OOC: Forgive my short post. I am burnt out from work.
Erakos was attacking Adalo. Adalo's smile widened. "Scream..." he exhaled. Explosions made reiatsu that blew away the Ogatago. This prevented his attack. Adalo was snarling and grinning. The Ogatago would fail in his attack. He would redirect to Rio as the black reiatsu stopped. Adalo was shown in his released form. "FANTASMA..." he completed. His hair was white. His eyes were black. His skin was pale white. He had no more shirt on. A white sword was in his hand. Blood ran down from his hollow hole. Adalo had released for attack. There was no force that could stop Adalo from that point on. Adalo saw the trajectory at which Erakos was moving. He threw his sword. It spun, and landed point first in the dirt next to Rio. All around Rio, even on Rio, blackness consumed the floor.
It did this as Erakos landed. Erakos and Rio would be hit by this. Both would immediately become blind. Both would lose all of their senses instantly. This would keep happening while they kept contact with the black ground. The inside of the hole had limited space. The whole ground was black. There was no escape for either one of them. They were trapped. Importantly, Erakos was trapped. He was vulnerable to Zeruel's giant Cero. The Cero had a hole that would let it pass harmlessly over Rio. The Cero would still hit Erakos. Since he was stunned by Adalo's attack, he would probably die there and turn to ash. Adalo had no other things to think about or to say. It was end game. Ogatago #2, you were an unworthy adversary.
Amid the smoke, the explosion of Zeruel's Cero had pushed Erakos up and out of the hole. The shock force had pushed him out of it, and back onto the ground. Meanwhile, his release forms had all faded, and thus Rio was freed of his fate of dark matter as well. His density returned to normal, he could leave the hole and return to normal as well. The only thing that would otherwise prevent this was Adalo's Zanpakuto and the black pit that it created which robbed Rio of his senses. Erakos lay on the ground, and slowly got back up. Contrary to popular belief, he had not been turned to ash. His power had been great enough that upon his potential demise, his releases had all exploded off of his body in a torrent of reiatsu that saved him from immediately turning to ash.
Standing there, no shirt on his body, steam pouring from his skin, Erakos eyed Adalo and Zeruel. He did not eye Rio, for Rio was in a hole behind him. Erakos's eyes burned a hole into the souls of Zeruel and Adalo, so intensely did he pierce them with his gaze. So intensely did he glare at them, it was as if he believed that he could melt them by looking at them. As the steam continued to roll off of his body, his mouth opened up just a little bit, as if to speak. It opened up slowly, in a dull manner which indicated either that he needed it to breathe, catch his breath to begin with, or speak to the two Arrancar in front of him and to the one behind him that he was not looking at. Erakos's mouth opened as if to say something.
And then he fell forwards, his mouth closing as he collapsed dead onto the ground from Zeruel's Cero. He had not even gotten in his last word. Erakos merely faceplanted, his body falling down. It had been quite miraculous for the three Arrancar to avoid being injured, but they had used a lot of reiatsu up at the same time. Fighting three Espada had clearly of course been arrogant of Erakos. As his body fell and hit the ground, his reiatsu signature vanished. And in an instant, it was clear that it had ended. And just like that, so ended the life of Ogatago #2, Erakos Sono Kanadzuchi. The Hammer had been dulled. The enemy had been killed. The three could return home now if they wished. But...something in the air...simply did not seem right.
