Izuki was shocked, the creature was unharmed even with the force of the ice and the blade. Then it hit him. The blast pushing him back. He twisted his blade forward and a large boom rippled through the room and a small lighting blasted towards Zanken. This power was never really used unless he was in Release but he had no time and suddenly his entire left forearm was charred though the bandages covered it all. This was why he never took them off anymore. To protect him when he had to use such a blast. The lighting was hardly deadly, nor did it even hurt Zanken. It simply pushed him backwards and out of the way of the oncoming cero. Izuki in the meantime landed next to the beast and quickly shot himself beside Zanken.

"Ngh!" Zanken grunted as the attack hit. It did no real damage to him though, it only blasted him out of the way of the huge Cero. Blast it! That things hide is tough!! Theres got to be a weak spot somewhere though... Zanken thought desperately. Zanken noticed that Izuki had landed by him, and proceeded to say, "Gah!! That things tough, however there should be a few weak spots on it somewhere. The eyes are the most prominent target. I should also say that we do this quickly, the ice wall I made wont be able to stand up too to more of those Ceros, and if your bosses battle gets interrupted... well we're both screwed." Zanken quickly said.

Izuki was still in awe, and a little shocked by the power of such a beast. He was unsure of what to do and made no reply to the Shinigami. His simple twisted his blade forward, aiming it at the creatures eye. He released a small thin bolt of lightning from the tip of the blade. Again his arm lashed across with arms and he placed the blade in his opposite hand. The pain was terrible. But he awaited the reaction of the beast all the same.

In an instant, the creature was dead. Attacking the eye had been good, since it couldn't actually move due to size. It exploded, revealing a further pathway downwards, descending more throughout the tomb. In the meantime, the ice wall that Zanken had put up shattered, and it was revealed that Kuroi's wakizashi were put away. Behind him, blood, pieces, and guts were everywhere, kindly decorating the walls, and giving off a grosteque glow in the artificial light cast by the glow rods. Kuroi had butchered the ninjas. He continued walking down the tomb passageway, as if nothing at all had happened. Time to continue following. Along the way, numerous traps occurred, always from Zanken or Izuki. Kuroi seemed to know where to step. At one point, spikes shot up from the ground at them. At another, a boulder began rolling down towards them. What next?

"All right, that wasn't to hard. Though it seemed like one of the weaker guardians... what other beasts await us within?" Zanken wondered aloud. Well, a new path was cleared now. Since that was the only one opened, that was probably the only way to go. Anyways, Zanken heard a cracking sound, and then his ice wall shattered. There Kuroi was, standing amidst the carnage he had wrought. Well, the ninja's did make good roof ornaments. "Well, you made short work of those guys." Zanken dully noted. In retrospect he kinda pityed the ninjas. They had to fight Kuroi. That unto itself should be considered suicide of the highest degree. Anyways, onwards!!
There were many devilish tricks and traps around every corner of the corridor. One in particular almost got Zanken, which was a spiked trap ripping up out of the ground. Zanken nearly jumped back and almost got skewered by a SECOND trap behind him, but he avoided it by stabbing both of his swords into the ground, preventing himself from being impaled on the spikes. Ugh, traps like these were hard to predict. Though Kuroi had seemed to know where to walk. Perhaps it was best to step on the stones that KUROI stepped on? Well thats what Zanken was doing now. Though he made sure he was far enough away that Kuroi wouldn't slaughter him for standing to close to him or something.

In all honestly Izuki was shocked in a way. It was nothing. One of the smallest things he could have done. And it took down that towering mammoth. But it was indeed time to head onward. Izuki had resheathed his blade and brushed himself off from the small blast he had taken.
Izuki continued on behind both Kuroi and Zanken. He was not careful on the way down the steps and multiple halls that he passed through. Of course this had its drawback. Many traps were sprung for a ways. Spikes, boulders, what else would have been thought up and placed in this dreary place. Actually, Izuki would rather not find out. His followed the exact foot steps in front of him for a ways. Unlike Zanken though, Izuki was right behind him. He didn't want to risk making any more mistakes. For he had no idea what would become of him at the next one.
At last, the three of them reached what appeared to be some kind of Church, though obviously it wasn't a Church since it was located inside of a tomb. But at any rate, it looked just like the interior of an old, Renaissance Church. And, waiting within, were more enemies. These ones were of higher quality, and this was clear, evident, and obvious as lights began illuminating all around. No, not lights. Black lights. Tears of black light formed an enormous circle with Kuroi, Zanken, and Izuki within. Black chains of light ripped out of the tears, connecting them. A huge circle of flames erupted up, trapping them.
And, suddenly, three golden figures materialized. One looked very human, simply being a skeleton of gold color, and holding a sword. The second looked like a man bat, though it was a skeleton with gold color, and wings. The third was a giant, what appeared to be a skeleton ten times the size of the other two, with six arms on each side, and four large wings. It was also gold. Kuroi, naturally, drew his wakizashi, and began jumping around, slashing the giant. The man bat rushed at Zanken, while the regular skeleton rushed at Izuki.

Zanken, along with Kuroi and Izuki, had now reached a section of the labyrinth that looked like a church. However it could not be a church because it was inside of a tomb. Perhaps it was an alter then? In any case, this place didn't seem to have any more entrances or exits around, so perhaps this was the deepest part? Then again there were probably secret passages all over the place. Ahh well, something was happening now.
Black light was descending from the other black lights around the church. Ohh goodie, another trap probably. Now enemys were appearing, they were a gigantic golden skeleton, a golden bat like man skeleton, and a regular looking gold skeleton with six arms. "Well, seeing as Kuroi has the giant, the bat seems to have taken a liking to me, I guess that leaves old six arms for you Octava." Zanken said grinning. Zanken twisted the hilts of his swords and suddenly their elemental powers activated. Zanken slashed forwards with the white blade at the bat thing. Bats weren't fond of heat, would it share this same aversion to heat? Then again gold also had a low melting point. Perhaps that would work to. Anyways Zanken continued his assault on the bat skeleton.

Izuki arrived along side the rest. The church was, or rather the alter inside a tomb was really quite big to be so far underground. That really didnt seem to phase him too much though. Seeing as he had just faced an alligator that could shoot cero from its entire body. And besides that two ninja had some how been down there for what? a few hundred years?
Though the lights that shot down around the three of them did catch him off guard. What an annoyance. All that has happened and STILL there was more to to become of him down here. Izuki was annoyed, but not enough to distract him. This was in the name of power. That was until the skeletons had shown themselves and the large six armed one charged at Izuki. "Great," He muttered. He wasted no time in taking his stance and awaiting the skeletons approach.
OOC: You guys misinterpreted somehow. The skeleton Izuki is engaging has two arms. It's a regular skeleton. The giant is what has six arms, and that's what Kuroi is engaging.
IC:
The manbat flew directly into Zanken's slash, and the blade clanged against the bones. They were not only metallic, but durable. It swiped a claw against Zanken, and since it had penetrated his guard, he was already too late to defend. One claw from the left, and there was blood spraying from a four mark slash on Zanken's chest. Fast, accurate, and deadly, the manbat took off high above him, screeching, before diving back down as if rolling down a precipitous edge, going in for another strike, this time across Zanken's face. If this hit, it would carve out his eyes, like a spoon scooping ice cream from a bowl. It would hurt, and it would render him basically useless, and as good as dead, for the rest of the trip. Knowing Kuroi, he'd kill Zanken for becoming dead weight.
Meanwhile, the skeleton simply stumbled towards Izuki. At first, it was slow, cautious, as if it wanted to make sure that it was standing on something firm. And then, the skeleton began running at Izuki, carving all around him in various, unexpected ways. The skeleton was doing it with one hand, and in some kind of stance that implied shield usage, though apparently lacking that shield. Was it possible that it had the same fighting style as an ancient Greek warrior?

Zanken gripped and uttered a "Ngh!" as the bat man struck his chest. The blow was somewhat reduced by the leather curiass, but not by much. There was still four red stripes and splashes of blood from the strike. It wasn't to bad of a wound though, and now Zanken knew he needed something packing more heat to take this thing down. Zanken carefully watched the thing, following its path. Zanken then saw it was coming back down at him. It was angled towards his face this time. Just great, he needed to take this thing out, fast. Zanken waited till the opertune moment, which was when it was just about to strike at him, and then quickly fired a Furea-Shintou from his right hand, point blank at the beast. It probably would not be able to dodge it, though it might have some kind of escaping move. Best not to think that it would be taken out in a single attack either.

Izuki looked at the skeleton coming at him and honestly thought he looked mental ill. But all the same he was a threat. This would indeed require his blade. So, he unsheathed the zanpakuto and a mass of electricity curled the blade. Izuki shot the blade out to the side, and forced it into the chest area of the skeleton. The force and speed at which Izuki moved was quite stunning. The blow would have thrown him multiple yards to the side when it contacted. And at the same time he would be in line with the blast that was going to hit the bat figure. The hit would strike both of them. Also, gold happens to be an okay conductor too. Which means that when the blade hit the lightning would surge through the skeleton. And even then when it hit the bat one it would transfer to him aswell.

The manbat did not appear to be made of gold, simply a metal that had that color. The Furea Shinto dissolved against the manbat. So that was its power. Durability. It was a creature with a very durable body, so that it didn't have to watch out for attacks. Generally, most attacks had a very hard time damaging it. At the same time, the fire was also taken in! Conducting heat through its body didn't damage it, however. As it moved past Zanken's guard once more, having gotten through Furea Shinto, and with Zanken unable to defend against the attack once more, heat was coursing through it. Zanken had given it another toy to strik with. As a conductor, it could transfer energy. One slash across Zanken once again. This time, from the left shoulder, and then down across the chest, a long, deep set of four slashes, carving through the cuirass. Being leather, it couldn't stop the slash if it went for depth. Heat coursed through Zanken's chest to temporarily stun him in immobilization by sending powerful scorching burns across, while heat ran across his arm to scorch it, and cause it to drop the blade it held. The manbat flapped a wing while Zanken was immobilized, smashing him across the floor with the wing. Then, it dove towards him while he was busy righting himself, and trying to recover.
Meanwhile, the skeleton didn't take any damage from the electricity either, and it simply conducted it across its body, giving it the power to electrify Izuki as well. On top of that, the slash carved through the bones, but the skeleton didn't fly back either. The bones simply mended themselves instantly, and the skeleton, having gotten through Izuki's guard, now had a shot at an attack which he couldn't defend against. One slash across his chest, and blood sprayed out. It wasn't enough to take him from the fight, no one slash could do that if it wasn't intended as a finisher. However, that wasn't the point. Electricity pumped through Izuki now, giving him immobilization for a few seconds, enough time for a second slash. This one would send him rolling across the ground, and now with an X on his torso, with blood dripping out of those wounds, and having sprayed out as well. This was the power of the skeleton. Not durability, but regeneration.

"Snap!" Zanken shouted as the bat hit him. It had absorbed his attack!? Worse yet it channeled the heat from the move into its strike! Well at least Zanken knew his powers were still strong. Zanken grunted as he was hit by the wing, already paralyzed like he was from the strike, he was unable to do anything, and was thus knocked aside. Blast it! This bat skeleton was strong! It wasn't even phased by Zanken's attacks! There had to be some way to defeat it though. Zanken noted that it was probably not the best time to be talking to himself, so he got up quickly and faced the bat. It was coming straight at him. Joy. Zanken somehow had to figure out this things weakness or vulnerability. Zanken quickly backed up against a wall and waited for his foe to come. Lets see if it can feel this then hmm?
