Sir Hadrian had been quite the gentleman compared to Amalia and was far better better company in her opinion than her master Amalia. He was comforting and had a sympathetic nature seeing he told her to have faith and that things would get better. "Why thank you. I believe God and lord Jesus Christ will help me so long as I am good and righteous." Ruhe had ate quite a fair bit more than Hadrian seeing she hadn't had anything much for the past few days. She scarcely spent the little money she had and was a bit down on her luck. Sometimes she had received help from charity of others, and she was grateful for that. However, what came next worried her greatly for her well being and Hadrian's.
He gestured a joke to her that could be considered an insult. Amalia had nearly killed Ruhe with gravitational pressure just for the sake of her naivete. She sure hoped the confrontation wouldn't be violent as she was not so secretly scared of Amalia. Ruhe had dropped her knife and fork onto her plate at the moment before quickly picking them back up nervously. Ruhe had tried to compose herself when Hadrian had asked her what she was doing in Cochem. She spoke honestly and truthfully and hoped she wouldn't be called foolish for it. The young girl had cut into her sausage before enjoying a bite of scone. How she loved the food that was presented, especially from the fact it was fresh.
"Well. I had come to Cochem from a few cities up north. I came to Cochem because I was hoping i could come here for knowledge about the Quincy and maybe more on how I could use my powers. My family never taught me anything of the Quincy arts, and I had to learn everything myself. So far, I can make a Hohle Schneide and I had learned how to make my own Quincy bow. I had been planning on trying to gain strength at least enough to defend myself properly. Although, I am curious. You said you were going to help me. Does this mean that you are going to help me train as well?" Ruhe had been curious and inquisitive on why this other Quincy had been here. Was it pure coincidence? "If I may ask, how do you know Master Amalia? Are you two just close friends? Or perhaps more than friends?" She hoped she wouldn't be killed for that.
Ruhe had wondered in the case if he were going to help train her, what she would be training in and how. What could he help her accomplish? She was a young Quincy with little experience and knowledge on how the Quincy powers worked and their functions. She barely understood the ways of the Quincy and most certainly needed work. Young Ruhe had been curious indeed of how Hadrian knew the callous woman Amalia and how they were associated with each other. It was then that she realized he had mentioned soldat. Soldiers? What did this mean? Were they part of the German military? "Soldat? Excuse me, but what do you mean by that? Are you two part of the army or something like that?" It seemed Hadrian would discover that Amalia had not even informed Ruhe of the organization they were both part of, or rather empire. She waited for his reply.
