Aurora Guerrero now ended up in the Human World. It wasn't the first time she's been here, but it was the first where the Garganta the Tercera Espada made for her spit her out into a green area. While the Garganta was closing, she looked around and sniffed in the air. She immediately loved the area. She liked finally being in a green area, where she felt something other than sand under her feet. She just took a moment to stand and enjoy the fresh breeze while feeling the soft grass under her toes. She took a deep breath.
She growled low in her throat, actually enjoying it here. She now knew why hollows always wanted to venture out into the Human World. There was so much more warmth here, which was different from the warmth of her prey's blood on her mouth and fingers. This warmth felt like it filled up her entire body and she would lose it if she left this place. But, while she was breathing in the air, she caught the scent of a hollow. It was when she caught that scent that she felt the hunger rise up in her.
It would be her first hollow hunt in the Human World and she was going to enjoy every minute of it. Thankfully, the hollow was in the park, not that far away. So, she ran as quickly as she could, and finally caught up to it. She hid in the shadows and before it could turn around, her zanpaktou was unsheathed and she was running towards the hollow. It tried to run, but she but she cut off both of its legs before it could get away. She started to quickly devour those. After she was done eating its legs, she turned and noticed that it tried to get away from her.
It was the funniest thing to her that hollows in this position would still try to run away. She walked up behind it and then chopped its arms off. It screamed and tried to still get away. She knew it wasn't going to get too far, so she started to eat its arms. By the time she was done with the arms, the hollow was cringing, ready to just be done with it. She turned towards it, mouth bloody from eating its limbs. "Oh you stupid prey. You're not going to get out that easily. I have to finish my meal first. I only had half."
Her eyes glowed and she laughed evilly as she started to butcher what was left of the hollow's body. She took her time, loving every minute of it. The hollow would scream but she didn't care. She was enjoying her meal and her hunger was finally getting satisfied. When all that was left was a head, she stabbed it with her zanpaktou, letting the hollow finally pass on. She then found a pond nearby to clean herself up. She didn't need to smell like her prey. It wouldn't do well for her or whatever was hunting for her.
The new head of the Kawada household smiled. It was not a very nice smile either. It was not the kind of smile that suggested she had just won something, or experienced undue amounts of luck. It wasn't even the kind of smile that suggested she knew a secret that you don't. It was a cruel smile; the violence wasn't so much implied as shoved down your throat. But it wasn't unhappy; there was a cool happiness there, as if she was only engaging in such abject cruelty because there was nothing on T.V. For a brief second, the smile tightened.
"No, no, that will never do!" Her voice was incredulous as it rang out in the clearing. Katrina insisted on perfection; even her smile had to portray the exact amounts of arrogance, cruelty, and strength. She wouldn't accept anything else. After all, the head of the Kawada household must be an example to the low-born. So when her scouting team decided to break for the time, she seized the opportunity to practice "the smile". It was a smile she's seen her cousins perform countless times.
She stood, then, over a small hollow in the trunk of its tree. Rainwater collected there, forming a perfect, mirror-like puddle. The Shinigami sighed, and her reflection copied her. Sapphire eyes examined her reflection carefully, looking for any sign of the little imperfections that tend to mar skin. But - as far as she could tell - she was perfect. Sapphire eyes, with just the slightest tilt to suggest Asian ancestry, were framed by pin straight locks of black hair. Flawless skin was matched by full, pink lips and even ears that ended in just the slightest point. A face that was, for the lack of a better word, cute.
'Perhaps that's my problem ... Kenryoku-Chan and Shade-chan already looked scary when they face 'that smile' ... perhaps I should get a scar or two ..." But the idea appalled her. To let anyone strike her, even with her permission, would be tantamount to giving them control of the Kawada! And she had no desire for self-harm either. A sky escaped her again. 'I suppose I'll have to live with it .... and beat the insolence out of anyone who sneers at me. Which is nearly everyone.'
As she came back to herself, she noticed something was ... off. She listened closely, her head cocked to one side as she tried to listen to the ... wrongness in what she was hearing. Or rather, what she wasn't. 'Where did all the birds go ... ?' It seemed that while she had been roaming the admittedly convoluted halls of her own mind, something had scared the birds off ... and her teammates with them. A loud swore escaped her lips, sounding rather odd coming from the child like voice of the Kawada.
But before she could make a move to follow her teammates (or perhaps the birds, she never did play well with others) there was a ... a something on the edge of her consciousness. 'How did that ridiculous human world movie put it? Ah, yes ... 'a disturbance in the Force.' A disturbance, indeed. And it was coming from right behind her. Quickly she turned, but whatever she had expected to see, it wasn't this. She blinked once; then, for good measure, she blinked again.
'... is she ... doing what I think she's doing ... ?' On closer inspection, it was obvious the girl consuming the (rather appropriately) terrified hollow was an Arrancar, which at least made a fair amount of sense compared to the conclusions that can be drawn were she a human. But still ... A sigh, the third in as many minutes, left her, which caused her to frown. 'I really must stop this sighing business. I do not wish for it to became a habit. But where was I ... ? Ah, yes ....'
In a single, fluid movement, her Zanpakutou was unsheathed, the steel ringing the meadow, the final consumption bringing silence. "You." Her voice rang out, authoritative despite the childlike sound of it. For a split second, it would appear as if the tree spoke, hidden as she was beneath its shadow. But then she stepped forth into the sun. Oddly enough, in the golden haori and tight fitting leotard, she was very visible when she wanted to be. The golden blade was pointed straight at the Arrancar, the eyes of the Shinigami narrowed suitably so as to appear distressed. "Leave this realm and never return. You creatures are not allowed to step foot on the mortal plane." Her voice rang out again. Despite her small frame, she made a striking figure. 'There. That sounded suitably antagonistic and rude. Even the lauded patience of the Demon himself wouldn't be able to withstand such an insult.' Personally, she was pleased with herself.

Aurora had made it to the pond and started to wash her hands and face. She always made sure that she cleaned the blood off of her after all of her meals. She prided herself upon it. She took her time cleaning herself. She had to make sure that every speck of blood was off of her so she could move on to the next area and explore. Though, more than likely she was just wandering around till she found her next meal.
It was then that she heard someone behind her. She turned around and looked up. From her energy sensory, she already knew that it was a shinigami. Though, it wasn't the same shingiami woman that she had fought before. This one was entirely new. She was definitely smaller than her, which was interesting. She hadn't seen a shinigami woman yet that had much height to them. She thought that maybe Soul Society was plauged with small women.
She continued to look over this woman and noticed that she still looked young, like the other woman did, the jumpy one. She guessed that all the spiritual races like theirs had the perk of looking younger than they actually were. It was an interesting fact. The woman's eyes, she had to admit, were a very pretty blue color. Aurora stood up and shook herself a little bit to make sure that all the water was off of her before she did anything.
She watched the woman unsheathe her zanpaktou, so Aurora did the same. The woman spoke, saying that she should leave the realm and never return because she and the other 'creatures' weren't allowed to be in the mortal plane. She scoffed. There was no way that this woman was going to force her out of here. At least, not without a fight. Aurora walked closer to the woman, with her zanpaktou in her right hand, holding it out to her side.
"So, shinigami woman, you think that you can forcibly make me leave here? I just did you a favor and got rid of that hollow for you. The first thing you should've done was thank me for my kindness and making your job a lot easier. How ungrateful of you. But, if you insist on trying to make me leave, I would like to see you try to get me to leave." Aurora growled at her, golden eyes glowing. She kept her feet shoulder width apart and angled her sword, tip towards left shoulder, hilt towards right hip, still being held in her right hand, and waited for the woman's attack.
Well, her little speech had the intended effect of pissing the Arrancar off, even if the woman didn't quite take the words to heart. Instead of being taken aback by the sudden appearance of a short, stunningly beautiful Shinigami with a sharp blade pointed at her, she decided to look her up and down. A look of annoyance crossed her face. 'Why do all opponents insist on using me for their visual pleasure? I am a warrior and deserve to be treated as such!' The Voice, as she referred to it, chuckled in response. ''Well, perhaps if you wore something approximating clothing, their eyes would not be drawn to your naughty bits.''
A red flush burned through her high cheekbones, an angry blush covering her face. She cast an angry scowl in the general direction of her forehead, her hand curling into fists at her side. 'You know full well why I wear what I wear!' A laugh followed this outburst. ''Because you harbor secret fantasies of leaving your family and becoming the town slut?'' A gasp left her. 'What did you- did you just- wait, what did that scum say?' Her eyes narrowed dangerously at the Arrancar then, all hints of her fluster gone.
"Thank trash like you? Why ever would I bring myself down like that? The things I scrape off my deserve more thanks than you." Her voice was utterly venomous, each word spat with the intensity of a striking cobra. "Though if you want thanks, I suppose I should give it." Icy eyes flashed as a wicked smirk grew across her face. "I thank you for being moronic enough to not kill an enemy on sight." She, of course, ignored the hypocrisy of that statement.
"My name is Katrina Kawada. Prepare to die." A flash step took her from the tree, placing her silently in front of her. The golden blade of her Zanpakutou was already flying, the curved tip aiming for her jugular. She expected resistance of some kind however, so at the last instant, she veered, the blade instant aiming to impale her shoulder bone. But, that itself was a distraction. "Byakurai." Her hand had raised to position, her vastly superior speed and skill in Kido casting an instant Pale Lightning spell. If it hit, it would impale through her ribcage. Not a life-threatening injury, though certainly enough to slow her down enough.

It seemed that Aurora looking over this woman pissed her off. Honestly, she looked at her just to size her up, it had nothing to do with her looks. Anyway, she wasn't feeling anything for this shinigami, besides beating the shit out of her. The shinigami must think highly of herself in the looks department if she assumed everyone that would try to size her up to them thought they were looking at her in that manner. Aurora laughed at herself about that comment. This shinigami was definitely interesting, that was for sure. She just hoped she would make her bleed.
She just growled at her while she was getting angry. But, Aurora had no idea why she was acting the way she was right now. It was almost like she was talking to herself. But, she didn't know why she was doing that. It was weird to watch, to say the least. But Aurora just stood there, flexing her fingers to warm them up for the fight that was sure to be coming up soon. She also cracked her neck once and rolled her shoulders. She wanted to make sure she was warm enough for this fight. She just glared at the shinigami, waiting to see what the crazy woman would do next.
Finally, the woman stopped whatever she was doing and started to address Aurora. But, of course, she just spoke out at how she was like dirt under her shoe and all this other crap, like scum. Honestly, Aurora just rolled her eyes at the woman. She didn't give a fuck one way or the other what this woman thought about her. She knew she would be able to hold her own against the woman. She introduced her name as Katrina Kawada and told her to prepare to die. Aurora laughed out loud at the woman when she said that. Obviously the woman thought herself important.
"I don't care who you are shinigami. I am the Fraccion of the Tercera Espada. I will kill you first, that's a fact." She then watched the woman disappear. She figured that she was using some kind of fast moving technique like Sonido. Well, she had a few tricks up her sleeves as well. She collected reishi in her feet and by the time Katrina appeared again, Aurora expelled a Cero out of her feet, letting her jump off of the ground a few feet, avoiding the Byakurai altogether. On the way back down, she fired off a Bala in the woman's direction.
