-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Appearance-
Height/Weight: 6’/170 lb
Physical Description: We’ll start with the head and work down from there. Her head is completely white, with a yellow colored beak. She doesn’t have hair, but the feathers on the back of her head are longer and stick out horizontally. The closer they are to the top of her head, the more they angle up, to look like teased hair on a human. Her eyes are completely golden, no iris’s can be seen. She believes that this makes her more like her god.
On the top of her head is a golden headdress. In the center of this headdress is an amber-colored stone with a smaller obsidian stone underneath it. Coming out from the amber stone is three large, golden strips coming out, with smaller strips coming down from the outer two larger strips. There are smaller pieces coming from those, arranged around her head beautifully. She tries to keep this spotless at all times, but she can only do so much.
From there, the feathers continue to be white going down to her neck, but when they hit her shoulders, they turn brown. The top of her clothing starts with a golden piece of metal that circles around her shoulders, bending down towards the center of her chest to form a symbol. Along this metal piece is more obsidian pieces, as well as white cloth that covers her breasts and goes down to connect with her skirt. There are four extra white strips attached to this metal band that hit her a little below her elbow and have golden rings attached at the end.
Her back is all brown feathers, with her wings jutting out from her shoulder blades, having a wingspan of 20 feet for each wing. Continuing from her shoulders, her arms are covered in brown feathers until they hit her elbow. Her upper arms both have one thick golden band, with obsidian impeded in it. Once they hit her elbow, it changes to lighter brown skin, with a golden bracelet on each wrist and clawed fingertips. The golden bracelet is thinner than the other bracelets she wears.
She also carries a golden rod, part of what she used while she was alive. The staff is almost as tall as she is, shorter than her by three inches. It is ornately crafted and on the top, forms something of a cross. The center of the cross is a circle, made out of the gold to create the cross parts and obsidian. This rod is pretty much the only thing that makes her feel a physical connection of her past life, and therefore tries her best to keep it undamaged.
Following the cloth down to her hips, you will see another golden, metal band around her hips, thicker than the one that was on her shoulders. Here, in the center of the band is another obsidian gem. More white cloth is connected here, forming a skirt that hits her at knee length, edged in gold. An extra piece of white cloth goes down the center of the skirt, hitting the ground, which is also edged in gold. It makes her skirt seem almost like a formal piece of clothing.
Continuing from there, you will see her long, white tail feathers that also reach the ground. The brown feathers continue down her legs until they reach her knees. Once they do that, it changes to the same lighter brown skin as her forearms. The feet are normal raptor feet, with sharp talons, but with the added accessory of having one golden band around each ankle, also with obsidian impeded in it. All the gold she wears does give her some added weight, but not enough to actually hinder her.

-Personality-
Dislikes:
--Bad People. If she watches people and someone does something bad, she will think of something to do to them before they leave the area. Anything from flying past them quickly to ruffle their hair, to actually attacking them like an angry seagull, depending on what they did.
--Heretics. She hates those that disrespect birds or the sky in anyway. To her, it’s complete disrespect towards Horus and she will not tolerate that.
--Storms. Even though Horus is the god of the sky, storms are not his domain. They are the domain of Set. Since Horus beat Set to take his father’s place as ruler of the gods, she will never like storms, screeching at storms that roll by.
--Silver. She doesn’t consider silver to be a pure enough metal. Gold is the only metal for her. Everything else is just second rate in her opinion.
--Other religions. She does know about other religions and have actually studied them a bit in her long life. But, they just don't even compare to what she believes.
Likes:
--Birds. She has always loved birds. They are the physical representation of the god Horus in our world.
--The open sky. She always loved staring in to the sky, wishing to fly. Now that she can, you can’t take the sky from her.
--Wings. She was a faithful follower of Horus. Since gaining her wings, she has thanked the god everyday for the blessing he has bestowed on her.
--Good People. She loves to watch people. Those that she deems are good, she will help them if they need it while she watches them.
--Horus. This is pretty much a given. Horus is pretty much the reason she does everything, so he would look on her with favor. If Horus wasn't in her life, it would probably have ended up much differently than it did.
Flaws:
--Quick to Judge. Once she sees something, she will more than likely immediately act on it. She will never take more than a second to judge, unless it involves something that she considers is connected to Horus.
--Squawking. Some might not think this is a flaw, but she does. She still finds herself squawking a lot when her mind can’t immediately come up with a word she wants to use.
--Illiterate. She has never learned how to read anything but hieroglyphics. So, if someone gives her something written in the modern tongue, she would have no idea what it would say.
--Curiosity. She is not as curious as most. Though, if something catches her interest, she will stare and follow it until she either gets bored or finds something else that catches her interest.
--Proud. She thinks her being an eagle is a divine gift. Because of this fact, she thinks that she is better than others.
Habits:
--Preening. She likes to keep herself clean at all times. So, she will randomly start to clean her feathers and preen if she gets too bored.
--Cleaning her beak. When she’s done preening, she will clean out her beak. She does this by using her clawed fingers to pick out all the nasty stuff in her beak.
--Twitching her head from side to side. She is a bird now. Because of this, she finds herself periodically moving and twitching her head from one side to the other, looking up and down.
--Twirling her staff. She uses the staff while she walks. But, if she gets really bored, you can see her twirl the staff while she walks, or even while she flies.
Fears:
--Having her sky taken away. She is not the one to be caged. She will do anything to keep her freedom and the open sky.
--Dull Claws/Talons. She wouldn’t be a good predator if they were dull. She figures that it would never happen, but she keeps them sharp, so this fear is never realized.
--Perpetual Storms. She had heard in some obscure text that perpetual storms is a sign of the coming of Set and the end of days. Because of this extreme fear, she tries her best to keep an eye on the weather, hoping that this never comes to pass.
--Broken Wings. Her wings are a blessing from Horus himself. If her wings ever got broken or removed, she would rather die.
Goals:
--To be Horus’ right hand. She has always tried her best to live by Horus’ rules. Once she reaches her final resting place, she wishes to have Horus recognize her loyalty and gain that coveted position.
--To fly as high as possible. Ever since getting her wings, she has wanted to fly as high as she can. Eventually, she wants to be able to see continents when she looks down from flying high.
--To meet every breed of bird. She truly believes that Horus lives in all birds. Therefore, it is one of her dreams to meet every bird species, to meet every facet of Horus in this world.
--To learn to read. She wants to be able to learn to read the modern tongue. Once she can read it, it will be much easier to speak it.
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Overall Personality: Nesr isn’t really that much of a complicated woman to understand. The main thing that you need to know is that the god she worshipped while she was alive, Horus, pretty much drives all of her decisions and actions. She tries her best to live in the way she thinks he would like. What this means is that she will try to keep the peace and make sure that, at least to her, everything is the way it should be.
She was completely blessed when she found out that she was a now an eagle, like her god Horus. Because she saw this as a divine blessing, she will think herself above others. The only way that her opinion of someone will change is if they best her in some way. If they don’t, she will continue to boast about how great she is. Well, not really boasting per se, more like telling everyone else how much like a god she is and that they were not as lucky to get blessed as she was.
She also takes great pride in her appearance, trying to make sure that she is clean at all times. She believes herself to be a representative of Horus, so she wants to make sure that she wouldn’t disrespect him by being filthy. It is one of the reasons she cleans herself so frequently and so often. She also tries to keep her clothing and rod as miraculously clean as possible. She can't keep it clean all the time, but she does try her best to keep them clean.
Though, if you are able to show move her down a few pegs, she will actually take the time to look at them in new eyes. She will consider them more of an equal than someone lesser than her. She will more than likely think that this person is also blessed by the divine and try to name what god or goddess must’ve blessed them. Usually, this involves her asking them fairly intimate questions and naming off random things that the other party will probably have no idea about.

-Powers-
Fighting Style:
Her fighting style can vary, depending on how she feels during the fight. She can fight with the staff she carries around with her, bare fisted, in the air and during her release. She is not one to immediately go for a fight, but she will fight if she has to. The most likely way that someone would fight her is either with the staff or in the air. Since she carries the staff around with her everywhere, her first instinct would be to use the staff to attack.
She would try to run up and use the staff. She wouldn’t run into close range. She would use the staff’s reach to her advantage by staying as far away as possible before striking out with her staff. She doesn’t use any fancy movements really. She just runs up, and starts to smash things with the staff, hoping it works. She doesn't really know how to fight, but she has seen enough in her long life to at least put up some kind of offensive strike.
If the staff doesn’t work, she will either try to run in close combat and fight that way, or take to the sky. If she runs in for close combat first, she will use her staff to try to catch her enemies off guard, using it by holding it in the center, striking her opponents with both ends. If that doesn’t work, she always has her clawed hands to help. With her hands, she would more than likely try to slice open her opponent instead of an actual punch.
If she takes to the air, she will first use her staff to attack. She would swoop in from the sky, fly in close and try her best to bash her opponent on a fly by. If she notices that she missed, she will try her best to use her talons while she flies by, at least trying to nick them. If the staff doesn’t work, she’ll put it in a tree and just use her claws/talons/beak to attack her enemy in swooping attacks. It would be the same if she was on the ground and slashing, with the added effect of being able to quickly get out of an attack range with her flight.
Now, when she releases her power, a few things will change. Since her feathers change into hard, blades, she will use her wings more to attack and defend. She could pull a feather or two out and use them as daggers while she comes in to attack someone. She could land on the ground and use one whole wing as a shield against attacks and attack with the other one. It just gives her a lot more versatility when she fights, so she can change between long range and short range quickly.
Yaseishin Name Saishū-tekina Kage (Final Shadow)
Yaseishin Apperance: Saishū-tekina Kage is a Yaseishin that primarily affects the users wings, optimizing them for use in flight, and in combat. The users wings grow by about 50% (meaning, if they were six feet long, they grow to nine feet, etc.), and their shoulders and upper chest become much larger and more powerful as well. Although this does not result in a statistical increase, the vast improvement in muscle mass allows the user to flap their wings with a far higher degree of force, and also has the positive upshot of increasing their arm strength as well.
Additionally, the user’s feathers take on a more angular, blade like appearance, not only on the wings, but across the entire body. Each feather becomes as hard as steel, but remains as light and aerodynamically sound as normal feathers, meaning the user is fully capable of flight in this form. While Saishū-tekina Kage is active, the user is fully capable of weaponizing these feathers, using them to both deflect attacks, and to inflict grievous injuries on the opponent. In particular, the users wings can be used as both shield and sword while in this form.
Yaseishin Overall Ability: As described above, the overall ability of Saishū-tekina Kage is to optimize the user’s wings, both in combat and out of combat. Everything that the ability does revolves around improving the users wings. The first, and most obvious improvement is their size; by making the wings larger and increasing the muscle mass supplying the wings, the user experiences a significant increase in flight ability. The user is capable of flying faster and farther while exerting less energy overall, allowing them to remain airborne longer.
Yaseishin Techniques:
Shadow of Horus
The user’s wings gain offensive and defensive uses because of the blade like properties of the user’s feathers. Each feather has a cutting ability comparable to the users highest Offensive Stat, and enemies must hit the user with a superior Dominant Stat in order to break or damage the feathers. If there is a twenty-five percent Dominant Stat superiority, they will be able to cut clean through her feathers; otherwise it will take a few solid hits to break through her feathers. This affects the feathers across the user’s body, giving them a sort of armor which encourages melee combat. The wings themselves do not have any additional offensive or defensive qualities. As stated above, the feathers weight is unchanged, meaning the user’s speed or agility is not reduced in any meaningful way.
At Class 5, you need 40% stat superiority to cut clean through her feathers.
Blades of Horus
While released, she is able to flap her wings harder and faster, loosening the feathers in her wings. When she does this, she can send the feathers from her wings flying towards whichever direction that she is facing. These feathers retain the properties of Shadow of Horus, meaning that they are essentially a barrage of daggers. While her feathers may retain the durability they possessed in Shadow of Horus, their penetrative strength is reliant on Nesr's strength upon launching them. They fly at a speed equal to half of Nesr's strength.
At Class 5, they fly at a speed equal to 65% of Nesr's strength
Wrath of Horus
The friction from her steel feathers affects the natural down on her body. When needed, she can move her wings enough to catch her down on fire. This spreads to the rest of her body, essentially lighting her entire body on fire. This fire will increase all damage from her attacks and damage if someone touches her. She is immune to the power, but only for two posts. Then, she will feel the effects of the fire herself.
At Class 5, she is immune to the fire for three posts.
Yaseishin Enhancements:
Class 5: Increase Techs from 6 to 5
Class 4: Increase Duration from 3 to 6 posts
Other Techniques: N/A

Memorable Figures: Horus, god of the sky
Her mother, who showed her her true path in life
History:
Her history is a pretty simple one. Xonsu Zalika, as she was known while she was alive, was born to a fairly simple life. Her parents were simple folk. The only real difference between her life and the life of others was that she was considered more high ranked than others only because of her mother. Her mother was a priestess.
But, she wasn’t just any priestess. She was a priestess of the greatest god worshipped by the Ancient Egyptian people, Horus. Xonsu was brought up to be a faithful follower in the Egyptian religion, thanks to her mother. She would travel to the temple with her and watch all that her mother did in honor to the god.
It fascinated her to no end to know that there was someone in the sky, that she couldn’t see, that could do so much to affect a world that she believed he didn’t really need to focus on. Horus, to her, was obviously benevolent being, looking over the Egyptian people and helping them when they need it the most.
She faithfully went with her mother every time she went to the temple, knowing that she wanted to follow in her mother’s footsteps. So, once her mother saw the fervor in her that she herself had, she slowly started to teach her child things about the temple that she would need to know to be of help in a temple, as a priestess or whatever calling Horus would have for her.
This continued all the way up to when she reached her teens. When she was in her teens, the actual age she herself doesn’t remember, she became a priestess for Horus, to the great delight of her mother, who was now the high priestess for the god. Her and her mother were now inseparable, walking to temple every day, speaking of the greatness of their god.
One night, while Xonsu was sleeping, she had a dream. Well, it was really more like a vision. What she saw in the dream was the hieroglyphic depiction of Horus, coming down from the sky and landing in front of Xonsu. He told her that he had plans for her and she was going to be needed for what was about to happen to the Egyptian people.
When she woke up the next morning, she immediately told her mother about the vision. Her mother agreed that it was indeed Horus, granting her this vision as a gift. Her mother was right in choosing her to be a priestess. Beaming with pride at her vision, Xonsu continued in her studies as a priestess.
Once her mother decided to retire, which was only a few years later, Xonsu was already a fairly high ranking priestess and well respected in their order. So, it was no surprise to anyone when her mother named her as the high priestess of their order when she stepped down. She accepted the role and told them she would try her best to do as well as her mother did.
She did very well. She continued what her mother did, and expanded on the same ideas. She would still get visions from Horus, but they were very infrequent. She would always go to her mother for advice on these and then act upon whatever decision she made. But, a year after she received such a high title, her mother and father passed away.
She sadly doesn’t remember their names now, or how they died, but she’s pretty sure that it was due to some kind of fire. When that happened, she moved into the temple and completely devoted her life to Horus. Then, she started to see more of him, him helping her, or at least trying to help her, which she appreciated.
She knew that she could always rely on him from that point on. So, when Ancient Egypt got invaded by one of her enemies, she was ready. Horus had warned about something like this, but she stayed true to her religion. If the other priestesses wanted to leave, they could, but she would stay, praying for the safety of Egypt and for Horus to watch over his people.
A few priestesses fled, but the majority stayed with her to pray. The noise was loud outside when they started to pray. The few priestesses who did try to flee didn’t go very far, they were caught almost immediately outside the doors of the temple. Once the invaders came into the temple, they killed everyone but her.
They were trying to make her afraid, but she would never be afraid in her place. The place that Horus watched over with a keen eye at all times. She knew that they would get repayment for everything that they did here today. So, when they threatened to kill her, she stared them in the eye. “Kill me if you want, I’m not afraid. Horus will smite you for what you’ve done today, mark my words.”
With her strong words, they killed her. She never flinched and smiled while they killed her. Her faith was so strong, she truly believed they would soon get their just desserts. Shortly after they destroyed the temple, they did meet their end. It could’ve been coincidence, but Xonsu knew better. Her spirit was still there.
When she died, she didn’t immediately move on. She was so connected to the place, she stayed there and watched what the men did. She yelled and screamed at them, they never hearing what she said, but she was able to watch them die and knew that her prayer had been answered. Since she had no idea what else to do, she stayed in that spot, until a shinigami appeared.
This person told her that she would be taken to a place in the heavens and she almost jumped on the chance to go there. She believed that she would be closer to Horus, therefore it was an easy thing for her to accept. She did and when she made the journey, she could’ve sworn that she saw Horus opening gates to welcome her home.
When she woke up, she found herself in a new place, but not one she expected. The next thing she found out was amazing. She looked around and she had wings. Actual wings! She was so elated, she called out, but instead of a voice, there was a squawk. She stood up on her feet and looked at herself, noticing that she was in a new place. She had no idea where this place was, but she had ended up in the wilderness of this odd place.
The next thing she found out was amazing. She looked around and she had wings. Actual wings! She was so elated, she called out, but instead of a voice, there was a squawk. She stood up on her feet and looked at herself, noticing that she had become a bird.
She couldn’t have been more blessed than she was now. She was now like Horus, a bird able to fly in the sky with true freedom. She lived this way for many, many years. She did notice, after awhile, that her body was starting to change. She was getting taller, her wings getting bigger and was actually starting to get arms.
After about 2500 years, she was completely changed, now into a bird/human hybrid. When she finished her change, she looked down, happier than before. She felt that she was closer to Horus now more than ever, since he was also a bird/human hybrid. She squawked again, flying through the air. But, she now knew she needed to find some clothing.
She looked around and found a metal smith working with gold. She knew that gold was treasured in her society. She herself used it quite often in her duties as a priestess. She walked up towards the man and when he saw her, he fled screaming. She cocked her head in confusion, but took what she wanted, which is how she has the things she has now.
She took them and found a comfortable spot in the mountains to make a home. Now, with a book in hand, she will fly around Soul Society, trying her best to live the life that Horus would want her to live, while studying all the other birds that she comes in contact with and tries to make sure that all evil people get their justice.
