Yetsuna picked her head from off her desk, how long had she passed out? She looked down at the piece of paper that had been her pillow and she realized she fell asleep doing paperwork again, looked like this time it was budget reports (why did they have those again?). Alex had retired a long while ago and with no leading candidates for the vacancy the running of the squad de facto fell to her, but unlike being a captain she didn’t have the luxury of a subordinate to help with/push the paperwork off to. Double the paperwork and none of the support to help deal with it. Needless to say it was not a position she was happy to be in.
She looked at the clock, it was a bit past 1300, she started to stand so that she could get herself something to eat, but as she did she felt her body’s muscles protest the movement. She forced herself to her feet, feeling the muscles tug and pull, she was stiff as all hell, penalty for constantly falling asleep at her desk. A trip to a hot spring would probably do her some good in more way then one, but she didn’t feel like going alone, and she most certainly needed to eat before she attempted to climb into any kind of bath or she might risk getting knocked out again.
She thought over her list of girl friends that she could invite when she remembered Shizu. Of all her friend’s she was probably one of the one’s she saw the least, largely due to both of their schedules sucking. She had no idea if today would be any different, but she figured she could check the training grounds and a few other regular spots she knew Shizu frequented and see if she ran into her, if she did, awesome, if she didn’t chances were she would run into another friend she could drag with her. Straightening her hair a bit and adjusting her outfit she grabbed her sword and set off to find some company.
