Aurora was running and knew she wasn't going to outrun the Espada. There was no way she could. She knew from the beginning that the Septima was going to be faster than her and no matter how far she was going to run, the Espada would catch her. So, after her third Sonido, she stopped. She had to take a break and she gave her legs a rest. She knew that she was going to have to fight the Espada, so she gave herself a break. She was breathing hard and her legs were getting a little shaky.
After about a minute or two, she did actually feel better. She stood and shook around her legs and arms, loosing them up for what was to come. It was then that she felt something and low and behold, the Septima appeared before her. She glared at the woman and watched as she unwrapped the chain from her waist. It seemed that it was more than a fashion accessory but her actual weapon. She drew her sword, got in a now fairly familiar stance. Knees slightly bent and shoulder width apart, tip pointed towards her left shoulder and hilt towards right hip. "Bring it!"
Post by Myzaraphiston Synderfell on Feb 11, 2015 20:47:38 GMT -5
Myza would continue to spin her chain as the Fraccion settled into a battle stance, a smile coming to her face for the first time since she had taken the girl out into the sands. She would begin to circle Aurora, keeping an eye on her opponent as she did so. The circling would continue for about five seconds, with the Septima making no hostile moves in the meantime. Then, from well outside of the other woman's sword reach, she would swing her chain at her.
It was, without a doubt, the slowest, laziest strike that Aurora had ever seen. It was obvious that the Septima was not even trying. Hell, even with the power-gap between the two of them, it would be easy for Aurora to dodge or otherwise counter the move. Of course, Myza knew that. After all, it was her intent for her blow to be that easy to handle. If she was able to do it long enough, then she knew, without any doubt, that she could frustrate the Trecera Fraccion into a sheer rage. And angry individuals... Well, they were easily led, when the chips came down.

Aurora was staring at the Espada while she made her way towards her. From the smile on the Arrancar's face, it seemed that the Septima was going to enjoy this. She didn't know if she was going to enjoy the fight itself or just beating up the Fraccion, but it didn't matter to Aurora. It would be nice to actually face off against an Espada. Aurora growled, waiting for the Espada to make a move, following the Espada around in a circle, keeping the front of her body facing the Espada.
She followed the Espada for a few seconds before she swung her chain at Aurora. Aurora watched the chain and was fairly amazed that the Espada was throwing out such a slow and lazy attack like that. She was glaring at the Espada, obviously she didn't care enough to really try against her. It would not make a difference, she would make the Espada actually try against her, whether she wanted to or not. So, when the strike came at her, she would quickly duck under the chain and shot a Bala out at the Espada's feet.

Myza would simply let the Arrancar's attack impact her feet. The energy would simply smack against her Hierro with no effect, and the Septima would do nothing more than yawn slightly while continuing to swing her chain. Honestly, while it was nice that she was trying, the simple fact was that unless the Septima completely threw the battle there was no way that Aurora could break through her Hierro.
"No. Please. Stop," the Espada would say to her opponent, her tone utterly bored and disinterested. Hell, it didn't even look like she was even really paying attention to Aurora! "There's no way I can stand against your power. Show some mercy. To think one could have such power without using their release." ... Yep, she was totally looking at her nails while she said that.
Post by Aurora Guerrero on Feb 14, 2015 2:15:22 GMT -5
Aurora knew for a fact that her attack would not work against the Espada. It didn't help her rage at all that the Septima pretty much didn't care. All she did was yawn. She growled loudly at the Espada, letting her rage flow through her body. Aurora already knew that she was weak. The Espada was just starting to piss her off. She didn't even know if it was possible, but she was pissing her off more than her own Espada, the Tercera. She honestly didn't think that anyone could piss her off more than that man. She respected his power, but damn. The way he talked and held himself, everything just pissed him off about her and it was getting the same way with this Espada.
After Aurora attacked, she heard the Septima say, insanely sarcastically, for her to stop attacking, saying that she couldn't stand against her power. She also wanted her to show mercy and she had such great power without using their release. She was getting really pissed now. All she was doing was swinging that stupid chain around, not even trying. Aurora roared at the Espada. She was really pissed now. "Wow, you're not even trying. How is this training me to be a better representation of our race when you don't even give a shit in a fight like this? For an Espada, that's pretty sad. You should try to beat the shit out of me, not play around."

It seemed that Aurora was about to learn a few lessons. First and foremost was to never ask a bored Espada to go all out. The Septima would simply raise an eyebrow at the Fraccion's demand, scoffing some at the idea. Then, with a simple shrug, she would stop spinning her chain, altering its course slightly so that it would impact her and wrap back around her waist. She would look Aurora directly in the eye after that, the smile on her face becoming even wider.
"Fine then," the Septima would say, her tone once again happy and bubbly. "You want to see what a real Espada can do? So be it." Myza's response to her opponents demand to not hold back would be met immediately. The Septima stopped holding back her power, and the Fraccion would instantly feel the Woman's gravitational pressure hit her. It wasn't enough to completely floor her. The Septima was still holding back from that, after all. But it was enough to put the fear of God into the headstrong girl, to intimidate her.
However, she didn't stop there. As soon as she released her gravitational pressure, Myza would point her hand towards Aurora, palm up and perpendicular to the girl's body while still off to the Septima's side. There would be a sudden sound of static, and then suddenly the Septima would be next to her. Unfortunately, the way she was holding her hand ensured that when the Septima ended her stepping technique, it would be inside of the Fraccion unless she had by some miracle gotten the idea to start dodging before Myza began her Sonido.
Yet the Septima was still not done. With her hand still inside the girl's body cavity, she would send some reiatsu flowing along the limb, forming a Bala in her mind. Then, as it began to collect in her palm, she willed the energy to change. Aurora would feel pure Electricity form around the Septima's arm and in her insides, partially cooking the organs. It was still nothing lethal, but prolong contact would not be any good, especially since the electricity had forced her bowels to void themselves.

Aurora roared out her demand towards the Septima and it seemed like it had at least piqued somewhat of an interest. Good. Hopefully, Aurora will be tested by this little training with the Espada. She watched her eyebrow arch up, she assumed that it was in somewhat of an annoyance, since she scoffed immediately after the eyebrow raise. When the Espada stared Aurora straight in the eye like that, she knew that she was actually going to do something instead of play around with her. She spoke, but she kept the same happy and bubbly tone about her as she has pretty much the entire time that Aurora has seen her.
She thought it odd, but each Espada could do whatever they wanted she guessed. After she said so be it, she felt something like pressure. Then, it hit her full force. It didn't take her down to her knees completely, but she felt the force hit her pretty hard. It almost took her breath and it felt like there was hundreds of pounds of weight that just got shifted onto her shoulders. She was using so much effort just to stand normally that she was sweating from the exertion of it. Once, the pressure stopped, she kept her eyes on the Espada. She knew that she would be faster than her but she needed to be on the top of her game against her.
The Espada pointed her hand towards Aurora and she knew that something was up. She could point out her hands and it could mean a multitude of things. She could be prepping to shoot her with a Cero, with a Bala or something else entirely, since Aurora didn't know the power behind the Septima. All she could do was think it over and the possibilities weren't good for her anyway. Right after the hand moved, Aurora performed a Sonido towards her left, not trusting at all what the Septima could do. She was correct in her assumption and it seemed that the Septima tried to impale her. Aurora quickly shot off a Bala, trying to distract the Septima long enough for her to try to come up with a plan.

Well, that was unexpected. Luck must have been on Aurora's side for dodging that attack. After all, she hadn't shown the reaction time or analytical abilities to deal with that before, and Myza had plenty of time to watch how she moved beforehand. Perhaps her fear of such a superior force was spurring her along right now.
Not that it particularly mattered. Despite not getting impaled upon the Septima's hand, the Fraccion had not been able to escape completely unscathed. Even with the stepping technique, the girl would still have been hit by the Espada's attack. The difference between their speed was simply too great, as amply demonstrated earlier. There was a long gash along the side of her stomach, one that would bleed profusely, and hurt more than a bit. Add that to her fatigue from all the activity before, and Myza remained certain that if she truly tried anything beyond a telegraphed assault, this trial would be over.
"I'm sorry dearie, was that almost too much for you?" the Septima would say, the Bala once again harmlessly impacting against her. She didn't even so much as blink at the attack, and simply continued to speak as if nothing had happened. "Here I was still holding back, and I still manage to hurt you. Isn't that just so disappointing?"

While Aurora was dodging the attack, she felt the weakness in her legs. She knew that her legs could give out soon. She growled at the Septima. She knew she wasn't even trying that hard and it was pissed her off. Aurora was just happy that she had avoided getting impaled. She could handle other injuries, but getting impaled would be a wound she didn't think she would be able to handle. She noticed, however, that she wasn't able to completely avoid the Septima's other attack. Aurora figured she wouldn't, but she hoped she would.
Aurora grimaced in pain as when she stopped her step technique, she felt blood oozing from her side. She looked down and saw that there was a huge gash on her side, near where her stomach was. It was a fairly bad wound and Aurora knew then and there that she was getting close to the end of this fight. Aurora held her hand to her side to try to stop the bleeding, but she just felt the blood pour out of her side with no end in sight. Aurora stood there, growling at the Septima. She wasn't going to move yet, waiting for the Espada to make her move.

Myza would simply look at Aurora for a moment. Then, without another word, she would begin to walk. The smile was gone from the mobile portion of her face, and she had an outright scowl. She was obviously unhappy, of that there could be no doubt. She would walk right up towards Aurora, and then.... She just walked right past her, heading towards Los Noches.
"We're done. You fail. Now walk back before you bleed out."
Post by Aurora Guerrero on Mar 29, 2015 18:43:02 GMT -5
Aurora was standing there, bleeding but nothing too serious from what she could see. It was just a lot of blood coming out of her wound. She glared at the woman as she walked towards her. She figured that this woman was trying to play with her, or walk in close and do some kind of surprise attack on her. But, it was actually just the opposite. She just walked towards Aurora and was actually scowling at her. It was then that she just continued walking and walked right past her. She said that she failed and to head back.
She failed? SHE FAILED?! WHAT THE FUCK WAS THIS CRAZY BITCH ON?! She had been able to avoid her attack and not get too injured. It was an Espada against a Fraccion. She knew the power gap was great, but she wanted to test her skills before she showed her full power. But, obviously, this Espada was having none of that. She wanted to see it all or nothing. Well, Aurora could oblige the Septima. She growled at her walking figure and screamed, "Destroy, Tigre ácido!" With her rage on full tilt, the transformation didn't take too long.
Her sword melted, helping to form the black armor that started to form over her. Her skull completed on her head, making the helmet. She then started running towards the Septima, the armor just finishing forming. She grabbed her two new weapons, her knives, and placed them in her hands, running as fast as she could towards the Septima. Her legs were starting to feel like jell-o, but she was going to push past her limits and defeat her. She would not fail! "I AM NOT A FAILURE!" She would roar this at the Septima while she would try to land a strike on her body with her weapons.

Ah, there it was. That beautiful rage that Myza had been striving for from her pupil here. Now it was time for this Fraccion to learn one of the most important lessons in Los Noches: Respect your place. Indeed, it was the most important rule one could know in Kouhai's kingdom. In fact, it was virtually the entire glue holding the tenuous relationship that Arrancar possessed together. And for all the disrespect Myza herself had shown when she had been a Fraccion, she still hated those who didn't acknowledge this law.
And so, Myza let the Fraccion charge her, feeling the girl charge towards her. Myza knew without a doubt that the girl was at her limits. She had to be. After all, Myza had put her through quite a bit of effort already. Add in the heavily bleeding wound, and even her tolerance for bleeding and Pain would leave her somewhat out of her depth. All of this was what added to the ease of Myza's next action.
As Aurora charged her, the Septima simply mentally timed the girl's approach. When she was finally within striking distance, Myza would simply go for one of the simplest tricks within her arsenal. She built up the energy for a Bala in her Hollow Hole, and fired it directly behind her. The entire action was blindingly quick thanks to the Espada's mastery of the technique. And thanks to the combination of Aurora's wound, her closeness to the Espada, and her tired nature to begin with.... Well, it was going to take nothing short of divine intervention to avoid the attack that she was literally throwing herself towards.

While Aurora charged, she knew that this was probably going to be the last attack she could muster out of her body. She had pushed her legs to the limit already by trying to get as far away from Los Noches as she could. Then, she had to try to fight against the Septima with her jelly legs. She knew going into it that she wasn't going to be strong enough to defeat her, but it was nice to see that she was at least able to put up a decent fight. Well, it was like that until she got injured because her legs had turned into jell-o.
Right now, it was pure strength of will that was egging her on to try and defeat her. She kept running towards the Septima's back when she knew that something was going to happen. There was no way that an Espada of any rank was going to let someone just run at their back like this without trying to attack. She kept running full tilt towards the Espada until her legs finally gave out. A few feet away from the Espada, she just drops to the sand, unable to take another step. She noticed the Bala that whizzed by her head and counted herself lucky that her legs gave out when they did.
Now, she was sitting on the sand, trying to get back up but was unable to do so. She had to do something against her and not just sit here. So, she decided to do the same attack that she had done. She knew that it wasn't going to effect her in any way, but she had to do something. So, she laid down one of her knives and extended her right hand out, shooting the Bala at close range towards the Espada. She just hoped that the Espada would realize that she wasn't going to give up so easily and that she had proved something to her.

Aurora was lucky. Even now, the Septima was treating the other Arrancar with kid gloves. Myza had purposefully slowed down the actual speed of the Bala she had fired. Instead of the normal ten times Cero speed, Myza had reduced it to normal Cero speed. Had it been its full speed, all Aurora's falling would have accomplished was a slightly different area hit, and the near-assured death that would have resulted.
However, even with the near-miss, Aurora would once again not emerge unscathed. The Bala would catch a large chunk of the Arrancar's hair, and just annihilated the majority of her hairstyle. It wasn't as damaging as the Septima's prior attack, but it would be a potent reminder how close to death the Fraccion had come. However, that was simply a portent of the damage to come. Myza would quickly turn on the fallen Arrancar while she tried to get up, and took one step forward. Then the Septima's foot would rise up and hit Aurora in the stomach before she could raise up her arm to fire the Bala.
While the Septima was still holding back overall, the kick still had a tremendous amount of power behind it. It was far beyond what any human could be capable of in even their wildest dreams. What's more, it wasn't the only kick that Myza was giving the Fraccion. That first kick would quickly be followed by a second, a third, a fourth, a fifth. Blow after blow would hit the Trecera's underling, all going towards her stomach. It wouldn't be just painful. It would be excruciating. Eventually, the Septima would stop, looking down at Aurora.
"What was that," the Septima would say, a verbal sneer in her voice. "Did you try to say I was wrong? Listen here, Aurora. Focus through the measly amount of pain you're in, because this will be the most important lesson you will ever get. I wasn't always the Septima. When I first came to Los Noches, I wasn't even a part of the hierarchy. I was simply a woman looking for someone worthy to serve. And you know what? I found him. Lord Adalo, the Primera. Do you know what one of the first things he did to me was? He stabbed me in the chest, just barely shy of my heart. He showed me the results of defying his will, of defying the will of those better than you. When he decided to train me? He broke me utterly. I released against him, brought every ounce of power I had against him, and it did nothing. But still he was happy with me. Do you know why? Because even with my spine shattered, even with my limbs removed, even with his sword in my chest, I refused to give up. I spat in his face, and put forth all of my energy in one final blow even with all those wounds. It did nothing to him still, but he laughed. He told me that I had already proven myself stronger than some of the existing Espada, put up more of a fight than they could have ever hoped to give. He told me that with his help, I would become nothing but stronger. And you know what? I did.
"But now, let's look at you. Compared to Lord Adalo, Sargon has practically been letting you suckle from his teat. He does not show you the consequences of your attempts to inflict your will on your betters. He does not demonstrate what potentional you have to live up to. He doesn't even bother to assign you to any truly important undertakings! When I was a fraccion, I distracted dozens of Shinigami from our invasions, I worked day and night to ensure that we could get as many strong Arrancar under our rule as possible. I even fought and won against a Captain! You, though? You've done nothing. You are nothing.
"Just look at this entire fight. You refused to take it seriously from the moment we started. You knew that I was better, that you would be hard pressed to even hurt me. And yet, you didn't bring out your Ressurection. You know what that tells me? You either are profoundly stupid, more arrogant than that fool Cierro, or you resigned to the inevitable. All of those are pathetic excuses that only the Lesser Races should have! It wasn't until it was too late that you returned to your true self. You couldn't even fight me then, could you? It is as I said before, girl. You've failed. You've failed to hurt me. You've failed to impress me. You've even failed to entertain me. Were you not a member of the Chosen People, I would execute you right now.
"But I won't. Your fate is in my hands now, girl. And here is what you will do. You will hold onto this trial, remember it. You will remember the respect that we Espada are due. You will remember how easily I tore you apart. And you will remember how I told you were worthless. You will stew over this, work to prove me wrong. And one day, we will do this again. When that time comes, if you fail to impress me once more, I will kill you."
The Septima would finally turn away after that, and begin to walk away. She would open a Garganta in front of herself, and turn back to Aurora once she was within the tear between dimensions. A smile was upon the woman's face as she looked at the Fraccion. The Garganta would slowly close, eventually leaving only the Septima's smile visible. Then the Septima was gone, leaving Aurora alone.

While Aurora was falling down to the sand, she saw the Bala come towards her. Thankfully, it completely missed her head but the end of her braid got scorched off. Once she had fallen, the burnt end of her hair hit her, sizzling on her jacket as she tried to attack with a Bala. It was then that the Septima came towards her and kicked her before the Bala was released. She didn't stop there. She kicked her five more times for good measure and all the strength that she used in the kicks was knocking the wind out of her.
By the time the kicks were over, Aurora was in quite a bit of pain. She held her stomach, staying in the same position that she was in when she was kicked. She looked up and saw the look on the Septima's face. Then, she started to talk. Aurora was already in pain and when she heard the tone of voice that she was using, it pissed her off already. So, she really only got maybe half of what she had said. She filtered out most of the filler, but there were a few things she said that peaked her interest. The first being that she was the Fraccion to Adalo.
She didn't know that he had one, but he obviously did at one point in time. She talked about fighting him and how he was to make her stronger. He obviously did so since she's now one of the Espada. She wasn't high ranked, but being in the Espada was a feat to show just how strong an Arrancar was. Then there was more filler and then when she said she was just going to kill her outright but wouldn't because she was one of the Chosen People, that pissed her off. This Septima was really starting to piss her off.
If she really wanted to kill her, why didn't she just do it? It would be better than having to listen to her talk anymore. She talked of respect and she did respect the Espada, just not her. She had pissed her off too much. Even with Sargon, she shut up every once in awhile, but her. She just rubbed her the wrong way and now she was going to make sure that she would kill her. She said they would meet again and if she didn't impress, she would kill her. She then left via Garganta smiling at her while Aurora roared. Oh, this bitch was gonna get hurt now. Aurora stood and made her own Garganta, walking through back towards Los Noches. She was not going to get disrepected like that again.
