Thread Title: Lady and the Beast (NDE R) Participants: Zeferoth vs Takara World: Human World Death Setting: Non Death Enabled Rating: R Location: Streets of Karakura Special Conditions: N/A Circumstances: Having no ideas how Zeferoth arrived at the world of the living, Zeferoth wonders aimlessly coming across the noble mod soul woman. No doubt between her up tight nature and his blunt fertility, sparks will fly.
Zeferoth hunted though the wilderness of the soul society in pursuit of some hollows that he had been hunting for the past few hours. He stayed low smelling the ground. He knew that they had been here, but he could also smell that he was not alone in this hunt. He could smell one or two other beings in the area. He assumed that they were two leggers that were also after his prey. He found this to be a pattern. When one of these white beasts appeared too close to the two leggers home, they come out and kill it even if he was already on it.
He continued to move trying to close in on the white beast before the two leggers in black could. After all this was his hunt. He would be the one that will kill them. He quickly made his way through the heavy thicket moving through the trees with little noise. The scent of the white beasts were getting stronger which told Zeferoth that he was getting closer to his prey. He smiled a little as he picked up his pace. He stopped when he caught sight of the hollows.
One of them was a cross between a centipede and and a rhino. It towered about ten feet in length with a body seperated into five segments each two feet long. Each segment had two sets of legs on each one. Near the head, each leg is like a centipede, long and straight ending in a sharp point. These legs went down to the first segment of the middle segment where they then turned into bird like feet with long talons. It's head was that of a rhino with a long horn in the middle of it's nose.
The other one was smaller than it's partner. It had a human like body with most of it's mask taken off. This slightly confused the beast man, but he did not care what was significant about that. He could see however that the two legger white beast had a sword like the black two leggers. Was he one of them? Did his white two legger fight with the black two leggers? It was a bit too much for his simple mind at the moment.
The sound of a twig snapping caught not only the Zeferoth's prey's attention but his as well. He looked over across the thicket and saw a group of the black two leggers with their metal claws drawn. So they were faster than he gave them credit for being. He nestled down in the shadows of the dress and the grass. He decided that he would make the black two legger useful for a change. If they wanted to have at his prey let them. He can swoop in when they are all tired and distracted.
He watched the two groups battling it out for several minutes. Neither side seemed to be really gaining the advantage. Zeferoth was starting to get impatient. It was time that he got in there and did something. He moved quietly from his position and started to make his way around the battle to get at the white beast's back. He waited another moment then darted out at full speed leaping at it from the back and latching onto it with his claws.
The white beast howled in pain as Zeferoth shredded its hide with his sharp claws and teeth. He could taste the blood of the white beast. He did not particularly like the taste of it, but he did not care about it's taste. He was honing his skills and learning to become a better hunter. The white beast could not get to the smaller beast man on it's back. It's limbs were simply not designed to hit anything that was latched on it's back.
Zeferoth decided that it was now time to end the thing's life. He climbed up a little bit on the thing's body so he can reach it's head easier. He stabilized himself on the white beast with his feet and one hand as he slammed his fist against the white beast's head again and again. The white beast shuddered violently with each massive hit, but with each hit it thrashes became weaker and weaker until it fell to the ground and and was still.
Zeferoth wiped his mouth from the blood and looked at the white two legger that was standing among all the dead black two leggers. Zeferoth smiled at that fact. This would would prove to be far more of a challenge than this weak white beast. Zeferoth took another moment to see that the white two legger was wounded. The white two legger clutched his side and blood flowed from it despite his hand. The black two leggers have done their job well.
The white two legger must not have liked his odds of survival. He opened a large hole in the air itself and attempted to run. Not wanting to let his prey get away, Zeferoth perused diving into the black hole after it. Zeferoth kept running straight where he thought that the white two legger had gone. It was pitch black and he could not see where he was going. Soon there was a light and he headed to it. He was ready to finish his fight. What he was not ready for was what he got.
He exited the black hole right behind the white two legger, but instead of jumping and landing on a roof top, Zeferoth tried to stop when he saw the edge of the black hole and lost his balance. He fell a few feet and landed on a metal animal crushing it under him. It wailed in pain. A loud shrieking wail that hurt his ears. He got off the metal animal's back and started beating on the sides and its head. Eventually he managed to get it to stop wailing. It may not have been the white two legger but it was prey none the less.
It was only after Zeferoth killed the metal animal that he noticed that he was not in the wilderness any more. He looked around curiously. It was night now and there were tall buildings all around him like in the two leggers den. He smelled around and his nose was assaulted with horrid smells, good smells, and smells that he did not know how to describe. It was all very new and different for the beast man.
Zeferoth decided to wonder this new place and explore it a bit more. He kept his nose to the black ground, but he kept his other senses out to be sure that none of the native predators thought of him as an easy meal. He saw more of those metal animals, but he figured that they must be asleep since none of them were moving. He decided that it may be best that it stays that way. He made his way through the smaller streets into the larger ones though luckily they were deserted.

Takara moved through the streets of Karakura Town. She had been awake for about two weeks now and in that time a lot had happened all of which just so happened to involve the Shinigami finding her in some way or another. At first Takara had been found by some type of rogue that was either banished from Soul Society for something that he did. Yet at the same time that made little sense due to the fact that the center forty six would normally sentence any type of traitor to prison time within Soul Society. Whatever the case was that was the first Shinigami that Takara had encountered since her awakening.
That Shinigami who had been a rather pain in the backside due to the fact that when he found her he chased after her stating that he wanted to run experiments on her. Takara of course wasn't going to let that happen however at the time she hadn't been able to call on her ability to defend herself. So the only thing hat she had been able to do at the time to survive was run from him. She hadn't been able to lose him though and yet still something very odd had happened that just seemed to be a slap in Soul Society's face and Shinigami all together.
A random young boy Shinigami that just so happened to be blind had been in a near by park that Takara had ran to in order to avoid the Shinigami that was chasing after her. That Shinigami boy happened to be enough to hold off the other Shinigami on the whim on a frightened dog. Well that was what Takara had pretended to be since the boy hadn't been able to see her strange appearance all he had been able to figure out was that there was some sort of dog being chased by a Shinigami who was openly stating he wanted to run experiments on it.
From that point on a battle between the two had ensued and Takara had stayed back observing the fighting styles of them both in case she had to run into them in the future and happened to fight them herself. The young Shinigami boy had a different reiatsu about him that Takara only felt was dark and somewhat evil yet he couldn't control and the strength of it never flexed even during the usage of his techniques. That boy though fought with flexibility and his zanpakuto along with what Takara assumed to be the martial arts focusing on his legs more so then his arms.
The Shinigami that had chased after her though had incredible talent in the art of kido and was able to cast spells that Takara realized she would be powerless to stop at that point. After seeing a few of the spells that the Shinigami could cast Takara ran from the scene making sure that even if the boy Shinigami who was fighting well failed she wouldn't be captured by the other one. So thankfully she got away from there and managed to gather a bit of information that she believed could help her in the future.
After that Takara had been out in the town again during the night just like she was tonight only that night she had found something very interesting along with information that she was both saddened and thankfully to acquire. Takara had ran into a half Mod Soul boy by the name of Jak. The boy had spoken with her and Takara had learned that the boy was half Akki. That gave Takara the idea that perhaps the demonic race could reproduce with any other race in existence since her race was highly unique and there was nothing else like them however it seemed that they had been able to create an offspring.
After speaking with the boy for some time Takara learned that her people weren't completely extinct yet the numbers weren't all that high and actually finding another Mod Soul was very rare. All of that meant that Takara had to gather up her people fast and awaken her ability to call on the Omega Arsenal. So after all of that Takara also was able to find out that the poor boy not only grew up without his father, but that the Shinigami had been able to kill his mother who happened to be the parental Mod Soul.
They had killed his mother and due to that Jak had a hate for them that more then likely rivaled Takara's own hate towards the race that created them only to cast them aside and kill them. The final thing that Takara found out that night from Jak was the ability that he was able to utilize that he stated he inherited from his mother. Takara saw that Jak was able to channel his reiatsu into orange-red orbs of reiatsu that could explode yet somewhat splash over the impact area and burn everything. It was without an ability that could serve her plans well enough in the future that meeting up with Jak again was a definite.
After that Takara had been going around Karakura during the day pretending to be some new type of doll that could move by a controller. Thankfully none of the human even questioned the idea when they saw a strange looking wolf doll walking on the street. One of them even pointed her out and stated openly that the strange scythe like appendage on the side of her head was an antenna for the controller that was actually controlling her movements. It wasn't long until Takara happened to sense the reiatsu of another Shinigami and attempted to make her way from the area in order to evade conflict due to her inability to still call on the Arsenal.
It hadn't worked and the Shinigami had been able to follow her. Thankfully when Takara confronted the Shinigami it turned out to be a very new Shinigami girl that had yet to gather experience. A battle ensued between the two of them to which Takara had to actually fight up close and physically which she wasn't good at. Although thanks to her intelligence she had been able to land a blow on the girl that caused her a decent amount of pain to the point that the girl had vomited. After that though Takara herself had been hit and she too felt pain.
The battle hadn't lasted long and eventually it ended when a Senkaimon gate appeared behind the Shinigami and it was easy to tell that there was a Shinigami on the other side of the gate flexing their reiatsu as a sign to have the Shinigami girl fall back to Soul Society. She had obeyed the order and left Takara going back to Soul Society. As she was leaving though the girl had made sure to tell Takara that neither of them had won the encounter yet next time she was going to beat her. Takara had made her first move against Soul Society by stating to the girl to tell the Captain Commander that she was still alive.
So this brought Takara to this night while se was walking through the streets still in her doll form. She was walking down the middle of a street late at night when no one was around and she could breathe easy. That was when a garganta suddenly opened up and a hollow rushed out from it. The hollow looked scared like something had been hunting it. That was when something else fell from the garganta and landed on a car breaking it and causing the alarm to go off. Takara saw the hollow on top of a building and suddenly activated her ability to call on the Omega Arsenal.
Suddenly a shuriken materialized next to her head on the right side. Takara took a moment to aim and then launched the shuriken towards the hollow. Whatever else fell from the garganta was attacking the car until the alarm stopped. As that happened though the shuriken moved upwards and took the hollow by surprise making contact with the middle of it's mask. The result was the head of the beast being split in two and the body starting to vanish. Takara turned and looked towards what appeared to be a large beast. Takara then realized that his was a beast clan creature from Soul Society. "Get out of here filthy creature."
Zeferoth suddenly smelled something different. He had gotten the smell of humans memorized in his mind, but this scent was different from a human. He didn't know what it was, but he knew that it was close. He lifted his head up looking around in the direction that of the scent. He cautiously made his way in that direction scanning the area with his orange eyes to be sure that nothing was going to attack him while he was investigating.
What Zeferoth came across was not some sort of human or creature that he was expecting at all. It was a small dog like animal. He looked down still towering over it even on all fours. He bent down to get a better smell and look at the thing. The material of the fur and everything else was what he was smelling. It did not smell like flesh at all. He did not really have time to think about it. The little creature spoke to him telling to get out of there.
Zeferoth was used to getting that from the two leggers back at the two legger's den by the wilderness. He knew that he was not particularly liked around there, but he thought that one that at least resembled him would be a little more accepting of him. Not like he was looking for that to began with. He did find it amusing that something so small thought that it could tell him what to do. He glared at her and growled slightly.
"You not one to command me little one." he said with a slight smile on his face. He backed off slightly still interested in the odd creature before him. She wasn't like anything that he had seen while he was alive or in the soul society. Did this mean that she was not one of the white beasts? She did not smell like it. Was she an animal from a far off land? No he did not think so either. He smelled the skins used by the two leggers and she smells closer to those than flesh and bone. I curious, what are you?" He said in is low growling voice.

Takara watched as the beast noticed her and began to move towards her. It was obvious that this beast had no clue where it was due to the fact that it was looking round the area with a puzzled expression across its face. At the same time though Takara could understand why the beast would be confused at seeing such a thing. The beasts of Soul Society lived outside of structured society and in the wilds that weren't claimed by the Shinigami and spirits. Instead they were like animals that lived off the land and naturally throughout their life as a spirit. Along with decreased intelligence for those that were human a beast wouldn't understand where it was in such an area as Karakura Town.
That was when the beast actually spoke surprising Takara slightly that the thing could formula words let alone a practical sentence or statement. Takara around this time also noticed that by the body structure of the beast it was definitely a male due to the large upper body along with the shoulders and bone ridge characteristics. She also easily heard the sound of the beast growling at her after she spoke and came to the conclusion that not only could this beast speak somewhat it actually understood what she had said. However, at the same time it seemed that logically thinking was beyond this beast.
When the beast spoke stating that Takara was not someone to command him the Mod Soul's expression shifted from neutral to one that gave off a questioning aura of status. The beast began to back off somewhat and look over her. Takara could hear the sound of air moving in and out of the beasts nostrils and along with that knew that he was more then likely smelling her scent in order to try and figure out what exactly she was. The beast knew nothing of what Soul Society had done so they would have no knowledge of a Mod Soul existence.
Takara smelled the beast and only found things that she had come to the conclusion of already through her logical thinking. Based off of the beast's scent it was definitely a male and the scent of hollow blood along with some Shinigami was on the beast. That helped Takara put together a picture of what had been going on prior to the beast following the hollow through its garganta and ending up here in Karakura Town. Takara only hoped that the Shinigami that had either been battling with this beast or the hollow had been killed.
That was when the beast asked what she was and Takara just glanced upwards at him her gaze one of authority and genuine honesty. "It doesn't matter what I am beast. What matters is I'm not someone to speak to in such a inappropriate manner. You don't know who I am or where you are so it might be best for you to just run away with that tail of yours between your legs. The Shinigami and hollow might not have hurt you, but I'm not weak like either of them or you. Leave this place that is my last warning." Takara was about five feet away right now from the beast and was watching carefully for any sign of movement while keeping her head and eyes forwards starring into the orange eyes of the beast. Thankfully due to her acting skill the beast wouldn't be able to tell that Takara was watching his body while starring at him.
Leave this place that is my last warning." The semi amused expression on Zeferot's face faded to a glare as he straightened up.
"I grow angry of you. Leave me be weakling." He said in a growling voice. He turned his back to the small creature no longer interested in her. He saw no reason to fight her. She did not smell edible in the slightest, so it would have been a waste of energy for him to fighter her here. There were many more things that prodded at his mind demanding his attention. He could find some food else where, and something that will not annoy him as much.

Standing there on all four legs of the doll form that she was currently inhabiting until Takara got her hands on some sort of other body that could hold her form, the Mod Soul watched as the beast's expression seemed to shift to annoyance. It was then that the beast stated that he had grown angry with her and the merger creature sought to state that she was the weakling out of the two of them. Such a statement of false lies along with disrespect was one that Takara would have to correct the beast on however it seemed that his lesser intelligence would only respond to force something that Takara could now actually utilize.
She had only yesterday reawakened her ability to call upon the Omega Arsenal and so it was time for her plans to begin and everything to be set in motion. While this beast didn't play a part in the slightest to that plan it wouldn't be harmful for Takara to practice and gain some more experience in combat. While she knew her ability was next to unopposed her intelligence also made sure that underestimating foes while allowing yourself to become dull were what got many of the previously powerful to crumble. Takara would never crumble she would forever remain as the ruler of the Mod Soul race.
Suddenly Takara activated her programmed ability as a Mod Soul to call on the Omega Arsenal. While the beast had its back turned a normal shuriken seemed to appear from nothingness right on the left side of Takara's face. The shuriken was average size for a throwing weapon while having straight pointed tips that would definitely stab into something if contact was confirmed. It was then that Takara took aim measuring in a moment the distance between her and the beast while staying focused on the beasts body and his limbs in order to play attention to his movements and evasion patterns. The shuriken would suddenly move through the air at an incredible speed carrying with it more force then many would imagine possible for such a small weapon.
(OCC: Level 2 has been activated so the shuriken is moving at 400 speed and has 400 force with it.)

Zeferoth was struck with the shuriken hard. Zeferoth had sensed it and started to move, but he was only able to move so that the shuriken hit his shoulder. Zeferoth turned quickly glaring at the small creature. Feral fury filled his eyes. The time for talk was now over. He roared loudly and charged the smaller creature head on. He wanted to tear it apart with his claws. He wanted to spill her insides onto the ground.
Once he was able to get close enough, Zeferoth slashed at the creature with his left hand. He would aim for her midsection treating her like he would any other prey item. He would then fallow up with a right slash, but due to the injury that he had already sustained, it would move at a slower pace. If he was still in close range with her, he would then try to clamp his powerful jaws around any part of her he can reach tearing a large chunk out of her.

Takara watched as the shuriken that she had materialized soared through the air at a speed that even her with her incredible instincts and sight couldn't really keep up with tracking her own weapon. That was when she witnessed the movement of the beast and saw that it was able to evade slightly. This meant that the beast wasn't going to be an easy target when it was actually paying attention. Takara had just attacked it while it wasn't looking so now that it was turning around and roaring at her she knew that it wasn't going to hold back and if she messed up the doll form that she was inhabiting would be destroyed.
As the beast rushed forwards Takara came to the decision that even though her shuriken had hit the shoulder of the beast due to his obviously tough skin and size it had done little to actually hurt it. Takara couldn't see the wound now though due to it being on the beasts back and it was rushing towards her now. What the beast might not realize right now though was that the shuriken that had embedded into its shoulder suddenly vanished leaving the wound open for blood to flow out. The beast was obviously going to be something that Takara would need a larger weapon against in order to claim victory.
The beast was charging right at her head on so obviously the thing wasn't thinking like an intelligent individual meant for combat. This thing was after all a beast and as such the prospect of it thinking during combat was one that didn't give much sorrow. However, Takara was never one to underestimate her foes for it wasn't always the strongest who took the role of the survivor or the victor. That's simply why Takara was both of them and nothing would ever cause her to be defeated to any other entity. This beast was charging her and more then likely planned on slashing at her doll for with it's long arms and sharp claws.
The method of attack was easy to determine and while Takara believed that perhaps she could eradicate this beast here and now and be done with it there was never a chance like this presented to her to gather information on beasts through experience. She was going to need all the information she could get on the inhabitants of Soul Society prior to her actions of invasion and the beasts were something that she knew very little of. Now as the beast got to her and swung towards her with its massive arm Takara called on her ability once more and a large gold club appeared in the path of attack.
That golden club suddenly met the swing of the beast and kept its arm at bay. Takara was mentally controlling it thanks to the fact that it was only about a foot away from the left side of her head. She still couldn't control them up to a distance all that well, but the fact that she could control them at all was more then enough to deal with the majority of entities. So right now there was a loud thud and the beast would feel that the club had stopped its swing yet then there was a crack and the club was beginning to budge. Takara took notice swiftly sneering at the fact that one of her beautiful weapons had been damaged by the brute strength of such a creature.
Takara began to move backwards slightly yet knew that if the beast could crack her weapon then it's swing was going to keep coming and she more then likely wasn't going to be able to get away. That's why right as the club began to really give way and get thrown away to the side Takara concentrated and two kunai materialized in front of her now that she was about two feet back from where the beast had hit her club. The kunai suddenly rushed forwards right towards the thighs of the beast. Takara planned on making it so movement was more difficult for this creature by inflicting somewhat deep wounds on its legs. The only bad thing was that club although it had been damaged was now gone it simply vanished due to being out of her control now.
{OCC: The club while it was controlled had 200 strength so you're swing caused it to crack and she couldn't push back against it. The kunai being sent towards you are moving at 400 speed/force.}
A large club materialized between her and his arm. It managed to stop his swing, but almost instantly buckled. He was able to throw it aside. He didn't smile at the sight of her puny weapon proving no match to his strength, he didn't seem to even acknowledge the thing was even there to began with. He was focused on her. He was in his kill mode. He would focus on his target, as long as it takes to take it down. It was very rare that he went into such a state.
He saw that she materialized two more of those stabbing weapons. He growled and just as they were released, he jumped clear over them getting ready to slam the ground with his feet and fists. His feet will hit first of course causing the street under him to buckle and crack from the force. He would then slam both fists at her. Regardless if they hit or missed, they would have spit the road where they impacted like his fist did.

Takara activating the link to the Omega Arsenal materialized two kunai and watched as they soared straight forwards through the air towards the beast that was pretty much right in front of her. Surprisingly the beast had more speed then Takara would have assumed something that she made a point to not do further. Based on how fast the beast had managed to jump upwards in order to evade her kunai Takara assessed his speed to be rather high. As the beast began to fall downwards Takara knew that it would be upon her in just a moment ready to rip her doll body apart if it got the chance.
Jumping to the side Takara made it just out of range of the danger zone from the beast's downward assault. When he smashed the ground with his feet and hands Takara could tell once again that it was obvious his strength was stronger then the force she could manipulate her weaponry with at the moment. She was only about three feet away from the beast and as he hit the pavement of the street and caused it to break Takara took her chance as he was bent over. Suddenly two spears materialized above Takara and then were fired forwards on point to pierce deep into the shoulders of the beast.

Once Zeferoth landed on the ground, he was already moving to close the gap once again and try to attack the smaller form. He saw her form two spears pointing straight at him. He was moving in a circular path, so he was able to dodge at least one of them. He came in as they were being launched. Thanks to his circular movement, he was able to avoid the one aiming at his right shoulder with only a graze. It still stung when it cut his flesh, but he was able to ignore it.
The second one however he was not so lucky. The other one, which would have gone for his other shoulder, now was aimed for his chest. Zeferoth swiped at the spear deflecting it, as well as taking the brunt of the damage in his arm. He growled feeling the warm blood flow down his arm. This was taking too much time and energy. He could not be wasting all his energy against this creature. He would have to live to fight another day.
Zeferoth looked down and saw a man hole cover knocked up from the fighting. He had an idea. He picked it up with his good hand and threw it as hard as he could at the stuffed animal. It would fly at the speed of his strength as he made a bee line for the lines of metal animals. He might as well use them to protect himself against her stinging weapons. He hated to run away from a fight, but he knew better than to fight a battle he can't win.

Keeping in the stationary position while the spears were materialized onto the physical plain of existence Takara watched as the beast landed on the ground a few feet in front of her. She was quite surprised though to see that the beast took notice of her weaponry and began to move around towards her in a circular motion. Takara immediately took notice of the beasts plan. It was obvious that the thing was going to keep moving in that manner so that hitting him would be more difficult while he moved closer to her in order to get an attack in.
Such an obvious plot of strategy wouldn't work on Takara as she launched her spears towards the beast and saw that it was in deed about to avoid death it wasn't fast enough to evade full contact. That first spear had cut the beast and Takara could easily see the blood flowing out of his body. The second spear though it was most interesting to see what occurred. The beast attacked the spear in mid flight just prior to making contact with his chest. The result was heavy damage to the beasts arm yet the spear was broken and vanished.
Takara was prepared to summon additional weaponry knowing that the beast wouldn't bleed out from these wounds in time for it to pose no threat to her if it got close enough. It seemed though that while the beats was physically strong enough to break her weaponry it wasn't fast enough to reach her or durable enough to take the actual force of her weaponry and be unharmed. The next thing that Takara saw was the beast bend over and picked up a man hole cover. Instantly Takara summoned a lance next to her and took aim launching the lance through the air.
In the next moment the lance and the man hole cover clashed in the air as the beast was running for the cars. There was a large clash of metal resulting in a loud sound and sparks that flew off. The man hole cover broke apart while the lance was heavily cracked and then vanished. Takara looked around afterwards knowing that the beast was in the area still and was obviously using the cars to hide from sight. As she sensed its reiatsu though she noticed it was moving away from her and that it was in fear.
Takara turned around and began to make her way in the other direction. There was no reason to track the beast and kill it herself. She had injured the creature enough that it was afraid of her and knew it couldn't obtain victory. Now with its injury it would more then likely be defeated and killed by a hollow or Shinigami rather then find its way back to Soul Society. There was no reason to find it for all it could do now was keep attention off of her for just a bit longer while she regained her power. All in all tonight had been a good one to practice her abilities.
