OOC: This is a NDE battle thread between Myzaraphiston Synderfell, Primera Fraccion, and Squad 5's new Captain, Hokori Kuchiki. The setting is in the remains of a village in the outer Rukongai. Myza has already taken the inhabitants away for study, and has even managed to nab a handful of Shinigami who were sent to investigate. Recognizing the familiar pattern, the Central 46 finally decided to step up their resistance against Myza's raids, and have sent Hokori in to take care of the problem.
It was truly a beautiful day, the sun was shining and there were birds in the air. The screams of panic and dissent were not far from the border of the white city. Hokori did not take haste in getting to his mission. He began his walk from his barracks, he didn't run even when the messenger who brought news from the first division's offices handed out the official order to go out and kill an arrancar. Hokori didn't ask any questions, he didn't make a reaction. He merely thanked the messenger and informed his vice-captain that he would be out for that day. He walked from his office in the barracks to the main street. He was greeted of course by the passerby. "Good afternoon Kuchiki-Taicho" they all murmured, he of course nodded his head and murmured good day to them as well.
The path was smooth and warm, as a Kuchiki he wondered if his mother was in the Garden. Laughing as she watched the bees fly around the flowers spreading the nectar, He internally smiled at the memory. He then thought back to the letter, a fourth, sixth and seventh seat along with a moderate group of unseated shinigami had been sent out to mitigate the damage and bring the culprit to justice. However Sayuri's unit lost track of them, they decided to send someone ex-R&D to figure out what was going on. Hokori was tired, he stretched and yawned. He made to make all of his muscles stretched out and ready for anything that might be waiting for him. He missed home, he was ready already to settle down and fight a nice girl. One that understood the love and rigidity of nobility, but still loved Hokori for something more than that. Loved him for who he was.
He let out a exasperated sigh as he reached the border guard. With a nod the guard stepped aside. His massive bulk not really blocking Hokori but merely as a respectful gesture to him. Hokori acknowledged the guard and walked on, all of the emergencies lately made him wonder why the great white wall was not crashing down yet again. He took his first few steps into the Rukongai district and stopped, he closed his eyes and listened. On the air one could hear them, the screams. The horror, the destruction, and chaos. Hokori turned left and headed into the path between the houses that lined the district, It was one of the nice districts. It lacked the refined quality of the South district one, where the nobles resided if they were not in the Seireitei.
When he finally came upon the scene, oh it was a truly gruesome site to behold It was like someone had taken the last 3 houses on each side and deconstructed them into a make shift cattle pen. Spirits were milling about inside it, screaming in hysterics. There were multiple spirits missing limbs, or had deep gashes and abrasions. Hokori took note of it, But what was even more astonishing was the shinigami. fifteen shinigami sometimes three per house were all chained to houses by the same chain. It must have been at least three hundred feet long with long iron pegs at intervals of around 10 feet.
Four things were abundantly clear when Hokori walked up upon the scene. One, every single shinigami had their arms tore clean off. Yet the wounds were cauterized to allow the men and women to cling to life. Two, a little over a third of them had their mouths open and were moaning in agony. This allowed for him to deduce that they had their tongues cut out as well. Three, all of them no matter if they were moaning or not were still alive. This was surprising, surprising indeed. Hokori walked over to the nearest man and looked him over, he'd never scene this kind of handy work before. When certain individuals "work people over," they leave a distinct pattern like a signature. This was not anyone familiar, but that made Hokori all the more curious. The fourth obvious thing that was clear to Hokori, was that for the moment the culprit was no where to be found.
Hokori began to walk towards the civilian spirits, he would get the shinigami down. Civilians however took priorities, so as he began to walk over to them he kept his eyes out. He began to fluctuate both his spiritual pressure to induce gravitational pressure. But he also began to let his reiastu flow naturally. All around him shinigami began to vomit from the walls and the spirits began to kneel over choking in their own vomit. Hokori was doing something interesting. He was trying while he freed the prisoners, to strike something into the psychopath should he or she be watching. The difference in reiastu strength made her feel as if she was being poisoned by radiation and on top of that the feeling of breath being lost and knees getting weak and wanting to drop to the floor as they couldn't withstand the force that Hokori was exerting. During that time he kept his head down but his eyes open and his instincts sharp. If he did it right, whoever was watching would have two instincts warring at them. Fight and Flight, so as Hokori began to close in on the cage what would happen?

Myza quite enjoyed her little forays into the Soul Society. While she might not have been at the same level of capability that Kuroi was, she certainly wasn't any slouch at it either. Like most of her forays out of Los Noches, this mission was meant to help gather supplies for her experiments. As such, she had developed a rather efficient system at performing her gathering. Step 1: Suppress Reiatsu as soon as you enter. Step 2: Attack a village with physical force or any Hollows dragged along to draw Shinigami attention. Step 3: Capture the weak Shinigami who come expecting Hollows. Step 4: Rinse, lather, and repeat until forced to reveal self. All in all, the system worked like magic.
However, it seemed that the Central 46 was starting to pick up on this pattern after almost a century of using it on the Rukongai. At least, that was the only explanation Myza had for the large amount of Reiatsu she felt entering her "base". It was a shinigami, no doubt about that. And a strong one, at that. This was yet another case where she would be fighting someone able to actually cut through her Hierro. But, as she had proven against many, many opponents, just because they could cut her doesn't mean they would ever get the chance to.
She still kept her reishi signature hidden from obvious view as she willed her Pesquis into existence, the technique enabling her to keep perfect track of where Hokori was from the safety of one of the few still-standing huts roughly 15 feet away from Hikori. She slowly lifted up a hand, aiming at the the Shinigami's location, not charging any energy for a Cero yet. Thankfully, he was closer to the civilians than her captive Shinigami, which meant that the more valuable test subjects were thankfully out of her line of fire.
She then ceased concealing herself, the energy for a Cero quickly charging in her hand. This would happen at the same time that Hokori unleashed his gravitational pressure. Myza felt the man's energy pushing against her, trying to compress her lungs. However, there wasn't a moment of panic. This Shinigami was worthless in comparison to the Reiatsu she was surrounded by on a daily basis. Yes, he may have been strong compared to some people. But Myza was surrounded by individuals like Adalo, Kuroi, and Shiroi on a daily basis. Compared to them, he was nothing. She was able to almost instinctively resist the pressure, her own reiatsu forming a bulwark against it.
The other individuals, however, were not so lucky. As soon as Hokori let loose his gravitational pressure, every single other civilian and the captured Shinigami died on the spot, his overwhelming spiritual pressure essentially crushing them where they were. And Myza was able to feel all of them die, thanks to her Pesquis. She was able to feel each and every one of their spiritual energies be snuffed out by this Shinigami's actions. And it made her furious.
In the the nearly immeasurable span of time that brief moment of registration took, Myza fired her Cero at Hokori. The energy blast would just shear through the hut she was hiding in, and barrel towards the Captain. If it hit him, he would be more than likely devastated by the attack. However, this was not the end of the assualt. No, it was only a beginning. Hokori had almost casually murdered dozens of people, something that no Shinigami should ever do in Myza's mind. It was a Shinigami's duty to protect others, to use their strength and power to ensure that those who could become strong had the chance. This man... This man was disgusting. He was going against God's plan! She took a deep breath, locking onto the man's position if he had dodged the attack. "You miserable little ant. How dare you? HOW DARE YOU! YOU KILLED THEM ALL!! 14 men, 12 women, and 13 children! And the men and women who you called your allies! Their blood is on YOUR HANDS, Shinigami! I hearby find you guilty of murder, of cruelty, and stepping out of your place in God's Plan! Your punishment shall be death, by my hands!"
She would unwrap her chain from around herself in one quick motion, driving a hook into her wrist and slashing it open. "Punish and Absolve...." A foul-smelling black fluid when burst out of the open wound, quickly moving to cover her body and hardening into a dark grey armor. "Agonia Inquisidor!!!" At that moment, Hokori would feel the woman's spiritual energy skyrocket, eventually leaving his awareness. If he had any experience fighting other Arrancar who had released their Zanpakuto, he would realize exactly what this change in energy meant. If he didn't know, however, he would soon find out.
There was a wet ripping noise, then suddenly, six jet-black tentacles would burst out of Myza, each heading directly for the captain, cutting off the directions he could Shunpo except for directly behind him. If one of them hit him, he would get the black fluid leaking out in the wound, instantly sending an unbelievable amount of pain arcing through his entire body. This would more than likely end the fight before it even had the chance to begin, and leave Hokori completely at Myza's mercy.
Oh my, I seemed to have underestimated my power. Hokori thought to himself. All of the Spirits feel to the ground and their breathing, Audible to the senses of Hokori stopped. Sorrow gripped him, as he was not intending to kill these spirits and yet he felt a faintly unattached to them. Hokori was once apart of squad twelve, He served under the brutality and blatant cruelty that he assumed with his mantle. What was more, he was of the Kuchiki family. The Kuchiki family taught the methods of torture used in squad 2, Hokori undergoing such training knew of the tactics used by even Sozen. The Kuchiki were cold, calculated, and knew the ways of war. He felt the sorrow and yet vanquished it without a second thought. He wasn't too bad at vanquishing it at a convenient moment either. There was a scream behind him and he turned.
Hokori turned with his full speed and just in time to see the hut to his left in the back explode and a Cero fly forward at him. In that moment he drew his blade, and it began to glow in a harsh green light as it left his sheath. By the moment he had it fully drawn and grasped his shikai was firmly released. In his hand now shoot a blade almost identical to his sealed form, but the guard had changed, becoming more of a fencing style guard. a deep grove seemed to run the length of the blade and a deep green almost black ink began to flow the length of the blade and dripped onto the ground. Parallel to his body and in front of him, a tome formed in the air. It had his reiastu signature all about it. Hokori's eyes noted the Cero and took a gamble.
Hokori's shikai had formed due to a mental release. Myza had yet to fight someone with bankai unlocked, so her knowledge of a shinigami's ability to release shikai with only a mental activation would be slim to none. His tome was wide open, his shikai's pages fluttered and lit up with a harsh green light as he activated one of his most natural powers his shikai gave him. He had the ability to absorb reiastu based attacks of inferior reiastu strength. But it didn't do just that, it filled in the blanks of his mind around techniques that he didn't understand. In this case, even though he knew what it might have been it was nice to have his suspicions confirmed.
The Cero approached and then suddenly and unexpectedly began to be sucked towards the Tome. It didn't have a choice once it was on him, it just flew almost into the pages until it was entirely extinguished. There was no explosion, only the silence. And then the screech of a women bursting forth from the wreckage of the shack and screaming out at Hokori.
Hokori smiled faintly in response to the ultimate irony. An arrancar who was created from a high level hollow who murdered souls and consumed both innocent dead and other hollows to gain its prior form to becoming an arrancar was actually yelling at him for the death of spirits that were as he thought, grievous losses resulting from her. Before she spoke again he murmured in his rich deep tone that he rarely used, seductive, with a hit of sarcasm. "Oh really.... You are truly extraordinary specimen. I look forward to breaking you." She raked her chain across her arm and suddenly a putrid smell riddled the air. Her spiritual pressure was sky rocketing, becoming a new form of dense power. Myza was wrong about one thing, Hokori could still sense her power easily. He was two classes above her, he could still sense her in such a form as primera etapa. "Punishand Absolve....Agonia Inquisidor!!!" Grey armor formed over her body, and in that moment Hokori dropped his blade and his Tome began to hover to his side.
There was a wet ripping noise, then suddenly, six jet-black tentacles burst out of Myza, wrapping around the arrancar like snakes. They were enormous, more than fifty feet long and each seemed to smell as putrid as when the Arrancar decided to rake the chain across her arm. Dripping off of the tentacles was a black liquid. Hokori immediately had a moment of black humor in his mind, She had a liquid probably not unlike his own. She used a form of poison based out of her rieastu, just like him. It mas humorous. But as the tentacles wrapped around her and began to block off his paths of travel he deduced a few things. First that they were extremely slow and he could dance around them with ease. Second that they were leaving him with two options.
He calculated the reiastu output, and then brought his sword up at a resting position his reiastu was fluxing again, His eyes alive in the power that was his. "Kuchiki LilyBlade, Karin" The tentacles were closing in and he had maybe a second or two left. He arced his arm to the widest arc his body could perform with a blade. And suddenly his arm and the blade became a shadow, suddenly appearing to the other side before kicking off with a shunpo of his own. However he left a little surprise, A wide arcing blade of ink was hovering exactly following the trail of his attack. How could this be? The Kuchiki who showed swordsmanship promise were taken in and taught unique and complex swordsmanship styles. One was the lilyblade, it allowed him to direct liquid off his blade to perform blades created from the directed liquids. They could cut as well as his blade and lasted for around three seconds. He had placed them there in a fraction of a second so they would hold long after he finished his action and used his shunpo to back peddle. The tentacles that attacked in the area of influence would be effected as he waited until they were almost upon him to act.
They'd be sliced open, Their contents spilling out onto the ground everywhere, with the length and arc of the attack he estimated would absolutely cleave two of the tentacle sacks in half horizontally and gash at least two more. If he hit all six that would be great, if he didn't it didn't matter. The damage was done, he landed on the roof of one of the shacks with his shunpo just inside the maximum attack range of the tentacles, around fifty five feet away Hokori was still making sure that he avoided the tentacles, but now he noticed something else. Black liquid was spilling out everywhere over the battlefield, it seemed that the tentacles were just sacks of poison. It was filling the avenue and covering the bodies in the think black goo. He wondered, "Come on Love! Your Tentacles can't touch me, Now let's see what your Cero and Bala can do!" What she wouldn't realize, was that because that ink was what had cut her tentacles and they were skin that was connected to her body. She'd be feeling apart of his shikai taking affect of her mind.
Her instincts would drop slowly, that she may have not even noticed it. But it wasn't important at the moment. It would only slowly drain her as there were no muscles in the skin sacks it seemed but striking one tentacle set off the chain, striking two made it worse, and striking four just made it fun. He was not smiling but inside he was reeling. He wanted to cut her with his blade. Gravitational pressure was still in effect, so she needed to keep her wits about her. But this fight, while started was far from over. Would she take his taunt? Would she start trying to attack him more directly? Hokori didn't know, but he was enjoying the fight.

"You look like an extraordinary specimen, I look forward to breaking you."
Myza had noted the silent release that Hokori had performed, along with the vivid green liquid now oozing from the blade. She didn't care that her Cero had been absorbed by the book that appeared as well. After all, that attack wasn't meant to harm as much as it was to distract, something that always gave her time to release and revert back to an echo of her former self. However, what did bother her was the bright green liquid now coming from the Shinigami's blade. It was like a bright neon sign saying "I'm dangerous, don't let me touch you!!"
So Myza would take precautions to ensure that it didn't get the chance. When Hokori took his evasive maneuvers and tried to cut apart the Arrancar's tentacles, he would find that the arc of liquid just harmlessly passed through them, not harming them in the least. The reason for this was exceedingly simple: Myza had activated her Inescapable Pursuit ability to render them intangible to any non-living spiritual matter. It was a simple process that required nothing more than a thought to activate, and greatly helped counter most people's usual responses to her tentacles closing in on them. Even better for Myza, Hokori's ink wouldn't be able to actually make any contact with the appendages, simply phasing through them like they weren't even there. This meant that there was no loss of Instinct on her part, and no loss of tentacles. Hokori might as well have blown her a kiss for all the good his counter did him.
And now, after his dodge, it was her turn to take action. She would finally start moving in this fight, breaking into a run towards the Shinigami. He would be in range of the tentacles again in no time at all, and that's when Myza would attack. The tentacles suddenly descended underground, phasing into the earth seamlessly. Hokori would loose the ability to keep track of them normally while they were submerged, having only the areas where they were attached on the Arrancar's body to really go off of. However, that was the least of his problems. Hokori would suddenly feel the ground beneath collapse, ruining any stable footing he had and thus greatly interfering with any Shunpo he might use. The cause of this collapse was simple: Myza had fired a Cero from on of the tentacles she had kept underground, utterly annhilating the surrounding earth with it. It wasn't much, but it was enough to create an instant sinkhole right under Hokori. It was then that three of the tentacles would emerge out of the crumbling ground around Hokori, lashing out at the man's lower legs. If they hit, they would immediately start wrapping around the man's legs, holding him in place and starting to squeeze. There was a silver lining if this situation came to pass, however. Thanks to Inescapable Pursuit, Myza would not be able to inject any poison into Hokori, thus sparing him from the agony that it would inflict.
Regardless of the success of this action, at the same time it was happening, Myza would charge and deposit a Cero Durmiente from her mouth, the dark green orb simply sitting there in front of her for now. She would then respond to Hokori's taunt from earlier, anger obvious in her voice. "I believe you are both underestimating me and overestimating yourself, Shinigami. Do you know who I am? I am Myzaraphiston Synderfell, the Mistress of Pain! I am the Primera's Fraccion, and I will show you just how unfit you are to exist in this universe! And you... I recognize your Squad emblem, Shinigami. You are the captain of Squad 5. Today, you shall fall to me, Zieg Revolver!"
Hokori watched the tentacles turned a weird color, almost a phantasm color and transparency and shifted right through the ink. Hokori was impressed that with her body's reaction speed in conjunction with her instincts she was able to process and change tactics that quickly, but that was unimportant. He was more in thought of the fact that when the tentacles just sank underground. They didn't dig, but just phased under the physical soil like it was a ghost. Hokori thought about that, thinking that if she could phase her tentacles through the ground then she could probably phase it through the shacks and through his blade. This could lead to a slip into his defenses that he could produce of a physical kind. However he had other defenses, but what annoyed him and costed Myzaraphiston Synderfell greatly was apparently the need to be able to see.
The roof of the cottage that Hokori was standing on, groaned and shifted as Myza fired her cero at the ground that served as a foundation, and although if Hokori were on ground level right underneath the cero this would have been bad. However, he wasn't. He was a story higher than she presumed, and so He didn't shunpo immediately although he could, he merely cocked out a finger from his already raised sword hand and murmured, "Hado 4. Byakurai." Because she was trying to use a tentacle to come up through the house directly on him, it would fail have to uncoil and work it's way up. However, Myza had made another mistake. She decided to charge a cero and then make a taunt of her own that took away her time to react and dodge. To make matters worse he casted a spell on his kidou, a speed Hana. Speed hana #5 To. It increased any projectile kidou including byakurai up to a speed of twice his maximum shunpo speed. So he had made his attack's attacking speed 8000 speed stat. As fast as mach 2.
The bolt of lightning that left from Hokori's right index finger hurled forward and speared through her chest. Right through the sternum and through her right lung just missing her spine. His senses and instincts were spot on with a animal. And even from this distance he knew the mark he aimed for he would hit. There were multiple reasons that this worked in his favor. She was preoccupied with her Cero charge, and then on top of that arrogantly stopped to tell him her name, rank, and who she though he was. Had she been a true primera fraccion, perhaps she would have been on guard while making that taunt. Perhaps she would have created a bigger cero to completely annihilate the foundation of the cottage Hokori had chosen to stand on. It didn't matter as it was in the past and too late for her to change her actions.
She was lucky though, that he had chosen a light spell. Although truth be told, because he had mastered the spell and it was a weak spell was the reason he was able to fire it in speed, he wasn't a kidou expert like his cousin Kyomei. But he could however, make use of what he had mastered. Reducing the charge rate on a #4 spell and skipping the incantation was child's play even without a mastery in the general kidou arts. She had been counting on him to have to immediately work on dodging the tentacles that were underground, but had not properly assessed the situation, so she paid for it. He stepped off with a shunpo, his tome protecting him from any cero or bala retaliation, even if she didn't realize it and landed outside her tentacle range. Then began tracing his sword in the air letting the ink spill out over the thatched roof, all the while speaking aloud for her to hear.
"I'm not Zieg Revolver Dear, that scum joined the Quincy. The Vandenriech shall be eradicated, and Zieg caught and punished for deserting and turning on us. I'll be overjoyed when we catch him, so we can take turns watching him burn." He was careful, during that speak he kept his eyes on Myza, and was swaying back and forth. dancing outside of her Tentacle's range. How would she react now that she had a injury, and unknown to Hokori her release was almost half way out. This was turning into a one sided fight, Hokori was just getting warmed up however. He loved to see how she would react next. He merely waited to see what she would do, he would take her back alive. But alive never equated to not being maimed. He had a way to seal her actions once she tired herself out, what would she do if he drove her to that however, he smiled in anticipation. He so dearly wanted to find out.

"You look like an extraordinary specimen, I look forward to breaking you."
There's a theory about individuals being connected by at the most seven degrees of relationships. This theory was now receiving its attention in the spiritual world between two different races. Not so long ago, Hokori had gotten the opportunity to learn a valuable lesson about dodging at the hands of Squad 3's Vice Captain, Raygin Sakubara. Raygin and Myzaraphiston had fought in the past, coming out at a draw of sorts when Myza retreated from the battlefield rather than continue the fight. And now here was Hokori, getting the chance to experience this lesson once again, at the hands of his last "teacher's" opponent.
Hokori was fast, yes. His instincts and senses were also exemplary. However, none of this served him right now, simply because he had not even bothered to begin to dodge. Instead, while standing on the house that was being consumed by a Cero-created sinkhole, he had actually taken the time to softly speak the shorthand incantation and fire it at the Arrancar. Had he been on stable footing that wasn't leaving his feet as he aimed, he would have hit her. However, he was standing on top of a collapsing shack. The falling roof threw off his aim, sending the Byakurai towards the body of one of the fallen Shinigami.
Except that the Shinigami wasn't dead. She had actually possessed enough personal power to resist Hokori's gravitational pressure, and was just begining to get up from his position when the Byakurai speared through her head at Mach 2. Unfortunately for the Shinigami, this didn't kill her. No, it had the happy effect of slicing through her frontal lobe, instantly lobotomizing the poor woman.
This wasn't what lead to Hokori's second lesson in dodging, however. No, what lead to that was his timing for the Kido. He had waited until she had begun talking to fire his attack, which meant that the tentacles had curled around his legs by then. The barbs all over would instantly start shredding his flesh thanks to the constriction, cutting deeply into muscle. The bone hooks on the end of each of the three tentacles would also cut deeply into his legs, severing the ligaments in the back of both of his knees and expertly cutting the Achilles tendon on his left foot. There would be an extreme amount of pain because of this, even without Myza's poison interacting with his system. Shunpo would now be utterly impossible for him, since he couldn't even stand, let alone take the step necessary to initiate it.
However, this wasn't the end of his lesson. No, his lesson was just beginning now, and Myza would show him the error of his ways. The other three tentacles would come up out of the ground then, two of them wrapping tightly around his arms, pinning them to his sides. The third would come up to his face, waving hypnotically in front of it for a moment before trying to force its way into his mouth. Myzaraphiston walked closer while this happened, stopping when she was in 30 feet of the Captain. "This trial is over. I hereby find you guilty of 50 counts of murder, forgoing your purpose as a Shinigami to protect others, and of being unfit to survive. Your punishment will begin now."
The bone-hook that had forced its way into his mouth would deftly slice across the back of his tongue, separating the muscle from his mouth. It would then take out the detached flesh, throwing it onto the ground. Before Hokori got a chance to truly comprehend the pain, the other five tentacles would all move in unison, bashing Hokori upon the ground face-first. They would lift him up slightly, then ram him into the ground again and again and again and again. At about the third impact with the ground, Myza would turn off Inescapable Pursuit, sending her poison coursing through Hokori's body. Any pain he had felt before would not even begin to compare to what he felt as soon as the black liquid entered his system. It felt like every nerve in his body had been simultaneously lit on fire, and then began sharing a tight embrace with barbed wire.
Despite this, however, he wouldn't be getting the luxury of unconsciousness. No, the poison Myza had injected ensured that. No matter how much his body wanted to simply sink into blackness to avoid the pain, it couldn't. There was simply too much pain. Myza would draw Hokori closer then, a cold fury in her eyes. She would hold the tentacle that wasn't grasping Hokori in front of him, lifitng up his face to force him to look at her, injecting more poison into the man in the meantime. "I could take you back to Hueco Mundo, so that we could continue this little session. But you're not worthy of even that. Instead, the others shall know of what you did. And I will ensure it."
Myza's free tentacle would then start carving into Hokori's forehead, injecting yet more of her poison into the man as it did so. For what seemed like an eternity, she would carve into the skin on his forehead, even forcing him to hear the sound of bone scraping against bone at some points. When she was done, there would be a simple message written into his forehead in a flowing script: This man has killed 14 men, 12 women, and 13 children, and 11 Shinigami. One was simply lobotomized by him. I hope you find someone to actually protect these people in the future.
Hokori would suddenly feel the ground beneath collapse, ruining any stable footing he had and thus greatly interfering with any Shunpo he might use. The cause of this collapse was simple: Myza had fired a Cero from on of the tentacles she had kept underground, utterly annihilating the surrounding earth with it. It wasn't much, but it was enough to create an instant sinkhole right under Hokori.
Now, you point out her that you had fired a cero annihilating the ground underneath Hokori. That a small sinkhole was made to keep Hokori from using shunpo, It in your own words wasn’t much but enough to stop him from using Shunpo. I agree with you that this would be hard to argue with, if Hokori was on the ground. HOWEVER, he was not. He was on the rooftop of a cottage. Now here is my counter post to that attacking you with a high speed attack. Bear with me as it will be a large quote.
Byakurai." Because she was trying to use a tentacle to come up through the house directly on him, it would fail have to uncoil and work its way up.
My counter post had even mentioned this, Hokori was not on ground level there was a story. Roughly 12 to 15 feet of space between the ground and his feet where the Cero exploded. I mention here that he attacked you because you left him that window, after your sleeper cero was charging and you began to taunt and call him Zieg with an attack that moves at such a speed that you would need to have a Sonido that was a 5.2 x increase to what Myza possesses now. And that was to match it. Now onto your current post which quite frankly irritates me. And I’ll show you why.
Instead, while standing on the house that was being consumed by a Cero-created sinkhole, he had actually taken the time to softly speak the shorthand incantation and fire it at the Arrancar.
And this also from your current post.
This wasn't what led to Hokori's second lesson in dodging, however. No, what lead to that was his timing for the Kido. He had waited until she had begun talking to fire his attack, which meant that the tentacles had curled around his legs by then.
Now, to point out from my first quote, you created a SMALL sink hole. Enough that it would impede my shunpo, Not take out the entire foundation of a house. That kind of attack would require a much bigger cero. Now, I’ll be honest. Vaporizing dirt to create a sink hole under a cottage is going to cause some damage to a cottage no matter what. But what logically would have been damaged would have been the floor, not the outer most walls causing a cave in when you tried to create a small sinkhole. Had you created a larger cero, I’d be hard pressed to argue. But you HADN’T, you created a small man sized sink hole to try to entrap Hokori and prevent his use of shunpo.
Now I love this next part. Hokori took the time to softly speak, in combat? Are you serious? Hokori is neither Lazy nor a slow speaker. And because he used the shortened incantation It should have been more of a problem for you. Now to my second quote of your post. I had waited until you were talking. I fired it as you were charging your cero, and trying to taunt. To be fair that did mean I cut off your little rant about calling Hokori, Zieg. But because of speed of the attack and the confidence of the immediate attack of your tentacles you taunted and left me that opening without realizing it. Now to the Tentacles, I agree and even like the idea of inescapable pursuit, but you fucked up. Where is the point of the 12-15 feet that they have to actually climb to get to Hokori AFTER curling around air in the cottage because you made the mistake of saying he was on the ground and he wasn’t. YOU made the mistake of saying he was on the ground and then the tentacles would curl on him immediately. YOU made the choice to create a small man sized sinkhole to try to sink a cottage.
If I got cocky and lost because of it, that’s fine. But you made mistakes here not me, and Myza is paying for it, not Hokori.

OOC: All right, the ruling is in. Zou had me present this in front of a Jury of three people (Z, Kami, and Kou), and they read it over. They all agree that Hokori is still hit by the tentacles, due to his timing of his attack, and that the house did indeed collapse because there is no way that a 600 RS Cero can be considered "small". So all of Myza's last post still stands.

Hokori hooked forward spearing an apparently alive shinigami in the brain with his byakurai. He however miscalculated that a small sinkhole was actually twenty feet in diameter and began to sink the house that he had been standing on but before he could fall the Arrancar's phasing tentacles grabbed him. Pain, pain was a fickle thing. Despair was also a fickle thing, it was something that could grab hold of your soul. He had experienced a pain and despair that Myza had never witnessed before, could even dream of. He had listened to the devil himself talk, joke and laugh at Hokori's misery and pain. As Myza's first three tentacles grabbed his legs lower legs wrapping upward and began to curl around his body, a fire lit into Hokori heart and mind. A rage that she had touched him. The pain that came with her touching him. He had no points in pain tolerance and he was able not to ignore pain. but to focus on a different pain and the rage he long remembered from his conflict with Lucifer. The defiance he cried out as his reiastu in his body exploded outward. Before the tentacles got farther than the back of his knees he screamed out at the arrancar and the world,
"BANKAI!" He screamed, reiastu shot out of him in waves and his blade changed shadowing into both hands. but what was more, his tome exploded wrapping his body and the land around himself and Myza in a storm of paper. He instinctively wrapped himself in a sphere of his paper. When the paper came in contact with the tentacles that were wrapped around his legs they were immediately pulled into the papers. Had they been physical, they would not have been absorbed in such a permanent and painful manner. The poison that was in each tentacle was also pulled in as it was made of reiastu as well. The paper formed a sort of egg that lifted Hokori's body high above the battle field. Hokori immediately thought of only the pain and the fear of blood loss. He wasn't immune to pain but he felt his zanpakuto feeding him information
'Wrap them tightly', 'cuff them around each other'. 'use them like paper thin bandages'. And it was right, pressure and over eight thousand pages wrapped around his legs kept him from bleeding out like a fire hose. He could feel a heat searing through his legs. His lower legs and just above his knees were shredded. "Kyousei No Sousho, Wan Shi Tong." He hissed. He wouldn't be able to walk for the rest of this fight. But his bankai was spreading out over the field while part of it was filling in around him, The shell of paper was a foot thick but hollow from the waist up. He still had full motion of his arms and his torso, but he wouldn't leave the shell. He was done toying around, he would take her body back to squad twelve and allow only the most vile of experiments to be done on her.
All around Myza and Hokori's shell, tomes flew around, and between them, over two hundred thousand papers stretched into the sky and the village around the two, and more and more papers were being produced every second. Tidal waves of papers flew through the air like gaping hands that blocked out the sun and crashed onto the landscape. Hokori was 60 feet in the air, just below the apex of the thin dome that he used around fifty percent of the two hundred thousand papers to create. He gritted his teeth and held onto his rage, which blocked out a fraction of his burning feeling in his legs and the pain. The sections of paper and around 600 Tomes flew in three streams at Myza, they arced around her body with spare pieces of the papers flying straight for her tentacles to stick to them. A smaller more spaced orb of paper began to spin around Myza closing in on her and the three spinning rings of paper and tomes
Should she keep her inescapable pursuit on, they would not be even survive the touch but the section of the tentacle up to the tip after the paper would be cut off from the tentacle, pulled in, and absorbed. The papers would continue moving up the tentacles until they were completely absorbed by the papers. But that was not likely. What would be more likely would that the papers would immediately hit and stick to the tentacles. If that happened, A seal of the Kanji "To tell" would form on the back of her neck. Even with Pesquis this would be impossible to sense on her person, Hokori's mind was not clear but it was merely refocusing the rage. As long as he was enraged he wasn't focusing on the pain of his lower legs being dug into.
Her stats, abilities filled his mind. And what was more her Resurrection level and overall ability flooded into his mind. He analyzed it, and immediately cried out in pain and then laughed out loud. More and more of the smaller make shift sphere flew at Myza to attach themselves to her body. And all the while something was happening. Every paper, every tome was seeping out a gas that was affecting everyone but Hokori. Myza's instinct until she realized that she was breathing in such a gas would be dropped by 5. For at least this post it was impossible for her to not breath it in, as she would have to breathe it in to realize it was there to try to stop breathing.
However to escape she would have to avoid letting the papers touch her entire form, and get a distance of more than fifteen feet from every single paper and tome he possessed. So with the papers flying around her, and the three rings continued to spin in a way in a ten foot diameter. so with this how would Myza respond. Hokori's blades were pouring his ink all over the ground from the air as the shell of paper floated around. The ink would start to spread over the ground, slowly starting to drip over the ground and towards Myza's feet it'd reach her in around two to three posts if she stayed in her current position. so how would she react now?
Remaining Reiastu: 2475/3500
Bankai: 1/10
Air Instinct Drain: 5
Total instinct drain: 5

Myza had been around a long time. Over half a millennium, as a matter of fact. She was a veritable walking repository of information on most of the common races, particularly when it came to showing them how unfit they were in a trial. However, Hokori was now doing something that hadn't happened to her in quite some time: He was showing her something she had never seen before. In her five centuries of existence, the arrancar had never even gotten the opportunity to see a Shinigami's final state of release herself. She had heard of it, certainly. She even knew that every Captain of the so-called Death Gods could utilize this "Bankai". But actually seeing it.... Well, that had eluded her, mostly because she tried her hardest to not confront individuals with that level of power.
But now, here she was, having this pathetic excuse of a Captain draw out his highest pinnacle of ability against her. In all honesty, she was surprised that he was able to even think coherently at this point. Even she would be struggling to keep a solid line of thought going if she had gotten her legs shredded like that. Every nerve in his leg would be screaming at him at this point, not to mention the light-headedness from the bloodloss. She didn't quite know how he was managing it, but in the end, it wouldn't matter. Everyone had their limits, and she was exceptionally good at finding them, and leaving them far behind in a spectacle of blood and pain.
However, pondering on his ability to function at this point wasn't high on Myzaraphiston's priority list right now. This lack of priority was enforced by the simple matter of her tentacles suddenly being drawn into the papers themselves. The sensation was... unpleasant, to say the least. Not nearly as bad as when the appendages were cut into pieces by a sword, but still a sensation she was less than accepting of. She was quickly able to tell from how the papers were reacting with her tentacles that they more likely than not were able to absorb reishi, which prompted her to immediately will her tentacles back into their fully physical state. This instantly severed where the appendages were attached to the paper, sending a veritable geyser of her poison spraying out.
Myza would cry out in pain at this, the first sign of any actual damage on the Arrancar during the entire fight, the tentacles cringing back from the paper, still wildly spraying her poison. However, if even the tiniest drop wasn't absorbed by the paper, it would get into the wounds on the 5th Captain's legs, instantly incapacitating him. The mere memory of Lucifer wouldn't be able to compare to that pain, no matter how vividly Hokori may remember it. A memory of pain will never compare to the reality of it However, this would merely be a happy side effect if it were to come to pass. Myza already had a different plan in mind, one that she had formulated as soon as she felt the Captain release and the tomes release their papers into the air.
As with many of Myza's plans, it ultimately relied on simplicity itself. The Shinigami was surrounding her with papers from his books. Papers composed and energized with Reishi. Myza had felt their energized composition as soon as they started pouring out, and had instantly been able to formulate a plan. The fact that he was surrounding her was... Troubling, to say the least. However, in the end, it didn't concern her too much. All she would have to do was take a leap of faith, and trust in God to help one of his Chosen People to prove to this Shinigami how unfit he was. Myza curled the base of her tentacles embedded in her shoulders over her face as they flinched back from the pain, the pages still curling in closer and closer to the woman. Then... She stepped.
Hokori would hear the sound of static, and Myzaraphiston would just be gone from his view. The papers Hokori had circled around her had been virtually useless in stopping the high-speed movement. It was simple physics. Myza had far more mass than any of the individual sheets of paper did, and was moving at a far greater speed than they were even capable of. If the paper wanted even a snowball's chance in hell in stopping her, it would have to be moving at over 14000 times the speed of sound. And while it may have been collectively four inches of paper all together, Myza was nearly strong enough to physically tear apart concrete walls. As such, she was able to force herself through each of the four paper barriers Hokori had placed around her while using her Sonido, not even breaking stride. Her step ended roughly 200 feet outside of the paper dome. She uncovered the tentacle from her face, the appendage covered by numerous small lacerations. Again, it was painful, but nothing that the Arrancar couldn't tolerate. Now... Now it was time to handle the annoyance of this Bankai, and finish off this Captain.
Hokori would be able to sense the Arrancar's next move before he was able to actually see it. It was as if suddenly all the reishi in the air around him suddenly went wild, as if turbulence had suddenly picked up. Then, all of the paper, his tomes, and the ink spreading across the ground, would suddenly start moving towards the left. The reason for this was simple. Myza had utilized one of the most unique properties about herself: Her ability to forcibly condense her spiritual matter back into herself. She had absorbed her tentacles back into her body, activating a spiritual sinkhole of sorts. Every Reishi-composed object in the area would immediately start funneling towards her.
Hokori would feel the negative effects right away as the reams of paper holding him 60 feet off the ground and staunching his bleeding were all ripped away from his body. They would all be 15 feet away from him in a second. It would take 1.9 seconds for him to fall to the ground, forcing the papers a total of 45 feet way from him in the meantime. The Shinigami would be impacting the ground with a total force of 1323 Newtons, or 222 pounds. Whatever body part he landed on wouldn't break. It would simply shatter, and quite possibly pierce out of the skin. This would be even more pain, one that he couldn't block out with a memory of pain, no matter how great it was in the past. He would be broken, and bleeding on the ground.
However, Myza wasn't leaving any chance of this scum surviving. Earlier in the fight, she had planted a Sleeper Cero. It was moving towards her, just like the other spiritual particles in the area. However, it was moving far more slowly than the papers and ink were, having more "mass" in reishi than the other objects. She utilized her Sonido once again, still staying within the 200 foot distance from the original location of the dome. She was easily able to calculate the exact position she would need to finish this fight. Her step took her there, and she willed the orb of energy to release its power. The Cero would fire, arcing towards her. However, this arc would also carry it a good distance away from the papers, and fire right on top of Hokori. With no use of his legs, and the protective papers no longer around him, he would be virtually helpless to counter the green energy. It would wash over him, burning past skin, through muscle, and even to bone in the extremities. The Cero would keep going, and impact the Arrancar herself. However, she would harmlessly ingest it as it washed over her. At this point, the Shinigami's Bankai would have almost certainly ended, since he was knocking on Death's door. "The sentence has been passed. The Captain of Squad 5, Zieg Revolver, has been found unfit to survive. May he burn in Hell for stepping out of God's plan."

OOC: All right, it's been 8 days. I'm not going to sit around waiting like Zou is for his Hokori post. So, if there isn't a fully completed post in 2 more weeks here, I'll just send this in for grading.
