-Appearance-
Height/Weight: 5’9”/135 lbs.
Physical Description:
Priscilla Krantz is a woman of physical beauty. She stands at a fairly average 5’9”, and weighs a healthy 135 lbs. Her physical build is quite slender, with few defining features. Her form is rather “normal”, with few feminine assets. To put it quite bluntly, she's close to flat on both sides. This is not something that has worried her, as, even though she's fairly vain, she still has a strong amount of self-confidence, and is proud to look as she does. One may say that, besides what was previously mentioned, she was blessed with a stellar appearance, as is evident from her face.
Priscilla's hair is golden in color, and well kept to say the least. Making sure that her hair is in the best possible condition is of the utmost importance to Priscilla, as it's one of the first things others will actually notice about her to begin with, so keeping it in perfect condition is an absolute must. The length of her hair is roughly 15 inches long. With this length, she's not opposed to styling it in different ways, as to keep things interesting for those she meets or for those she sees on a daily basis. When you've got the option to style you hair in various different ways, why wouldn't you? Generally, though, her hair is kept braided, and usually rests atop her shoulder quite nicely. On occasion, she'll keep her hair as is, without any shape or styling, showing off small but natural curls to her hair.
Making our way down, Priscilla's eyes are certainly a sight to behold, pun intended. They're doe-like in shape and size, though not to the point where they're taking up the majority of her face. They rest a small distance away from the top of her forehead where they belong. Her eyes are a deep green in color. On occasion she may wear some form of eyeliner or mascara to accentuate her eyes, but Priscilla much prefers to let her natural beauty show, as opposed to having to accentuate her already flawless appearance. Around her eyes are completely clear, free from any bags or anything of the like. Her eyebrows are fairly small as well, and thin in shape. They rest neatly between her eyes and her forehead, adding a good balance between the two, while avoiding from looking unnatural in any way.
Her nose rests neatly towards the center of her face, and is rather small and cute. Her nose does not protrude out very far, and has a very minuscule curve upwards. Her nostrils are never flared, as there's no reason to do so to begin with. Right below her nose is her mouth, which, naturally is completely clean from any and all hair around her mouth. Her lips are a pale pink in color, taking on a slightly more red appearance. Her complexion is completely clear of any and all blemishes or scars, as she takes excellent care of her skin. Having never had to deal with acne or anything of the like, she tends to make sure that this will never happen.
When speaking, Priscilla has somewhat of a German accent. over time it has since nearly faded, but traces of it still remain. This is something that is likely never going to completely fade, as it links back to her early childhood, but it has since died down significantly. When speaking, she tends to use various hand gestures as to do what she can to get a point across. This is also something she's been doing since a young age, and something of a habit that she's likely not going to be broken of any time soon, nor is there any need for her to break this habit any time soon.
As far as clothes go, Priscilla is constantly, and almost 100% of the time going to be seen in a Vandenreich uniform. Her uniform is specialized, having made a fair deal of it herself. Starting off is the overcoat, and this is where it becomes obvious that this personalized uniform takes more inspiration from the male variant of the normal uniform, as opposed to those meant for women. This is the standard double-breasted trench coat that most members wear, consisting of a white color and long sleeves. The coat, however has four fairly large slits in the back. These are to aid with Priscilla's Vollstandig, as to not destroy her uniform upon using it. As such, these slits are folded over one another as to not reveal anything while she's not in her Vollstandig, as well as to help account for the size of the tendrils that form. On the left sleeve of the coat, attached to the kissing buttons, is her Quincy cross resting neatly from the buttons attached to a chain. Inside the left breast pocket is another chain, with this one holding her small bow.
Next along the uniform is a pair of white dress pants that match quite nicely underneath the jacket. These pockets are more akin to khakis in shape, despite the white color of them. Each leg has three pockets, one where they would normally be on the hips. one on the outer thigh, and one down by the leg. The first set of pockets are actually, well, pockets. They're not those fake pockets that most pairs of women's pants have, as these are fairly deep. These are used to keep her hands, as she doesn't like to put anything in these. Her next set of pockets are halfway between her hips and her knees, and are deep as well. These are usually used to store bulkier but smaller items, such as a canister or can of some kind. This last pocket is much smaller in size, as it's more of an "improvisational pocket", meaning that any item that may need to be concealed or quickly used, such as a small grenade-like object, is likely going to be here. These pockets are covered by a pair of black trench boots, stretching up to Priscilla's knees.
Underneath her overcoat, Priscilla wears a long-sleeved dress shirt, not being very fond of having little underneath her coat. The inside of her overcoat is absolutely riddled with various areas to store items that may be of use. On the left side, six leather rings exist as to hold six different Steele Schneide hilts. These hilts are spaced out enough as to not interfere with the bending of her coat, though due to the length of them, bending down is rather hard when they're all in the rings. Once the overcoat is opened, they can be quickly drawn without issue. Priscilla will make sure as to keep six hilts on her at all times, with no exceptions. On the right side holds similarly shaped, but smaller leather rings, as to hold Ginto tubes. These rings and storage areas are padded as well as possible, as to prevent them from being damaged, unless her torso is being crushed from all around, in which case, even the hilts may be damaged depending on the force. There are a total of thirty rings to store said Ginto tubes, though she's a fair deal less likely to keep these stocked up, as Ginto tubes can be rather expensive.
On her right breast pocket, Priscilla has the Vandenreich emblem, seemingly made of some form of metal. This emblem is Priscilla's Quincy Cross, and acts as a means of drawing in reiatsu, as the Quincy cross does. Atop her head, is a peaked cap, also emblazoned with the Vandenreich emblem. The cap is lined with various whites and blues, having quite an ornate, but commanding look it it. It would be fair to say that the hat belongs to someone of a higher standing or rank. This emblem appears to be made of a similar material, and acts as her Spirit Fragment. Her hat is held to her head through various pins holding to her hair inside of the hat, as to prevent it from flying off of her head in a combative scenario, as to keep her drawing in reiatsu when she is able to.
Though she may wear this the majority of the time, there are still moments when wearing the full uniform is far from beneficial. When these situations arise, Priscilla is much more likely to be seen wearing casual attire, though still consisting of various blues and whites. Even when needing to be inconspicuous, she’ll still do what she can to represent her home. Even in casual attire, she’s still going to be seen wearing her cap, held to her head with various pins. Her Quincy Cross is likely to be adorned to whatever it is she’s wearing, being placed over her heart when not wearing her normal Vandenreich uniform. Even when wearing casual clothes, which will differ on appearance depending on where she is, she’s still likely to summon her uniform to fight in that, as she’s much, much more comfortable when she knows that she’ll be well-armed in combat.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Personality-
Dislikes:
Free Quincy - “They’re a shame, really. With all of that potential, it’s a shame they let it go to waste. What is it like to fight without any reason in the world? Granted, they’re much more deserving to be in our ranks than those of any other race, I’m not sure how I’d feel to see one of them in our midst.”
Lack of Prep Time - Priscilla feels she should be able to have as much time as she needs to prepare for a mission or event, as at that point, she’ll be at her best. If she’s not, or she doesn’t have the option to prepare, she’ll likely sit out if that option is available.
Questioning her Authority - She doesn’t take lightly to those questioning her authority over others. She worked hard for her position, and she isn’t going to let some lowlife with no title squander that.
Hollows - “They’re a fate worse than death; quite literally, in fact. They’re repulsive, barbaric creatures. They should be cleansed; nobody should have to suffer through that torment of constantly feeling the need to feed like that."
Shinigami - Priscilla has had some seriously bad experience with Shinigami in the past. Though they may be the reason she is who she is today, there's still an extremely large hatred for them.
Death - Simply put, until release, Priscilla doesn’t particularly care for murder. She’d much rather incapacitate her enemies and deal with them later as opposed to end their life. The only exception she’ll make for this rule is hollows.
Casual Events - She doesn’t like to be in these kinds of events. They’re generally without any form of order; any form of force balancing the chaos. If they have some kind of order to them, as in somewhere where she could “flex” her rank towards others, then she may attend.
Order (Post-release) - Upon releasing her bow, Priscilla’s personality effectively takes a 180 degree turn. After her personality shift Priscilla has given up most of her cares for order and law, and instead exists to do what she wants, when she wants to do it, without any care of who may look to stop her.
Lack of Morality - While her morals aren’t exactly the most well constructed herself, she does not care for those who have no morals whatsoever. These kinds of people are the ones who will kill for sport without a regret in the world. These kinds of people need to be corrected.
Being told what to do - Priscilla likes to be in charge. Her personality won’t allow her to be anything else but in charge of those weaker than her. While she’ll acknowledge when she’d be beaten, and is willing to take orders from superiors, that does not mean she particularly cares for it.
Likes:
Plants - Unsurprising due to her namesake, Priscilla loves plants, especially flowers. Her favorite kind of flower is the Osiria Rose, due to the unique color scheme of such a beautiful and well-renowned flower.
Books - Priscilla enjoys reading quite a lot. Though, she tends to stay away from fiction genres, as nonfiction books are likely the only books that are going to teach her much of anything, hence the type of writing that nonfiction is.
Her Uniform - She’s got a bit of a soft spot for accessorizing, though, while this may be the case, she tends to prefer to stay in uniform. Something about it makes her feel powerful and in charge, something she likes.
The Vandenreich - She’s devoted herself to the Holy Empire since she was young. That devotion is both not going to fade any time soon, and is extremely strong. She’s willing to give her life for the will of the Emperor.
Aconitum - Priscilla’s bow, Aconitum, as she named it, is one of her most prized possessions. She’ll carry it with her relatively everywhere she goes, as there’s no reason not to. Considering her cross can easily be concealed, there’s no sense in leaving without it.
Acquaintances - Priscilla has a fair amount of acquaintances, a good deal of which have their own ways of being useful to her. Whether this be through training, or those she could possibly learn from in other ways, she holds these people rather close to her.
Infestation (Post-release) - After her personality shift, Priscilla tends to care very much for spreading her plague-ridden influence on everyone, and everything she comes across. If an ally decides to cross her, they’ll certainly be far from spared, not that they would be spared anyway for fighting alongside her.
Tormenting those Weaker Than Her (Post-release) - After her personality shift, Priscilla takes a rather sick enjoyment in messing with those she could easily dominate. As such, in a fight, she’s more likely to let someone weaker live, if it means she can have a bit of fun with them.
Carefully executed planning - There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing everything you’ve been working towards actually manage to work itself out nicely. This is something that Priscilla strives for both in and out of combat, with both physical and social affairs.
Modern Technology - Keeping in touch with subordinates has been made so much easier with the introduction of modern technology, mostly including cell phones. Granted, nothing beats a face-to-face conversation, but they’re useful for quick calls when the time arises.
Flaws:
Vain - Priscilla, while able to cover it when she wants to and when she needs to, is fairly self-obsessed. This isn’t something she’ll try to hide if the situation will allow it, but in front of superiors, she’ll do what she needs to in order to suppress this.
Excitable - Priscilla can have quite a lot of energy at times. While this doesn’t necessarily show, as she’s a fairly laid back person in general, she may get rather excited easier than most.
Hopelessly Devoted - At this point, she’s devoted her very being to the betterment of the Vandenreich, and this is not something that is going to change anytime soon. She’d likely change some of her beliefs and morals before changing her alignment with the Holy Empire.
Reckless (Post-release) - After her personality shift, Priscilla can get quite reckless in both combat, or social situations if those are possible for her post-release. She does not watch what she says nearly as much, as well as the fact that she will likely focus on an attack without a plan, which contradicts how she would fight without her bow.
Talkative - She likes to talk quite a bit when she gets the chance, and is much more prone to speaking out of line, which is something that may be extremely bad for a Vandenreich member.
Habits:
Fiddling with her fingers - Whenever she gets bored or anxious, Priscilla will mess with her fingers and nails, as a sort of way to release stress, or occupy herself. Most commonly, she’ll start to “snap” her thumb underneath of her middle and index fingers.
Overexertion - She’s quite likely to lose track of her limits in a fight, due to the fact that she’s constantly looking to overcome these. Until that happens, though, she’s much more likely to cause herself to possibly pass out in combat.
Harming Allies (Post-release) - While this one would normally be a flaw, there are quite a few ways for her to turn this into a positive through the use of her bow. She has the ability to aid allies through the amount of abuse they’ve taken from her, so why not put that to good use?
Fears:
Being stripped of her rank - This is easily Priscilla’s biggest fear. She does not want to lose her position of power, under any circumstances. She’ll do whatever it takes to prevent that from happening, as well as to keep herself rising in ranks.
Being Forced to Abandon the Vandenreich - As stated multiple times, she’s devoted to the Emperor. Being forced to leave would be like stripping her of a will to live and go on. She fears the day that this may happen like a recurring nightmare.
Being Overwhelmed in Combat - This is her job! She’s the one who does the overwhelming, not anybody else! This is both a fear, due to the fact that she has no way to really deal with being overwhelmed, as well as a severe dislike due to the fact that it’s robbing her of her way of fighting.
Goals:
Sternritter - I, The Infestation. This is a massive goal for Priscilla. It’s something she’s dreamed of ever since she found out the rank existed, and it’s something she’s not going to stop striving for until she actually takes the position.
Living a Fulfilling Life - This is another high up one for her. Many people have told her throughout her life that this was not the path for her. She’s here to prove those people wrong, and make them forcefully eat their words.
Finding that “special someone” - She wants to find someone who appreciates her as much as she appreciates herself. Though this might not be the easiest task, it’s something to happen over time, not right away. As such, it’s not a high priority for her.
Alignment: True Neutral
Overall Personality:
Priscilla is a much more laid back individual pre-release. She’s the type of person to help out those she considers her allies without much more than a second thought. In doing so, she works to make sure others can actually trust her. She knows that her release can cause issues to those around her, and as such, she looks to avoid this by building a stable amount of trust with those around her. Upon reaching this point, others will hopefully be able to trust that she’s not actually looking to kill them, and actually help them thrive in combat! For those she cares for, she’ll make sure that they don’t suffer too much from significant wounds, and instead will focus on keeping them alive if possible.
When faced with people she likes in pre-release, she’ll stay as nice to them as possible. She’s by no means a mean person, and, while certainly vain, she knows when to tone it back and when to allow it to shine through. Around these people, she’ll make sure it’s toned down, and make sure that they feel about themselves as she feels about herself. She tries to remain motivational to those she likes, and will do so as best as she can. This will generally consist of various compliments and such, as she views these as a great self-confidence booster. If need be, she may even monologue to prove her point. This is something she’s rather prone to doing, so don’t be taken by surprise if this were to happen. Talking with others is something she enjoys doing, and helping them is something she enjoys even more. Granted, there are still people that she may not like, as that’s natural to not like people.
To the people she doesn’t like, a simple question is to be asked; “How?” Priscilla is the kind of person to make friends with everybody she meets, aside those she cannot make friends with due to racial issues. She’s the kind of person to give people multiple chances to the point where it could easily be taken advantage of. If you somehow manage to get her to dislike you, you must have done something atrocious. That aside, though, if she does not like someone, she’ll generally show her inner narcissist towards these people. She won’t be afraid to be incredibly vain, and may even go as far as to put that person down every chance she gets. Karma’s a bitch, and that much is going to be made clear if you did something to get this kind-hearted, self-loving Quincy to dislike you. Hell is going to be paid, and it is not going to be a very enjoyable experience for either party.
To those that want to go from her good side to her bad side, there are quite a few ways to do this. For one, she holds her friends dear to her. Those she considers her friends are those she’d be willing to die for. If you wanted to go straight to her bad side, either hurt, attempt to hurt, or worst of all, kill someone she’s close to. This will not only put you on her shit-list, but also give her the desire to get revenge. Vengeance is a fairly strong feeling within Priscilla, and she’s by no means above it. Second, she holds the Vandenreich higher than she holds herself. Insulting her is one thing, she’s going to be able to generally take the insult. If you wanted to get to her, though, insult the organization that she’s devoted herself to. Insult those she’d fight alongside for a shared goal. This is another surefire way to get underneath her skin, and an excellent way to provoke her in combat. Though, be warned, at this point she’ll be out for blood if someone manages to let it get this far.
To go from her bad side to her good side, one can expect to do this rather easily. She’s not the type of person to stay angry at people for long, nor is she the kind of person to hold grudges. To get off of this list, simply apologize. So many people underestimate the value of apologizing that it’s almost concerning. A simple heartfelt apology is generally all it’ll take in order to get back on good terms with Priscilla. Granted, she’s very “forgive but don’t forget”, so chances are someone will never be 100% forgiven, but it’ll remain fairly close to that. Another way is to apologize through actions, not words. This includes things like helping her, offering to train with her, or even going as far as to save her life. Acts of heroism are greatly appreciated, and recommended to get on her good side. Depending on the act, and the amount of acts performed, this could easily clear the slate in Priscilla’s mind.
In order to get close to her, one must return the sentiments that she gives to others. Essentially, this means appeal to her narcissism. If someone can manage to do something as simple as that, while weary, she’ll be more likely to trust them. While this may not be the best trait out there, it’s certainly an effective one to have to set up for flaws. While her physical appearance may be damn near unmatched, her personality isn’t exactly in the best situation, and as such, appealing to her physical side is an effective way to get her to appreciate you more. Another effective way to get close to her is to make yourself useful to her. As someone who’s generally appreciative of everything for her, she’ll remember those times you held a door for her, or those times you helped her reach something high up. It’s the simple things that matter, and the simple things that add up over time. Getting close to her is by no means something that can be done immediately, and is something that, if an end result is desired, must be done rather constantly.
While released, Priscilla’s personality goes through a major shift. Instead of being altruistic and benevolent, she turns much more sadistic towards those around her. She gets more deceptive, and becomes hard to control. Those looking to give her orders at this point might as well give up, as, unless she cares for you significantly, trusts your opinion, and has goals that align with yours, she’s not going to listen at all. At this point, she does what she wants and fights how she wants. She’s going to take charge at this point, and fight like nobody else matters to her. While released, she’s much more prone to making stupid mistakes and harming allies. Though, none of this really matters to her, as she’s the one in charge for this fight. Anybody that tries to take this from her is just another enemy that needs to suffer at the hand of her plagues.
To stay on her good side while she’s released, the best thing to do is to listen to her. At this point, granted she’ll feel she’s in charge, the best thing to do is to humor her and go along with her plans. Generally they’ll be relatively well constructed, if not self-destructive as well. If you’re looking to stay on her good side, the best thing to to is just to listen to what she has to say. At that point, she’ll look out for you as best as she can afford to while keeping herself safe. A sort of symbiotic relationship, if you’d prefer to call it that, pun intended. Doing the exact opposite, and attempting to boss her around while she’s released, is an incredibly bad idea unless the above prerequisites are met.
By ordering her around while she’s released, she feels as though that’s basically saying “I don’t care who you are, I’m more important than you 100% of the time”. As such, she’ll make fighting back against that person a priority. Essentially, doing that will cause a fight not only against the enemy at hand, but against Priscilla as well, and, depending on the enemy, it may be a fight that the person who got on her bad side might not be able to win. It’s an extremely risky game to play if that person isn’t confident that they can’t take on Priscilla and whatever enemies they were originally fighting. Needless to say, avoid doing this if possible.
By nature, Priscilla is quite easily manipulated outside of her release. While sealed, she’s quite easy to mold, personality wise. She’s the type to where, if she has a reason to trust you well, she’ll do so blindly most of the time, and essentially follow any order that is given to her. Granted, getting her to trust you to this level is far from an easy task, though not impossible. By taking into account the things she dislikes, things she likes, ways to make her trust you, as well as preventing the ways to make her dislike you, it could potentially be a task that pays off in the end, due to the fact that she’ll essentially begin to follow like a lost puppy who's been given food and water.

-Powers-
Fighting Style:
Priscila’s fighting style is extremely strategic, to say the least. At the start of a fight, unless she needs to call upon it, she’ll generally stay out of her Bow Release, due to not liking the shift in personality that it causes. While “sealed”, Priscilla will focus on fighting through the use of her bow, as well as using various Quincy techniques in order to hopefully take down the opponent without the need to use her release. Though, due to her type, this is likely going to be hard, to say the least. She’ll generally release as soon as she realizes that there’s going to be a rather significant power difference; one that she wouldn’t normally be able to overcome.
Upon activating a single Property, Priscilla is going to constantly make sure that at least one property is always active, as to keep her potential at its absolute maximum. She’ll take advantage of her statistic increases as they come, and use them to shut down her opponent as soon as possible, while also making sure to delay the fight enough to actually make use of her Spores. While they may not be the most effective form of shutting down an opponent, they certainly have their perks. For one, it’ll begin to weaken the opponent as time goes on, potentially making combat far easier for her and her allies.
With just her first Form property active, Priscilla’s main focus is going to be applying infections to her enemies, her allies, and even herself. Though she’ll generally look to keep the infections to herself and allies at a minimum, they’re certainly useful when applied. She’ll be generally “spamming” arrows, to an extent, as to keep the battlefield as spore-dominated as possible. While like this, the chances that one is going to get away from these spores are fairly limited. After all, all it takes is a single spore before hell will begin to break loose.
With her second Form Property active, our Quincy turns into much more of a melee fighter. Her main goal will be to close distances with enemies and allies, and apply as many stacks to them as possible. She turns into a much more rushdown-based fighter, looking to overwhelm the opponent with variable attacks. If available, she’ll activate some of her other properties in combination with this one, most of the time one of those properties being Proliferation, as it’ll help spread out her spores in a time where they’re necessary.
With just her first Power Property active, she’ll be looking to pressure opponents into using this to multiply their spores, if possible. If they refuse to do so, she’ll start by doing it, as well as doing what she can to get her allies to, and then use her second Power Property in order to spread those Spores to her enemies, as well as lessen the amount that allies have built up over this time. While it might take a bit, she’s definitely thinking about her allies. As such, she’ll do what she can to make sure they’re as healthy as she can afford to let them be.
With her second Power Property active, she’ll tend to focus on keeping her allies at as low a number of spores as they can be, while keeping her enemies as as high a number as possible. This is a property that can, and hopefully will accentuate the number of spores enemies have. When used in conjunction with her Heart Property, she’ll look to keep herself as a target most of the time, as she’ll be able to withstand her own spores well enough to keep the majority of them on her targets.
Priscilla, under no circumstances, is going to keep just her Heart Property active. Due to the nature of the property softening the blow of her own spores on herself, there’s absolutely no reason to keep it on without actually having spores to manage. As such, she’ll generally combine this with her second Form property, as well as her Soul property as to keep her enemies within melee distance to keep them continually infected, or with her second Power Property and first Form property, as to keep them shut down from a range, and continually infected with spores that she’s giving herself, as well as those that she’s forcing upon her enemies.
With her Soul Property active, Priscilla is going to be focused on keeping enemies within this range, and allies outside of this range. While, it could theoretically be used to keep the number of spores within her allies in check when used with her second Power Property, it’s fairly reiatsu heavy, and generally not something she’ll want to do as it’s effectively halving the number of spores that can be applied to an opponent for spending time in the Proliferation Zone. As such, she’ll generally look to keep this active with her melee-enabling properties, or with the use of a Hohle Schneide as to keep her in melee distance while still being able to siphon a large amount of reiatsu through the use of her spirit fragment and cross.
Through the use of multiple properties, Priscilla can change her way of fighting to better allow for her to support her allies in ways that they need. For instance, say she’s allied with many ranged fighters with little ways to keep themselves alive in melee range. She’ll activate her second Form Property, her first Power Property, and her Soul Property. This allows for her to keep melee opponents at bay through the use of her parasitic blade, allow allies to lessen the cost of their techniques in order to keep attacking, as well as multiply the growth of every single spore in the area, continuing to infect her enemies.
If her allies have significant melee advantage, but can’t afford to close in due to the opponent focusing on ranged techs and attacks, She’ll activate her First Form property, her second Power Property, and her Heart Property. With these, she’ll be able to punish those opponents by making use of her arrows, while also applying spores to herself by walking through the trails. From here, she’ll be able to link herself up to an enemy with the use of her Power Property, and reapply it as needed to keep the opponent up to the brim with Spores, while keeping herself immune from the effects through her Heart Property, allowing her to continually infect herself while spreading them to other places.
While she has a serious amount of versatility in her kit, she does lack one thing - lethality. While yes, it’s 100% possible to kill through her spores if perfect conditions are met, they’re severely unlikely. Due to this, she’s more of an offensive support fighter, allowing her to play off of her allies’ strengths and her opponents’ weaknesses. Though, this does leave her with a lack of killing-potential. As such, she’ll likely make use of non-release techniques in order to do what she can to shut down the opponent when they’re weak enough, as a sort of improvised execute.
Vollstandig is a bit of a touchy situation for Priscilla. She tends to use it as more of a last resort than anything, due to the fact that it consumes all of her active spores. As such, she’ll need to plan ahead if she knows she’s going to need Vollstandig, by both keeping an eye on her reiatsu, as well as making sure she’s got a significant amount of spores on herself to be able to take advantage of her bonuses in Vollstandig, essentially working to kill herself for more power. This is a fairly common trait in her fighting style, as seen from her Power Properties.
Bow Release Overall Theme:
Priscila’s Bow Release is focused around spreading an infestation. All of her properties either apply stacks of Spore Plague, an infection created by Priscilla herself tasked with slowly shutting down the bodily systems of any who take in too many spores, or spreading and multiplying stacks of Spore Plague as the infestation around everyone begins to turn more and more malignant.. While the end result of death is nearly impossible to hit from just her Form Properties, when you begin to factor in strategically spreading her spores to allies only to cause the opponents to shoot up exponentially in the total number of spores, as well as the ability to give the opponent a method of self-destruction, should they desire to make their techniques cheaper, that vision of 10,240 stacks of Spore Plague becomes more realistic.
Granted, such a massive number of stacks is going to be nearly impossible to reach without some outside forces. The right conditions would need to be met for this to occur. Priscilla would need to have at least one ally, an opponent that needed to make use of the lower reiatsu costs, as well as someone who preferred to stick within melee distance. If these conditions are not met, then hitting such a high number of stacks is once again just not possible.
Her Form Properties focus on initially beginning the infection. These properties apply a minuscule amount of stacks to begin with, as they’re not meant for more than that. As soon as a victim has a more utilizable number of stacks, these’ll likely see no use in combat. At that point, Priscilla will begin to use some of her other properties to continually spread this infestation.
In Vollstandig, the lethality of her spores multiplies, as they’re much, much easier to apply, and become living bombs of infectious reiatsu. Though, similar to all of her properties, this could end up being an extreme double-edged sword, as allies are also affected by this. While trying to execute an enemy, she could potentially be dragging her allies down with them, and that’s generally something that should be avoided for obvious reasons.
While Vollstandig is active, Priscilla turns into much more of a rushdown fighter, similarly to when her second Form property is active. While this is the case as she’ll be using her massive tendrils to smash into the opponent, as well as possibly even constrict them, that’s not to say that she won’t make use of non-release techniques. While in Vollstandig, she’ll generally use these as a sort of mixup, as to keep the opponent from predicting her fighting capabilities.
While her release is active, Priscilla gains an increased immunity to the effects of her own spores. While her Release is active, Priscilla only takes 25% of the mutual pool from Symbiotic Relationship, instead of 50%, leaving the remaining 75% on the other target affected. She no longer suffers the symptoms of having a large number of spores. While these effects are fairly great, they’re not without drawbacks.
Bow Release Properties:
Class 6 - Form - Infectious Arrow - Priscilla’s arrows after the use of her Form Property take on a much more physical appearance. These arrows now take a wooden shape, though maintain their size, strength, and flight speed. They still have the ability to explode, as well. At a first glance, it appears to be just an appearance change. Though, this is far from the truth. Upon firing an arrow, a large trail of spores are left circulating through the air, forming a sort of trail from where the arrow fired. This trail is as thick as the arrow, and will begin to fall to the ground after a few seconds, moving at a speed slower than that of a piece of paper, eventually hitting the ground after two posts have passed. Needless to say, they fall quite slowly. Anybody that moves through these spores before they reach the ground, whether it be ally, enemy, or even Priscilla herself, will be infected with 4 stacks of “Spore Plague”. This can be reduced to 3 stacks if the infected target has a 1 in Poison Resistance, 2 stacks if the infected target has a 2 in Poison Resistance, 1 stack with a 3 in Poison Resistance, or 0 stacks with a 4 in Poison Resistance. If a target is shot by the arrow, they will be infected with 5 stacks, similarly decreasing the number of stacks that will actually infect them with each consecutive point in Poison Resistance. In the case that her Power Property, Spore Plague, is not active, these spores will remain in the air where they are until that Power property is activated, with them then beginning the descend process described earlier in the property.
Class 5 - Form - Infectious Blade - Priscilla’s second Form Property changes her bow this time, instead of her arrows. Her bow takes on a much more physical shape, forming into that of a rapier, and loses the ability to fire her arrows. Though, while this may be true, she still has a way of making use of her spores like this. While this Form Property is active, her blade swings will now leave behind a trail of spores behind them, infecting those who come in contact with this trail with a number of spores equal to the number caused by the trail from her arrows, and can be lowered to 0 through a 4 in Poison Resist, similarly to the trails from her arrows. These trails are as thick as the blade of her rapier, and fall at a similar speed. Those pierced or slashed by her rapier will be infected with a number of spores equal to being shot with one of her arrows, reducing down to a minimum of 1 stack with a 4 in Poison Resist. In the case that her Power Property, Spore Plague, is not active, these spores will remain in the air where they are until that Power property is activated, with them then beginning the descend process described earlier in the property.
Class 4 - Power - Spore Plague - The infection that is the capstone of Priscilla’s powerset. This allows her to activate a variety of effects, either aiding allies, debilitating enemies, or even increasing her own offensive potential & increasing the severity of the plague. While this may be the case, that isn’t to say that this plague doesn’t have effects depending on how severely the target is inflicted with said plague. This will affect anybody with a single stack or more of Spore Plague, including allies and Priscilla. Due to the speed at which Spores are produced, the chances that a victim will naturally 1,000+ Stacks are impossible, though can be reached from the victim’s own choices.
While this property is not active, a victim can still build up spores from Priscilla's other properties. The effects of these spores, however, which are listed below, will not be activated until this property is activated as well. Once this property is deactivated, the effects of these spores will end until it is once again activated. If this property is active while the target has over 10,000 stacks, the process towards death will begin.
10 Stacks - While minuscule, this is where effects start to take place. As the spores slowly begin to spread and multiply, those affected with notice themselves involuntarily twitching. This is not anything severe, but is noticeably there. May hinder fighting capabilities in situations requiring extreme precision.
40 Stacks - Continuing to flare up, the spores circulating through the unlucky victims will begin to worsen these twitches from 10 Stacks, making them into more of muscle spasms that will happen at random. This may affect combat scenarios more commonly than before.
160 Stacks - The victims will quickly realize something is wrong. They’ll begin to feel nauseous, and the world around them will begin to feel like it is slowly spinning. This will leave the victims rather disoriented. This effect can be resisted with a 1 in Strength of Will.
640 Stacks - The victims will begin to feel an intense internal pain throughout their entire body, as the spores they have been infected with start to attack their nervous system. Any attack made against the victim will feel much, much worse than what they would normally feel (i.e. a smaller slash across the arm will begin to feel like the victim had that arm severed). This can be resisted by a 3 in Strength of Will, Pain Tolerance, or Poison Resist. Muscle spasms will start getting much more violent, and will begin to happen much more often, resulting in one or two every ten seconds or so.
2,560 Stacks - As the spores continue to dominate the victims’ bodies, certain limbs will begin to go numb, as circulation to said limbs is slowly cut off. Upon reaching 2,560 Stacks, every 3 posts a limb will go completely numb, and an even more intense pain will begin, starting in the areas right before the limb (i.e. the shoulder will begin to feel intense throbbing while the victim’s arm is numb). Once a victim’s limb is numb, it is deemed paralyzed and unusable, unless circulation can be restored to the limb. This will prioritize the user’s dominant arm, then non-dominant, then legs.
10,240 Stacks - The pinnacle of the infection. Upon reaching 10,240 Stacks, the victim’s bodily systems will begin to shut down entirely on them. Every post, a new system will begin to fail. This will start with the victim’s immune system stripping them of any points in Poison Resistance that they had. Following this is the victim’s excretory system, and, though this has no short-term effects, can cause severe infection in the long-term. Next up is the victim’s digestive system, once again having limited short-term effects, but does cause a 2% reduction to the victim’s stamina every post, as their body continues to use up the remaining nutrients to stay alive. If the victim runs completely out of stamina at this point, while in a DE thread, they will die. After this, is the victim’s respiratory system. At this point, the victim will lose any ability they once had to breathe, as their lungs fail them. These dangers accentuate as, during the next post, the victim’s circulatory system will shut down in its entirety, eventually resulting in the victim’s death in a DE thread. In a non-DE thread, the target’s respiratory and circulatory systems will not shut down, and will simply cause the target to lose consciousness after the effects of the respiratory shutdown would normally happen.
Class 3 - Power - Strength for Suffering - “What am I if not a reliable friend?” This Power Property accentuates the exchange of strength and glory for the eventual suffering one will face for attaining that much power. Once active, anybody infected with Priscilla’s spores can make use of this effect, including enemies, though their effects are reduced. For the cost of doubling the number of Spore Plague stacks someone has, they can make the cost of techniques they use cheaper. This reduced cost is equal to 10 reiatsu per the original number of spores. (i.e. if a victim had 25 stacks to start with, then they can choose to double this to 50 stacks to reduce the cost of a technique by 250 reiatsu). For enemies, this decrease in reiatsu cost is equal to 5 reiatsu per the original number of spores (i.e. if an enemy had 25 stacks to start with, they can choose to double this to 50 stacks to reduce the cost of a technique by 125 reiatsu). While a strong property, this is not without stipulations. Firstly, this property will always double all current spores, no matter what. If a technique costs 100 reiatsu, and an ally has 100 spores, to cast that technique for free, this will double to 200 spores, making this progressively less beneficial the more stacks that a victim has. Secondly, this will not bypass the stamina drain from using a technique. This drain will still happen, though, instead of being in the form of reiatsu, it will be in the form of Priscilla’s spores eating away at the victim. This stamina drain will remain identical to the amount of reiatsu that would normally be spent. Third, this property, if used in a DE thread, may likely end up killing the user, if used too many times. Saving this for the right moment is crucial if sacrificing your life is not something you find interesting. Fourth, this property cannot be used by those who have 3 or more points in Poison Resistance, as the spores don’t have nearly as easy of a time multiplying. Fifth, this double can only be done once per post. Lastly, this property cannot be used to reduce the cost of releasing, or release techniques. This is strictly for non-release techniques.
Class 2 - Power - Symbiotic Relationship - This property is simply a bonus for allies and Priscilla, acting as a way to neutralize their infections, or can act as a serious debuff for enemies, acting as a way to transfer tremendous amounts of stacks to them. Upon activating this property, Priscilla must choose two targets, or one target and herself. Once the targets have been selected, their infections are synced. Instead of having two separate amounts of stacks, their number of stacks are instead put into a mutual pool. If target A had 5 stacks, and target B had 445 stacks, then their mutual pool has 450 stacks. Upon this pool being created, each target instead gains half of the number of stacks in the pool. If target A & B had a mutual pool of 450 stacks, then target A, in place of their original total of stacks, now has 225 stacks. The same goes for target B. Any time either target would gain a number of stacks, it is instead gained by the mutual pool, and distributed evenly between the two of them. Once this property is deactivated, the mutual pool is removed, and each target keeps the half of the pool they had during the time the property was active. This property can be used to help diminish the effects of having too many stacks for allies, or it can be used to dump significant amounts of stacks onto an enemy. This property costs 200 reiatsu per post to keep it active. If used in conjunction with Strength for Suffering, the mutual pool is doubled, instead of the user’s personal pool of stacks. Only one Symbiotic Relationship can be active at a time. This property cannot affect a non-willing target if they have a class superiority over Priscilla, or a 150% Offensive Stat superiority. A target can remove the effects of this property from themselves by paying 500 reiatsu, deactivating this property.
Class 1 - Soul - Proliferation - This is quite easily Priscilla’s strongest property. As such, there is a cost of 400 reiatsu per post, as well as a cost of spore stacks. When this property is activated, Priscilla must pay 20% of her current total of spore stacks, rounded up per post. When she has less than 75 stacks, this property is automatically deactivated. While this property is activated, the area around Priscilla begins to corrupt with her spores. Any living being without a single stack of her spores will immediately gain 1 stack upon entering a 50 foot radius of Priscilla, and this amount is not reduced through Poison Resistance. Every post where a living being is inside of this Proliferation zone, their total number of stacks are doubled. As a cinematic effect, the area around Priscilla begins to deteriorate, taking on a much more destroyed, plague-ridden appearance. Upon Priscilla moving away from this area, the appearance of the terrain change still persists. Priscilla gains 5 reiatsu for every stack doubled while inside this zone. This means that if a target has 10 stacks upon entering the zone, and this is doubled to 20, Priscilla gains 50 reiatsu before the deduction for keeping the technique active. Due to the nature of the technique, it is quite costly, as it drains her reiatsu, as well as her spore stacks. The reiatsu gained from this property cannot exceed the amount needed to pay the upkeep cost, being 400 reiatsu. Any additional reiatsu created cannot be absorbed.
Vollstandig Divine Form: The Body of a True Plaguespreader
Priscilla’s divine form takes an appearance that could easily be described as “biological mutation”. Her base Vollstandig Divine Form has Priscilla growing one tendril from her back. This tendril appears plant-like in appearance, riddled with thorns. The tendril is ten feet long, 18 inches thick, and originates from her lower back, similarly to where a tail would. This tendril is somewhat prehensile, being able to lift up and crush large objects, but failing when it comes to wrapping around things like a sword. This tendril’s crushing power and strength are equal to Priscilla’s Reiatsu Strength. The tendril, upon making contact with a living being, will infect them with 20 spore stacks, which are reduced by 2 for every point in Poison Resistance, down to a minimum of 10 stacks. While this may not seem like much for a Vollstandig’s Divine Form, there is the ability to gain more from this.
Upon activation of Vollstandig, Priscilla sacrifices all the spore stacks affecting her, or the entirety of a shared pool, if Symbiotic Relationship is active on her at the time. For every 400 stacks sacrificed, another tendril is formed, up to a maximum of 4 tendrils. Every 400 stacks beyond this point increase the thickness of the tendrils by 3 inches, the length by 6 inches, and amount of spore stacks that it can infect a target with by 1.
Vollstandig Divine Power: Spore Detonation
For a cost 800 reiatsu, Priscilla can detonate every spore that is currently in the air within a sphere with a 100 foot radius. Upon activation, every spore currently in the air will be immediately detonated. In turn, they will create an explosion-like force equal to 1% of Priscilla’s reiatsu strength per spore detonated, capping at a maximum of 150%, as the spores quite literally explode. Every spore in the air is eligible for detonation. Spores are roughly 1 centimeter in diameter and remain in the air where they are.
Vollstandig Divine Soul: Culling the Weak
While Priscilla’s Divine Soul is active, an aura with a spherical radius of 50 feet will begin to circulate with her reiatsu, drawing in the spores from those around her, and exchanging said spores for reiatsu. Inside of this area, the effects of Priscilla's Power Property, Spore Plague, are active. Priscilla will begin by drawing in one spore stack from a being within the area, and gaining 10 reiatsu from it. Every post, she can draw in a number of spores equal to the amount she currently has, effectively doubling the amount of spores on her. For every spore stack she draws in, she gains 10 reiatsu from it as those spores are added to her personal pool. While she has access to her Divine Soul, Priscilla gains an immunity to the symptoms of having spores, though having more than 12,000 spores will still kill her in a DE thread, or cause her to lose consciousness in a non-DE thread. For a cost of 100 reiatsu per post, Priscilla can suppress this property, though doing this will cut her current number of spore stacks in half for each post it is suppressed. This property has the same cinematic effects as her Class 1 Soul Property, and remain even if this property is suppressed.
Additional Tools or Techniques:
Technique Name: Blut (“Blood”)
Class: 3
Technique Type: Vandenreich Technique
Usable By: Vandenreich only
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects:
Blut, translated as “blood,” is a powerful technique that is passed down through all pure-blooded Quincies of the Vandenreich Empire. This technique is a gift from the Vandenreich Emperor, and only exists as long as he, or someone of similar power who as assumed his role, is alive. Channeling that leader's power through their very veins, Vandenreich Quincy are able to draw upon it and make use of it either defensively or offensively in combat. This technique is not active by default, however, and a cost must be paid to trigger it.
The first half of this technique is Blut Vein, the defensive half of the ability. Acting similar to an Arrancar's Hierro, Blut Vein allows the user to protect themselves on the skin level, preventing any physical damage to the body as long as the user possesses a superior offensive stat. Unlike Hierro, though, this armor will not degrade over time. However, attacks with impact behind them can still send the user flying, though the bodily damage will be negated. Blut Vein costs 300 Reiatsu per post to keep active.
The other half of the technique is Blut Arterie, which focuses on offensive ability. While this ability is active, the Emperor's power flows through the user's body and soul, doubling either physical or spiritual stats. This takes up one of the user's long-term stat boost slots, and costs 500 Reiatsu per post to keep active. Note that only one of these two techniques can be active at a time; if one is activated, the other is deactivated.
How to use technique:
Spend Reiatsu to draw out the latent power in the user's blood.
Technique Drawbacks:
The first major drawback to Blut Vein is that it can be bypassed in one of three ways. First, if the opponent's offensive stat is higher by even a single point, then Blut Vein is ignored. Second, if the opponent is of a superior Class, then Blut Vein is bypassed. Finally, “final forms” of Release, such as Bankai, can ignore Blut Vein.
Blut Arterie has its own drawbacks as well. When active, Blut Vein is removed, removing the user's defenses. Aside from taking up a stat boost slot, the user is constantly funneling excess energy through their body, which is a tiring effect over time. Finally, while active, the user draws in half as much Reiatsu per post as normal, as they are focused on output more than they are on drawing it in.

Technique Name: Neidisch Schatten [Envious Shade]
Class: 3
Technique Type: Quincy Ginto
Usable By: Quincy (All)
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects:
This Ginto is seen as a fairly direct offensive technique. When activated, it summons a dozen long, blade-tipped tendrils of darkness from a glyph five feet across that forms beneath the victim. These tendrils shoot upwards first at a speed of 400, impaling an unaware enemy. However, even if the foe does dodge, those tendrils can bend at any point once per tendril and stab down towards the enemy again, this time at a speed of 600, creating a rain of bladed edges that can slice apart a foe who is not quick enough to avoid the strike. What makes this technique powerful is its ability to pierce through defenses; any defensive technique used to block this technique, whether skin or summoned, is reduced in effectiveness by 25% against this technique.
How to use technique:
The user speaks the incantation before pouring the Ginto's liquid onto the ground. Upon being absorbed into the earth, the technique forms its signature glyph beneath the victim's feet only a second later.
Technique Drawbacks:
Aside from the Reiatsu cost, Ginto tubes can be somewhat fragile and can be broken before this technique is released. See the actual item for more information. Additionally, this technique cannot pierce through defenses that are one Class or more above it, treating it as a standard clash of offensive stats.
Incantation and Effect:
“O disturbing power now unleashed, mete thy judgment upon the evil before me.” This incantation is required to use the technique, as it channels the liquid Reiatsu within a Ginto tube towards a specific effect.

Technique Name: Heizen (Heat)
Class: 4
Technique Type: Quincy Ginto
Usable By: Quincy (All)
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects:
Heizen is a simple Ginto technique, a basic technique for practitioners among Quincy. By taking one of their silver Ginto tubes and opening it, as well as stating the incantation, the user releases a beam of spiritual energy in a straight line. The attack is roughly a square foot in size, and slices through anything it hits with the power of the user's Reiatsu Strength behind it as though it were a blade. It travels for up to two hundred feet before fading out.
How to use technique (How is it activated?):
Uncap the Ginto Tube and speak the incantation before pointing the open end at the target, releasing the beam.
Technique Drawbacks
Aside from Reiatsu cost, this is a straight-line technique, and can be avoided by predicting the use of the technique from the angle of the tube.
Incantation and Effect:
“Feel the wrath of battle and accept this sacred chalice; Heizen!” As for all Ginto, the incantation is necessary to prime the tube for the specific spell.

Technique Name: Physical Manifestation: Willpower
Class: 3
Technique Type: Other
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects:
Willpower is a technique that is available to most who dwell within the human world, and has a variety of effects that make it a versatile and useful technique. This technique is one that manifests the willpower of the physical body. It essentially causes spirit and physical body to "become one" and merge their powers. There are two uses of it. The first is a non battle use, and is the main use. The main use is simply to know the technique, which slows the aging process of the body and allows the possessor to live easily as long as a Shinigami or Arrancar. This is a will-based technique, however, and thus, if will vanishes, so does its power to stop the aging, which quickly catches up. Mod Souls and Bounts have a minor version of this part at all times, which allows them to age slowly at all times; humans and Quincy learn this version at Class 1.
Willpower has three stages that are associated with it, as listed below:
[Stage One: Cog]: By giving up 100 Reiatsu, the user pumps an explosive amount of intimidating power out. Anyone of inferior class will immediately be intimidated. This does not mean they won't fight. Those who are weak enough in comparison will feel a huge, exaggerated surge of power that will probably make them surrender. This can also be used on Hollows to actually scare them away instead of having to kill them. This does NOT work on animals! It only works on "intelligent beings." This means unless it has a similar to human intelligence, this wont' work on an animal.
[Stage Two: Pulley]: This causes physical output to increase based on draining spiritual energy. It costs 400 reiatsu. When activated, it increases physical stats by 50%. However, it causes the skin to begin to blister from pumped out Reiatsu. Essentially, skin begins to burn. It's a quick burn. Within 5 posts, burning will start to become quite serious. On top of that, statistic gain is lost by the post, starting after the second post of this being active. After that time, 10% of the gain is lost every post. It can only be restored by sacrificing 150 Reiatsu per 10%.
[Stage Three: Gate]: This has no initial cost. Reiatsu strength and Spiritual pressure (but NOT Reiatsu amount) both double. From there, reiatsu output goes up, meaning that costs are also doubled for everything. On top of that, 100 reiatsu is lost per post until this is deactivated.
Drawback: See each individual stage. Atop that, when Willpower is learned, it comes with all three stages, but costs double the TTP to learn. Humans, Mod Souls, Quincy, and Bounts only.

Technique Name: Hirenkyaku
Class: 4
Technique Type: Quincy Technique
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects:
Analogous to the Shinigami Shunpo or the Arrancar Sonído, the Quincy Hirenkyaku allows the user to move quickly over short distances; according to many Quincy, it is faster than flash steps, though a Captain's superior speed in comparison to a Master Quincy's speed suggests that this is just a generalization. Using it in its base form increases speed 10x for a single step, and costs 50 Reiatsu. However, unlike Shunpo and Sonido, this can be used for a constant movement as well. Giving up 400 Reiatsu allows for a constant movement over the duration of one post at 6x speed. Giving up 1000 Reiatsu allows constant movement over the duration of 3 posts of 4x speed.
How to use technique: To perform the technique, the user gathers spiritual particles under their feet and rides them to the desired location. Like the air-walking skill displayed by most Arrancar and Shinigami, it can also be used to hover or fly for long distances.
Drawback: None.
Class: 4
Technique Type: Quincy Technique

Technique Name: Selee Schneide
Class: 7-1
Technique Type: Quincy Art
Usable By: Quincy
Technique Element: Reishi
Technique Description and Effects: Selee Schneide is the pinnacle of a Quincy's ability to absorb Reiatsu. When activated, a medium-length blade of Reiatsu is formed from the hilt. This blade vibrates at very high frequencies, and is capable of loosening the bonds between Spirit Particles, and then stealing the free Spirit Particles.
When the Selee Schneide is activated, it has an offensive stat of 0, regardless of the user. However, it cannot be overpowered by a technique of equal or inferior class, regardless of that technique's offensive stat. Instead, any technique that interacts with Selee Schneide has its offensive stat reduced by 100, and then the Selee Schneide's offensive stat increases by 100. If the Selee Schneide interacts with a Reiatsu based being - such as a Shinigami, Arrancar, Hollow Akki, Rogue or Beast Clan - then the person struck loses 50 Reiatsu, and the Selee Schneide's offensive stat increases by 50. This includes when the Selee Schneide strikes an extension of that being's soul, such as part of their Zanpakuto or Ressurecion.
At any stage, the Selee Schneide can be fired by the user, using their standard bow, as an arrow. This arrow has an offensive stat and speed equal to that of the Selee Schneide at the time of firing.
How to use technique: Hold the Selee Schneide hilt in hand, and pay the appropriate Reiatsu Cost.
Technique Drawbacks: This technique requires the same amount of TTP as a Class 4 technique to learn. The Selee Schneide can only be activated at a Class equal to or lower than the user's. The Selee Schneide can only steal Reiatsu from techniques or beings whose Class is lower to, or equal to, the Class of the Selee Schneide. This technique requires a Selee Schneide hilt (item) to use, and each hilt can only be used once. The costs for activating the Selee Schneide is the same as normal Quincy arrows. It then costs the same amount of Reiatsu per post to maintain it.

-History-
Birthplace: Nuremberg, Germany
Current Residence: Silbern
Memorable Figures:
Magnus Krantz
Amalia Vollbrecht
History:
Priscilla Ilyse Holler was born on July 25th, 1551 in Nuremberg, Germany as an only child. Her parents, Viktor & Natali Holler, both started off as free Quincy, meeting in the line of duty, and eventually settling down to start a family. They eventually decided to have a single child, that child being Priscilla. Priscilla was born into a life of relative poverty, having nothing more than a roof over her head, food every day, and a few pairs of clothes. It was far from an ideal lifestyle, but her family made it work. After all, that much was essential, else they'd eventually be swept away with nothing left.
At the age of 8, Priscilla was far from an average child. She took a serious interest in her parents' abilities, specifically their Quincy heritage. Every time she had asked about this, she was immediately shut down without significant justification. She continued to ask about this, over and over, eventually learning about an apparent tradition within Germany at the time; while sons were trained from the young age of 5 to be a Quincy and use their powers correctly, daughters were not trained until the age of 18. Frustrated with this, Priscilla continued to pester her parents with this until they decided to change their minds. This did not happen, and she was eventually forbid from asking about it again. If she did, then even at the age of 18, she would not learn what her parents knew.
A few months passed, and Priscilla grew accustomed to waking up earlier, as to see her parents return in the morning from the late nights they had spent working to rid Nuremberg of hollows entirely. She remained utterly fascinated with her parents and their capabilities, though continued to keep this a secret. She feared that if she was caught, she'd lose the opportunity to become a Quincy. Eventually, that day came. She was seen through the windows of her house by her parents, and quickly did what she could to hide. This, however, was proven unsuccessful, as her father began to shout at her. That day, her father declared that he wouldn't be the one to teach her how to utilize her abilities, and that if her mother did, he'd leave the two of them. A strong dislike within Priscilla began to grow towards her father.
A year later, three months before Priscilla's 10th birthday, on April 14th, 1561, an event that would change the course of her future from this age occurred. She continued to wake up early every morning like before, though instead of observing her parents, she began to improve herself physically. Every morning, she'd do 10 push-ups, 20 sit-ups, and run outside for 10 minutes straight. While not seeming like much, for a nine-year-old of her stature, this was fairly rigorous for her. On that fateful morning of April 14th, Priscilla noticed something fairly odd with the sky; there was some kind of battle going on! As she looked around, she could see certain neighbors picking up on this as well, but not everybody had seen what was going on. She continued to observe the sky, as various blurs moving through the sky were growing sporadic.
Looking back to her house, Priscilla quickly began to hesitate. She wanted to see what was going on, but was that the best option? Surely her parents would realize where she was, and then she'd probably be forbidden from leaving her home to begin with! No, this wasn't something she could worry about. She felt like it was a duty of hers to investigate, despite being only nine-years-old. She began to sprint towards the center of town, where a few people had gathered. For something so extravagant, not many people were there. She was one of maybe ten others. She continued to glance into the sky, observing the apparent battle at hand.
After a few moments, she quickly realized one of the sides fighting were Quincy! Though they appeared as white blurs, the projectiles they continued to fire confirmed her suspicions. These individuals were certainly Quincy. As she grew more and more enamored with these Quincy, a group of not-so-pleasant men noticed her staring into the sky, completely unaware of her surroundings. They slowly made their way towards her, and eventually grabbed her. With a shriek, Priscilla began to panic and thrash about. What had she done to deserve this? Were did these men come from? What were they going to do to her?
After screaming out quite a few times, one of the white blurs from the sky made their way down to the ground, and quickly put multiple arrows through the heads of each individual harassing the young Priscilla. He turned to her, and smiled. "What's your name?" He asked. She hesitated for a moment, eventually answering the man. "Well, Priscilla, stay here after this resolves," he said to her, "And I'll aid you back to your family. By the way, the name's Magnus Krantz, but you can call me Mag." While she had no idea why, this sentence stung. Perhaps it was because she didn't want to return to her family? She couldn't quite tell, but something about that statement made her sigh. She nodded, and he made his way back into the sky.
She began to think while the battle at hand started to slowly die down. What was that man's name? What was with those clothes he was wearing? Was it a uniform of some kind? It was far from anything that her parents had owned, so these Quincy definitely did not work with her parents. Perhaps they were a group of Quincy stationed here in Nuremberg that helped out around the city? There were way too many questions that needed to be answered. These questions would eventually be answered, but not without the battle overhead ending, first.
Upon the end of the conflict, the same Quincy that Priscilla had met before, as well as someone new had made their way to the ground. The new woman made her way towards the crowd forming, watching the event that had just occurred. "You see?" She said with a smug grin. "Shinigami want nothing more than to exterminate all Quincy. Here you're vulnerable, but in the Silbern you'll be safe from the dangers of this world. The Silbern is a sanctuary for Quincy and is only accessible to the Vandenreich." As she finished speaking, more and more people began making their way towards her and the man standing near her. Magnus began to scan through the crowd, until eventually his vision settled upon the approaching child. "Good to see you again, Priscilla," he said, "This is someone I'd like you to meet." As Magnus held his hand in the woman's direction, she was given the opportunity to introduce herself to the young girl.
Amalia inspected the girl carefully before approaching her. She knelt and gazed into her eyes. "It seems you and Magnus have developed quite the friendship." She reached out and touched her cheek. "You remind me of someone I knew many years ago. How would you like to come to Silbern?" Priscilla tilted her head in confusion. "Silbern?" She asked, "I heard you say that earlier, but what's that?" "Oh, my dear. Living in the Human World has truly deprived you of the wonders of being a Quincy. The Silbern is the home of the Vandenreich and all Quincy. There resides the father of all Quincy, the Emperor. His love is so powerful that it keeps us safe from the outside world, from the Shinigami who wish you harm you."
Priscilla stared at Amalia in awe. A place that is the home of all Quincy? Would she finally be able to learn how to use what powers she knew she had? "Please, take me with you!" Priscilla said cheerfully, "I promise I'll be super duper useful!" All that Magnus could do in response was smile and laugh. "I wouldn't mind looking after her. She'll need a home, after all," Magnus responded, "Granted, that's alright with you, Captain?" Amalia smiled fondly at Priscilla. "You are welcome as long as you agree to become an official member of the Vandenreich." She glanced at Magnus. "Yes, you do that. Be certain to keep me apprised on our newest sister." From this, Priscilla began to nod excitedly. She was more than happy to become a member of the Vandenreich! A new home away from her parents who refused to teach her anything, and a place to make new friends as well? Not agreeing to this would have easily been the worst choice Priscilla could ever make.
From that moment on, Priscilla began to learn how to be a Quincy. With that, came constant, rigorous training. She began her new life alongside Magnus, who eventually became Priscilla's adoptive father. From that point on, he began to look after her, making sure she was training at an intensity appropriate to her capabilities, making sure she was eating enough, and treating her like a daughter. As time went on, she began to develop her abilities, learn how to form a bow, as well as receive a formal education. The Silbern had literally everything she could ever ask for. Since the day she arrived, Priscilla never looked back to the past, and quickly managed to forget about her old life in Nuremberg. Quite a years eventually passed, and eventually Priscilla was older, and much more mature, while still retaining her childlike charm.
As promised, Magnus continued to keep tabs on Priscilla's process, and updated Amalia weekly on how her progress went. As she began to learn the ways of fighting as a Quincy, Priscilla quickly developed a liking towards the various techniques that she had gained access to. These were eventually listed out, and once again given to Amalia. Any time something significant happened with Priscilla's progress, the Captain was updated. This process went on for a fairly long time, until she eventually surpassed Magnus' skill. She then began to train on with him out in the Human World from time to time, getting used to various terrains around the world. Eventually, about thirteen years after their initial meeting, Priscilla's second day of reckoning had arrived.
"Alright, now focus your shot on the targets! Aim for the center, try to get closer to the center this time!" Magnus said, throwing a disc up into the air. The disc was marked like that of a bullseye, and fell at a fairly fast speed. Priscilla formed her bow, and let loose a single arrow, piercing the bullseye and sending it a fair foot or so backward. Upon examination, the arrow hadn't quite hit the center, but was relatively close, resting about an inch away. "Great!" Magnus shouted, smiling towards his daughter, "You're making great progress! Just a bit more and you'll be in the center!" Their practicing went on for a few more moments, before being interrupted by the arrival of unwanted visitors.
Behind Magnus stood a group of three Shinigami, each approaching quickly. Their existence became quickly apparent to Priscilla. "Father, behind you!" She shouted, a hint of fear in her voice. Almost immediately, Magnus turned around, quickly prepped his bow, and jumped back. He began to fire his arrows at an incredibly heightened pace, as to throw them off-guard. Now tasked with both the goal of defending his daughter, as well as fighting off these Shinigami, he turned his head to talk to Priscilla, without actually taking his view off of the Shinigami. Directing her focus towards the men before them, Priscilla realized that one of her father's arrows had actually managed to pierce one of the shinigami in the neck, quickly subduing him.
Two more were left. "Stay back, Cilla," Magnus said, "I'm not about to lose you!" Priscilla didn't take this easily. She stood next to him "Not happening, father! I'm fighting alongside you!" He sighed, and turned to face the shinigami before them. They both lined their bows up on the remaining two shinigami as quickly as possible, but were quickly overwhelmed from their use of Shunpo. One had went to attack Magnus, the other his daughter. Both of them managed to get away with relative ease, though not without taking a small hit each. Magnus' was left with a gash on his left leg, Priscilla with a small cut on her right wrist. This cut would later scar, leaving her with a faded reminder of this horrid day.
Escaping to his left, Magnus unleashed a flurry of arrows upon the Shinigami that tried to strike him down, though unsuccessful due to the use of a simple backstep. Priscilla followed in suit, but also managed to miss her attacks. The enemies before them took advantage of this, and begun to make a counterattack on each of their targets. The man aiming for Priscilla managed to miss, but the man aiming for Magnus managed to land another relatively deep gash in his torso. Upon making his way back, he gripped his side rather tightly, and opened up his coat. On his left rested Steele Schneide hilts, neatly organized. He grabbed one of them, and it quickly began to glow with a light blue aura around it. The weapon had been primed, and was ready to be wielded.
Magnus began to unleash a flurry of well-timed sword swings onto the shinigami he had been fighting, keeping him at bay, while Priscilla's main focus had been avoiding the one after her. At the time, she had no way to actually engage him in melee combat, and, as such, she suffered greatly from the difference in their effective ranges and speed. As she continued to dodge, the shinigami she had been fighting eventually lost interest, and switched his sights toward Magnus. Unable to take on both of them at the same time, Magnus quickly sped up his offensive fighting, pushing himself to his possible limits in order to take down at least one of them as quickly as he could.
In doing so, he did manage to eventually land a single, solid hit against the one he had been fighting. As he continued to fight the Shinigami, his Steele Schneide began to grow in power, until eventually cleaving through the Shinigami's center with ease. Upon routing the first Shinigami, Priscilla watched in horror as the same fate was met by Magnus. While he had been focused on taking one down, he hadn't been paying attention to the other's attempts on his own life. "Father!" Priscilla wailed, quickly making her way towards the bloodshed that was breaking out. In a last attempt to act before his life was forfeit, Magnus threw the charged Schneide towards his daughter, who quickly scooped it from the air. She rushed in towards the shinigami, delivering a series of constant, aggressive, revenge-driven blows. He continued to try to block these hits, until one eventually hit.
Once the first swing had made contact, it was a series of one after another, constantly slashing at the shinigami's sickeningly lifeless body, eviscerating it with the reiatsu arrow until relatively nothing remained. Upon finishing her onslaught, she slammed the blade of the Schneide into the ground, letting it stand tall. She quickly rushed over to Magnus' body, but quickly realized she was too late. He had lost his life a few moments ago, his last sight being the adoptive daughter whom he loved earnestly fighting to avenge his approaching death. When she realized that he was not going to be waking up, Priscilla began to tear up. She stood over her father, holding his body for a few moments, and crying into his chest. Why did this happen? How did this happen? Where they really not careful enough as to mask their reiatsu signature before entering the Human World? These would be questions that she'd ponder later on. Until then, she continued to mourn, and eventually worked up the will to bring her father back to the Silbern.
Upon arriving, she slowly began to make her way towards the last person that had any significance in her life; Amalia. Perhaps she'd know what to do now? Perhaps she'd have a way to fix this? Perhaps she'd have a way to make them pay? As she approached the woman who had gotten her to where she was now, she fell to her knees, gently placing her father's body in front of her. She couldn't even bring herself to lift her eyesight from Magnus. "C-Captain..." Priscilla sobbed, trying to bring herself to continue to speak, but not able to do so. There were so many thoughts running through her head right now, Priscilla needed some form of an outlet to prevent herself from breaking down even further. Perhaps the woman who had been kind to her all these years would be able to help?
As Priscilla made her way into Amalia's chambers, she was busy going through one of her jewelry boxes, holding up a necklace and examining it. She was facing away from the saddened Quincy as she entered. Upon hearing her enter, Amalia smirked deviously. She cleared her expression, and took on a more concerned look. What happened?!" She said. Priscilla kept her head down, with her hands curling into tight fists. "We were ambushed. He tried to protect me, and look where that got him." Upon finishing her statement, Priscilla wiped her eyes, trying to stop herself from crying. She did what she could to calm herself down.
Amalia audibly exhaled in an attempt to express some semblance of grief. As she reached out to stroke Priscilla's head, she couldn't help but let some of her satisfaction leak out with a smile. She quickly recovered, placing her fingers under the young Quincy's chin and raising her head. "Look at me." She said, staring deep into Priscilla's eyes. "Despite the pain and grief you feel, you must use this as a reminder of why you're here. Of why you are who you are. Shinigami and the like will never stop hunting us for they envy the light we emanate from our souls. If you succumb to this moment, you will have allowed them to sever your connection. They will have won."
Priscilla started to ponder on what Amalia had said. She was right, after all. Shinigami wouldn't stop hunting them, no matter what happened. This was just a natural part of life. Still, though, Priscilla had far from resigned herself to this future. "It's not fair," she said, returning Amalia's gaze, "Why must we suffer due to their own bitterness towards us? Why must we put up with such atrocities when we are not doing anything to provoke such unneeded violent behaviors? How is this fair to any of us?"
"Our existence provokes their hatred. Look at us, Priscilla. We have created a realm unreachable by them and we are the children of a God, therefore making us gods ourselves. They were godless, so much so they had to mutilate one of their own and hail it as a false god. There is a lot we have that they envy. And envy always becomes malice if left unchecked. But you're right. We must be ever vigilant and protect our hearts and bodies. You'll soon discover that embracing the values of the Vandenreich can both protect you and your future." Amalia produced a blue flame in the palm of her hand that shined brightly. "You see, I have all the power in the world at my disposal and so can you. Use the gifts bestowed upon you by his Majesty to forge a new world where the threat of Shinigami doesn't exist."
Priscilla nodded as a small smile rose to her face. "A new world where the threat of Shinigami didn't exist". This was a future she was ready for. Not only for herself, but for her fellow members within the Vandenreich. Nobody should have to deal with this constant torment from the threat of an attack due to envy. This was a world Priscilla was going to create, whether she did it through words, or followed the path of conflict to achieve her goals. Either way, she made it a goal in her mind that the Shinigami threat would end. Nothing was going to hold her back from this. Standing up, she gently picked up her father's body, and smiled towards Amalia. "Thank you for that, I needed it. I know where my path to the future lies, now, thanks to you. For that, I owe you my eternal gratitude." "I only ask that you return the favor in friendship and loyalty to the Vandenreich." She said, smiling sweetly.
400 years came and flew by like the blink of an eye. In that time, Priscilla began to master her capabilities as a Quincy, as well as learning new ways to accentuate her capabilities. To honor her father, Priscilla began learning how to use and perfect her capabilities with a Steele Schneide, her father's weapon of choice, next to his bow, of course. Eventually, she unlocked the ability to use her bow to its maximum potential, as well as the ability to use Vollstandig, a form given to her through hard work and dedication to her life as a Vandenreich Quincy. She began to take constant missions, doing everything she could to both aid her new family within the Holy Empire, as well as working to improve her fighting prowess. As time went on, and she began to receive promotions, she eventually made her way up to the position of Captain. As of now, her next main goal is to continue to improve, eventually paving the path to reach the rank of Sternritter I - The Infestation.
