There was something quite honest about the way the bandit agreed to being Iroka's friend. Even though he was a rogue, his words seemed rather true. And just like that, two weirdos, crazy in their respective ways, became friends in a most unexpected fashion. For Iroka, friendship was not like the way the average person viewed it. A normal person made friends with those they could get along with, who shared common interests and/or values, and whose company they enjoyed. In the case of more devious people, they targeted those from whom they could gain something, for friendship. For Iroka, a friend was simply someone she could trust to have her back, and who could trust her to do the same. That was enough.
A bright smile transformed her features into one of rapturous joy, as she clapped her hands together in glee. "Hajimemashite, Bandit-dono," she answered eagerly, still using the nickname she had slapped on him. It wasn't as though Iroka was disregarding his name; she now knew the name 'Akira Hinosai', and that name meant something important to her. But he was still 'Bandit-dono'. As far as she was concerned, so he would remain, and despite the negative connotation the name seemed to evoke in others who preferred more prestigious names, that name would be used by Iroka with fondness.
Akira's expectation of mutual introduction somehow got dashed. Because Iroka just stared at him with her characteristic wide-eyed smile on her face until he announced that he had to leave. Unfortunately for Iroka, she was very unlikely to ever become proficient at interacting 'normally' with people, and somehow that tidbit of information, that proper etiquette required that she proffer her name in response to an introduction, somehow skipped undetected across her mind. "Oyasumi, Bandit-dono!" she answered in a bubbly tone, giving the departing Shinigami a happy wave. Then came the realization that she had missed something. "Ara...?"
While she was still agonizing about what she had missed, Akira returned. Apparently, he could not find his way out. That was to be expected, seeing as he had not been conscious when Iroka had dragged him into the hospital ward. "Of course!" she answered his request at being shown the way out, rising spryly to her feet and walking over to him, as she beckoned to him to follow her. "I knew I'd forgotten something important! Visiting hours start from 8am, and go all the way to 6pm... wait, that isn't what I'm supposed to remember. I'm really useless...."
