Back into the pool that provided her with safety. Her own little safe haven from the world outside. It was the only safe place for her that gave her some form of leverage in moving around. Plus, it helped to mend her wounds while resting. Plenty of wild moss and greens beneath the surface of the water to help wrap herself in. Closing the lacerations and scars that the fight before gave to her. So, it helped to provide some means in sealing them without the use of modern day medicines. Still, it couldn't ignore the concept of time overall. She wasn't some super apex predator with some super healing abilities. Nope. She would have to rely on her own natural healing capabilities to recover from this point onwards. As if that was an issue. Not many land dwellers were capable of going underwater like she was. Nontheless, she still had to eat something-
Well, looking up at shore there was something brewing up there. Small branches and fern from the trees gathered up, and piled to create a small pit fire. Nothing too gracious or canny, but simple and ready to go. Surprisingly enough that the Tiger on land was actually smart enough for something like that. Intelligent but still a bit wild at the same time. A little contradicting a bit. Still, it did take some focus on her behalf to really find out what was going on. Her tiny head poked out from beneath the settling waves of the lake. Ippin gazed out at the lightened shore beneath the darkening skies overhead. The night was coming soon, and with it the full ferality of the beasts that lingered in it. But none to say that they were not among the sort either. She kept her eyes on the scene of the Tiger, wondering whether or not he will remain.
Bits of meat and entrails skewered from the most recent hunt of the beast. A bountiful feast for one, and a good hold over for a pair. What made her all the worrisome was the fact that the smell of cooking meat would only draw out more beasts to her home. Still, with what little there was to hunt now in days, it proved more and more difficult to really scavenge food. So when Amaru offered the bits of fresh meat, there was little to no reason to decline. Ippin was indeed hungry from the lack of prey being lured to the watering hole. Probably even less with the stench of death lingering over it now thanks to the Tiger. More or less the Cecaelia will have to start relying on the darkness of night to hunt. As she thought before, much of the night brought out the real nature of the wild instincts of the Wilderness inhabitants.
Ippin remained close to the water as she could as she reached out. A single hue magenta stretching out to retrieve the chunks of meat from the Tiger. Slowly. Carefully. There was still some things she didn't know about him, or the intent as to why he remained in her home. Although, the help was appreciated even if not shown clearly. Coming onto land wasn't the best idea she had, especially when still learning how to go about it without hurting herself. It was a learning step for her indeed. And something she had to get use to in some time. But for now, after taking hold of her meal, did she withdraw back into the safety of the water to eat with watchful eyes.
