Well, Seeing as how I am stuck on my making my captain, and we're all waiting for me ... I figured I'd create this thread to "get the creative juices flowing", as they say. This has all the rules of a basic thread. Only difference is, I'll be using what I HOPE to have for Krieger, seeing as how he is not accepted yet. I will post an intro, once somebody responds. Or two people. No more than that, though.
P.S. This is OOC. obviously.
"Pain? You think this is pain? You're wrong. Pain is watching your village burn because you weren't fast enough to stop the bomb. Pain is starving because you aren't strong enough to work. Pain is watching your family suffer, simply because you're too weak to earn your keep. This? This is a walk in the park. Enjoy this: where you're going, pain is constant." - Kreiger Herz, on Pain

OOC: Sweet. So, basically, I want this thread to be exactly like a normal thread. A little bit of everything. This is OOC, as in the characters won't remember it, much like the Canon Threads. Other than that, though, this is basically a normal thread.
Oh. Zeruel Moreno de Las Noches IX. I did not plan for this to be truly fighting thread. It is, if anything, a "first Mission" type thread. I'm going to have him as like ... his first mission, scouting out two rather large Reaitsu that had gathered in Hueco Mundo ...

OOC: Use Velnias. Lol. Maybe you'll come up with something to make him even MORE awesome. Anyway, after I finish this movie I'll post my intro. Kuroi, if you want, you can post an intro as well.

The newly anointed captain of Squad 3, his white, soot stained leather smock tieing down his white Haori, his black, fringed Shikahusho dirty from his days in the forge, was sprawled out on the rooftops of the Squad 3 Barracks, his immense bulk relaxed, and his arms - like summer hams - were casually behind his head. His shoulder length blonde hair was matted and tangled, his strong chin and muscular hands scarred and burned from the flecks of embers flying off the forge ... yet his bright, electric blue eyes, half-lidded, were unerringly active, flicking back and forth. His eyes slowly closed as a breath escaped his massive chest, his entire 7'1, 450 pounds persona relaxing on the rooftops. A couple tiles cracked under his weight as he shifted; the entire section of the roof seemed to be sagging. With an irritated flick of his eyebrows, like trying to dislodge an irksome bug, his eyes flicked open again. He shot a curious glance as loud voices arose from the windows under him, his squad members freaking out about something. He sighed heavily again and stood up, thick leather boots cracking the tiles underneath him. An unseated member of his squad, out of breath and fearful, approached him. The female spoke up, "Um ... eh ... uh ... H-herz-taichou?"
He glanced around, bewildered, before he noticed the small girl before him. He crouched down, carefully spreading his legs to even out the distribution of weight. With a thick germanic accent, he said Speak up, child!! I cannot hear you! The female Soul Reaper looked shocked - perhaps at his request, perhaps at his vocie - then nodded her head shyly. "Um ... Herz-taichou. You're late! I-if you don't go now, you'll miss the senkaimon! Kreiger looked shocked. I had a mission ... today, right? With a booming laugh, he ruffled the hair of the young girl, tugging it out of its tight ponytail. He ran then, leaping off the rooftops and, despite his massive size, landed with hardly a puff of dirt or a sound. He quickly disappeared into the distance. At the Senkaimon, Kreiger slowed at the angry looks of the 13th division members. Shaking his hair, he ignored the angry tirades of the members. Though they never ranted for long, usually with a quick glance to the 5 foot Zweihander strapped to his back, or his 4 foot katana on his waist. With an intimidating wink back at the members of the 13th Court Guard Squad, he stepped through the Senkaimon.
---The Next Day---
Captain Kreiger Herz, one of the most intimidating and largest soul reapers in the soul society ... was stuck squatting in the dirt with a sheet over him and a pair of binoculars stuck to his eyeballs, at the edge of a decent sized field. He was even dirtier than before, and that was saying something. He was irritable, angry, and tired. Yet, there was something. This area was frequented by large energy signatures, at least Arrancar level, if not higher. So, he crouched here hour after hour, waiting, completely silent. Just when he was about to report in ... something happened. Energy thrilling through his body, he watched as a lone figure strolled into the field. With a silent laugh to himself at the slight figure before him, he expanded his senses. Suddenly, he stiffened. His reaitsu ... was HUGE!!! But ... how? Surely ... he wasn't an Espada?! Not this wimpling. Well, Kreiger wasn't going to sit here and wait. Perhaps due in part to the last day of complete boredom, he threw off the sheet and rose to his full 7'1 demeanor. Despite his dirty demeanor, as he strode forward, he still let off an aura of power. He slowly reached to his back and pulled his Zweihander Zanpakutou out of its bindings. Oddly, he ignored the katana on his hip.
With a brutish, gleeful smile, he yelled in his germen accent, "Ay, there! Are you an Espada?!" He inquired, still coming questioningly closer. In what seemed like no time at all, he was a mere 10 feet away, his entire weight leaning on the tip of the blade, which was pressed into the dirt. Not that it matters. You are an arrancar. So unless you have a job for me, I must finish you. Despite his hauntingly sorrowful words, his eyes danced with glee as he hefted his blade.
That's all for the template. There are a LOT of stats, but don't get choosy and just give some to all. The result could be quite negative.

Post by Zeruel Moreno de Las Noches IX on Oct 19, 2011 0:19:21 GMT -5
ENTER LAS NOCHES' ORIGINAL GUARDIAN: ZERUEL
Zeruel looked up into the sky, the moon was out and it was beaming down on the field he was in with all its majesty. “Ah Luna...” he said with a serious expression looking up at his favorite feature of the sky. Zeruel Moreno de Las Noches IX was actually the second oldest arrancar in Sonken Kouhai’s army, right behind the decima espada, Cain. Cain, being the first hollow ever, was older then pretty much everyone. Either way, the age gap between Zeruel and the average arrancar was enormous. To put things in perspective, there was not a single espada older than 6,065 years. Zeruel was over 35,000 years old and lived on another plain of existence from the rest of the arrancar. Zeruel saw things as one with years of experience would see them. He was wise, caring, and understanding, but above all he was reclusive. This was not to say that Zeruel didn’t interact with his fellow arrancar. On the contrary, Zeruel interacted quite a bit with his hollow brethren. The Exequias simply masked his true personality when speaking with all but the closest of friends. The arrancar was aware that he’d likely outlive any friends he made, so Zeruel stopped trying to make friends. The arrancar was tired of the pain involved in developing relationships with people and simply wished to enjoy the company of others without getting too involved with them. It was a defense mechanism Zeruel needed to employ in order to maintain his sanity and not break down emotionally every time he saw someone die.
“Luna, won’t you cry for me? I’m as lonely as I’ve ever been...” whispered Zeruel as he gazed up at the moon. Suddenly the arrancar heard a noise and looked in Krieger’s direction as the captain approached him. “How long has he been watching?!” thought Zeruel as Captain Herz made his entrance. Immediately the arrancar put on his false personality, the one meant to distance himself from people. Krieger would notice a devilish grin spread across his face revealing a vicious looking set of teeth.
“Ay, there! Are you an espada?!” came the voice, “Not that it matters. You are an arrancar. So unless you have a job for me, I must finish you.” Zeruel grinned maliciously at the captain. His face looked like a demon’s and his eyes conveyed that he relished killing. “Kekekekeke...” cackled Zeruel in response to the captain, “Nonsense... I’m not strong enough to be an espada... I’m merely a humble Exequias Second...” Zeruel wasn’t telling the captain everything. In reality he could probably usurp a few of the top espada spots, but he chose not to. Zeruel was actually rather humble, even if his expression right now didn’t show it. “Ay there!” continued the arrancar in a fake German accent meant to make fun of Krieger’s, “Are you a captain?”
He arrived without being showy. Or at least, it was by his own opinion that he decided it wasn't flashy. It was the ordinary entrance for him, and in reality it was quite flashy for him to appear in that manner. Admittedly, there were far more explosive ways that he could have entered. In the end though, he still chose to enter in that way. When he got there, the monster took two casual steps out of that which appeared as his red curtain to guide him there. One instant, Zeruel and Kreiger would be alone together, simply speaking. Next, just as Zeruel went to mock Kreiger, it would happen. Both of them would notice it all at once, and all at the same time.
It was a horrendous aura that crushed down on them in an instant. That was the first signaling that something was coming. It was as if night suddenly descended on that which was day, and it was as if the sun suddenly ceased to exist, blotted out. It was as if eternal Winter had arrived. The grass in the field seemed to blacken at first, and all who were present would fill the icy aura. They might even feel the fear radiating off of this one. It was an aura that descended to grant fear. Of all those within Las Noches, the newcomer here had the reputation for having the darkest, most sinister and terrifying aura. No one had the same presence as he did, that was for certain. His aura made everything seem depressing and dark, even if at first nothing changed. And then, at the last instant, things really did change.
The sky suddenly turned black as the storm clouds gathered over the field, and thunder boomed and roared with his coming. He was heralded by twisted winds, the levity of their laughter bringing more condescending chills that cackled at all the weaknesses of anyone around. The air seemed to split as flames erupted into existence. It looked at first like a Garganta, but it tore open in an unveiling of red, and it was a tear not only made of, but filled with vicious, burning hot and red and orange flames. It looked like Hell had arrived there, even if it hadn't. However, with this sudden coming, one of its great inhabitants had. Not unfamiliar to powerful adversaries, old adversaries, or anything on the same lines, having come from Hell, this one that arrived showed up without any remorse as to interrupting the conversation. When he stepped forth from the red Garganta, the flames instantly dissolved away, as if snuffed out by his existence.
The darkness that seemed to permeate from him snaked to the very deepest core and soul of both Zeruel and Kreiger. No one could feel nothing, unless otherwise accustomed to where this one had journeyed from in his first days in Las Noches. In other words, those who had never experienced it previously would feel the fear, and those who did not would know their marking as former or current residents of Hell. Only those of Hell would be used to such an aura. That was how it worked. The one who arrived was terrifying to say the least. His body was tall, and stood upright. Of course, he was actually short for an Akki, but still rather tall in general. His body was covered in some sort of gray colored plated armor. Over the back and the front, it was covered by some sort of waving red fabric, moving as if wind constantly blew it. If one looked at it carefully, it appeared to be made of energy of some kind. No...wait. Sparks. Electricity. Lightning! It appeared to be made of extremely small, and red bolts of constantly moving lightning. And, sparks of bright blue lightning shrieked and erupted all around him. Was that...his reiatsu?! He was so formidable that his reiatsu could take a physical appearance identical to lightning. His body except for the head wasn't quite visible because of the armor, but typically looked normal human since he wore armor. His hands were quite odd, however. They were ice blue, and they were not flesh it appeared, but a rather thick bone substance. His head was white bone, a skeletal head. White hair overflowed from the top of his head, long. And, a large crown rested atop his head, made of gold, and striking outwards like a trident.
His hands actually resembled human hands that wore leather gloves, albeit ice blue instead of any other color. However, they couldn't be mistaken for normal hands. They were clawed like a beast's. They appeared to be fashioned from bone, but a further inspection would indicate the ice blue was some sort of covering, like skin, but not friendly in the same way as flesh would be. It was also hard, and cold. His eye sockets were filled only with a screen of blackness. This one who had come was Velnias Vyras. He was on an entirely different level from anyone that was Arrancar or Shinigami, for he was Envainar. As two others had proven, the Akki, the Envainar, were on a level completely above anything anyone else could reach in Las Noches. Their power was not something that could be reached by Captains or Espada alike. And this monster was the Tercera Envainar. He was strong, unbelievably strong.
His chains were not visible in that moment, but it could be assumed he had them somewhere. All Akki had their chains, proof of being sinners. However, he did hold one certain weapon. Easily as tall as he was, he had a large metal staff, very long. No, wait. It wasn't a staff. It was a cleaver. On the very end, this was an enormous blade that looked big enough to cut even Velnias in half. However, he held it quite easily. No one could have guessed how heavy the thing actually was. It had a weight far exceeding any other weapon around. Velnias...was strong. And upon his arrival, he could only watch the two, and keep his eye directly upon them.

Ay ... it seems creativity is a bit lacking in Hueco Mundo, eh? He arched a large blond eyebrow. Yeh ain't an Espada, eh? Well, yeh still pretty strong. He laughed heartily; his demeanor and tone of voice implied he was simply talking about the weather, not imminent destruction. He ignored the question about him being a captain, as if his reaitsu and his Captains haori didn't answer that question sufficiently. Oy, almost forgot! What is yeh name, boy? I make it to a point to learn the names of the ones I beat to a pulp! He chuckled, his enormous chest rising and falling with that motion. He rose an immense hand and ran it through his hair, dislodging dirt and the such. He grinned devilishly at Zeruel, and though he lacked pointed teeth, it was just as disconcerting as Zeruel's was.
However, something seemed off: what seemed like a localized storm blasted over the field, and fear resounded in the deepest parts of the Squad 3 Captains soul. He flinched outwardly, his Zweihander coming up to block a blow he new was coming. His mind took him back to the hour, ages and ages ago, when he was took weak, too afraid, to save his town from the horrors that would soon besiege it. His flesh relieved the multiple wounds he had received and the fear that accompanied them. With his very emotions betraying him, he flash stepped backwards, his sword carving a line in the ground, as it had fallen dug into the ground. Doggedly, he shook his head, clearing his betraying mind of the images it procured. He hefted his Zweihander again as a red ... thing appeared above him, and from it ... came what could only be Satan. A skeletal figure, complete with a crown, alighted on the ground. His eyes once again blazing with battle-readiness, he shouted out, What are yeh doing?! This was a private matter. He yelled this loudly, boldly, countering the fear that was still quaking inside him. Silently, he told himself Better to be released for this ... His zanpakutou spirit, Eisenkugel Verhau, who was asleep for most of the exchange, arose. Aye ... let me rip them ... tear them ... Kreiger grinned at the bloodlust of his zanpakutou spirit.
He held his zanpakutou blade straight out in front of him, as if pointing it. He stated, Andern Und Ausweiden, Eisenkugel! At first, nothing seemed to happen. Then, his blade started to fold in on itself, with all the sounds of screeching metal that followed. With a quick toss, he threw the blade in the air, where it stayed, levitating. In that time, it had melted down and formed a simple, steel grey ball, floating about a foot above Kreiger's head. He himself was empty handed, though said hands were just about as deadly as any weapon. Free-for-all, eh? I know how all yeh Arrancar are bloodthirsty! A fight can't be that much out of the ordinary. He winked then, a slow wink. Not a friendly "I-know-something-you-don't-know" wink. A "I-am-going-to-kill-you-in-the-most-painful-way-possible" wink.
Remaining Reaitsu: 780/830 (-50 for Reiatsu) Shikai: 1/10
OOC: And thus, let it commence.
PS. I figured, since this is turning out be a battle thread, I needed a rule on techniques. If techniques are used, we MUST post them here, along with wanted drawbacks and effects, as well as reiatsu cost, etc etc in a OOC Side.

Zeruel smiled, ignoring the captain’s remark about his creativity, “Yeh ain't an Espada, eh? Well, yeh still pretty strong.” The arrancar’s smile didn’t disappear as he responded to Kreiger, “Why thank you, and you’re pretty big...” The captain continued speaking, “Oy, almost forgot! What is yeh name, boy? I make it to a point to learn the names of the ones I beat to a pulp!” To this Zeruel blinked a few times before he began to laugh. “KekekekekekeKEKEKEKE!!!” suddenly bursting out in a fit of snickering, “Beat me to a pulp... Kekekeke... You have no idea how big of a favor you’d be doing me...” Zeruel wiped tears of laughter away from his eyes as he looked up at the captain, “Mi nombre es Zeruel Moreno de Las Noches IX”
The Exequias Second didn’t know whether Captain Krieger knew Spanish or not, so he repeated what he said in English while bowing to show reverence and respect to the captain, “My name is Zeruel Moreno de Las Noches IX, at your service...” At that very moment a sinister aura would fill the area and begin to send chills down the arrancar’s spine. His smile disappeared to be replaced with a pensive expression. Things had just escalated beyond serious and Zeruel knew it. This was the reiatsu of an Akki, a creature from hell, a monstrosity of mercilessness, and from the feel of it, it was a strong one. Sweat began forming on Zeruel’s forehead as a wide grin returned to his face. He was nervous but he was simply masking his true feelings like he did the majority of the time. “Maybe I’ll be lucky and he’ll recognize me as an ally...” thought Zeruel as he watched Velnias step out of the red Garganta, “After all, Sonken Kouhai has been gathering these creatures for his cause. Aw, who am I kidding? These types would kill for the chance to kill something...”
Zeruel stepped backwards, away from Velnias as the Envainar eyed both of them with ill intent. “Luna... What would you do in a situation like this?” thought the Exequias as he kept his eyes glued on the akki. “What are yeh doing?! This was a private matter,” stated the captain before releasing his blade. “You idiot!” thought Zeruel as he stared, wide-eyed at the shinigami’s release. “Free-for-all, eh? I know how all yeh Arrancar are bloodthirsty! A fight can't be that much out of the ordinary,” continued Krieger. “All arrancar are bloodthirsty you say? You know nothing...” thought Zeruel, “Fine... if that’s the way you want it... I’ll play things your way...” The arrancar put his hand around his zanpakutou, which was sheathed at his side. The unique thing about Zeruel’s sheath was the fact it had a slit on the front running all the way down from the top of the sheath to the very tip. This tiny slit allowed the arrancar to draw his blade in an instant since he could simply pull his zanpakutou directly through the side of his sheath.
Zeruel didn’t draw his blade though. Something kept him from committing such an act, perhaps it was the fact his opponent was an akki, or perhaps it was the fact the moon was out tonight. The Exequias felt like he needed to at least try to do things Luna’s way. If he could leave without anyone being hurt, then it would all be worth it. “Akki! Wait! If you have any respect or loyalty towards Sonken Kouhai you will listen to what I have to say,” Zeruel gritted his sharp teeth and continued talking, “Please don’t hurt him... He’s really no threat to us. Killing him is pointless... Let’s just go.” Zeruel hoped that Velnias would recognize him as an ally and listen to him on top of that. The arrancar knew that the chances of Velnias seeing him as an ally were slim, and the chances of Velnias actually listening to him were even slimmer, but at least now Zeruel could say that he tried to end things without bloodshed. The Exequias wouldn’t be able to forgive himself if he hadn’t done his absolute best to spread peace and tranquility the way Luna would have done.
As opposed to the other Envainar, and also contrary to popular belief about Akki in general, Velnias did not lack proper logic capabilities. He wasn't consumed by rage at all times, and he didn't kill everything in sight. He didn't want to inflict massive agony or torture people into nothingness. His mission was to help cause and spread chaos within the worlds. That was it. It was the only thing that Lucifer had instructed him to do. Well, Velnias didn't need to be a destroy-all whirlwind to do that. His Aspect of Hell was Monstrosity. So yes, he was a monster. But, the reason for it wouldn't quite be discovered until he started to fight. Either way, words could get to him, and he could quite certainly and easily understand the intentions behind them too.
He knew who Zeruel was. Well, he didn't know who he was, but he knew what he was. Zeruel was an Arrancar. Arrancar were a part of Las Noches. Arrancar were a part of Sonken Kouhai's army. If he didn't have good cause, Velnias didn't even need to kill him. He didn't even need to attack him, actually. He was allied with Sonken Kouhai by mission as well. Being with Kouhai would produce the most chaotic results. It was only natural to be a part of that army. Velnias did not respect him, nor was he loyal to him. If Lucifer desired, Velnias would betray Kouhai on a whim. He simply stuck with him for the purpose of the mission. That was it. Still, he knew better than to attack one that was deemed an ally at that current time. He completely ignored Zeruel, not responding at all. He simply focused his eyes on Kreiger.
Velnias wasn't going to "just leave." He was going to attack. This was a Shinigami Captain. He recognized the man based on the robe. It was a perfectly logical idea to Velnias. Slow, casual steps started bringing him closer and closer to Kreiger, walking towards him. Nothing to it but that. Just walking. No attacks yet, and no words either. All that he was planning to do was strike out at one that he deemed to be an enemy. He was going to kill the Shinigami, and then leave and go look to do something else in some random place within the world. That was about all that he was going to do. Nothing but that, of course.
OOC: Nevermind, too lazy. I'll list them as they're used.
