when properly acting as his rank and does not hesitate to act in the interest of the Seireitei. While many may question his methods as a Captain, Myoban does know what he is doing. He does realize what it means to be a Captain. His personality expresses this realization in his own, unique way. Myoban is not above keeping secrets. Myoban has his fair share of secrets and inner thoughts. Many wonder what the Captain is actually thinking when he walks in silence.
When with friends, many of them can agree that Myoban is fascinating to a degree. The oddities that come from his approach to life can leave many with the impression of "larger than life". Myoban is one of a kind. He is lazy yet ambitious, lawful yet laxed, serene yet fun. The many interactions he has at parties and gatherings can be very amusing. It is mutually agreed that his distinct personality gives him a combination of tastes unlike any other. It allows for him to undergo some awkward (not to him) and some exhilarating exchanges with various people he meets. To his fellow Shinigami, the Captain is surely admirable (in theory) but receives mixed perceptions based on his unorthodox approach to his Captaincy and life in general. To his fellow Captains, Myoban may be respected in power but questioned in the enforcement in their laws (and his refusal to do most of his reports). To his squad, those who share his relaxed approach to life will find themselves supportive of his ways. Those in his squad who prefer a stern, orthodox like Captain may not favor the Shinigami so well. To Myoban, he regards Shinigami who honor the gotei 13 as Important and beneficial to the Soul Society. Regardless of personal distastes, Myoban will stand by any Shinigami who shares his high value of the Soul Society. His loyalty to the Soul Society is unprecedented.
Hate is a emotion Myoban only reserves for Hollows. Even when facing against these monsters, Myoban will never replace his relaxed nature with rage or hatred. It is very out of character for Myoban to exhibit true rage or anything other than a state of relaxation and calmness. Should Myoban exhibit true rage, the person who invoked his rage is due for immeasurable amounts of pain. However, when facing a Hollow, the Captain does give off another feeling. Normally his aura and presence feels serene and easy going. In the presence of a hollow, Myoban can keep his exterior the same but not his presence. His presence begins to get darker and more irritable. Myoban does change in some ways regardless of his efforts not to show it.
Fighting Style:
Myoban's prowess in Reiatsu is extremely impressive. He almost always will reveal his large amounts of Reiatsu off the bat when he is preparing for a battle. He does this in order to potentially overwhelm the opponent that is facing him so that he may spare their life. Myoban also does this to warn the opposing foe on who he is up against. When fighting hand to hand, Myoban will fight freeform. He comes from Japanese background, he knows some forms of martial arts however, it is more exicting for him to freestyle. Putting random strikes, kicks and combos together gives the Captain a small form of exhilaration. The Captain does keep his strikes refined however, he chooses random combinations when fist fighting. There is a difference between sloppiness and randomness and while many warriors can be both, Myoban is definitely not sloppy. To take this Captain lightly, even in a fist fight, is a grave mistake. Myoban's wild yet controlled fighting style can do damage beyond any repair. If you bite off more than you can chew with Myoban, you will be facing certain death.
Analytically speaking, Myoban does not "study" his opponents. He will make the obvious observations a competent warrior needs to make. He will not analyze his opponent further than what is necessary. To him, it takes the excitement away out of battles trying to predict all possibilities. Myoban would much rather like to observe and adjust while fighting, allowing himself to feel the moment. When fighting against multiple opponents, Myoban will take the weakest one out first. The opponent who can't quite stand up to the Captain's Reiatsu will be taken out as quickly as possible to allow Myoban to focus on the actual threat. When fighting against fighters who focus more so on speed, Myoban will simply play the defensive. He will protect himself as best he can, reacting as efficient as possible. Myoban will simply wait until he has tired the "speedster" out and quickly use his Reiatsu prowess to turn the tides. Myoban will only draw Kagishōten (sealed) when the opponent can withstand his immense Reiatsu. This indicates that Myoban actually takes the opponent as a serious potential threat.
Fighting with Kagishōten, Myoban finds himself to be more proficient with Zanjutsu than actual hand to hand combat. Against the best swordsmen in the Seireitei, Myoban is more than able to hold his own. He certainly knows how to best an inferior swordsmen to himself. Myoban adopts his family's Akahana Sword Style when wielding his Zanpaktou blade. This sword style involves large and precise sword strikes along with the mastery of parries . When fighting in his Shikai form, Myoban will only use his Zanpaktou's ability and techniques. If necessary, Myoban will enforce hand to hand combat enhanced with his Shikai abilities. Myoban will typically like to increase the amount of Reiatsu he reveals to make it harder for opponents to stand up against him. Other than that, his tatics and fighting style remains the same in his Shikai and Bankai forms.
Zanpakutou Spirit Appearance(Optional):
Zanpaktou Spirit:
-Kagishōten
Kagishōten’s spiritual appearance is that of a young woman. She is 5’1 in height, her skin is a porcelain color and her eye color is full light blue; with a grey hue to it. Her face is slim yet beautiful. She has round cheekbones and a soft feminine jaw line. Kagishōten has full, plush lips that are small and symmetrical, adding towards her beauty. Kagishōten’s hair is light silver with black streaks coursing through it (similarly to Myoban’s hair color). Her hair is neatly combed, slicked back and reaches to the bottom of her waist. Thick Strands of her hair fall on the sides of her face but no hair falls over her face. Kagishōten wears a inverted colored Shihakushō. On the back of her Shihakushō, black angelic wings are painted delicately on the fabrics. Kagishōten’s face shows no emotion, and hint of sadness can be seen in her eyes. Briefly looking into Kagishōten's personality; Kagishōten is a very polite and quiet spirit. She never raises her voice higher than a respective tone and respectively refers to people by their rank and status. She respectfully refers to Myoban as 'Captain Myoban' and never speaks ill towards him. Her voice is high pitched with a hint of vulnerability. She will try not to annoy or displease anyone she talks to and is extremely reserved even towards Myoban. When speaking to the Captain, Kagishōten will only answer his most important questions and thoughts, she remains quiet and ceases eye contact when not talking.
-Tenmei Kagishōten
Tenmei Kagishōten’s spiritual appearance is much older than Kagishōten’s. Tenmei Kagishōten has the appearance of a mature woman. She shares the same height as Kagishōten. Her skin is ghostly pale and her eyes are a dull crystal blue color, devoid of life. Tenmei Kagishōten’s face is slim as if she had been starved but she still retains her beauty. She shares the same soft, feminine jawline Kagishōten has albeit older. Her lips are full and plush yet deathly pale, devoid of warmth. This adds a grandeur like element to her beauty. Tenmei Kagishōten has the same light silver hair as her Shikai counter part. Her light silver hair retains the same black streaks coursing through the strands. The style of her hair is drastically different, Tenmei Kagishōten's hair is longer as it falls to her heels. She has two major bangs of hair that gently rest over her face, reaching to her mid chest. Her silver hair is wild and generally unkept, losing it's combed neatness. Tenmei Kagishōten wears a loose Shihakushō that falls off her shoulders. It is completely white with no patterns or color. The brims of the Shihakushō cover her mid chest and her upper arms. The robes drag behind her as a white mass of fabric. Tenmei Kagishōten's face is emotionless and cold. Only hurt and loneliness reside in her lifeless crystal eyes. Tenmei Kagishōten's personality is similar yet different from Kagishōten's. Tenmei Kagishōten is quiet like her counter part however, is extremely cold towards others. She speaks in a mature tone, voice no longer high pitched but still feminine. Tenmei Kagishōten never raises her voice like Kagishōten, but does allow for her words to cut deep. When speaking to someone she does not respect, Tenmei Kagishōten will not hesitate to let that fact be known. She refers to Myoban as 'Shiogana' and refuses to give anymore respect than what a old drunken bum gets from strangers. Tenmei Kagishōten will sometimes not even acknowledge his presence, ignoring his thoughts and questions.
Inner World(Optional):
Myoban's Inner world consist of a grand mountain peak that resonates with pure power. Alongside this giant, world like mountain peak, is a series of smaller mountain ranges which are easily larger than continents. This Mountain Peak and the surrounding Mountain Ranges represent Myoban's true Reiatsu that is stored within Kagishōten. On this Mountain Peak, the land is capped with cold snow. Snow falls ever so slowly within this world, giving off the emotion of melancholy. There is a Japanese styled hut near a ice covered pond. This hut has many items and things that Myoban had in his home long ago when he was alive. There are scented candles lit, hanging along the edges of the low roof. Inside the hut, there are memoirs of Myoban's old life and family that have been lost in the Real world. Standing on the shore of the ice covered pond is where you will find Kagishōten standing lonely and idly, observing the far and distant stars. There are steps directly behind the pond leading to the highest point of the Grand Mountain. These steps are usually unreachable to Myoban if he does not enter his inner world in his Bankai. Looking towards the sky, Memories of Myoban's life will play silently translucent to the stars above them. The stars will shine, billions of sparkling lights enhanced in the sky. The moon and sun in this world will form a duality, with each celestial body being as bright as the other. The brightness that comes from these spheres will not over power the ethereal dimness that allows for the stars to shine so valiantly. Off the edge of the Giant Mountain peak, onlookers will be able to spot many waterfalls spilling from the sides of the smaller mountain ranges. This is Myoban's large Reiryoku escaping from containment due to it's overbearing size.
If Myoban enters this world within his Bankai, Kagishōten will no longer be waiting at the icy pond and he can access the area in which those stone stairs lead to. Following the elevated stone slabs, Myoban will be lead to the top of the peak. It will seem as if he had been climbing the stairs encased between icy walls for eternity. However, once he does reach the top, Myoban will see a throne made out of the ice tip of the mountain. A giant lake will separated this magnificent throne from the narrow stone stairs. This lake will be frozen as well, with shifting ice sculptures being made out of the infinite amounts of ice. These sculptures will animate on the ice by themselves. These sculptures are being that were very close to Myoban, in life and death. These sculptures will shatter, melding back with the ice of the lake once their animation is finished (these animations being selected from Myoban's memory. Above the tip of the Mountain, onlookers can see a Universe swirling in the sky, warping around the sky. Limited stars and galaxies can be observed during this spectacle. Tenmei Kagishōten will be sitting on the frozen throne alone. An air of complete loneliness and gloom will circle around the spirit as she watches the sculptures and universal skies.
Zanpakutou Appearances:
-Sealed State:
Kagishōten is the trusted Zanpaktou Myoban carries. In its non-released state, Kagishōten takes the appearance of an Kodachi sword. The blade length is approximately 55 cm long. The blade itself, takes the appearance of a dark alloy metal. The Tsuba (Guard) portion of the Zanpaktou is elegantly designed to resemble a Angel’s halo. The halo is made of a dark gold metal which hovers around the Tsuba portion of Kagishōten. The Tsuka (handle) portion of the Zanpaktou is slightly more curved than the standard Kodachi, allowing for more leverage and posture while wielding. The Ito (Braid) covering the handle makes a spiral pattern, neatly covering the entirety of the Tsuka. The Ito is dark red and has dark red lion patterns carefully woven into the fabric of the braid. The Kashira (buttcap) is made of gold with wave engravings edged into it. The Saya (scabbard) portion of the Zanpaktou is red, made out of a snake skin like material. Around the Kashira, there is a dark gold chain wrapped around it, closer towards the Tsuba.
-Shikai State:
Kagishōten's appearance in it's Shikai state is drastically different from it's sealed state. For starters, there is no longer a blade. . Within it's Shikai state, the actual Zanpaktou is reduced to that of a hilt. The blade will have vanished along with the Tsuba, Ito and the Saya. Since Myoban claimed his true spiritual power, the actual blade of Kagishōten (the holder of his Reiryoku) will simply reunite with the Shinigami. Myoban will once again gain his true power and his true spiritual state. All that is left is the hilt without a braid and the Kashira. The unbraided hilt will reveal a dark grey alloy handle; the Kashira of the handle will still retain it's golden wave engravings.
-Bankai State:
Tenmei Kagishōten has a rather straight forward appearance. The Zanpaktou appears as a straight edged Katana. The blade is 68 cms long and very slim in width. The blade is completely black with a blue gleam that shines when the blade reflects the light. The Tsuba portion of the Zanpaktou appears as a marvelous, golden crown that wraps around the Zanpaktou. The sharp ridges ontop of this crown extend towards the base of the blade, encircling it. This crown has white diamonds embedded within the base (all around) of the blade. The Tsuka portion of the Zanpaktou is completely straight, allowing no curvature. The Ito which covers Tenmei Kagishōten is a dark, royal red. The Ito wraps around the Tsuka counter-clockwise, forming a spider-web design. There are dark red griffins etched into the fabrics of the Ito. The Kashira is completely black with gold lines aligned parallel on it. The Saya portion of Tenmei Kagishōten is black, made from a snake skin like material. The lines of the snack skin texture have red fabric stitched into it causing a outline visual on the snake skin.
Zanpaktou Nature:
Kagishōten is a Zanpaktou seals it's user's Reiatsu. The meaning behind Kagishōten's name is Eternal Ascension, this implies that the user must ascend. In a sense, this statement is correct. Kagishōten was specifically made to siphon and seal Myoban's massive Reiatsu so he wouldn't kill anyone who are not strong enough to withstand it. Kagishōten was indeed created by Myoban himself, instead of obtaining a Zanpaktou through the conventional method of having a Asauchi. Kagishōten embodies Myoban actual self and all of his power. The Zanpaktou uses the releases of Shikai and Bankai in reverse. Intead of releasing power, these "releases" are seals containing pre-existing power. To other Shinigami unknowing of Myoban's circumstance, his use of Shikai and Bankai are the same as any other Shinigami. In comparison to a Arrancar's Zanpaktou, Myoban's Zanpaktou is quite similar. Ironically, the principle of his Zanpaktou and the Arrancar's Zanpaktou are very much alike; Their Zanpaktou being the seal of the nuclei of their power. As a Arrancar assumes their true form in their Primera Etapa, Myoban assumes his actual power in his "Bankai" state.
Kagishōten stores most of Myoban's actual power in the form of Shikai. His immense Reiatsu, which is strong enough to manipulate force, is stored within this release. Kagishōten stores the remaining amounts of Myoban Reiatsu which are regarded as "Too potent to be sealed within a Shikai. This unimaginable Reiatsu can generate devasting force, independent of other forces, on it's own.
Long story short; Tenmei Kagishōten IS actually Myoban's base.
Zanapkutou Release Names(Include both Shikai and Bankai names, and call out phrases) [Insert Shikai Here/Insert Bankai Here]
Shikai Name: Kagishōten (Eternal Ascension) 限り無昇天
- Shikai Release Command: Reveal The Fracture of Creation
Bankai Name: Tenmei Kagishōten (Heavenly Command of Eternal Ascension) 天命じ限り無昇天
Overall Ability:
As Myoban's Zanpaktou, Kagishōten was specifically made for him and has two main abilities. The first ability is non-battle related and applies only towards Myoban. Since Myoban's Reiatsu is so massive, something was needed to seal it. Kagishōten's main ability is to contain the tremendous amounts of Myoban's Reiatsu. Through the forms of Shikai and Bankai, Kagishōten seals Myoban's massive Reiatsu, leaving Myoban with minimal amounts of Reiatsu. The second ability of Kagishōten is to concentrate Myoban's Reiatsu into an actual ability which is the creation of fissures. Myoban’s overall theme is pure power. This power is expressed in the creation fissures through various means. These fissures will generally cause catastrophic damage to any physical and spiritual object/thing that they are created on. Myoban can create these fissures mainly with his Zanpaktou however, the creation of fissures can extend to conduits such as his fist and feet etc. Myoban cannot create these fissures without having some sort of physical contact with that general space or thing. Through the creation of Fissures, Myoban is able to channel his insane Reiatsu; Further adding to the fissures' capabilities. This is further explored through Kagishōten's Shikai and Bankai states.
(*The Creation of Kagishōten is further explained in "History"*)
Shikai Overall Ability:
Kagishōten 限り無昇天
Release Command: Reveal the Fracture of Creation
The state of Shikai is the first seal to Myobans actual power. This state contains exactly half of his actual Reiatsu and will allow for Myoban to concentrate that power (Zanpaktou ability). Myoban's Shikai ability is to create fissures using Myoban's immense Reiatsu which was sealed within his Zanpaktou. As long as Myoban is in physical contact with the object or the intended target, He can create ruptures and fissures on that target or object, severly damaging it. The sheer power of his sealed Reiatsu cracks and splits whatever Myoban touches. These fissures produced from his Reiatsu are the size of a small crater or pot-hole. The blade of Kagishōten is lost as Myoban reclaims the portion of his true Reiatsu which was sealed within the form of Shikai. The damage output of these fissures are usually 55% of Myoban's leading offensive stat. Since Kagishōten is reduced to a mere hilt, The creation of these fissures are created by Myoban's fist or generally any part of his body. Once hit, These fissures are created instantly with the damages being apparent. Those who have their overall offensive stat greater than Myoban's Reiatsu strength will be able to reduce the damage output to 20% of Myoban's leading offensive stat.
Bankai Overall Ability:
Tenmei Kagishōten 天命じ限り無昇天
Release Command: N/A
Kagishōten's form of Bankai can be seen as the final seal leading towards Myoban's true power. Once Myoban enters Bankai, he will reclaim all of his sealed power and Reiatsu that was siphoned. The Captain's Bankai is merely what his base form should've been. Tenmei Kagishōten retains the concept of using his massive Reiatsu to create devastating fissures on anything he touches; However, a new ability is added on top of this pre-existing ability. Myoban's Bankai abilities are to split anything his fissures are created on and release massive beams of Reiatsu through his creation of fissures. Wherever the blade of Tenmei Kagishōten cuts, a giant fissure will be made with immense Reiatsu blasting forth from that crack. The size of these fissures will be more massive than his Shikai's, scaling to the size of a small mountain. The damage output of these fissures are 100% of Myoban's leading offensive stat due to the rest of his power being regained. With a Reiatsu cost of 100, Myoban can use the second mechanic to the creation of fissures: The bursting beams of Reiatsu.
In addition to the creation of these fissures on objects and people, Myoban can create these fissures to break apart space. Myoban can create these fissures in the sky, the space around him or inside things, so long as the edge of his blade cuts whatever he wants to break. Myoban cannot create any fissures without cutting that intended target or area. Myoban will also retain his Shikai abilities, Adding his Summoning of Reiatsu mechanic onto them (Kaihō).
Zanpakuto Techniques:
Shikai Techniques:
Technique Name: Shirei Naka
Class: Class 3
Cost: 400 Reiatsu + 75 Each use in Post
Technique Type (Kido, Hollow/Arrancar Technique, Human World Dweller Technique, Other): Reiatsu/Zanpaktou
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): Shinigami
Technique Element: N/A
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): [Insert Below]
Shirei Naka is the actual creation of the fissures Kagishōten allows Myoban to create. In Myoban's Shikai, Shirei Naka creates fissures on anything Myoban touches. Reiatsu can be seen bursting on the object or thing, giving off a glow within the fissure. These fissures creates massive cracks on whatever they are casted upon. These fissures rip through whatever they are casted on and produce a cracking sound, similar to the sound of a mirror cracking.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): Myoban MUST touch whatever he wishes to create a fissure on; He must cast his Reiatsu into that object and state the ability name.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) (Insert Below)
This ability is extremely short ranged, Myoban must have contact to create these fissures. The cost to create these fissures is 400 Reiatsu each time he uses this technique. Myoban cannot simply "touch" you in order to create these fissures, He must be channeling his Reiatsu through whatever part of his body that is making contact with you. Even then, Myoban must make clear contact such as a:
- Punch
- Kick
- Grab etc.
He cannot simply "poke" you or make little to no contact and still cause a fissure. The contact he has with said object or thing has to be clear cut. There cannot be: "Myoban grazed past-"; There has to be concise and direct contact with the portion of Myoban's body that is harnessing his Reiatsu. This brings the conversation of speed up. If someone has superior speed, This abillity will be near worthless as Myoban won't be able to make sufficent contact for this ability. Grazes and scratches as his opponent's are dodging will NOT count as contact. Those who have their overall offensive stat greater than Myoban's Reiatsu strength will be able to reduce the damage output to 20% of Myoban's leading offensive stat.
Incantation and Effect:

Reserved? (Yes) (Can others use your technique, or just your character?): [Shiogana Myoban]
Technique Name: Shirei Naka: Hirogaru
Class: Class 3
Cost: 450 Reiatsu + 75 each use in post
Technique Type (Kido, Hollow/Arrancar Technique, Human World Dweller Technique, Other): Reiatsu/Zanpaktou
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): Shinigami
Technique Element: N/A
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): [Insert Below]
Hirogaru is a extension of the Shirei Naka ability. Hirogaru is the ability of expanding the fissures once they are created on something. Once Myoban touches a object with his channeled Reiatsu, that object will undergo the same effects Shirei Naka induces however, the cracks of the fissures will expand on whatever they are created on. This is used mainly to give a larger area of effect for his Shirei Naka ability. The expansion of Shirei Naka causes more damage and impact. Think of Hirogaru as a "heavier" Shirei Naka. The apperance of the ability remain the same, the difference being the larger cracks on whatever Hirogaru is casted onto.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): Myoban MUST touch whatever he wishes to create a fissure on; He must cast his Reiatsu into that object and state the ability name.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) (Insert Below)
As stated with Shirei Naka, The contact remain absolutely the same. However, this move requires for Myoban to have extended contact, usually a grab or clutch. The amount of time he must keep contact is 1 post and the contact rules must still be followed (Reiatsu contact, ect.). Those who have their overall offensive stat greater than Myoban's Reiatsu strength will be able to reduce the damage output to 15% of Myoban's leading offensive stat.

Bankai Techniques:
Technique Name: Tenshirei Naka
Class: Class 1
Cost: 800 Reiatsu + 100 each use in post
Technique Type (Kido, Hollow/Arrancar Technique, Human World Dweller Technique, Other): Reiatsu/Zanpaktou
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?):
Technique Element: N/A
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): [Insert Below]
Tenshirei Naka is the ability to create a fissure that splits apart anything Tenmei Kagishōten cuts. These fissures are MUCH larger than the crater sized Shirei Naka. The fissures Tenshirei Naka create will break and crack whatever Tenmei Kagishōten cuts; The cracks will become so destructive and large, the object or space will be completely split apart. The split of these fissures will cause a loud shrill, the cracks will split the space it has been casted on, leaving glowing cracks. Once the split is complete, that space will be void due to the space filling it being split apart.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): Myoban must cut the intended target with the edge of Tenmei Kagishōten. There must be a clear cut, not a mere "touch"
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) (Insert Below)
Similarly to his drawbacks for his Shikai abilities, Myoban must create contact with whatever he is trying to affect. Instead of his body, Myoban must use the edge of Tenmei Kagishōten to create these giant fissures of Reiatsu. Myoban cannot cut at the sky and choose where his fissures appear; wherever his blade cuts, THATS where the fissure will appear. Think as the fissures following the blade of Tenmei Kagishōten as it's being created. Those with 150 Instinct or higher can deduce the patterns of Myoban's sword slices. They will always be able to figure out the speed of the fissure materialization Tenmei Kagishōten creates. This ability is useless to any who have higher offensive stat than Myoban's Reiatsu Strength stat. The speed drawback from Myoban's Shikai abilities apply as well.
Incantation and Effect:
Made By: [Kagishōten]
Reserved? (Yes) (Can others use your technique, or just your character?): [Shiogana Myoban]
Technique Name: Tenshirei Naka: Kaihō
Class: Class 1
Cost: 900 Reiatsu + 150 per use in post
Technique Type (Kido, Hollow/Arrancar Technique, Human World Dweller Technique, Other): Reiatsu/Zanpaktou
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): Shinigami
Technique Element: N/A
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): [Insert Below]
Kaihō is the release of powerful Reiatsu through the Bankai fissures Myoban produces. This ability works the same as a typical Tenshirei Naka however, powerful beams of Myoban's Reiatsu are released from the spacial fissures of Tenmei Kagishōten. These beams burst out of the created cracks, harming anything in it's path. Kaihō is comparable to abilities such as Grand Rey Cero or Getsuga Tensho. As the cracks form from the edge of Tenmei Kagishōten, the massive amounts of Reiatsu restored within Myoban will blast from the rupture. The beams of Myoban's Reiatsu will be dense and vibrate the surrounding area. The intensity rivals that of a Grand Rey Cero.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): Myoban must cut the intended target with the edge of Tenmei Kagishōten. There must be a clear cut, not a mere "touch". Afterwards Myoban must allow for the Reiatsu to charge within the giant fissure and release it with the tip of Tenmei Kagishōten (pointing the tip of the blade where the fissure is preparing to discharge)
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) (Insert Below)
Being such an powerful technique, there are way more drawbacks from his normal Zanpaktou abilities. First and foremost, The same requirements for making a Tenshirei Naka applies. Therefore the drawbacks for that base ability still applies to Kaihō. New drawbacks for this ability are more unforgiving.
- First off, for each use, Myoban takes considerable fatigue. Keep in mind, this ability is very similar to a Grand Rey Cero, you dont just get to run free after firing one of those.
- The distance of Kaihō's reach is .5 km, its distance is not that considerable. Myoban will need to be up close and personal to get a critical hit with Kaihō. Compared to the distance a Cero can reach, Kaihō is much more inferior
- There is no aiming or directing this technique. Myoban can only position the fissure in which the beam of Reiatsu will emerge from. Once the fissure has been created, whatever position the opening is facing will be where the beam will expel. Myoban cannot manipulate the direction or distance of the Kaihō. Once it is released, it is set.
- Obviosuly, those who have any offensive stat greater than Myoban's will have no problem countering Kaihō through whatever means.

Other Techniques
Technique Name: Shunpo (Flash Steps)
Class: 7
Technique Type: Kidō
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects:
A movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow. The focal point that determines the basis of this technique is speed. As speed is the main point of the technique, the method is best characterized by how fast one can get from Point A to Point B in the least amount of steps. Training and skill are what determines how fast a user of Shunpo can move. Those of little skill in the technique or those who haven't used it for an extended amount of time would obviously be out of practice, causing those individuals to be considerably slower. This requires the use of more steps to move the same distance and become tired more easily in a shorter amount of time. A single step magnifies speed for that step by ten times. Shunpo uses fifty Reiatsu per step. This one is automatically learned in the academy. All Shinigami know this when created. This technique does not take up a technique slot.
How to use technique:
Focus of Reishi around the feet area and launch off into a single blurring step. It is not unlike teleportation in appearance, but it is simply extremely fast movement. It is often used to gain an edge in a single moment of combat or to dodge incoming attacks.
Technique Name: Hado #90: Kurohitsugi (Black Coffin)
Class: 2
Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects: A brutal spell, this Kido forms a box of black energy around a target, which is then pierced by dozens of energy "spears", lacerating the one inside from head to toe. Its appearance and function is reminiscent of a common magician's trick, as well as certain torture devices used during the Spanish Inquisition. Escape from within is nearly impossible, causing those trapped by it to face certain doom. It is virtually unbreakable from the inside, except by a vastly superior spiritual strength, and with a technique class 2 or above. This is also considered impossible to dodge at point blank range.
How to use technique: Speak the spell and point hand towards the target.
Incantation and Effect: “Seeping crest of turbidity. Arrogant vessel of lunacy! Boil forth and deny! Grow numb and flicker! Disrupt sleep! Crawling queen of iron! Eternally self-destructing doll of mud! Unite! Repulse! Fill with soil and know your own powerlessness!” With the incantation, this spell gets a 40% increase in Reiatsu Strength (i.e. if Reiatsu Strength is 100, this is treated as 140 with incantation).
Technique Name: [Bakudo #1: Sai (Restrain)]
Class: [7]
Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects:
Causes the target's arms to lock in place behind their back.
How to use technique:
Physical contact is required from the hand of the caster to any part of the body of the target.
Incantation and Effect:
Incantation increases the strength behind the technique by 10%. (I.E. A reiatsu strength of 100 would instead be valued at 110 for this technique.) "Man, shaped by Divine hands, revert to the form before limbs, clutch at your own throat and be afraid!"

History: [Place below.]
Shiogana Myoban was born on October 10th, 904 A.D. Shiogana was born in the midst of the Heian period, during the Fujiwara Clan’s rule. Shiogana was born on a calm, October morning, during a peaceful sunrise. He was born into the Myoban Clan; A noble clan who supported the Imperial Court since the beginning of the Heian period. This noble clan is widely regarded as one of the first clans to be referred as “Samurai”. Shiogana was born to the almighty Shitomura Myoban, head of the Myoban Clan and his wife Azumi Gekisada-Myoban. Shiogana was their first child and the young couple hoped Shiogana would survive that upcoming winter. During the year of Shiogana’s birth, Shitomura had begun to work in secrecy with other clans in an attempt to overthrow the newly appointed Emperor Daigo. Shiogana’s birth was Shitomura’s only reasoning for abandoning his plans of treason and reaffirming his allegiance to the Fujiwara regency. Instead, Shitomura began to build the power and wealth of the Myoban Clan, in order to leave his son a legacy that would not be destroyed. Shitomura would spend most of Shiogana’s childhood being absent, meeting with powerful government figures and clan heads. Shiogana was mostly raised by his mother, Azumi. Along with his mother, Shiogana was trained in the way of the sword by the Myoban Clan’s best swordsman; Itakami Shokashi. Shiogana spent most of his childhood training and studying governmental ideals and the way of the sword. As a child, Shiogana was raised strictly, compassion was very rare. Shiogana typically enjoyed reading and sparring with Itakami. Growing up, the child was very isolated, not having many friends. He only spoke to those within the Myoban Clan and his immediate family. However, the young boy would stumble upon a young lady of similar nobility. This young girl was named Miyatsugi Nakatane of the grand Nakatane Clan, rivals to the other Noble Clans of Tokyo.
It was a chilling January morning. The sun had yet to cast it’s bright aubade, allowing the moon to cascade over the silent morning skies. Shiogana walked through the empty halls of his estate, desiring only adventure. He had finished his studies and wished for an escape… Shiogana frequently explored the deep forests next to the Myoban Estate as a child. He would enter what many had dubbed as the “Forest of Lost Souls”. He would enter these misty, uncertain woods with fascination. The young boy would constantly interact with these souls; people who stayed in the netherworld, refusing to pass onto the afterlife. Shiogana would enjoy discussing these various lost souls' previous lives and failures. The young boy would keep this ability of his a secret to prevent himself from being labeled as a heretic. One day, the boy decided to travel this forest in the wake of dawn. He shuffled in his dignified kimono when traveling on the ghostly trail. Entering these woods always brought him unease nevertheless, he persisted onwards. However, something was odd on this day. Shiogana knew the various lost souls would watch him closely but something living had their eyes fixated on him. He felt their sight peering into his very being. Eventually, Shiogana got nervous, past the point of being suspicious. The young boy thought of the many enemies the Myoban Clan had. He was taught that he was very valuable to other Noble Clans; as a political statement and a show of superiority. Shiogana would begin to run, trying to find his way back to the Estate. Fear invoked his thoughts and haste took over his actions. Due to pure fear, Shiogana would make the mistake of accidentally running towards the person who stalked him through the forest.
He continue to run in pure fear. He could not afford to be captured by any other clan or faction. He thought about the dishonor he would bring his father, being the heir of the Myoban Clan. Shiogana shut his worried eyes and continued to run through the forest. Stomp after stomp, Shiogana’s movement was halted by another person. This person along with Shiogana found themselves laid on their backs. The impact of the crash sent both of them flying backwards. Shiogana reopnened his eyes, he gazed around the forest. The boy picked himself and dusted his exotc kimono. He had hit something yet, he had no idea where that object was. A tree? No, Shiogana would be leaking blood if he would have ran into one. An animal? Very unlikely… A spirit? The spirits he conversed with? That was impossible, those spirits were generally intangible. The boy’s innocent eyes finally laid themselves upon a young girl around his age. The boy immediately rushed to her side. He checked her vitals and put the back of his hand on her forehead.
“... Excuse me! Please wake up!” Shiogana had certain concern in his high voice. The boy continued to gently shake the girl. Eventually the girl slowly opened her eyes, showcasing emerald colored orbs of beauty. This was Miyatsugi Nakatane.
It was during this time, Shiogana would begin to interact with someone outside of his clan who had drastically contrasting ideals of his own. It was this moment which would lead to Shiogana’s desire to become head of the Myoban Clan. The fateful interaction between these two inheritors of nobility occurred during a beautiful sunrise. This sunrise signified the start of a long relationship. Miyatsugi was stalking the boy she always found as mysterious. The boy who talked to himself, while walking the misty forests alone. She wanted to know why he talked to himself. As the snow began to fall in the wake of the rising sun, the two introduced themselves.
The reserved and strict Myoban:
“My name is Shiogana Myoban, pleasure to be of acquaintance.”
The relaxed and amused Nakatane:
“My name is Miyatsugi Nakatane, nice to meet ya…”
With that fateful encounter, a heavy winter ensued. A winter that held the infinite meetings in the Forest of Lost Souls. A winter which was cold and exciting. The sunrise of each day marked the eager encounters between the children..
