Shizuka had never been so happy to see dry land. What she did to that plane was ballsy, to say the least, and she made a mental note to never doing that again. It was dangerous and she could have killed innocent people. This fact was one that she didn't care about quite as much, especially because she believed in the world being over-populated as it was. She didn't need to be too convinced someone actually did bad for her to erase them, but this was a different story. She was with Luke now. He wanted to be everyone's hero. She admired that about him and actively chose to value the lives on that plane as much as possible.
Well.. Definitely only so long as they lived. As Avdol thanked her for her participation, the Fullbringer responded with a sheepish grin. She wasn't used to being praised like this. It was actually extremely welcome and she'd repay him with a compliment he would also earn one day. It wasn't difficult to be nice to people. But she was also concerned about Luke. She blinked and her expression grew saddened and concerned. There was a brief pause before she turned to Avdol and held her index finger up like she had an idea. Shizuka ran over to Luke excitedly and smiled.
"Don't be upset about the people we lost! Besides, look! They're totally not actually dead!"
Shizuka gestured over towards a corpse that she brought back to life, so to speak, through the use of Soul Dominance. It wasn't perfect, but the way the body moved was similar to a more lively puppet of sorts. The mouth didn't open or close as Shizuka mimicked speaking. The eyes wouldn't blink at all and looked as if they were staring off into space. There was definitely still a hole through the back of its head from where that Bount's Doll murdered it. The body Shizuka borrowed to pull this off was actually a man's. She didn't know who he was and didn't care to look at his wallet, but she wanted to make Luke feel better.
"Look, look! 'Oh, thank you for saving us!' " Shizuka changed her voice to sound manly. " 'You have done such a wonderful thing!' "
So this was totally in poor taste, but she hoped he would at least not blame himself for everything that happened. At the end of the day, it was actually Shizuka's fault. She made a threat and had to struggle to recover from it after it had gone too far. Now they were stuck in China, which is not at all where they were supposed to be. The feeling of her heart sinking to the bottom of her stomach was ever-present. She felt so guilty. This wasn't her game to control and she already called too many shots. She made the decision at that moment to follow Luke's lead and only help when asked. She was going to put everyone in too much danger.
Shizuka's Remaining Reiatsu: 3,500 (-150 for Soul Dominance)
