Right now, Cunning isn't a very good type. The perks it gives aren't enough to make the type good enough to stand out from the rest. A character that wants good sensory stats would take the Strategist type, a type that gives better boosts to all three of the sensory stats, where as Cunning only gives one. The boost to that single stat is also considerably lower than Strategist as well, going even at rank one, but falling short at every rank past that. The boost to the spiritual stat is also laughably low as well, having only a 25% boost at rank 1, and a 40% boost at rank two. The max os a character could possibly have on this type would only be 720 os. Coupled that with either a 880 Instinct or Energy Sensory as the only other stat boost the type gives, makes for a very lackluster type, especially with all of the other types that give the same kinds of boosts, but more.
While 880 in Instinct is good, great even, it isn't even the highest boost for the stat, with Medic giving almost as big a boost, and Empath giving an even bigger bonus,while also giving better boosts to other stats. I think that an update to the Cunning type is needed to make it more appealing to those who want a type with a spiritual boost, and a sensory boost, that doesn't require a weird drawback, like Genius, Prodigy, Soul specialist v1, Cripple, etcetera. I suggest the very weird stat boosts to Cunning be increased to be less... weird. More even boosts, like 25, 50, 75 100, instead of the boost line that results in 880.

Rank 1: Increase Energy Sensory or Instinct by 50%, then increase the other by 10%. Increase Reiatsu Strength or Spiritual Pressure by 50%. Gain 1 free point in Analyzing that doesn't count towards your SkP total.
Rank 2: Increase Energy Sensory or Instinct by 75%, then increase the other by 25%. Increase Reiatsu Strength or Spiritual Pressure by 75% (100 would be 150). Gain 2 free points in Analyzing that don't count towards your SkP total.
Rank 3: Double Energy Sensory or Instinct, then increase the other stat by 50%. Double Reiatsu Strength or Spiritual Pressure. Gain 3 free points in Analyzing that don't count towards your SkP total.
Rank 4: Increase Energy Sensory or Instinct by 150%, then increase the other by 75%. Increase Reiatsu Strength or Spiritual Pressure by 150%. Gain 4 free points in Analyzing that don't count towards your SkP total.
Disadvantages: All Ranks: Release must be indirectly offensive and may contain no more than 1 directly offensive property.
Rank 1: 25% decrease to 1 Physical and the non-increased Spiritual Stat (100 would be 75).
Rank 2: 30% decrease to 1 Physical and the non-increased Spiritual Stat (100 would be 70).
Rank 3: 30% decrease to 1 Physical and the non-increased Spiritual Stat (100 would be 60).
Rank 4: 40% decrease to 1 Physical and the non-increased Spiritual Stat (100 would be 50).
This is the stat boost line I would recommend for the type to improve it. I think a mixed type like this should at the very least get a 150% boost at rank 4, while lesser boost to the non-chosen sensory stat would help even it out. Feel free to comment. I'm open for a discussion.
