To put it simply, Senshi found that after a month, it would be better to have Ranth Amanite, her student train in a place other than the wilderness. He was a bit more prepared, bit more experienced, bit stronger than he was before. If she were to gauge his strength in her own personal opinion, he was now about as strong as what an unseated officer SHOULD be in a squad. For his skill level, he would get some better workouts in the human world, where the Hollows were a bit stronger and the environment was a bit more unique. On top of that, she had taught him the airground, and he’d be able to use it here. So, where in the human world were they right now? Well, they were in one of the most famous/infamous places in the world.
She took him to Karakura Town, the greatest spiritual hub in the world. Here, there have been many battles of Soul Society’s past, and it was here that she would continue his training to a greater degree. They stood on the rooftops, and at good timing. He may have noticed, that as she exited, a tattoo was emblazoned on her neck, she’d take the time to explain why as they hopped by from rooftop to rooftop in the broad daylight. “If you’re curious, there’s an inhibitor on me so I don’t harm people. Humans, normal humans are extremely fragile, and if I wash my spiritual pressure on them like I do when releasing my Shikai, they could faint, or worse.” So...there was that, but what would they be doing here exactly?
“I’m going to be heading off to do an errand, check out a few things Ranth. If you need me...well, that’s what the hell butterflies are for. I won’t be far. So, consider this your first actual break day. Feel free to explore around...and if you’re feeling particularly bolder, go after a Hollow maybe.” Like that, she was gone. Odayakama Senshi vanished like the wind in a flashstep, leaving the black haired reaper to his own devices. Though, that left him with a question also. Where was she going exactly? Well, that was easy. She had her own business to attend to, Literally, she ran a lawfirm here, nearby Kasumi’Oji industries, helping the everyday passerby with their cases and such. Weird hobby, but hey, why not? She was studying to be that in life anyways. Not like she had much else to do anyways.
So, like that, Ranth would have to tend to his own devices. Karakura was a pretty big place though, and in this time, he would find out quickly why it was called the spiritual hub of the world. Not ten minutes after his independance, he’d hear a low howl in the distance, a Hollow that was floating, looking like a sac of hot air, lazily floating, looking like a fun thing for target practice. Why Hollow activity was so abnormally high in Karakura was questionable, but it didn’t really matter now did it? Well, the Hollow didn’t seem to notice Ranth in the distance, or if it did, it didn’t pay him any mind at least.
It was bloated, lazy, and frankly mindless as it just wandered around aimlessly with no real motive.
People walked on through the streets, or drove, completely oblivious to the man. He was a literal ghost among people, and his sensei was gone doing whatever the hell she was doing. It was a foreign position most definitely, but he should be able to figure out something right? Well, little did dear Ranth know, that there was going to be a dangerous threat, one that he would likely never dream of meeting in Karakura today. The masked Hollow floating, around thirty, forty some meters in the distance looked reptilian in nature, a tail limply hanging behind it. Well, that was that, a little opportunity for him to expand his culture, seeing things he’s never seen before.
The planes, the cars, the skyscrapers, the people, the birds, the vibrant life, the architecture, and everything. It was all incredibly different from the more old timey Soul Society which lacked all of these things. It was far different than the expansive and primitive Rukongai. It was so clustered compared to the wide expanse of the woods that held countless dangers. It was beautiful to some, but yet incredibly odd to others. The Senkaimon was what allowed them to come here, so, the ultimate question was, what WAS Ranth going to do today? Hopefully not sit around and wait. That would be boring.
