"Who...am I? What...am I? What is that...over there? If I touch it...will it wither? If I could smell, I would sniff it. If I could taste, I would eat it. If I could hear, I would press my ears against it, if I had ears. If I could speak, I would communicate with it. If I could feel, I would touch it. But...this white body, within which my soul is encased, cannot feel but injuries and the sensation of moving and walking around. This white body, within which my soul is encased, encloses me without a nose to smell, nor ears to hear, nor tongue to taste, nor mouth to speak. What...am I, if no longer a man? Why is it that I wander this desert day in, day out, in agony? Why...is there no one to rival my power...or even interact with? Why...is this world so empty?"
"Ehhhh...?" Warmth. There was warmth of some kind, but what? It didn't matter so much, but...it kind of did...was there always warmth in Hueco Mundo? Couldn't be. In fact, nah. There couldn't be warmth in Hueco Mundo. Must be a dream. Wait, but...dream? I haven't dreamed in a longass time...the hell...? And I'm pretty sure that if I'm dreaming, I'm not supposed to realize that I'm dreaming...Unless it's one of those...Eh...lucid dreaming? Yeah, sounds about right... Dreaming...dreaming...No, there definitely wasn't any dreaming going on. That was fucking bullshit in a bag of nuts. There was definitely no dreaming going on here! So then what was going on?
Eyes open. Blue skies, sunlight, cloudless day. It was a beautiful day, surprisingly warm for Winter, and not a drop of rain nor a flake of snow in sight. The heat not unbearable, and was rather pleasant. There were butterflies of the spring time floating around everywhere. Yeah...this definitely ain't Hueco Mundo...How the hell did I get here? These were but the first waking thoughts of a certain dark skinned individual, who, groaning, sat up and started to look around in utter confusion. He saw buildings, a gate, a giant wall, and more buildings. It looked pretty feudal, but then again, he wasn't exactly sure what feudal meant to begin with.
The dark skinned Arrancar sat up. Axis Recio. Age of Appearance: 22. Real Age: None of your fucking business. Occupation: Professional sleeper. Mood: Confused as hell. Tall, gaunt, and muscular, the lanky, lightly brown tannish Arrancar stood up to his full height of six foot six, nearly two meters in total, and started to gaze at and observe his surroundings, looking at them. "The hell...?" Axis murmured out loud. "Where am I?" He literally had no idea that he had somehow ended up in Soul Society, just outside of the Seireitei, within the Rukon District no less. Fearful inhabitants were all around, hiding behind things and watching him from behind.
Axis turned around to face them, and they all recoiled in fear. Axis scratched the back of his head, nodding it in confusion, and then turned back around to face the gates and giant wall which lay before him. He eyed it lazily, unsuspecting that there were those who thought he had come for a full scale invasion of the place. He had just fallen asleep somewhere in Hueco Mundo, and woken up here in Soul Society. He had no idea how, but then again, Axis had a tendency to wake up in strange places. This, of course, was the strangest he had woken up in within quite a while. Most of the time, he didn't wake up in a completely different world. Well, most of the time.
"What...the fuck?" Axis asked aloud. Okay, this was some seriously fucked up shit. That wall was super ridiculously massively hella tall. Were walls supposed to be that large...? Dafuq...? Is this Las Noches? Nah, can't be. We ain't in no desert here...Or maybe it is. Fuck, Lucian's a liar. Or he's just blind...Or a dumbass...Wait, nah. This probably isn't Las Noches. Okay, then in that case... "WHERE THE FUCK AM I?!" Axis demanded to himself. Since no one really showed up to answer him, he was left clueless. Axis walked straight into the Rukongai area and up to one of the residents, towering over the resident and casting a huge, looming shadow.
"Oi," Axis began. The resident cried out and fell over onto his butt. From certain angles, it might look as if Axis was threatening, attacking, or intimidating the resident. In actuality, he was asking questions. "Where is this?" Axis asked. The resident was having a panic attack as a result of the black haired, ice-blue eyed Arrancar's presence, and so no answer game, only foamy bubbles from the mouth. It wasn't even Axis's fault that his reiatsu was constantly in flux, and seemed hostile. He just didn't know how to control it and suppress it. He looked very confused while the resident scrambled around.

There should be Silence right now
Allies...
Friends...
Leadership...
Such are the source of True Strength
How lonely the villain must be
Up there, forever isolated
On a gilded throne of crushed corpses
Like as the waves make towards the pebbled shore, So do our minutes hasten to their end; Each changing place with that which goes before, In sequent toil all forwards do contend. Nativity, once in the main of light, Crawls to maturity, wherewith being crown’d, Crooked elipses ’gainst his glory fight, And Time that gave doth now his gift confound. Time doth transfix the flourish set on youth And delves the parallels in beauty’s brow, Feeds on the rarities of nature’s truth, And nothing stands but for his scythe to mow: And yet to times in hope my verse shall stand, Praising thy worth, despite his cruel hand.
Just stepping down from the stage at a poetry reading, having given a sonnet of Shakespeare from memory, there was a light applause that was just for the sake of being polite. The man who had recited the piece had barely taken a few steps before something was being whispered in his ear by a patiently waiting officer. "It's Squad 12, Commander, they've found something abnormal." Slipping into a white Haori, emblazoned with the image of a circle with three points coming off of it, the man quickly followed the messenger, leaving no excuses as he made his way out of the room. "I guess I'm going to have to save the Seireitei today." Kyomei Kuchiki. Age of Appearance: 37. Real Age: 782. Occupation: Kidou Corps Commander. Mood: Determined.
Quickly finding himself in the Mission Command Center of the twelve squad, with all sorts of monitors everywhere keeping track of all manner of people and threats, the Kuchiki immediately noticed the one flashing bright red. "Thank you for coming, Commander... We've a big fish in our neck of the woods..." Kyomei's nose turned up and his eyes squinted at the sight of the obese man in front of him. Not only was he too big to leave the motorized chair made for him, but his voice was ugly to look at, and his body odor made the room putrid. There was no doubt about why he was alone in the area when he smelled so bad. The olive cloud that was only visible to the Kuchiki himself also revolted the man, but he maintained his composure like a leader should.
"Well then I shouldn't take too long in getting to the problem. What is it?" Wanting to leave as fast as possible, the answer alone made him stop in the doorway. "It's an Arrancar, with power more than doubling our current data on the Segunda who shows up so frequently..." There was a slight hesitation as the Commander mulled over those words. In part, he was afraid, though he could put on a brave face. Someone outstripping the Segunda had to be the Primera, and Kyomei's cousin Sozen had been beaten down by a weaker Arrancar than was here for the Kuchiki to face today. "Cut off the head, and the whole snake dies... Wish me luck."
Following a quick paced run to get his heart rate up, Kyomei found himself in the Rukongai, with a wild and unchecked reiatsu spreading like a wildfire. The air was thick with the reiatsu of a crazed, uncontrolled being, which required no hunting to find. The Kuchiki would come across the Arrancar bullying a random citizen of the Rukongai, and his own reiatsu would start to leak out in warning. As soon as he started to push, citizens would scatter as the dirt began to crack and the stone houses started to creak. Grass began to shrivel up and the Arrancar's unchecked reiatsu would be snuffed out. The man who was foaming at the mouth would hopefully get away when the Arrancar's attention turned towards the Kidou Corps Commander. "Your bullying is not welcome here. I suggest you leave before I make you."
"Ehhhhh?" Went Axis. Wait, what the hell? Who was this, just waltzing in and flexing his reiatsu for no good reason? Seriously? Wait! Stop everything! Soul Society! That was where Axis was! Shit. It had been so long since he had set foot in Soul Society that he had actually forgotten all about it. Years as a Hollow tended to do that, but since he had once been a resident of this place himself, he remembered, and once he did, all of the pieces clicked back together for him. Axis actually understood things for once! He was less confused now.
Now, since Axis now knew exactly where he was, Soul Society, the Rukon District, he needed to know how he had gotten there. Well, also he needed to get this guy dusted off and stuff and tell him he didn't need answers anymore. ...But the guy in front of Axis was already running away. Axis looked around to see everyone running away and cowering in their homes, hoping for safety and cover, and he glanced back and remembered that someone with strong reiatsu was behind him. The wind was flowing in Axis's direction, and the ground was actually being pushed around by the reiatsu of the Soul Reaper standing behind the Arrancar.
Hey, seriously...? He's flexing that reiatsu like having a big amount is supposed to be impressive...The fuck? Axis had met plenty of opponents in the past whose reiatsu exceeded his in both power and amount, and it had never really intimidated him much before. He was sure that this guy didn't understand that reiatsu based ability did not necessarily equal being powerful. Oh well, who cares, right? First of all, what was this stupid Soul Reaper doing assuming all of this crap? He had shown up while Axis was asking for directions and trying to figure out where this was, and then started boasting with a show of reiatsu strength, when Axis had not even been competing.
When Axis glanced back, he noted that the Soul Reaper had on a white Haori, which informed Axis of the Soul Reaper's rank as a Captain. Okay, big deal. A Captain. First of all, Axis had already dealt with a Captain before back before he had even left Soul Society. He hadn't even been a seated officer when he had met Kenryoku Kawada, who had been incapable of cutting Axis using a sealed blade. It had been pathetic, actually. Oh, and also, Captains couldn't even deal with Espada, whom the Escudo were geared to destroy...how could this guy think he was tough shit under those circumstances? Oh wait! He probably didn't even know Axis's rank.
Come to think of it...Do they even know that the Escudo exist? Do they even know what the word means? Eh, who cares. I'm getting bored. And sleepy. Fuck this. I want to go home. And he really would have, too. Axis would definitely have gone home, if his opponent didn't go on and provoke him, just the way any dipshit who thought too highly of his own reiatsu power would. "Your bullying is not welcome here. I suggest you leave before I make you."Eh? Make me? Fucking make me? Are you kidding? This guy...is underestimating me. Of all people, I'm being underestimated? You're fucking joking, right? Don't even try, you shithead...
"Piss off," Axis told him, releasing an enormous explosion of reiatsu from his body. It was not as strong as what was released by the Kido Corps Commander, but when the ground was knocked up, Axis used his output of reiatsu to break up a big piece of the ground, and blasted it toward Kyomei. It was probably going to miss, actually. Doing that kind of thing with just flux of reiatsu was impossible. It couldn't be done efficiently or accurately. However, even though it was probably going to miss, there was a chance that Axis would get lucky and it would go on toward Kyomei. Also, it might look like it was going to hit even if it was going to mess. Bah, too much thinking...
Axis was also tempted to hurl up a Bala and kill this guy or something, but he was too damn lazy to conjure up his reiatsu. That rock would have to do for the moment...It would be okay, actually. Fuck this guy and his stupid shit. Axis decided that maybe he should probably say something else. He turned around to face the Captain in the white Haori, and his reiatsu continued to pour out as a column. His output was massive. People all over the Rukon District were flattened onto the ground gasping for breath. They could not even breathe. Not only Axis, but Kyomei as well, were making it too difficult. It was safe to say that the Arrancar and the Captain together were killing the citizens with their auras.
"You couldn't make me leave no matter how hard you tried..." Axis declared.

Piss off... Piss off? The Arrancar shows up in Kyomei's home, and when the Kuchiki goes to put an end to it, the guy has the guts to tell him to Piss off? The Commander's temper started to rise, but he kept in control of himself. The Arrancar let loose his reiatsu by flexing, causing the ground to rise up from the force. This was potentially bad. Together they were killing the citizens of the Rukongai, something that the Kuchiki could not stand for. The guy looked like he wasn't going to budge, so instead of forcing him to move, Kyomei let his calm demeanor return to him. Logic and skill would put this menace down, even if he was superior to any Arrancar the Soul Society had ever faced on its own shores. The hunk of rock wasn't aimed well, but it was big enough to knock over Kyomei or damage some property if the Kidou Corps Commander allowed it to.
Kyomei allowed the rock to approach him, moving to stop it at the last moment. As soon as he touched it, he would wrap the rock in a veil of force. Tsuzuri Raiden was this Fusion's "Form" and Sho was this Fusion's "Effect". The form of Tsuzuri Raiden allowed the force of Sho to flow around the big rock, and through his mastery of Kidou the Kuchiki was able to apply the force of Sho however he wished. The rock would remain suspended right at his hand, then would be crushed and compacted as a strength of 1800 pushed on it from all sides. Smashed down to the mere size of a basketball, the rock dropped uselessly to the ground. It was impossibly heavy and dense. "You couldn't make me leave no matter how hard you tried..."
"Well I guess that's true. I don't run the Senkaimon after all. I'm just in charge of nuking things to Hell. That is where you Arrancar go when you're put down, isn't it?" Through the calmly spoken words, there was some seriously offensive connotations going on. Words like "things" and "put down" showed that the Shinigami thought of Arrancar as little better than animals, if not a little worse. In his life, he had only met Aimo and Gen. Gen was a fish, and Aimo was... well... Aimo. The berserker of a creature was more feral and with more monsterous tendencies than anything Kyomei had met, and he was lumping Axis into the same category as those two beasts. Was it an unfair prejudice, probably, but stubborn ignorance and loyalty to his people was a flaw Kyomei didn't want to overcome.
With his reiatsu not being flexed any more, the citizens would not be suffering as much, however, they were still suffering plenty at the hands of Axis. Arms raised parallel to the ground, out of Kyomei's sleeves shot two long ropes of energy. Using Horin as the Form and Gachan as the Effect of the Kidou, if he was ensnared by the Class 3 ropes that could be mentally controlled by the Kuchiki, then he'd find that his ability to use reiatsu would be completely cut off while those chains still wrapped around him. Meanwhile, Kyomei was standing calmly, folding his hands together and letting his mind do the work he needed it to. "You may think that invading our home and killing our people is amusing, Primera, but the day will come when your own home will be under attack. And it won't be so funny then."
Axis would probably be dumbfounded by the Kuchiki, might even burst out laughing. The Kidou Corps Commander once again showed ignorance as he completely misunderstood the rank and even the allegiance of Axis. It was known to the Seireitei, the existence of Las Noches. But the rebel faction known as Escudo was a bit more foreign to them. Sure, it made sense that not every hollow would wish to be under the rule of a Shinigami in Las Noches, but to organize and rise up under a different banner, and possess power rivaling that of one of the most famous Espada is different. Whatever the response of the Arrancar, Kyomei was about to have a big surprise if Axis decided to spill his allegiance and rank. And more importantly, his purpose.
Axis only needed one side step to dodge the attacks. He really did. It would be so easy...but that wasn't the same as what he wanted. Axis needed to demoralize his opponent. Demoralization was key here. He had been angered by this stupid ass Soul Reaper trying to claim power over him. There are a lot of things to do when you're pissed off. One of them is think illogically. Axis always thought illogically, though, because he was always bored. Fuck logic. Nothing is fun anyway. He had no rivals. He was all alone at the top of the world.
Axis disappeared using something which might surprise Kyomei. Paseo Del Agua, an Arrancar version of Shukuchi-Ho, brought Axis within Kyomei's guard within the first step of the movement. He weaved with that single glide, effectively dodging and circumventing around the pathway of the ropes, so that despite any guidance they might receive, he was able to stay out of their range at least until he reached to where the Soul Reaper was, well within the Soul Reaper's guard. Axis left a Bala from his left hand dropping toward Kyomei's legs, and the second step of Paseo Del Agua moved him around Kyomei again and away, out of immediate retaliation range.
Axis came to a stop and cracked his neck. The gigantic Bala would, if it was allowed to strike the ground, consume Kyomei in a large shockwave which would knock him away, and the huge thing would release its heat and power to turn the Kido Corps Commander's legs into ashes. The attack was initially easy to avoid. What was more troubling was probably that Axis had just used what was clearly some variant of Shukuchi-Ho, which was supposed to be a Soul Reaper's technique. Axis had literally, basically used a Soul Reaper's technique. And he knew that he had, and knew that Kyomei probably knew and recognized it too.
Axis coldly sneered. "Primera?" he asked. How insulting...really, though. What a stupid little assumption to make. Just because an Arrancar is strong, does not mean that he has to be an Espada...such stereotypical, racist bullshit. "Ehhhhh?" Axis made a noise just to emphasize his point that this was, in fact, completely wrong. Well, of course it was completely wrong. Why would Axis be affiliated with Las Noches? Las Noches was stupid, not to mention extremely weak...overrated too. No, he wouldn't be there. Well, actually, maybe an ignorant Soul Reaper wouldn't know about that. This guy probably didn't even know about the difference in organizations.
"You got it all wrong...." Axis said. "I ain't the Primera...I'm not even an Espada." Axis stuck out his tongue, which had tattoos on it, to show off his tongue. There was a clearly defined 2-0 on his tongue, which he then retracted back into his mouth. He had just been showing off a bit to get some attention from the Soul Reaper. "I'm a member of Escudo. We're a separate organization from Las Noches. We're a lot stronger than those scrubs sucking Sonken Kouhai's dick..." He did not reveal his mission's purpose, or even that he held a rank called Zarpa. Axis saved those details and savored what would be the next response to him.

There was a push of reiatsu in some manner, and suddenly the Arrancar was moving at incredible speeds. It was nothing compared to a shunpo or a sonido, but it was still incredibly fast for regular moment. It was curious, something to note, but nothing to worry about. As it turned out, the Kidou Corps Commander was not very knowledgeable at all when it came to Hakuda. Sure he knew of few things, but he didn't personally know how to perform any of it. The fact that Axis was using a technique nearly identical to a Shinigami Hakuda technique went right over the Kuchiki's head. Instead, he was focusing on the Bala headed for the ground near his legs. His hands were occupied, so he felt the need to fire his defense out of his knee cap instead.
With the difference in class just one, and Kyomei's reiatsu strength a fair bit higher, the Sho and the Bala would cancel each other out harmlessly, dispersing into the air. Meanwhile, Kyomei was Shunpoing straight backwards while spikes grew out of his arms. The iron spikes were red hot as they were filled with reiatsu of pure fire. The three spikes on each arm measuring six inches long that were now causing the Shinigami's arm to bleed slightly were born of Hado 55, Tetsu Supaiku, and the special technique known only to two in the Seireitei that was filling it with fire was Soshi Senjigusuri. The cutting power of the spikes increased significantly, and the speed in which the Shinigami traveled was quite possibly fast enough to put six burning holes in the Arrancar's chest.
"It doesn't matter whether you are Escudo, Las Noches, or even if you're allied to a toilet, you still kill for fun. And for that, it is my job to satiate your hunger forever."

Axis noted Kyomei gliding towards him with a Shunpo, attempting to ram him as he came to a stop, and this was absolutely amusing. Flaming spikes were headed for the Escudo member, but it didn't matter...This guy was just a scrub too, in the end. To think that he could even keep up on the same level as an Escudo, despite not even being at an Espada's level, was quite the daunting arrogance from a Soul Reaper, but Axis was willing to let it go on account of what was probably ignorance of what the Escudo organization actually was...
Still, Kyomei had made the most grave of errors in attempting to get within close quarters of the most powerful close-up combatant in all of Hueco Mundo, which Axis most certainly believed he could claim himself as. First off, Axis noticed early on that the spikes had a higher reiatsu strength. He had an absolute focus on Kyomei's every move which was so precise, that not even the most minute of details could escape him. The cutting strength of those spikes was enough to get through Hardened Hierro, and those flames would add some extra bite as well. Shunpo also made the movement incredibly fast, and under most circumstances, difficult to avoid.
Axis, having been prepared, could have used Sonido. However, in the moment it took for Kyomei to prepare everything, including creating the spikes and Sho in the precious seconds prior to his actual Shunpo, Axis had already analyzed the entire situation, noting the great reiatsu strength behind Kyomei's attacks, the lack of Zanpakuto at his side, and the high power of the flaming spikes. He also noted the charging of more reiatsu, and the gathering at the feet which indicated that incoming step technique. It meant that Axis would have trouble guarding, but it meant that Kyomei would, if intercepted, be unable to do anything about it. He blitzed himself very quickly, like a bull rush, into a retaliation.
Axis's first order of business was to initiate Verre with a simple mental willing, altering his Hierro to utilize the Escudo brand Hierro supplement, powering his defensive capacity to be significantly beyond Kyomei's attack power. It was a costly measure, but Axis took it because he was in the mood to do so. This would ensure he was guarded perfectly against the attack, but it was far more than that. Axis was also concocting his retaliation while this was all going on. Kyomei, in Shunpo, was on a set course now. Too late to stop himself as he blasted backwards like a rocket ship. Yes, he would impact Axis, but two things would happen.
First, the spikes with the flames on them would shatter against Axis's vastly superior defensive ability, and second, the physical contact would release something else. In addition to initiating Verre with a mental thought, Axis had used the properties of Hardened Hierro, which allowed him to actually coat his Hierro or any extension of it in his techniques. As soon as Kyomei slammed into Axis, he was hit by several things all at once, and these would be the beginning of the end from the very start against his opponent, and would make the rest of the battle extremely difficult for Kyomei. This was why Axis had steeled himself to be slammed by Kyomei.
As soon as Kyomei impacted Axis, it became clear that in addition to activating Verre, Axis had simultaneously coated his Hierro with two techniques. Bala, and Electrica. Both Arrancar techniques, they were exceedingly powerful in that they truly condensed reiatsu far more than most Soul Reaper techniques. Electrica, at Axis's reiatsu strength, was highly potent as an electric shock, and as soon as Kyomei made that contact and his spikes shattered, he would be covered in powerful electricity in countless volts, a massive voltage which would electrocute his body and not only numb, but heavily paralyze him for several seconds, or even more, depending on how good his ability to take damage was.
This, in addition to what came next, of course was impossible for him to guard against, given he had done a rocket ship into Axis at that distance, and it wouldn't become clear that such an effect was possible until he actually contacted Axis with those spikes. In addition to the Electrica however, there was a regular Bala, not just one turned into Electrica. The contact not only shocked Kyomei, but generated a backlash of powerful reiatsu across his back, consuming Kyomei's entire back side because of the size of the Bala as a result of Axis's reiatsu strength. From legs to the back of the head, Kyomei would be covered in searing, scarring burns on the behind, with skin heavily fried and much of what lay under exposed.
This was not all, however. Axis had one more trick up his sleeve. As soon as Kyomei hit, he utilized Hectic Healing as well, after the other effects had already taken place, and popped skin areas along his chest very lightly, just enough to create superficial bleeding. The blood splattered across Kyomei's back, and some soared over Kyomei's shoulder and past eye view. This was Axis's way of tricking Kyomei into believing that the Arrancar was injured by the attack, even if the spikes had totally failed. Axis, after Kyomei was struck by all of this at once, jumped back with a skid to move away.
Oi oi oi oi oi...Did he just try to ram me like that so early in the fight? That's bold...Heh... Axis thought to himself.
"Tcheh," Axis said. "Enough." His body suddenly shifted positions. The air around him changed completely. This guy was just a complete scrub, anyway. Things were about to get far more dicey and difficult for Kyomei. A Bala materialized on Axis's right hand, held there in a very condensed, Ball-like form. It was smaller than most of his Bala, and in fact was only around the size of a basketball. "I just don't think straight up combat is my thing..." Axis admitted as he began to shift his feet around in unorthodox, non-sensical movements. Suddenly, if Kyomei observed Axis, his body seemed to shift around in a manner impossible to predict.
Axis began to bounce the Bala around on the ground, back and forth. He was extremely skilled at it, and his footwork also made it extremely difficult to predict or even fully see and visualize what he was doing in order to move. This foot technique, Fancy Feet, made all of Axis's movements extremely unclear and unreadable, and therefore also made predicting the trajectory of the ball that he was bouncing utterly impossible. Still, he bounced it around, switching hands here and there, and even bouncing between his legs and turning it back around to his hands. The superficial bleeding wounds he had created on himself sealed up with a steaming hiss, a use of Hectic Healing.
Axis continued to bounce the ball around, grinning as he did. Suddenly, using Paseo Del Agua once again, he was in front of Kyomei, materializing within the Soul Reaper's guard. The few second warm up with the ball had been very rhythmic, but Kyomei would not have been able to capitalize on the opportunity as a result of extreme paralysis from Electrica. As Axis appeared before Kyomei, it was entirely possible that the Soul Reaper would even still be paralyzed from that heavy electric circuiting, and would have even more trouble with this move. However, as Axis appeared within Kyomei's guard, it would appear that Axis was five meters to the left sometimes, and within Kyomei's guard at others.
In fact, neither was true, but the constant shifting of Axis's body using Fancy Feet made both appear to be the case depending on what angle it was observed at. In actuality, Axis was four meters to Kyomei's right, but Fancy Feet made judging that and coming to such a conclusion impossible, as his unorthodox movements made it impossible to fully visualize him. Still bouncing the ball around Kyomei, creating confusing weaving patterns, Axis suddenly let the Bala slip from his grasp, putting some spin on it so that as it touched the ground, it spun and ended up in the air behind Kyomei, at mid back level, and started dropping toward Kyomei's back from that position. If it hit, there would be enormous burns, perhaps a hole in Kyomei if it stayed the same size, and other consequences.
Simultaneously, Axis lashed out with one of his legs, putting pressure onto his left toe and pressing onto the ground, but bringing his right leg into a whirling kick toward Kyomei's face. It was an extremely strange movement, and Axis's stance was completely unorthodox. Since Kyomei knew nothing of Hakuda, he wouldn't recognize that it was a heavily Hakuda influenced stance, but he also would barely be able to visualize Axis moving to begin with. Even the trajectory of the kick would be impossible to predict or fully visualize, appearing sometimes to be headed for the mid section, others for the throat. But, it was coming for the head.
Axis had stopped screwing around very early on, as he had noted the boldness of this opponent meant that he would be an easy target, and he was annoyed by the verbal spouting that this scrub had been doing. At some points, more words trailed from Axis and echoed near Kyomei, though when Axis had spoken was uncertain. "You're so damn self righteous, but it doesn't matter, I'm not annoyed by your holier-than-thou Soul Reaper attitude...You guys are just a bunch of losers anyway..." Trash talk was also an important facet of combat, and Axis wasn't bad with annoying his opponents. Still, Kyomei was already in a pickle.

OOC: Sorry this is so late, but I finally am just going to post, even if I can't match the length of your post. Because seriously, dude, I drowned in all the fluff.
Kyomei's shunpo ram turned out to be one of the worst things he could have done. Suddenly there was a shift in the reiatsu surrounding the Arrancar, and even though the Kuchiki thought he was powerful enough to pierce the armor of Axis, he found out that he was completely and utterly wrong. Though he couldn't see it as he was facing in the wrong direction, black tattoos of flames were on the man's skin, and because of that technique, he was currently unable to be cut through. As the Kidou Corps Commander slammed into the Zarpa, his iron spikes shattered, sending fragments all across his body.
But that wasn't all. Axis had augmented his body with electricity, and while it was very low classed, it was still extremely potent in reiatsu. Collapsing to his knees and palms, all the Kuchiki could do was shield himself in the aura of the shards of metal sticking out of his back and hope the pain would go away soon. He wouldn't feel the blood splash onto his body because of the thick layer of reiatsu that he had armored himself with. That was potentially good for Axis, since the Shinigami didn't yet know about his healing abilities and wouldn't be able to act on such knowledge.
Choosing to recover his breath, as the electricity from Axis' counter had burned especially in the spots of Kyomei's back that had embedded iron, for a moment the Shinigami stayed on the ground. He watched as the Arrancar moved in ways that his eyes could barely follow, every movement a surprise. Despite his excellent instincts, they just weren't enough in this situation. So with the ball of energy at his feet, and his body moving in a hypnotic fashion, Axis would cause Kyomei to be unable to formulate a plan of defense. But he didn't really need one in this case.
The Aura of Metal that Kyomei had wrapped around his whole body was far superior to Axis' Bala. The attack would do nothing to the Kuchiki, and the flying kick would do little more than turn his head slightly. They were evenly matched in strength, and though the Arrancar's armor was tougher than Kyomei's, that didn't mean that his offensive power was nearly enough to try to crack the shield surrounding the Kidou Corps Commander. "You come to my home... Threaten my people... Taunt me... That sounds like you're pretty self-righteous yourself."
The pain, by now, had subsided, and though his back still stung from the shards of metal poking into it, he was cushioned enough to prevent the pieces moving any more and causing a bigger wound. Though he knew he wouldn't be intimidating, he still stood up straight, defiantly showing that he wouldn't stay bowed to the Arrancar. Axis hadn't finished off Kyomei yet; this fight was just getting started. Again Kyomei flexed his reiatsu, but not in an attempt to crush anything. Exerting the power needed to exude an aura of intimidation, the Shinigami ensured that all citizens of the district of the Rukongai fled. Absolutely none of them would remain when Kyomei was spreading the feeling of fear among the spiritually empty souls.
"If you're so superior to the Arrancar of Las Noches, then let's see where your values lie. Are you a monster like the rest, or are you actually capable of acting like a civilized being. Do we have a common enemy in Las Noches, or are the Escudo also against the Soul Society and our balance between the three worlds."

Axis stopped after his attack, coming to a complete halt as he moved past Kyomei and managed to get several yards away. In actuality, he had simply allowed the trajectory of his leg to go off course as he'd continued moving, for it had been nothing but a distraction to get the Bala to strike. Axis's legs did not even strike Kyomei's head, and would just move over it, positioning Axis back into a moving position. This allowed the Zarpa to actually blur past Kyomei and get several yards behind him, standing there at a close enough distance to hear, but with his back to his opponent. The Bala, notably, had done nothing to Kyomei, though it had left a few specks of dust on the Soul Reaper to indicate that a stronger attack might have actual success, whereas a weaker one would only dull the coloring.
Standing there, Axis glanced back at Kyomei, the Kido Corps Commander's words growing more and more irritating to him with each passing second. "Eh...?" Axis made a grunting noise to show his disgruntled confusion at some of what Kyomei had said, but also to express his complete irritation at it as well. This guy was too loud...He really needed to learn to stop talking so damn much... At some point it just became incessant rambling and buzzing. If Axis didn't know any better from what he saw, he'd say that this guy was an old man. Hell, maybe the Soul Reaper really was an old man, just disguising himself as a young person so that he could flirt with women. There were plenty of old perverts like that in Soul Society, right?
"Oi...you talk too damn much..." Axis told his opponent. "I really couldn't care less about civilization, or common enemies, or balance, or any of that shit..." He didn't look at Kyomei when he spoke, and instead kept his back to his opponent. It wasn't that he was too prideful or that he was mocking the Soul Reaper, though. Actually, Axis was just too lazy. It would be such a godamn pain to turn around to face his opponent's back, or to move again so that their eyes locked...It wasn't worth the effort. Hell, doing another attack wasn't even worth the effort. "Anyway..." Axis continued. "I didn't even fuckin' come here to attack, you bastard...I fuckin' woke up here, asked some racist shithead for directions, he got scared cause he was a dick, and then you started fuckin' attacking me..."
Axis really was annoyed that he had woken up somewhere and been attacked, especially by someone at this level. The Soul Reaper might be impressive in most high level circles, and maybe someone like an Espada would consider him powerful, but Axis consider all of those people, including the Espada, as just a bit of a bore. Hell, they couldn't even fight him in his sealed state. How did they expect to be able to fight him in any other way as well? Godamn. Axis noticed the intimidating aura being pumped out, and saw that all of the citizens had begun to flee as well. He sighed in exasperation, like a teacher trying to get through to a student who just didn't care and wanted to sleep through all of class.
"There's no use fighting any further..." Axis informed Kyomei. "Your maw's not big enough to clamp around me...I don't even have to yawn to bite you...But fuck, I don't even have the motivation to fight you, and you sure as hell don't have the health to fight me..." This was the problem that Kyomei faced by fighting Axis as well. Earlier, he had been numbed and electrocuted by lightning, so he would not have noticed it at first, and the Bala would have fried a lot of nerves either, so it made sense for the effect not to begin for a few seconds. However, across Kyomei's heavily damaged back, where the Bala which had been laced into Axis's Hierro along with Electrica had resided, there was visible damage which went down to his sinews, muscles, etc. It was a deep burn, and unveiled a huge amount of the back's inner circuitry.
This was the secondary purpose to getting blood there. Axis's blood had a latent, passive effect of poison. The effect was immediate, though feeling it had been delayed by the burn damage and the electricity. The second Bala may have done nothing, but all that needed to hit was the first and the Electrica, both of which had. The blood, which had landed on Kyomei and gotten under his skin (since all skin had been burned off) had let its particles into his system. That latent effect of Axis's blood, to produce venom inside of the victim, was just then beginning to show its effects. Once the numbness of the electricity began to wear off, Kyomei would suddenly feel immeasurable, indescribable pain across his back, starting from where the blood had hit, and working its way around. It was like that spot was on fire and was being carved up by knives both at the same time.
It was even worse than what Kyomei might get from overusing his reiatsu, or from something worse. The pain was something which was comparable to the bite of the likes of a Brazilian wandering spider, making that particular venom so painful, that no adequate wording could truly describe it. It was this that Kyomei would feel coursing through his body, starting in a small part of his back, but spreading. Axis however did not move throughout that entire time, and stood there talking. However, when Axis was talking, then at some point Kyomei's pain would start. "This is all fucking pointless..." Axis admitted. "I don't even feel like fighting you, even if you are a damned Soul Reaper."

OOC:If I remember correctly, this thread was basically done and you just wanted Kyomei's reactions to Axis' words. If not, I can edit more stuff in.
The Arrancar and the Shinigami were at a standstill. Axis didn't want to fight Kyomei, and Kyomei couldn't hurt him, not with that near impenetrable Verre of the Zarpa protecting him. And if he wasn't going to expend reiatsu, the Kidou Corps Commander would destroy himself with the pain of casting techniques before any real damage was caused to Axis. And his story was just so strange. "You mean to tell me... that you just woke up here? So you sleep walk... between worlds? How... interesting... So if I help you get out of here, you'll go right back to undermining Las Noches? I think that can work to both of our advantages."

Wasn't a real draw (more of just a lack of a conclusion to combat), but you guys were actually civil IC, which is so damn rare on this forum that I'll still split the victory bonus nonetheless.
40 paragraphs for Axis. 400+50=450TP awarded. 18 paragraphs for Kyomei. 180+50=230TP awarded.
