Big and mean, and oh so green, the Hollow let out yet another howl as it's intended meal began to head towards it. While, initially, the stupid creature had been intending to swim out to meet Nesr and Umaroth on their island, it seemed it wasn't going to have to do that at all! Nesr was flying out to meet it! The Hollow howled yet again, slamming on of its lower arms under the surface of the lake as the eagle flew to meet him. When close enough, the Hollow ripped what looked to be a mud dripping rock out of the ground. With a gleeful look in its eyes, the Hollow suddenly threw the rock at Nesr! But it didn't count on her being so much faster than it was, so its throw missed entirely! It was rewarded with being smashed in the face by Nesrs stick, causing it to back up in pain.
The rock, though, soared a pretty good distance. Umaroth stood on his island, arms crossed against his chest as he watched the two go at it. His blue eyes shifted to the oncoming projectile, and in a blur of motion it was suddenly shattered into a million pieces. His tail flicked itself, shaking off the discomfort from the hit. He was more curious in seeing just what Nesr could do. He wasn't telling her something he'd noticed about the Hollow, intending to let this be a learning experience for her. Actually there was a lot he wasn't telling her...but again it was all for the avian Beast to learn and grow. Why did he care? When did he start caring about other Beasts exactly? He didn't know, but why the hell did it matter?
The Hollow rubbed its mask, glaring daggers at Nesr as it retreated from the water it was standing in. Letting out a slobbery howl, the beast jumped backwards, landing a top the tree line...somehow, and beating its chest once more. Sucking its chest in, the Hollow then regurgitated some kind of clear, horrid smelling, liquid right at Nesr. What would happen when she was hit? Well that was the question wasn't it? Umaroth narrowed his eyes as he watched, tail flicking itself anxiously. He wanted to join the fight but restrained himself. This was Nesr's test. Not his chore. He wanted to see just how strong Nesr was.
