{False Shikai}Technique Name: False Shikai
Technique Class: 4 - 40 TTP (120 TTP with Soulbind); Requires Dedicated Thread.
Technique Type: Soul Release.
Usable By: Shinigami, Vizard.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: Shikai Cost.
Description: There are times in which a Shinigami does not want to use the power of their Zanpaktou for whatever reason, yet they still would like the physical form of their Shikai; this technique allows for that. When activated, a Shinigami's Zankpakuto will change into its Shikai form, but will not have access to its spiritual abilities at all. That means no Zanpakuto techniques and no overall ability; this change is just a physical one from their sealed Zanpakuto form to their Shikai form. One advantage that they do keep is that cutback is negated while they use this technique, just like a normal Release.
How to Use: Just like using Shikai normally, the Shinigami says a release name. However, instead of saying their Zanpaktou's true name they use a shortened one that keeps it half sealed.
Incantation: N/A.
Drawbacks: The major drawback is that this false Shikai costs the same as using Shikai normally, so there really is no advantage to using it like this. It lasts for the same duration as Shikai, but can be refreshed. The big thing is that no power from the Zanpakutou's spirit can be used in the False Shikai, meaning that the user only has the form of their Shikai to fight with. One thing to note if someone wishes to learn Soulbind after having this tech, Soulbind costs three times as much to learn due to the fact that this technique is viewed as an insult to the Zanpakuto Spirit. If someone has Soulbind and wants to learn this technique they need to pay three times the amount to learn it as well for the same reason. This technique can either be taught to someone else by someone who knows it or through a training thread. This technique must be trained for, and cannot simply have TTP spent on it. Finally, the false Release name that the Shinigami uses must relate to their Shikai in a shortened way.

{Soulbind}Technique Name: Soulbind
Technique Class: 4 - 40 TTP (120 with False Shikai); Requires Dedicated Thread.
Technique Type: Soul Release.
Usable By: Shinigami, Vizard.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: Half of Shikai Cost.
Description: This is a special technique that was discovered through the use of deep meditation and communion with one’s Zanpakuto spirit. When activated, the user’s Zanpakuto simply disappears, burning away in blue flames. At the same time, the user gains the ability to channel their Zanpakuto’s overall ability through their body. For example, a fire-based Zanpakuto would allow the user to light their fists on fire for hand-to-hand combat, or their entire body as a defensive measure. This is customized by the user upon the learning of this technique, but must be posted in the Create a Technique section and treated as a reserved custom technique for that character. To activate the technique, the user pays half of their current Shikai cost. This technique has the same post limitation as the user’s Shikai duration. Mastery of this technique increases the post duration by five posts. This does not require Release to be active, though if activated during Release, the Shikai used for Soulbind ends.
How to Use: To use this technique, the user quickly communes with their Zanpakuto Spirit, asking their permission to use it. If permission is granted, the user absorbs their Zanpakuto into their body, causing it to burn with a bright blue flame as it disintegrates away, the spiritual ash merging with their material form.
Incantation: N/A.
Drawbacks: No Zanpakuto techniques can be used during Soulbind; only the overall ability is enabled. Also, no other stage of Release can be used for the Zanpakuto that Soulbind is active with. This also causes spiritual damage to both the user and the Zanpakuto; the user is literally consuming their own soul and making it perfectly align with their material bodies as well, which tears at and weakens the spirit. Excessive use of more than twice in a thread without extended rest will leave a Shinigami comatose or kill him. Only Shinigami with Shikai unlocked and usable can learn and use this technique; Kenpachi types that give up Shikai or Technique Masters would be excluded, for example. Vizards may also learn this technique, but commune with their Inner Hollow instead of a Zanpakuto Spirit.
To learn this technique, the user is required to complete a training thread in which they commune with their Zanpakuto Spirit to learn this technique; it is dangerous for both user and spirit, and is incredibly painful for the latter to be forcefully aligned with a material body, so trust must be earned. For users with multiple Zanpakuto, this technique must be learned for each one separately, taking up more technique slots.

{Soul Release}Technique Name: Soul Release
Technique Class: 0 - 600 TTP; Requires Dedicated Thread.
Technique Type: Soul Release.
Usable By: Shinigami, Vizard.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: Bankai Cost.
Description: While the origins of this technique are unknown, the technique is a recent innovation created by the 29th Kuchiki Head, Sozen Kuchiki. Based on the idea of Soulbind, Soul Release is meant to be the ultimate Soul Reaper power. Let's explain. Soul Release is an expansion of the idea behind Soulbind, Soulbind's idea being to create a minimalistic form which allows versatility in certain situations. Soulbind is, essentially, a suppressed Shikai with slightly tweaked powers. Soul Release is the opposite of that. Soul Release is a magnified Bankai with slightly tweaked and improved powers. But let's get this straight. Soul Release isn't the fabled "third level release." That doesn't exist. Soul Release is still Bankai. It's simply an improvement of Bankai. If Soulbind is the suppressed form of the Soul Reaper's power, or in other words a reduced soul, then Soul Release is an expanded soul, and is the ultimate form of the Soul Reaper's power and spirit. That's what Soul Release is. The strongest possible form that the Soul Reaper's spirit can take. So, let's explain how that works. As a result of using Soul Release, a Soul Reaper gains the following.
How to Use: Learning Soul Release is extremely difficult. Not only must the user be class 0, but they can only learn it through training threads. This cannot be learned in PVP, Adventures, or CIUs. It can be learned only through training or joint training threads. Training for the technique first requires the user to find a fundamental truth about themselves, and then expand on it by searching their soul, and seeking out their greatest form. At that point, that form can be given shape and brought to reality, creating Soul Release.
Activating Soul Release is much the same as Bankai. Its activation creates an enormous column of reiatsu and steam, and blasts away incoming attacks. It also heals all current wounds on the user's body. When released, the atmosphere in the area becomes so tense it's as if a cataclysmic storm has arrived with the same sentient hostility as a wild beast. To activate Soul Release, however, requires the permission of the user's Zanpakuto spirit. It also can only be done from a Bankai state, and cannot be directly activated from a sealed or Shikai form. The user must actively ask their Zanpakuto spirit, who WILL refuse if a good, plausible reason is not given. The asking must be done while in a Bankai state. When activated, this technique not only aligns and synchronizes the soul and Zanpakuto, but actually releases them from inside the user and into the world. Hence, "Soul Release."
Soul Release lasts for 15 posts. Learning it also requires having maximum stat points and maximum skill points, as well as a 4 in at least one skill, as Soul Release requires dedication to one's sense of self.
Unlike Soulbind, which can be used even by Vizards communicating with their inner hollow rather than Zanpakuto spirit, Soul Release is unusable by Vizards, or by any who lack a Zanpakuto spirit. On the other hand, Vandenreich Bankai Steal cannot be used on Soul Release.
Incantation: N/A.
Drawbacks: But, despite being as strong as it is, Soul Release comes with major drawbacks. Other than the 1200 reiatsu cost, which is dismissible to many, it comes with many other drawbacks. For one thing, when it ends, releasing again at any level is no longer possible. For two, it only suspends reiatsu and stamina drain. When it ends, not only do both of these hit the user, but they hit the user six times over. In other words, if one were to fight all out for all 15 posts and build up 4000 reiatsu spending, then the end of Soul Release would make the user feel as if they had gone all out for 90 posts, and expended 24,000 reiatsu.
But even this is dismissible compared to what comes after. Like Soulbind, which damages the user's soul for use, Soul Release has a devastating drawback of its own. Even a single use of Soul Release wounds the soul deeply, and completely destroys the user's Zanpakuto spirit inside and out. The Zanpakuto spirit's mind is broken down into total insanity, and the spirit will physically transfigure into a hideous, monstrous form with a berserker personality, and the desire to kill the user. Intensive IC therapy is required to heal the Zanpakuto spirit. (Thread therapy must be at least 3 pages.) Even after this, the Zanpakuto spirit will bear scars of Soul Release's use. If the spirit is left untreated and stays in the berserker state, the user will be unable to release at any point until the healing is done. It will also make sleeping impossible, or difficult, because the berserker will haunt the user's nightmares, and even sometimes their conscious thoughts, and whisper of consuming them, and of death and the apocalypse, even more aggressively than any inner hollow. In fact, when finally dreaming, the user will be attacked by the Zanpakuto, whose inflicted wounds can actually wound the physical body. The berserker is unbeatable and will always win. Therefore, those who use Soul Release suffer from terrible sleep deprivation.
While the Zanpakuto spirit CAN be healed and returned to an ordinary state, from then on, the user will have occasional nightmares about the berserker soul. Too many uses of Soul Release will make the Zanpakuto spirit's change permanent. The more it is used, the harder it is to fix. Soul Release costs 25% more reiatsu to activate each time it is used, and the cost can be lowered again only through reiatsu therapy, in an IC thread which would last at least 8 pages.

That's what Soul Release is. The strongest possible form that the Soul Reaper's spirit can take. So, let's explain how that works. As a result of using Soul Release, a Soul Reaper gains the following.
- The Bankai overall ability is made stronger, more aggressive, and cannot be countered by non class 0 opposition. Systematically, it is given three additional properties (which MUST ABSOLUTELY still relate to the central idea of the Bankai and not differ by much) in its overall ability. This means the ultimate form of Bankai. It is not a new release. It is the same Bankai, with the same techniques. It's just that the overall ability is updated to be made even more powerful, and with less restrictions. Extra properties cannot be stat increases.
- There is no change in techniques, but all Bankai techniques are given one extra property which makes them more powerful, while one drawback can be dropped. The techniques are not different techniques. They are the same techniques with an extra effect and less restraint. Extra properties cannot be stat increases.
- The user takes on a form change. There is no telling what that form change is. It may be an outfit, or it may age or reverse the aging of the Soul Reaper. It might give them a completely new body or appearance, or give them their own "ideal look" as they wish to look in their own mind. The possibilities are limitless. Soul Release is the ultimate form of the spirit, and thus Soul Reapers are given what is considered the strongest form of their soul.
- A 4 in any one additional skill. If a custom skill, said skill must be created with the Soul Release in question.
- Reiatsu and stamina costs are suspended until Soul Release ends, because the soul is outputting its maximum possible power.
- An exceptionally, unparalleled intimidating aura, accompanied by gravitational pressure that can flatten anyone that isn't class 0. Anyone who is within this aura will feel as if they are naked in a blizzard, or worse.

{Soul Resonance}Technique Name: Soul Resonance
Technique Class: 1 - 250 TTP
Technique Type: Soul Release.
Usable By: Shinigami, Vizard.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: 800 Reiatsu.
Description: The relationship with one's Zanpakuto Spirit varies from Shinigami to Shinigami. Some work in tandem with their Spirit, treating them as equals. While others force a much more servitude relationship. Making the Zanpakuto Spirit out to be nothing but a mere tool. A simple weapon to be handled and used when needed. Regardless of the relationship, a Zanpakuto Spirit is a representation of a Soul Reaper's very soul. They are a piece of them. Though similar in personality in some aspects. They can be vastly different from others.
Soul Resonance is more along a state of being than a technique itself. It represents a melding of the mind, body and soul between Shinigami and Zanpakuto Spirit. When the two truly become one harmonious being. No longer shackled by differing thoughts and personalities. The Zanpakuto Spirit and Shinigami have become truly one. Acting, fighting and even speaking as one. The voice of the Zanpakuto Spirit will overlap and resonate from the Shinigami. The appearance of the Shinigami will differ from Reaper to Reaper. Causing the Shinigami to take some resemblance to their Zanpakuto Spirit. This varies depending on the Spirit in question. Possibly causing the Reaper to sprout wings or even a tail. Sometimes shifting their physical appearance drastically. which can shift wildy between Shikai and Bankai respectfully.
Soul Resonance - Echo: The Shikai variant of Soul Resonance is simply known as Echo and can only be used in Shikai. It also requires a two post start up time to activate (Mastery reduces this to one). And can only be active for up to five posts. In this state the Shinigami and the Zanpakuto Spirit haven't fully fused. They merely share the same state of mind, the same goal. Though some physical features of the Reaper will change causing them to faintly resemble their Zanpakuto Spirit. But only small changes will occur. Such as a change in clothing or even eye color. Possibly even growing fangs.
Soul Resonance - Harmony: The Bankai variant of Soul Resonance is known as Harmony and can only be used in Bankai. It requires a three post start up time to activate (Mastery reduces this to two). And can only be active for up to five posts. In this state the Shinigami and the Zanpakuto Spirit have fully harmonized. This shifts the Shinigami's appearance as well as their personality heavily. Causing them to appear as a fusion between Shinigami and Zanpakuto Spirit.
During Soul Resonance, the Shinigami and Zanpakuto Spirit act as one. And as such their release techniques become less strenuous and easier to perform on their spiritual bodies. Allowing the Shinigami and the Spirit to cut the cost of release techniques by 25% in Shikai and 50% while in Bankai. Also in becoming one being, they are able to think far more quickly and effectively than they would on their own. Allowing the two to make split second decisions and act far more efficiently in the heat of battle. Increasing their instinct by 25% in both Shikai and Bankai. Lastly when mastered, their main offensive stat will increase by 25% in Shikai and 50% in Bankai respectively, during the first duration of release before refresh.
How to Use: Commune and resonate your soul with ones Zanpakuto Spirit.
Incantation: N/A.
Drawbacks: Though this technique is rather strong, it comes with some rather nasty drawbacks. First of all, the personality of the user can vastly shift after fusion. Forcing the Shinigami and Zanpakuto Spirit to perform and act in certain ways they would not before. Making the user out to be a completely different person. This is mainly an issue in Bankai though and is rarely a problem in Shikai. This technique cuts the duration of release in half and doubles the cost of release. Also this technique can only be used once in a thread and remains active for only five consecutive posts. Thus might require the Shinigami to refresh their release in order to remain fused. Lastly even though this technique is active for five posts. Exiting this fusion at any time puts the Shinigami in a wounded state. Cutting their instinct and offensive by 25%, lasting for three posts afterwards. This is due to the stress that this fusion puts on their spiritual bodies.

{Soul Manifestation}Technique Name: Soul Manifestation
Technique Class: 1 - 250 TTP
Technique Type: Soul Release.
Usable By: Shinigami, Vizard.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: 800 Reiatsu.
Description: It is well known that in order to learn Bankai a Shinigami must manifest and subjugate their Zanpakuto Spirit. Techniques such as Spiritual Projection allow a Shinigami to materialize their Zanpakuto Spirit, or Inner Hollow when used by Vizards respectfully. Soul Manifestation is a passive augmentative technique that relies upon existing techniques or abilities that allow one to release their Spirit outside their Inner World.
Soul Manifestation’s strength comes from the fact that it allows one's Zanpakuto Spirit or Inner Hollow the ability to utilize their release alongside the one who manifested them. They are the source of a Shinigami’s power after all, it only makes sense that they could make use of both Shikai and Bankai. This follows the same rules of release as a Shinigami or Vizard. Following rules of cost and length of release. When released the Zanpakuto Spirit or Inner Hollow have access to up to five of the user's non-Release techniques and any existing Step Technique. Chosen each time they release. A great boon of freedom is granted to the Spirit upon mastery, allowing them to release separately from the user if they so desire. Soul Manifestation also grants the Zanpakuto Spirit or Inner Hollow the ability to manifest themselves whenever they wish. Using existing techniques such as Spiritual Projection and Kurayami: Kurotaigen as the catalyst. Yet treating themselves as the one who had used the technique. Uniquely Soul Manifestation also grants the one materialized its own SkP pool. Which total is tied to the user and distributed when learned. These SkP placements are permanent, which can only be changed with CIUs.
How to Use: Manifest Zanpakuto Spirit or Inner Hollow.
Incantation: N/A.
Drawbacks: This technique is powerful, granting the user an ally who can utilize ones release. It should be noted though, this technique does come with some requirements to learn and some nasty drawbacks. Firstly the user must have access to Bankai. This shows the user has already manifested and subjugated their Zanpakuto Spirit. Or has faced their Inner Hollow when being used by a Vizard. Secondly the user must have some way of manifesting their Zanpakuto Spirit or Inner Hollow. Or this technique cannot be learned. Thirdly when mastered the Zanpakuto Spirit or Inner Hollow gains free reign of when they wish to manifest. This can be dangerous, especially for those who possess an Inner Hollow. Fourthly, all Drawbacks from the technique used to manifest the Zanpakuto Spirit or Inner Hollow still apply. Soul Manifestation merely augments those existing techniques passively. Yet if the Zanpakuto Spirit/Inner Hollow is defeated those existing drawbacks from those Manifestation techniques are more severe. Doubling the time it takes for the Spirit to manifest once more. Next, the user is still limited by the rules of their release, regardless if their Spirit is utilizing it at the same time. Meaning release techniques that can only be used once per post/thread are still limited in that capacity. Thus the user can’t bypass these limitations of their release while using this technique. Also even if releasing separately, the release limit is tied between the two. Meaning 2 posts of release are used up, when both are released at the same time. Lastly this technique can't be learned by those with summon based releases.
