Ajraka paused as he stopped her, her attention shifting over her shoulder as she looked up at the male in response to his question. She took a brief moment, nervously looking at him before a sheepish smile splayed across her lips, her head canting slightly to the side as she rubbed at the back of her neck and gave a shrug of her shoulders. He'd noticed? Well she supposed she was a bit too used to dealing with the tamed, individuals who no longer had instincts like them. She was not used to being so easily read. Well, then again she always did have issues bothering to conceal them.
She took a moment to consider before she rubbed at her chin. How to explain? she nodded toward the small spires, indicating the few who were on guard. "Pack." She explained, as it would be the closest association, a soft yip and a pleased groan, expressing her fondness for her crew off in the distance. Then she nodded toward him, looking him up and down, giving him an incredulous look briefly, indicating that it would be how her crew saw him. A layman's way of explaining that she'd need to explain why he was going to be with them now.
Of course she didn't know how to convey just how...complicated the situation would be, her brows furrowing as she herself tried to think of how it was she'd play it off. IT wasn't that they would question her. No they would do as she said. It was just that regardless of their compliance there were likely to be rumors. He didn't seem at all like family, and he didn't seem thin or weak enough to be considered someone she took in to care for. More likely than not they'd find some other assumption, whch eventually would need to be dealt with.
He watched her, eyes studying her with an unblinking gaze. He was doing everything he could to understand what she was saying, mind running at full power to process her words and body signals. Once was all said and done he looked up, gaze shifting to the spires in the distance. She would watch as his eyes narrowed, lips curling slightly before he snapped his jaw. He grumbled, sort of a small growl honestly, before returning his look to Ajraka. He raised his right arm, placing a fist against his chest then reaching over and placing it against hers. If people were watching they might think what he was doing was indecent, putting his hand upon a ladies chest, but to him such concepts did not exist. The creature was walking around naked for example, though his genitalia was safely hidden inside his body due to his crocodilian nature.
"You....lead...I...chase"
He repeated the phrase he said before, the touching of his chest and then hers mirroring what she had done before. It was him showing that he still intended to respect the bond between them, though it also meant something else. He would only follow her. He did not swear his fealty to anyone else but Ajraka. Nobody else in her crew would have say over him. Of course, this would probably be problematic and need to be dealt with when a obvious situation would arise. An unruly newcomer on the ship who only obeyed the captain, none of the other higher ranking members, would cause some problems. Though the way the reptile was right now it should have been expected.
"P-pack....strong?"
A question directed to her, though his gaze had risen to the spires once more. If Ajraka was the leader of this pack, then she must have trained them right? Him belonging to a strong pack meant safety, along with a possibility for him to test whatever it was his new leader would tech him. He lowered his gaze back down, sounds coming out of his mouth. Suddenly he looked angry, incredibly angry. His eyes narrowed at Ajraka, the feathers on his head slowly standing up, though not at the level as when they had "fought". He growled, shaking his head to the side and snorting. Between the growls he made noises, obvious that he was trying to talk again.
The reptile was irritated greatly at his inability to speak properly. He knew a good number of words, but less than half of those had any meaning. He was trying to say something, trying to figure the word out. Frustrated at his inability to converse properly he snapped his jaws, narrowing his eyes at the ground. Then it hit him, he figured out the word. He looked back up at Ajraka, his feathers lowering back down as he calmed down. He snapped his jaws a few times, motioning his head to the spires behind her.
"He...helel...helloh...pack."
He was trying to say hello. He was trying to say he was ready to meet her pack. He motioned his head again to the spires, reinforcing this statement. He was a bit more anxious than her it seemed. If Ajraka led a strong pack then he was confident he too would be strong. He wanted to see, to test himself against, how strong her pack was. A slight grumble escaped his throat, as his gaze on her softened. He was ready to go and get this over with. Though, he really had no idea what he was getting into. But, for now, he had some form of trust in his new leader. Enough trust in her to follow her.

She paused, tilting her head slightly and smiling as he placed his head on her chest, no doubt getting a little of that oil along his palm as she took a moment to appreciate his expression. She could tell he was a bit frustrated, but the gesture was, if anything, very endearing even as he went on to express his willingness to chase her, something that made her smirk just a bit more, very pleased at that. And what more could she ask of him? That he should follow her and be ready to meet with her crew? He reminded her that such over-thinking was unnecessary. She would deal with such conflicts when and if they arose. Otherwise there was little reason to worry herself over it.
With a nod of her head she patted the hand that was pressed over her chest before she lightly brushed her cheek along his forearm, leaving a little trail of oil as she then turned about and then stepped back, leaning against him as she placed herself in as comforting a position as possible, a firm hold on his wrist as she hoped to try and stem his reaction from what would soon happen, and also... placing herself between him and the spires. So that if he went for her ship, he'd have to go through her. In any case with the preparation complete, she gave a sharp, piercing whistle that echoed outward.
For a few moments there was no response. To any onlooker it would have seemed to be completely ineffectual, though she knew otherwise. IT took her crew at least a few moments to head into the ship. And as she knew it would, after a few moments, the ground around those spires heaved upward as her ship emerged from the ground with a thunderous roar of sound, the fact that they were in such an isolated area of the rukongai greatly keeping the whole noise to as little consequence as possible as the ship burst free and then settled upon the ground it had been dug into, giving exposure to it's entire length, being a solid 100 meters in length and twenty meters in width, it was quite large. Then again, it WAS a ship.
She would immediately put a hand on Uma's chest, as she knew that he would either be terrified or in awe, hopefully not enough to make him try to attack the thing as she would lean up and attempt to get his attention, patting at his chest and arms to keep him focused on her as she repeated the phrase. "Mine." In reference to the ship, hoping that he would recognize it as......technically a member of her pack now that she thought about it. It was alive after all, and when she did take the time to spend time tending to it, it certainly seemed quite pleasant. IF he seemed to take it's appearance well, she would attempt to hold his hand and bring him over to the ship, which over time she'd come to consider naming, though presently had not come about to a reasonable one.
Once they were close enough, provided he was over the shock, she would whistle a bit softer, bringing the ship's attention to the pair of them and she would try to get Uma to come forth and place his hand on the thing's lower jaw, a spot the ship very much enjoyed being patted. She wondered if it could even feel it, but she had never gotten into it too much. The main goal, in any case, was to try and get Umaroth as comfortable with the ship as possible before going inside and introducing him to the crew that had been left with guard duty.
The sensation of being touched was different, enough so that it caused a flurry of different emotions in the reptile. On one hand he didn't like it, wanting her to get off of him. After the thrashing she had given him beneath the lake and upon the shore, he no longer wanted her to touch him. His shoulder still stung slightly from where she was bitten him in revenge for his own attack on her. But on the other end, there was a pleasing sensation to it. It was comforting, relaxing even to be touched. Her fur was soft against his scales, and he was surprised to find he didn't quite mind having her oil on his scales. When she had brushed her cheek against his forearm the reptile had just stood there, looking at her in and taking it in.
Was this what being in a pack was going to be? Touched all the time? Or was this something exclusive to him and the female he followed? Regardless, Umaroth felt it was something he was going to have to get used to. Thankfully, it wasn't so bad. It made him feel...wanted or something like that. He looked down at her as she rested her back against his chest, gripping onto his wrist rather tightly. Umaroth blinked, studying her and trying to figure out what exactly was going on. Weren't they going to go meet the rest of her pack? Why was she relaxing against him now? Did he say something that she liked? Being around others was too confusing.
She suddenly whistled, loud enough it made the reptile wince and turn his head slightly to one side. What was it now? The sudden tremors though caught the reptile off guard, causing him to let out a surprised hiss as what Ajraka called began to move. He witnessed the spires in the distance heave, reaching higher into the sky as what they were attached to freed itself from the earth, letting out a massive sound as it did so. The reptile panicked, the feathers on his head standing right up as he also roared at it, an incredible wave of panic coursed through his body.
His instincts demanded he run, to flee and return to that lake. It wanted him to return to that unchanging world of normality. What was it that he was looking at? It appeared as if it were some giant, monstrous, serpent that seemed to lack anything besides a body and a mouth. The reptiles eyes were wide, feathers stuck straight up, as a steady growl escaped from his throat. Every instinct he had demanded he flee, demanded that he hide, but for some reason he stood his ground. He was paralyzed? No, it was something else. Something was supporting him.
He hadn't noticed it at first due to the shock, but his mind began to pick up on a steady patting against his body. The creatures lips lowered across his teeth as he looked down, finally noticing Ajraka patting him and looking right up at him. She kept repeating the same phrase, trying to convey its meaning to Umaroth. He blinked, his eyes studying her and coming to the realization. He looked back up hurriedly, not wanting to keep his eyes off of that creature. If something of that size and magnitude belonged to Ajraka, the same Ajraka that was trying to console Umaroth, exactly how powerful was she? What had he gotten himself into?
His hand tucked tightly between her fingers he was lead closer to the ship. His heart raced and feral mind in the middle of its own hurricane, Umaroth simply walked behind her. He was in awe, both of shock and slight fear. He had seen what this little creature had done to him underwater, but now she presented a creature this massive as her own? What, exactly, was standing in front of the reptile? A sudden whistle caught his attention, which was then taken as he watched that colossi suddenly bring itself closer to the two.
Umaroth jumped back, trying to snatch his away from Ajrakas grip but found that she had him rather clamped down. Was she going to feed him to it? No, instead she brought the reptile right up next to the thing and gently placed his hand against its skin. Of course he fought against her, finding this whole thing a bit too much at the moment. But his hand pressed against the creature, finding that it had a feeling unlike anything he had touched before, and discovering it did not attack them at all, made the reptile blink. Feathers lowered as he looked up at its maw, a slight growl in his throat as he looked at his own hand, plus the one holding onto his. His gaze followed the hand to Ajrakas eyes, him looking at her. His breathing was calming down as he returned looking at what he was touching.

He had reacted about as well as she might have hoped him to. The fact that he hadn't .....well, immediately, attempted to bolt was good on it's own even if the alternative was him roaring at it like somehow that was going to help things. Instincts she supposed, the urge to try and intimidate a larger foe in order to save one's self. Of course the ship did little to acknowledge him during his little fit, simply remaining in it's restful state of laziness as it awaited command, feeling refreshed after it's brief nap in the ground. No doubt the somewhat more rough dirt of the soul society was making it a bit anxious, it would likely be in a better mood once they returned to Hueco Mundo.
She knew he was wigging out and she nestled into him in an attempt to stave off this anxiety, which seemed to be working actually, much to her own satisfaction. It would certainly make things a bit easier in the future, knowing that he calmed down a little in response to her attentions. Of course she didn't know the repercussions of doing it consistently, if he grew a bit too used to touching her or something. not that she minded, but she'd likely need to work on his ability to speak as well, so that later on down the line she could calm him down with words as well. Of course, she'd also have to find a way for him to get along with the crew as well, but, alas, a bridge to worry about when she got to it.
Once she managed to get him close enough to put his hand on the thing, the large beast lightly tilted it's head, making a very soft, deep crooning noise as Ajraka finally got Uma's hand on it. She was still waiting for him to calm his little ass down, which would likely take a bit, but at that point he did seem to be getting it together, looking at her in what she assumed to be confusion. Well she could only expect so much she supposed. Once he had been acquainted with the ship a little she directed him to it's neck, where a ladder of sorts was formed in the grooves of it's body, nodding upward as she immediately launched herself up, snagging one of the ridges and climbing toward the port on the middle of it's side, pausing halfway there to look down at Umaroth.
It occurred to her that, at some point he would get better. He was already showing great signs of learning and certainly he seemed eager to learn from her and grow stronger from it. It was a very pleasant idea, to be with him and grow stronger, watching him become more articulate, more verbal, more used to her perhaps. She smiled a little at the thought and waited for him to follow her into the prt up above, a thin membrane which slid open as she ran her palm across a soft node of nerves. The port would slide open and let the pair of them minto the ship.
The inside was just as big as the outside in some respects, though for now, she put off giving him the grand tour. At the moment she was to get him to her quarters and let him get some rest, as well as get the medic to tend to him. He could meet the crew later of course, and get him a bit more...familiar to the extent that they would be able to start talking to him. As she remembered, it was simply a matter of exposure. Once he was around the crew long enough while exposed to the language, he'd pick up. Of course, he'd probably pick up their shanty dialect as opposed to the more refined kuchiki mannerism she herself had developed when she was learning to speak, but that was hardly a worry.
He followed silently, keeping an eye on the large creature as they moved past its mouth and towards what seemed to be a neck. Umaroth blinked when he suddenly saw Ajraka bolt upwards along the side of its neck along some odd pattern of indents along its skin. He watched Ajrakas ascent, leaving him at the bottom, eyes landing on her well developed butt, a sight that gave him an odd feeling, for a moment before lowering to her feet before she reached her destination, looking down at him. Waiting for him. He blinked. Was he supposed to mimic her? Umaroth looked up at her, a look of confusion in his eye as he rested his gaze on the thing she had used to climb up the massive creatures body. He snapped his jaws, approaching it and placing a clawed hand on the inside of one of the grooves.
He tilted his head, putting some pressure on his hand and noticing that if he were to grab into it he had some sort of hold on it. Umarothh grumbled, looking up and buckling his legs in. He launched himself upwards, in an attempt to mimic the female before him, only to learn the hard way that some things just couldn't be mimicked. His grip on the ladder wasn't steady, so when he began to go back down due to gravity he lost his grip, landing on his back with an audible gasp. He growled, shaking his head clear of some dust as he stood back up and leaped again, trying to dig his claws into the Gilliaship only to find its body too hard. So he fell again, though on his legs this time.
He growled, looking up at Ajraka with what could be best described as a look of embarrassment. His face felt red and an odd pressure was building in his stomach, plus he had the sudden urge to hit something. He lowered his gaze to the side, grumbling out sounds under his breath for a few moments, crouched down there at the bottom of the Gilliaship. It took him only a few moments to regain himself, before he decided to not to simply try and jump for it this time. He raised his head, looking at the groves in the creatures skin and doing his best to remember the way Ajraka had done it.
He narrowed his eyes, reaching forward and putting his hand in the grove again. He fiddled around with grabbing onto it, slowly figuring out how it was supposed to work. He tilted his head, adjusting himself so his arm supported his weight a bit. He blinked, looking upwards along the ladder and snarling. He stood up, reaching upwards and hooking one of his hands into a ledge. He began to pull himself up, using purely his arm strength. Well, he was almost getting it. He climbed maybe four or five of the ladders grooves before he began to slip again, causing him to panic and suddenly chomp down on the edge closest to his face. It helped, for the moment, as he began to kick his feet wildly for something to stand on.
He was a swimmer, damn it, not a climber. He feared falling on his butt again, for if he did slip he might very well simply go back to his lake, unable to stand the humiliation anymore. As he kicked though one of his feet got hooked into one of the ledges...and suddenly he stopped. Ajraka would get to watch as Umaroth just hung there, staring into the Gilliaships skin, putting and releasing weight on his single foot. It was like watching a child figure out a puzzle. He slowly put his foot one ledge higher than the other, reached up to grab ahold of another, and slowly began to climb his way up. It had taken him around six minutes, but he had figured out how to use a ladder.
He made his way up to the port where Ajraka stood, pulling himself up at last. He remained crouched down, looking away from her. He still looked horribly embarrassed over that little show, his eyes narrowed and lip twitching. If he could blush he would be. He did watch, however, as Ajraka opened up a passage into the creature. Umaroth was hesitant to follow, but quickly got back up and descended into the ship with her. He blinked, clicking his tongue a little as he raised his head and looked around. The interior was as big as it was on the outside.
".....b-big..."
Was this what the inside of all animals looked like? Umaroth was in awe, his bright blue eyes looking all the over the place. A world he had never seen before. He would follow behind Ajraka, turning his head from left to right as he took it all in. Was this going to be his new home? Inside of some giant beast? It would be safe in here, wouldn't it? Would he get stronger here? Only time would tell. He turned his gaze back to Ajraka, grumbling slightly as he followed after her.

Ajraka giggled at his words, finding them slightly adorable what with how impressed he was. That uppity attitude of his seeming to fade as he was, apparently, greatly humbled by the very sight of her ship. Well it would certainly serve them well. For the time being it might even make things easy. A smile found it's way to her lips as she leaned in and gently hooked an arm around his waist, an approving smile given to the tall male as she began to lead him toward her cabin. Thankfully most of the crew would be down in the lower decks, so there wouldn't be anyone to encounter on the way.
Along the way, he'd see a variety of features from the membrane-covered portholes and a number of other areas. Food storage, barracks, and of course the organs which were along the ceiling, fused into the membrane so as not to be in the way, varely even visible unless one stared up at them while in there. The place itself hardly felt organic. It was not very squishy, as most of the innards were inside membranes, and technically they were not inside the body. Much like the digestive tract, the inhabitable areas were not considered inside the body, but raher it was simply like a hole in a doughnut, even though you could pass through it, you never actually penetrate the dough.
Glancing up at Uma, she wondered how long it would be until he was settled enough for them to begin their training. Of course there was mroe than just physical training, if he was to become truly stronger he would need to train his mind as well. And the fastest way for that was to simply be social with the intelligent. Memories of talking with her elders at the Kuchiki manor were not her fondest, but she knew that they were definitely the reason she was able to progress from simple berzerjer-style combat. Of course there was only so much that she could have retained in, what now at least, seemed like such a short time.
Leaning up, she lightly pushed her snout to the side of his neck to get his attention, hoping to get a sense of where he was at the moment. Wether he was still in general shock or if he was begining to adjust. In either cse, they soon came to the Captain's quarters. The door was mae of a hard shutter similar to a door, ad with a flex of her spiritual pressure, the door itself slid open, revealing her rather luxurious living quarters to the reptile. The large bed, numerous little treasures crafted from the quartz trees in hueco mundo, and of course the massive quartz map that was in the center of it all, dim and unglowing. It was what was used in hueco mundo to navigate. Once they returned there, it would light back up.
Turning her attention beck to him she smiled, releasing his waist if he allowed her to, and making her way over to one of the couches, bending over to retrieve soa bit of preserved fish, giving him a nice look before plopping herself down and relaxing, looking to him as she did as she hoped to convey that this was a safe place for him to rest and relax whilst she took a bite of the fish.. For now she decided she would keep him here. First thing would be to warn and inform the crew. If any of them started a fight off the bat he could begin to distrust the whole lot of them. If he initiated the fight first of course they could oblige, as it was possible that Umaroth would use sparring to aquaint himself. But bin any case she would instruct the crew how to receive him, and to ensure that he was to be a part of their little nautical family .It would take a little work but... she felt confident it would be managed.
A smirk found it's way to the Kuchiki's lips as she reclined on the couch, relaxing finally as she felt she had things all planned out, letting her mind come to rest as she folded one leg over the other and lounged in the couch, and for the moment, she simply watched Umaroth through half-lidded eyes, yawning a little as she put a hand on her chest, and then gestured to the room. "Home."

The inside of the massive creature was not something Umaroth expected. Giving the room they were in a number of look overs he began to notice things as he gave them his attention. Along the walls of the cabin were slight transparent doors, made from some sort of fleshy substance like the one they had used to enter the behemoth to begin with. As the two continued their tour e couldn't help but look up, his eyes resting on a series of odd shapes hidden away behind a membrane. He didn't know it, exactly, but he was looking at the organs of the beast. It was still alive, after all, so it still needed its organs.
He was lead through the ship by Ajraka, a arm wrapped around his waist to guide and push him. She must have known that he would have begun to wander, to go through those odd doors and inspect the rest of the ship. He still had not seen another of her pack besides the behemoth outside and was beginning to wonder if maybe this pack was only comprised of the otter herself and the ship. But wait, Umaroth could smell something. He smelt sweat and other scents that did not quite belong to Ajraka. There were others, but they just were not here.
Umaroths attention was quickly pulled back to Ajraka when he felt something wet and cold stick itself into the side of his neck. The reptile turned his head downwards to hers. Bright blue eyes locked on her for a moment, expecting her to say something or do something. When nothing came his attention returned to looking at the ship. His walking stopped when they stood in front of another door, although this one was different from the others.
The door opened within a moment, with no clear handling by either of them. The reptile lacked any sort of energy sensing abilities, so he had not felt Ajrakas reiatsu being used to open the door. He stepped inside after her, taking a good look at the room they were in. It was different from the rest of the ship, far more...personalized than the cabin they had just been in. Treasures of an unknown substance, to him, were scattered amongst the room. A large bed at one end, but he barely gave that any of his attention. Beds were foreign to the creature that had slept in the past by digging himself in the mud underwater.
Ajraka left him, moving to a piece of furniture and placing herself upon it. He watched as Ajraka bent herself over to grab a snack, displaying her well defined posterior to the reptile. His eyes did rest on it for a moment, a heat building in him for a moment. The reptile remained where he stood, intense eyes pulling away from Ajrakas butt as he scanned around the room. A yawn from her pulled his attention back to her before she gave a motion with her arm. She said a single word, one that Umaroth recognized. Home.
"..Home?..Home...dry.."
He commented, though not meant as an insult. He was simply used to living underwater. The sound of his nails clicking on the hard floor as he began to move through her room, though not towards her. The reptile stopped along a collection of her quartz treasures, eyes locked on them one at a time as he inspected them. He had never seen a material such as this before, nowhere in the depths of his lake or the village on the shore. They were pleasant to look at, and for a brief moment he wondered if that young child would have enjoyed having something like this. He only spent a few moments looking at Ajrakas collection before he moved on, tail dragging against the floor.
He stopped at the center piece of her room, the quartz map. The reptiles eyes locked hard on it, dancing across the surface as his feral brain not only took an interest in the detailed symbols, but also began to drink them in. For Umaroth, learning was like a drug. He wanted to learn, to improve, so seeing something so...confusing and interesting as this was bound to interest him. Of course he had no idea what it was he was looking at, only seeing patterns and symbols and treating them like the pictures in a child's book.
He only gave her bed a fleeting glance, not too interested in it. He knew what they were, having seen them in the homes of spirits many years ago. Long before his time in the lake, actually. He remembered breaking into the homes of spirits to acquire food. It wasn't a set of fond memories, as back then Umaroth had been filled with fear and anger. But for him, who had become so used to the chill of the lake and the feeling of mud, a bed was something foreign to him. Also there was another problem, one that he himself didn't quite realize. Umaroth was spiky. Try putting something that covered in sharp edges on top of a mattress, see how long it lasts.
He spent a good few minutes inspecting her room, becoming comfortable as he searched it. His gaze returned to Ajraka, noticing how she seemed have become relaxed. Umaroth turned his gaze away, having inspected her room and seen what he wanted to see. He clicked his teeth a few times as he struggled to find the right words.
"Home...fun..?" No, that wasn't quite it. He was trying to say her home had some interesting things. "Pack...hiding...why?"

Of course she noticed his motions, his body orienting as if to start wandering off during their trek. She was glad she'd held onto him at the least. So once they were inside, she simply watched him, save for when she was retrieving her snack. Though when she'd turned she did spot him giving her rear a look, causing her ears to flick upward, pausing briefly as a smirk played across her muzzle. Well wasn't that cute. She kept a mental note as she ate her fish and watched him rummage about.
As he explored her cabin, she was more or less observant, noticing his fiery curiosity, and the way his eyes hungrily ate in his surroundings, those brilliant amber hues of hers fixated on him as he explored and prodded about. It reminded her so evry much of her own hunger for knowledge, she'd all but wrecked the Kuchiki library when she'd first found it and all but begged an elder to teach her to read. She wasn't the fastest of readers, but she knew how at least. she might even teach him the skill if he had a want for it.
When at last he seemed to finish his survey and he responded to her query. He seemed to be enjoying himself, and his next question caused her to pause before that smile curled further into a pleased grin, lips peeling back to show her teeth as she giggled and shook her head. "Not hiding. Hunting." She explained, as he would understand that. No doubt he would have left his home at plenty of times in order to attain food and the like. As at a boy his size, he hardly would have been sustaining himself from that little lake. Then again there had still been fish in it. Perhaps he understood enough that if he ate all of them at once he would eventually starve? Perhaps he was smarter than she thought.
Though that wasn't all that was interesting, the look she'd caught earlier was something that pleased her and getting up, she walked across the room, knowing he would be watching her as she bent over the desk of hers, grabbing at a small quartz object, a trinket really, and once more giving him a look at the soft flesh of her plush posterior. Though of course rather than standing back up, she instead rolled over onto her side, glancing over her shoulder with a smirk. Hopefully, catching him on another one of his peeks, and if so, giving him an amused grin as well as a nod. "Like?"

So they were out collecting food? The word hunting was one that Umaroth recognized, having learned it during one of the young humans many talking sessions. If Ajraka lead a pack big enough to inhabit this entire behemoth then they were going to need plenty of food, enough to feed both themselves and the creature. Umaroth couldn't help but wonder where they were going to find some much food and how long it was going to take them. Regardless, he had his answer. For now it was just him and Ajraka.
The sound of her rising quickly captured his attention, head turning towards her as she approached a table. The reptile blinked, curious to what she was up to. Those bright blue eyes of his locked on her as she bent herself over the table, reaching for one of those oddities that filled her room. Of course, Umaroths eyes couldn't help but take a peak at the defined butt. Something inside him drew his eyes to it, causing an odd heat to build up in his face. He didn't understand what was wrong with him right now. His eyes returned upwards.
He blinked, though, when Ajraka turned onto her side and looked at him. A smirk painted itself across her face followed by an amused grin. She had caught him peaking, something that caused embarrassment for the creature. He turned his gaze away, grumbling slightly to himself. He then heard her question and he gave Ajraka a sideways glance. Did he like it? Was she asking if he liked to look? Umaroth himself didn't even know. He felt...odd when he looked at her rump but he wasn't one hundred percent sure it was a feeling he quite enjoyed. It was hard to explain.
"...yes..."
He grumbled out his answer, crossing his arms as he did so. If the reptile could blush he would be, but thankfully his scales didn't quite work like that. Umaroth had been alone for a long time, secluded from the world beneath his lake. He avoided others in order to survive, to not be chased again and driven from his home. He didn't quite understand the heat that was building, and truly wanted to get rid of it somehow. But, perhaps this heat was...normal? Maybe it was just something he had to experience along his path of growth. Regardless, he was an honest beast and he did trust his new leader.

Ajraka's brows lifted slightly at the embarrassed response, her head tilting curiously as she wondered just how used to humans he was. Nervousness? That was all human crap. She saw how humans did it. The embarrassment was from being brought up that such things were private, that there was anything to be ashamed of. That such acts were uncivilized. And yet here he was with that sort of thing in him? It seemed terribly unusual to her, perhaps his kind were not as feral as her own? She herself had never had such embarrassments, and even the elder Kuchiki s attempts at instilling a sense of shame in her had been more or less fruitless. That this male had it naturally was cute to her, and rather silly.
"You aught to know." She chuckled in response to his confusion at what should have come naturally to him. She got up, giving her back a little arch and her tail a slight raise, giving quite the view as she raised herself up and made her way over to him, moving in close enough that he would be able to smell her, a scent that would do more than her words could to express her own interest. Assuming his nose (or perhaps his tongue if that was his olfactory organ) were attuned to such a scent.
Her own curiosity was beginning to come into play as she, quite frankly, was begining to wonder just how human her beastclan brethren were. The others she'd met seemed normal in her mind, except for their unusual concept of what a family was, and something about love. A silly little thing she'd had males whisper to her in secrecy before they gave her shiny things. Whatever it was, it sounded stupid. And here again something she would expect from a human came from one of her own. Was it they or she who were the abnormal? Was it perhaps that otters were more detatched from humanity than the other clans? She certainly was beginning to wonder at this point.
Though for now she had him to focus on as she leaned against him, lightly backing her rear into him as she mulled over his question as to wether it was bad or good. Another silly question that she wasn't quite sure where it came from. She had lived in isolation, admittedly in more of a nomadic sense than his apparent fixation on that particular lake. Was it really such a difference? Given his isolation she would think him the more feral of the two, and yet it seemed to hardly be true. Taking his hands, she placed them firmly on her hips as she deemed it necessary to reply. "Do you think it's good?" Came her coy reply.
She wasn't sure why he was the way he was, it wasn't her business. It was her business to teach him. And she supposed that eventually, she would get around to it. But for now she had her own urges to deal with and for now that meant pressing the matter of Umaroth's fixation on her rump.
His nervousness had stemmed from a few factors. Firstly was the fact he was out of his element. He had been pulled from the normality of his underwater world and thrust into this. Things had just been rather overwhelming today. Secondly, there was the fact that this was Ajraka, the same Ajraka who had early today destroyed his confidence and pride. He had believed himself to be powerful, to be able to defeat anything that had intruded into his waters. But today he had been proven wrong. This female had defeated and dominated him. She had caused him to feel something he hadn't felt in a long time. Fear.
That was what had caused Umaroths hesitation. He still feared Ajraka, enough so that it caused him to halt a natural instinct of his. But, despite his own attempts to pause she had kept going. She displayed more of herself for Umaroth, backing her rump into him. Umaroth felt hot, the feathers on the back of his neck beginning to rise up in excitement. Those instincts, those urges, were rising up and no amount of fear was going to hold them down if they reached a certain point. But what it was that had finally pushed Umaroth over the edge was not her words, but rather her scent.
One of his hands released itself from her hip while the other tightened its grip. Ajraka would notice his grip was firm, yet nothing she herself couldn't break free from. She had displayed earlier in the day that her own strength dominated his own at this time. His other hand placed itself on top of her chest, pushing her against his body rather forcefully. His snout found its way into her neck followed by him breathing in deeply. Her scent. Good lord her scent. He could feel her fur and skin against his head, the odor her body let off had pushed past any sort of human intelligence he had. He allowed his instincts to just take over.
He bit into her neck, but nowhere near as hard as he did beneath the lake. Sharp teeth pinched and pulled against her skin, as a rumbling growl escaped his throat yet could be felt from within his chest. Every time he breathed in more of Ajrakas smell filled his brain pushing his urges even further than before. The feathers on his head had stood straight up, his pupils having become incredibly narrow and far more feral like. He had essentially reverted to the same reptile she had met below the lake, but with something in mind besides territorial combat. He pulled against Ajrakas skin with his teeth, letting go when those instincts inside him told him too.
The hand against her chest was not simply there to hold her, though. He dragged his claws against her skin as he continued to give her neck his attention. There wasn't much on her chest to play with though, but his claws did scrap against those little things she did have. The hand on her waist pulled her against his own, instinctively lining the two up for what was coming soon. Umaroth was excited, his head was hot, and he could feel something coming. A part of him that hadn't been excited in a long time. It wasn't quite ready yet, but within just a few more moments it would be. It did all depend on whether or not Ajraka wanted Umaroth to continue or not.

Ajraka would have been lying if she said that this wasn't something she'd been planning since seeing the lug. He was wall, dark, and vicious. His feathers were absolutely gorgeous and he was quite a bit bigger than her, which went a long way in her book. Sure he'd attacked her on sight, but throughout her entire life that was not a terribly rare occurrence so she hardly held it against him. As he took a hold of her hip whilst his other clawed hand moved to her chest she did absolutely nothing to hide the smug look of satisfaction on her face at getting what she wanted.
Him. And really she was conveniently dressed for the occassion. A Ragged sash comprised of cloths scavenged and woven into a skirt-like shroud about her waist with nothing beneath to obstruct, as well as a short mantle which comprised the only untattered cloth aboard the ship, reaching to her midback and serving again as a semblance of a top. There was very little in the reptile's way, or more specifically: In her way.
As his teeth sank into her shoulder in a gentle love bite she lightly raised her tail, a pleased look flashing over her features as slowly those brilliant amber eyes of hers narrowed, hardening into twin stones befitting the color as her tail wrapped around Umaroth's torso, rolling over his shoulder before winding around and along his back before wrenching him from her back and slamming him into the ground viciously, a rather....interesting look on the otteress's face as she followed after him.
Before the reptile would likely be able to react she would be on him, those curled claws of hers digging into his scales as she seemed to have every intent of drawing blood from him as they ran along his arms and the pirate leaned in, a soft croon escaping her lips as she ran her muzzle along the underside of his and planted herself in his lap as she asserted just what sort of ordeal this was going to be if it were to progress. A vicious, violent, and rather bloody mating. Any semblance of coyness out the window as she grinned wickedly down at him, giving him full view of her pointed teeth.
Heat was one thing that the reptile felt. The warmth that filled his body was unreal. It was more intense than his own anger, something that had surprised the beast. But he didn't actually have any time to think nor did he any space in his mind to put such thoughts. His entirety was focused on the otter. All of his focus was on her; on her scent, on her taste, how she felt against his scales. His tongue rubbed itself against the bits of her shoulder he pulled with his teeth, reintroducing her to his taste buds. It was different this time. Her taste lacked the meat and blood that had been in his mouth an hour or two before. Her skin, her fur, and her oil were the only things that his tongue received. And Umaroth had to admit...she tasted good.
He continued to gnaw her neck, the side of his face rubbing against her fur. The oils contained within her fur smeared slightly against his face, leaving a few wet smears across his face. Umaroth felt her tail beginning to wrap itself around his body. Around the torso and down the back, Umaroth was too preoccupied with neck play to notice that she was entangling him. All of a sudden he was ripped away from her, pulled to the floor by her tail before Ajraka herself was atop him. It was like déjà, the same sort of scenario the two had found themselves in only a few hours earlier. Though, this time the emotions between the two were much different.
Umaroth growled as he felt sharp claws digging into his scaled arms, pulled downwards along their lengths with what seemed to be the intention of drawing blood. As Ajraka nuzzled her own muzzle beneath his, the reptile returned the favor by rubbing his jaw against the side of her face. He could still feel her claws in his arms, plus the bite that she had given him earlier in the day. The grin she was giving him plus the look in her eyes was all Umaroth needed for him to know exactly how this was going to go. There was only one logical answer, the one that his instincts demanded. He wanted her.
The reptile pushed against her arms, sitting up and wrapping both his arms around her body. One clawed hand placed itself between her shoulders, while the other dug itself into her waist. The reptile then pressed his forehead against hers, rubbing his snout along both her own nose and her lips. Those blue eyes of his stared intently into her own amber ones, pupils narrowed down into predatory slits. The edges of his own lips seemed to be pulled back as well, forming a smirk instead of his typical scowl. Umaroth didn't have the words to say it but he was giving consent. He wanted this. He wanted her. His body demanded it. His instincts demanded it. Right now he didn't care how badly his body was torn up; he needed to satisfy his urges. He was tough, he could endure it.
His clawed hands dug themselves into her skin, the one on her back dragged down her spine. His claws pressed through her fur into her skin, threatening to penetrate as they made their way down her back and around her shoulder blade. The little piece of clothing she wore upon her body managed to block his progress, so he did the only sensible thing. There was a clear ripping sound as Umaroth simply tore through it. He didn't quite know that clothes could simply be taken off, resorting to the brute force method. Umaroth rubbed his snout along the side of her face and down her neck, resting itself where neck met torso. It was clear he was smelling her, as the sounds of his inhales were loud and clear. He opened his mouth, beginning to chew on Ajrakas skin once again. Though, he was a tad bit rougher this time.
The hand on her waist did not simply sit still either, rather it would find its way to her closest thigh and give it a clawed squeeze. He only needed a little more time. Just a couple more minutes until he was ready. He could feel it coming, that body part hidden inside his body for safety. Umaroth could feel the muscles in his cloaca beginning to move. They were getting ready to discharge that certain body part, only needing a few more moments to be ready.
